You may try the following steps but if it still fails with same errors then your installer might be corrupt -
1) Uninstall the incomplete installation (Uninstall shortcut can be found at /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/)
2) Ensure no such file or directory is present after un-installation "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/9.0/Photo Creations/frames/Element_Panoramic Frame.psd". In case it is present rename/delete it.
3) Reboot the machine
4) Copy the installer locally to your machine (if running from disc) and try to install again

In commandline, the command "installer -pkg install.pkg -target /" does work in installing pkg released by Apple. But it does not work in installing pkg released by adobe, such as "Adobe Reader XXX.pkg".

PSE9 for MAC: editing an element changes timestamp in organizer

Usining PSE9 for MAC, with OSX 10.6.8
Choosing option "Edit with Photoshop Elements" for a photo in organizer, the time stamp is moved back by 1 hours (even before the editor starts).
Any suggestion for avoid this problem?

Everything you do to the audio in GB is an instruction - effects and edits show in the display and are heard in playback but the original is left untouched (so you can always undo anything). Only when you export are effects and edits applied permanently to the resultant file.

New Desktop Manager for Mac - backup fails

Each time I try to back up my Curve to my Mac, it fails when backing up "RMS Databases". I have to shutdown the Curve and restart it after each attempt. I'm currently running version 4.5.0.160 (I see there is a newer version, but can't install till I get a good backup).
Has anyone got it to back up a Curve?

Hm.. that is weird. I can backup my "RMS Databases" on my Bold, when I click on Backup, and then choose "Selected data", and check only "RMS Databases".. I'm not sure what that database is, but if it shows that it has 0 records, then you might not have to worry about it.
When you do a full backup, does it say "Backup data completed" though? It would say this at the bottom of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager window.... if it did, then it probably means it backed up everything except that database.
You can confirm by doing a backup, and choose "Selected data", and then check all the databases, except for "RMS Databases"

Adobe Flash lost connection @ 30%. Mac install fails.

I am seeing this all over the forums with no one finding a solution. I have tried everything suggested either in Safari or Firefox including a clean install 3 times!! Even after uninstalling and deleting the flash files in the library, when I go to try downloading and installing it immediately starts at 30% and then I get the error message "Lost connection. Trying to connect...." then it hangs for a bit and then I get "Connection failed. Unable to complete installation." I go to their support link when the install fails but the link that they suggest to download from directly in the final step is "NOT FOUND". See here: Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac
This same link is showing up in several forums for a solution. I don't know what else to do. I'm posting this to add to the many many others with the same issue in hopes that Adobe will fix this! I am on a MAC OS 10.9.5. Never had this issue before with the flash updates!!!

Solution found on another thread. Download the offline installer here: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx. dmg
I downloaded and was able to install Flash properly. Make sure you do a clean install just to be sure.

Outlook for Mac 2011 Fails to Startup?

Running MBPR 13" with OSX ML 10.8.3 and Office for Mac 2011 14.3.2
I do not often restart my MBP, so after a couple of weeks of trouble free operation I updated OSX and allowed the ritual restart. Upon completion, Outlook for Mac failed to restart. In the interevening period I had installed various pieces of SW including Citrix (Receiver and GTM), 4G telco utilities and Skype. In trying to troubleshoot potential background competing processes, I followed the steps outlined below including an uninstall of all apps listed above:

I've had no success yet and wonder if anyone has any suggestions about known problems with Outlook for Mac competing or conflicting with other APps or Aple background processes?

The post from "Edil" was what fixed the problem, as follows:
"What did work for me is rebuilding my Office identity using the Microsoft Database Utility (found in Applications->Microsoft Office 2011->Office folder). It will create a backup of the existing Main Identity and rebuilds it and becomes your new Main Identity. Haven't encountered the problem so far since then."
Not sure of root cause, but it's fixed so I shall disappear (for now)...

Adobe Photoshop CS5 for Mac install problem.

I just purchased Adobe Photoshop CS 5 for Mac and installed it on December 17, 2013. Last week I updated to a new harddrive. I am trying to re-install Photoshop and the disc asks all the usual questions: serial number, Adobe ID, Adobe Password, then the disk kicks out and says done. I open the applications folder and the Adobe Photoshop folder only has one file with 30 KB. Obviously, Photoshop will not open.

