PSE9 Not opening on iMac

I just got an iMac and installed PSE9. It WAS working fine, it is registered already, and suddenly today the welcome screen comes up and it will let me open the organizer, but not edit. I tried to open a picture using the right click 'open with' and selected PSE9, but that didn't work either. Heeeelllllp!!!

I wish I knew how to do the screen print. When I look in my applications folder I can scroll down to a
blue 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 9'
Then the Very next choice is 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 9'
Then it goes into the 'Assets' folder just like yours does on the screen.
It looks like I'm missing the folder that is blue with only 'Adobe Photoshop Elements' without the 9 that you have circled in Red. That one is not there.
Maybe it would be smart to uninstall and reinstall?

If you don't have another browser, you may have to use email to follow these instructions.

Step 1

Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report — they're very long and not helpful.

Itunes will not open my iMac

I have a 2 year old imac which generally running just fine, however itunes will not open on my user profile, it just seems to get stuck in a loop. I've checked the other user profiles and its working fine on there.

None of the apps will open. If I attempt to open an app, the icon bounces up and down in the dock and then stops. I have to restart the computer and it will work for a short period of time and then the same problem occurs when I try to open a different app.

Lightroom 6 does not open on imac

Lightroom 6 was down loaded and appears in my imac appilication folder. However, it does not open. Do I have to uninstall Lightroom 5?

New iTunes not opening on iMac w OS10.6.8

tried to connect my iPhone 4 to my iMac and was told that I had to upgrade to the new iTunes ver. 11.11 since my iPhone is now running of ver. 7.0.2
My iMac is running OS ver 10.6.8 and when I looked for softawre updates iTunes was the only one that showed up. Ran the download program then restarted the computer. But now iTunes will not open.. Anyone else have this issue?.

issue resolved for the moment. Although the new version of iTunes was not starting on it's own with the iMac. It did start up once I conected my iPhone to the computer...

Firefox Window Will not Open on iMac

When, I open firefox the options menu loads in the tool bar at the top of the screen, but is grayed out. Also, the main window does not open. I can access some options from the tool bar, but the browser window never opens. See screenshot - http://screencast.com/t/suM5Sso7keZ

Have you tried Firefox safe mode? It could be an extension reponsible.
If not, you could try moving the profile to another location, such as the desktop and then starting up Firefox so that it has to make a new profile. See if that works. If so, it could be something in the profile that is damaged, such as the localstore.rdf file.

Please can somebodu tell me what to do , I have the Imac and the mail icon is there but will not let me open it .... mail will appear on the top line however it still stays as my home page on the screen .... plsssss help me ???

Dreamweaver CS6 does not open on iMac OSX 10.7.5 after running update.

Updated Creative Suite CS5 to CS6 the other day. Installed on two computers (27" iMac i7 Oct 2009, and 2008 MacBook Pro 15"), everything worked fine. Ran the updates that Adobe Application Manager said were available. Worked fine on my laptop, but kept getting errors on my iMac. I had to go into terminal and give the installer sudo permissions to get it to run on the iMac, but it finally went. After updating, Dreamweaver no longer opens on my iMac (still works fine on my old MacBook Pro). It only bounces once in the doc - no splash screen, no opportunity to report a crash. I deleted preferences and cache to no avail. I then uninstalled Dreamweaver (using the installer, with remove preferences checked) and reinstalled it without running the update - it still won't open.

Well, I always seem to come up with questions that stump the crowd and have to figure these things out for myself in the end, which I did.
I logged in as root user (any alternative administrator account would work), and succesfully opened dreamweaver. I then copied all the preferences and support files to the main hard drive, where I retrieved them when I logged back into my user account. I then transferred those files to their respective places in the Library and Dreamweaver is now working again.

QuickTime 7.6.3 will not open on iMac 10.6.2

I installed QT 7 from dvd install as instructed. Would not even open to a window, no error msg. Then I downloaded and installed 7.6.3 - it doesn't show in sys pref and opens to error box: QuickTime Player 7 quit unexpectedly - ignore report or reopen - a circular exercise coming back to the same error. I already paid for upgrade to QT Pro! How do I open QT 7.6.3 to put in registration key

what other troubleshooting?
Do you normally repair permissions following installations? Have you tried creating a secondary user account and seeing if it will open from there? I personally would simply attach a spare external drive and create a back-up startup drive and include QT 7.6.3 as part of the initial installation. If everything works booting from it, it is usually a pretty good indication that something is wrong with your main OS installation, QT installation, user account, software conflict(s), etc. and you can then decide how to proceed. I.e., by reducing the number of variables that may be contributing to your problem, it may become easier to pinpoint the actual source of the problem.

Premiere Pro 7.1 not opening on iMac running Mavericks

System Specs: OS X Version 10.9, 3.4 Ghz i7 iMac, 20GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB.
All Creative Cloud products updated to latest version.

Simply put, Premiere Pro CC will no longer run. When I try to open the app, I see the splashscreen and it starts to load plugins, etc. but then crashes before getting to the New Project window. I can't open via opening a project or directly opening the app.
I've attempted resetting preferences, uninstalling, CC Cleaner-ing, and reinstalling the app. I've repaired disk permissions, reset pram... basically every classic OS X "fix" I know of.
Any other ideas on how to get my machine up and running? Any thoughts on the culprit?
The only plugins I know of on this machine are Red Giant products (Colorista II and Denoiser), FilmConvert and FxFactory. All have been updated to most current versions.

Please go to mac hd>library>application support>adobe>common>plugins>7.0>mediacore and move all the plugins to the desktop and then empty the mediacore folder.

Install CD does not open on IMAC

Brand new Intuos4 Tablet, put in the install Cd, click on install and immediately get punted out with the message "application install quit unexpectedly", for some reason this does Not happen when i put the same Cd into my laptop, it runs like it should, i do not want it installed on the laptop, anybody have any suggestions!

Ipod does not open on imac, when I plug in to USB?

WHEN I PLUG MY IPOD TOUCH (4TH GEN 8GB 5.1.1) INTO MY IMAC (INTEL IMAC OS X 10.6.8) NOTHING HAPPENS. IT DOES'NT EVEN CHARGE. Instead of using the USB port on the keyboard try one of the USB ports on the back on your iMac.

Upgraded iTunes will not open on iMac

This morning I uploaded to iTunes 11.2.1
Now it won't open whatsoever.
I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1614 to download directly, but that link is going back to what I had - version 11.1
Can someone tell me where to get iTunes 11.2.1 - or even later?
I understand it will work if I download it and reinstall it, but I don't want to go backwards.

I can not open at my IMAC 5 the files saved at my PC . In Both PC and IMAC i am using CS6 . why is heppining this ?

The files are the same, regardless of platform.
So something went wrong in transferring the files.
