PSE13 editor not loading

Desperately need help. I have downloaded PSE13, and when I try to run the editor it displays that it it loading, but it never does! What to do?

Please give this a try:
Try to rename SLCache to Slcache.old present at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
and
SLStore to Slstore.old present at
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 13 icon and run as administrator.

Adobe 5.0 editor not loading

We have been using Adobe Photoshop 5.0 for a while. Suddenly I can't open the editor. I get a pop up that says "COuld not load the FastCore Routines module because the file could not be found" or one that says "could not load the MMXCore Routines module because the file could not be found" or "COuld not load the Multiprocessor support module because the file could not be found". I have tried reloading the program. It will open in the organize and view mode but not the edit.

You may need to find a system restore point; to a date when it was last working, unless you can identify the conflict with recent updates.
It’s almost certainly a system issue rather than an Adobe issue.

[Solved] Menu Editor not loading.

I installed py solitaire, it didn't show up in the list. I tried to open up the menu editor, and that will not load either. I have fam and alacarte installed, and I am not sure what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: alacarte will not run as a normal user, only as root. Is this normal?

Ok I ran menu editor from the terminal and I got this message:

BC IN-Browser Editor not loading pages for editing.

Hi,
From Bc admin I click the edit button to open in browser editing.
The editor opens and the index page loads and is editable.
When I click the link to the about page (example) or any other page the page loads fine but none of the editable regions are visible.
If I look in my browser address bar I see that although I am viewing the about page the address is still showing the index page. If I manually update this to about.html the browser then navigates to the about page and I am able to use the in browser editing options.
I have another site in BC whiere the in browser editing works fine, each page is editable from clicking the menu link. So I feel this is an issue parculiar to this site but I cant see the difference between the two sites that could be causing the one to have this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not using muse on the sites I mentioned though I have used it on another site and am not experiencing any issues with the In-Browser editing.
The issue is as mentioned in the thread you pointed me to, the browser address remains the same from page to page but if I update it manually I can then edit it.
I had read the thread but sadly there is no solution offered in it.

Photoshop Elements 13 Editor not loading

I have downloaded and installed Elements 13, and imported images into the organiser. When I try to load the editor, the message displays that it's loading, but does not go further than this.

Try the below
Navigate to the folder containing the TWAIN plug-in:
If you are using Mac OS:
Navigate in Finder to /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 8/Plug-Ins/ImportModules/.
If you are using a 32-bit edition of Windows:
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements [Version]\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins\Import-Export\ .
If you are using a 64-bit edition of Windows:
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements [Version]\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins\Import-Export\.
Note: If you don't know which edition of Windows you have, see Determine whether your computer is running a 32-bit or a 64-bit edition of Windows (kb407673).
Rename TWAIN.plugin to ~TWAIN.plugin (Mac OS) or rename Twain_32.8BA to~Twain_32.8BA. (In Windows, it's possible the file doesn't have the filename extension .8BA.)

Try making separate desktop icons for the Editor and Organizer. You can then launch directly. The standard desktop icon is for the welcome screen which often runs in the background or doesn’t shut down properly.
Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select:
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13
Inside the Photoshop Elements 13 folder make sure you select the application (not a shortcut) by scrolling down to the files beginning with the letter P and highlighting ‘PhotoshopElementsEditor’
Then click next followed by finish.
You can repeat for the Organizer using the different file path.
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 13 Organizer
Highlight ‘PhotoshopElementsOrganizer’
Then click next, followed by finish.
Now that you have your separate desktop icons you can delete the one for the welcome screen, if preferred. On Mac try launching directly from Applications. [if not using PSE13 substitute your own version and go to Program Files (x86)]

Elements 8 Organiser will not load Photoshop as External Editor

For some years I've succesfully used Photoshop CS2 with Elements (various versions) Organiser as my photo file manager. The Organiser allowed me to select Photoshop as the external editor and subsequently accepted/managed the edited photos from Photoshop when I closed the file there. (I prefer the facilities of Organiser to those of Bridge; and other folk in the household prefer Elements Editor).
I recently upgraded from Photoshop CS2 to CS5 64bit. Initially Elements 8 Organiser (which is 32bit) continued to call up Photoshop (CS5) as the external editor but has now ceased to do so. There is still an option in Organiser's dropdown EDIT list to "Edit in Photoshop" and any thumbnails selected in the Organiser get the "being edited" label applied if I select the "Edit with Photoshop" option. However, Photoshop does not open; or, if I have Photoshop open already, the photos selected in Organiser do not appear in the Photoshop workspace for editing.
I cannot, either, find the "close external edit" option in Organiser. When I eventually close Organiser, it warns that I will lose any editing done with the external editor to those photos it thinks it has handed to Photoshop, even though there has not been any handover in fact.
I can chose, in Organiser, to edit the very same photos with Elements Editor, even though Organiser appears to think that they are currently being edited by Photoshop. If I do edit such a photo in Elements Editor then close it, the Organiser becomes happy and forgets it thought Photoshop was involved at all.
Is there some switch in a config file somewhere that I can throw to get the Organiser to actually call up Photoshop and hand it the file(s)? Or is this just an Adobe glitch? Any help or clues would be much appreciated.