I was concerned that Adobe Photoshop CS6 would require me to update my computer to Mac OS 10.8. I updated from Mac OS 10.6.8 to 10.7.5 and lost my old InDesign and my old Photoshop. I purchased InDesign CS6. I read online that Photoshop CS6 was having problems with Mac OS 10.7.5 so I went with Photoshop CS5. I went to Best Buy and Simply Mac to try and purchase the program. They both told me to just go online and buy it. Nobody said go directly to Adobe. The problem is that I am just a homeowner that is not in the know about all these products. My wife is a school teacher and I could have purchased an education version. I thought, no I will just go ahead and purchase the full retail version.
The problem with Adobe is they think everyone is a computer geek and knows all about operating systems and programs. I am just a normal homeowner that is being taken advantage of by Adobe. Adobe manufactured and sold this product to a retail dealer. The product I purchased has never been licensed and I paid full retail for it. Now Adobe will not stand behind it!

Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for mac install

I purchased Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for mac off ebay, but when I try to install it I get a message that says the old style install is not supported. I am using an iMac Intel with Lion installed. Any suggestions?

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 installed and it is working in Lion; however..... I installed mine while still running Snow Leopard. I mention this because it could be a problem with the Adobe Installer being a PPC application, while the actual application is Universal (I checked that and it is universal).
I had this same thing happen with my Final Cut Express - the installer would refuse to run, but I managed to copy all the files and application and move it over to Lion and the application runs just fine.
I don't know if yours is the same problem, but thought I'd offer this in case - did you get a warning that PPC applications do not work in Lion? If so, as long as you have a Mac with Snow Leopard, you might be able install it there and then to migrate it over (not sure though because Adobe places files everywhere and you'd have to copy them all).

Look for this file or folder on your machine:
"<Macintosh HD>/Library/Fonts/MyriadWebPro-Italic.ttf"
Is there a folder named MyriadWebPro-Italic inside the Fonts folder? Is the file MyriadWebPro-Italic.ttf already existing within this folder?
In both the cases, delete this file/folder and try to install PSE again.

Photoshop elements4.0 for MAC, install stops -- help!

I have photoshop elements4.0 for MAC, when I install on my MacBook Pro OS 10.9 it gets almost to the end of the installation then stops. Is there a fix for this?

PSE 4 stopped working in OS X many versions ago. You need at least PSE 6 for 10.9.

Elements 6 for Mac Install Issue on Leopard 10.5.5

I'm trying to install a trial version of Elements 6 for Mac in Leopard 10.5.5. The installer looking for Adobe Soundbooth CS3 halfway though disk 3. What's up with that? I hadn't wanted Soundbooth.

Elements has never had guides, although you can get free guides as part of the toolsets from Grant Dixon or Richard Grant. However, in PSE 6/7 they aren't movable once positioned. Also, there are a couple of video formats that include guides to the safe viewable area. And if you get a PS file with guides, PSE will display them if you got to View>Show Guides.
If this is an Epson scanner, it most likely relies on the Adobe TWAIN driver for scanning, not on a plug-in. You will probably have to scan outside PSE then import the scan--it's just a glitch with Epsons. You have checked in File>Import in PSE for your scanner, and you have checked Epson's website to be sure you have the most up to date driver?

Acrobat pro 9 for mac install media

I need to download a replacement installer for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac. I have checked and the site is saying that I can get it for windows. by not for Mac.
Is it possible to get an install package? I have my serial number.

I;m using word for mac and recently the programme kep on crashing and i was not able to autosave my work. ive tried varifying my disc and it still not working. Can i remove and reinstall my mac office. Would it effect my office document that is already saved in my notebook.

Which version of Office are you running? If you want to remove and reinstall, follow the remval instructions here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2398768?wa=wsignin1.0. Although I expect removing Office isn't going to fix your problem... which version of Office 2011 are you running? There was an update earlier this week for version 14.2.5 - are you sure that you're running the latest version?
I would first make certain that you're running the latest version before you do something as drastic as uninstalling and reinstalling. You might want to take your problem to the Word for Mac user forum - here. Let the community know the problems that you're having and see if there are any solutions that the Word experts may have before doing an uninstall and reinstall.

The .zip download is fine.
The installer runs but stops half way through (during "running scripts") and gives the error message in the pic below

Since you did not download from Adobe, I don't think Adobe can help
When I clicked the link you provided, it LOOKS like your school has created custom install packages... so check there
