PSE11 error unpacking after download

Hi,
I just purchased a download copy of Photoshop Elements 11. I installed the download manager, downloaded the product and then it says it has to extract files. This ends up in an error message saying that it could not extract all files and I need to check disk space and rights. But there is more than enough free space and it does not matter which folder or harddisk I choose. I even tried with admin right, but same result. In the folder with the extracted files is a setup.exe which does not do a thing. Trying to start the Adobe Photoshop Elements 11.msi results in an other error saying that it isn't a windows installer. And yes, I did purchase and download the windows version. What can I do?

I would suggest you try downloading again, but from a different source. Use the link below to download the free trial (it’s identical to the full product) and if you get it installed successfully simply validate it with your product serial number and it becomes permanent.

Temporarily disable your firewall and security software and see if that helps.

error 1015 usually means you have a jailbroken devices, which per the term of use of the forum, you can't get any help here.

Receive continual error messages after downloading Adobe Acrobat Pro; cannot open

I had downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro as a trial and it worked just fine. Just purchased it/upgraded as a subscription last week and I receive a "download completed successfully" message, but when trying to open, get an error message saying the program closed unexpectedly. I received an email from Sara Forsberg at Acrobat.com telling me to wait until my order was complete, and after a week it should certainly be complete by now - still same error message. Very frustrating given the cost of the program and that it is 100% useless so far. Need actual customer service at this point please.

Error code after downloading album

i downloaded the new Evanescence cd and after it started downloading all i got was error code's for every song except for the interactive booklet and the interview that came with the album download. i have been charged the $10.99 for something that i do not have!!!!! How do i get my refund!?!?!?!?!?!

i looked into the "purchased" tab and none of the songs appear in there, not even the error codes. my bill shows $9.99 for something i never got.

Error 6 after downloading & installing 4.3.4 update for 3GS

Hello,
I'm running Windows 7, the latest iTunes and have an iPhone 3GS.
I downloaded the new 4.3.4 update for my phone and after installation my iPhone went into recovery mode. This is something that has happened in the past after updates and my phone has always restored without problems and the back up has kicked in fine. However, when I tried to recover it this time my phone seems to reach around 80% of recovery then it switches off and an "Error 6" dialogue box pops up on my iTunes.
It keeps happening and so my iPhone is now stuck in recovery mode.
I got really confused by the instructions on the support article on the Apple site. Am I right in thinking it's something to do with security? I've seen some people say it's to do with firewalls and anti-virus software...
Any help at all would be appreciated, feeling a bit stranded without my phone. Crazy how much I rely on it!

Thanks for the advice, sadly it didn't work. I disabled my AVG and Zone Alarm but it still came up with the error. I've even tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes but still had no luck.
What d'you think the problem with the Registry could be?

Pdf email attachments - error msg after download "not decoding" - creating DWORD key did NOT work!

I went to REGEDIT and installed the DWORD key as suggested by ADOBE to fix problem created by security update & it did NOT work!! Attempting to save then open the files gives same error msg. I sent multiple emails from a book scanner at the library with pdf files in quick and searchable formats & neither will open! Someone else that I forwarded the email to was able to open with no problem & he is running version 10. There is no option to load earlier versions!!!! I am running version 11 on Windows XP.

I scanned hundreds of pages using a book scanner @ the law library - the USB port was not working so I had to choose the send by email attachment option. Received 30 emails & NONE (so far) of the pdf attachments will open - the error msg states "Reader could not open "doc" because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." I forwarded 2 emails to someone else running version 10 - he had no prob opening from email (I have version 11 & then I also reinstalled 9.5 & STILL getting the same error msg)! Used someone elses's computer who is running version 10 & same error msg. Each time I try a fix I then go to a 'new' unopened email & attempt to open an attachment that hasn't been previously downloaded. Adobe supposedly has a fix - from Regedit - create DWORD key @ HKCU/Adobe/Reader/11/AV General "bValidateBytesBeforeHeader" - I did that & restarted computer each time I installed etc - still NO solution! So unless you have another idea I have a THIRD 6 hour roundtrip to the Law Library in KC in my near future!

I loaded Quickbooks 2008 Monday and Flash hasn't been the
same. I get the "must download" error and when I download and check
for the program in "Add or Remove", the Flash icon has a little red
"X" over the upper right hand corner.
The Flash works for YouTube but I can't run the Quickbooks
tutorial; I keep getting the download error.
I've deleted and reinstalled several times, changed security
settings...

Have downloaded three times. Each time download completes and receive generic "error message". Appears download won't run. Have 4gb memory and plenty of hard drive space. Running OS Lion.