I have tried to persuade Elements Organiser to reconsider Photoshop as an external editor by going to the "Editing" section of Elements Preferences dialogues and specifying Photoshop.exe. However, no matter which version of Photoshop.exe I point at (64bit CS5, 32bit CS5 or even the old 32bit CS2) Elements tells me that it automatically already has Photoshop as an external editor and I don't need to specify it as such.
On trying to exit the Preferences/Editing dialogue, Elements then pops up another dialogue box that tells me that "The path you chose for the external editing application is invalid. Please correct the path or choose another external editor". I need to uncheck the "Use a supplementary editing application" to stop this box re-popping.
The Elements EDIT drop down menu still shows Photoshop as an available editing application. However, as described in the original post, Photoshop does not load or pick up any file specified for Photoshop editing within Elements Organiser.
I've also tried resetting Elements Organiser Preferences to their default. This does not make any difference to the problem either. There is an Organiser glitch I think. I am begining to think it will need a Registry fix ..... but of what I have no real idea; and it isn't a good idea to mess with the Registry in a haphazard way.
Perhaps I should try a reload of Elements from scratch, after saving my Catalogue file somewhere safe?

NYT Editor's Choice app not loading

I just got my iPad and everything is working fine except the NYT Editor's Choice app will not load. I try to open the app and it just says loading and doesn't do anything. I have tried reinstalling the app numerous times but that hasn't worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try it again. I just did and it loaded fairly quickly. All of these ( USA Today, etc. ) have issues from time to time. If it still doesn't work for you delete the app and then redownload it. By the way I really enjoy the app as well.

Elements 13 Editor will not load.

I've had Elements 13 since November, with no problems until now. Organizer opens as normal, but Editor will not load at all. What do I need to correct this?

Have just reinstalled PE12. Trying to access Editor - asks for ADOBE ID which I enter but program does not load.

Had problems with having the serial number acknowledged by the Photoshop Elements 12 (Organiser worked fine but Editor wouldn't open).
Chat support suggested I delete and reinstall program from an Adobe website download link. Have done that and now have slightly different problem.
Organiser still works fine but Editor asks for ADOBE ID which I enter but editor program does not load.
ADOBE website clearly confirms the product is registered against my ID.
Chat support now saying that they no longer provide support for PE12 Editor - only 13!
This is in direct conflict with the support advertised in the product's "Getting Started" brochure.
Only purchased PE 12 a couple of months ago (just prior to PE13 release) - find that this is pretty poor service.

I just uninstalled PSE 12 through control panel and yet in Windows Explorer I see it listed under the Program Files (x86)/Adobe. Photoshop Elements 8.0 is also in that directory. I have been trying to uninstall PSE 8 but keep getting error 1316. To further complicate the situation when I tried to reinstall PSE 12 yesterday I got a message that I needed to create a new folder. So I have Program Files (x86)/Elements 12 Organizer now even though I just uninstalled PSE 12.
I am so confused and frustrated! I have wasted 3 days trying to resolve this. PSE 12 was working great until a few days ago. I do have a backup of my catalog on an external hard drive. I just need to talk to someone on the phone or a live chat.

Start the editor from its .exe or application file or from the button in the organizer, while holding ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift on a mac).
Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

PSE13 editor will not launch (windows 7)

I have seen other posts like this one but have not gotten any answer form the forum people.
I just tried chatting with adobe people three times and the last time they took over my computer and did some tinkering and then kicked me off the chat. Still doesn't work.
I have tried renaming files, I have tried getting updated application manager, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have updated windows fully...nothing has helped.
Does anyone know how to get my PSE13 editor to launch?

Ecore diagram editor does not load when I click the (aird) file

When I click on an aird file , which I created for the first time to graphically edit an ecore diagram, the diagram editor does not load, but instead, Eclipse opens the aird file as xml in a text editor! Why this is happening? and how can I solve this? any thoughts?
I am using Eclipse 4.4.2. in mac.

This might happen depending on the perspective you are using, please try with the "Modeling" perspective.
You should be able to load the .aird using right-click=>open and then see the corresponding diagrams as childs of the .aird file.
