PSE trial 12 installed just fine but when i start the editor it opens and shuts down after about 2 seconds without an error, the only thing that appears is a message with 'continue trial'.
I have windows 8.1 64 bit and i already installed the latest video drivers, intel hd 4000 and nvidia geforce 710M.
I also installed premiere elements version 12 with the same problem.
What can be the problem here, please help?

Yes, its a shame. I have also contacted lenovo support hoping that they can sort out this problem. However, first response from them was 'contact your internet service provider since internet connectivity goes down'! :-/ I am hoping I have been able to get through to them now at least about where the problem lies. I wonder if anyone has tried using the laptop with the same broadcom wireless adapter with some other version of OS (linux, windows 7 etc.) and whether they still face the same problem. I haven't tried that yet. If this is just an OS / driver issue I hope someone somewhere is working on a fix! If not, I guess the only other solution would be to get an external USB wifi adapter but that is not something one would want to do when you buy a brand new Lenovo laptop. This was a big let down for me.

You need to force quit Safari, but hitting Command-option-esc, and force quit Safari. -
I am not able to turn off voice over. I have tried to do settings -> General -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver and then triple clicked it but the VoiceOver won't turn off. What can I do? I have even tried to reset the machine keeping the data, no use.
A few people have reported problems with the hand gestures since IOS 8. It's not normal, I have don't have the problem on my iPad 4. I doubt it's a major problem but if it happens regularly I'd have it checked out by the Genius bar at the Apple Store.

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

TS3274 The safari browser shuts down midway. What do I do ?
When I tried to open an airline's website, the safari browser shut down midway and I was redirected to the iPad home screen. I cleared the cache,cookies,history and tried whatever I could. The internet security settings in my iPad are liberal, allowing cookies,javascript is enabled,etc. I referred the iPad trouble shooting guide, but that didn't help either. What do I do ?
As well as clearing the cache and cookies you could also try closing Safari completely and seeing if it works properly you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Another option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Went to Crossings Book Club website while there something popped up about the certificate for the website, i was going to copy it and send an email to the website to ask about the certificate. I got my cursor just inside the pop up and the whole computer shut down.If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

That is all, no more details possible. I tried also uninstall Firefox and install the newest version again, but it did not help. I even have to stop Firefox with the Taskmanager.
As a result I am noew using Google Chrome (and that is not a good solution I think).
So it is not a normal crash and I do not have an ID.
The previous version worked well with me.You might consider connecting it to the charger and charging up the battery overnight.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Message when opening a pdf cannot find HelveticaNeue-Roman. What can I do?
I'm getting a message when openign a pdf in Adobe Reader X that says cannont find HelveticaNeue-Roman. The document opens but is not easy to read. I think this started after an upgrade late last year. How do I correct this?
If the PDF file was created using that typeface but the font data wasn't embedded, then you will get the warning prompt and Reader will substitute in another font for display (probably regular Helvetica, which is very close)
You can only fix this in two ways - get a PDF with the font embedded, or install it on your own computer so Reader doesn't have to substitute. -
Abode closes automatically when opening a file and shuts down Safari too.
I just updated to 8.1.2 and unfortunately deleted my older version that worked. Now when I open a PDF file, Adobe remains open for a moment and then shuts down the document and Safari. The download seemed to go ok.

For the last three days, when I press my mail icon, it loads the blank template then closes after about ten seconds. I've tried to close and reopen it, have shut down and restarted the iPad and have reset it, but nothing has worked. I tried to use the Apple online support but was told I would have to pay £25!
