PSG Settlement KE338 Error Message in to Warning

We have not activated the COPA in transaction KEKE. but still we want to Enter settlement rule as PSG [Profitability Segment] in Internal Order Settlement and WBS Settlement.
While Entering PSG Settlement Rule we are receving an error message KE338 . I want to convert an error message in to warning

I dont know what configurations ou have made for PS WIP , i am not a expert on Project System WIP calculation area
. Try to reverse it to cost center/ Internal Order. Change your configurations accordingly
One thing you have to remember , if you have not activated COPA .. you cannot use profitability segment as cost object..

One way you set that message as a error message that control is there
Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents > Define Variable Messages
above path find the message and put the status as error message it will work fine

Error message #1051287. "WARNING - 1051287 - Essbase license will expire "

Hi Guys.
Would you happen to know if its possible for this message to be supressed? I have 130 users that access the database and I do not need this message popping up each time they log in.
This is the messgase : WARNING - 1051287 - Essbase license will expire on: 12/31/10.
I'm assuming its a server configuration that I need to change?

Hi,
I take it the users are not administrators, only administrators should see that message.
Another way to turn it off is in the add in option, global > Display messages > errors.

VR error message class, set as a warning message

How can we change an error message into a warning message.. In VF05, it requires either a payer or material.. Error message number VR436 (enter partner or material) .. How can we change this to a warning message instead of error?

if you want to get the details of Payer & Material, then use Tx:VF05N ( available in ECC 6.0 ).
if you are using lower version of ECC 6.0, then you can fetch all those details like payer & material by creating Query use tables VBRK & VBRP.
You can try ,Table:VRPMA - SD Index: Billing Items per Material,
But i dont think it will suffice your complete requirement though it has Payer & Material.

Warning to Error Message while creating Shopping cart

Hi,
How to make a warning message to error message while creating a SC against the Cost Center when the cost center is closed in SRM 4.0.
Currently we are running on SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 as back end and user are able to raise a SC and POs even the cost center is closed.We want to make it as error message and stop users to create a SC /PO against those closed Cost centers.

Hi Richy,
The cost centre which you have maintained is locked for postings. Try to change the cost center and the warning message should be gone.
If you still want to chnage the message from warning to error,you can do in SPRO-->img->SRM->SRM Server -> Cross app basic settings->message control -> Influence message ctl.
If an entry doesnt exist for this message in SPRO,make an entry in view BBPV_PDMSG (Tranx: SM30).

How to convert Warning Message to Error Message in Benefits Enrollment Annual Enrollment Screen.
Warning Message: No beneficiaries selected for plan XXXX.
As per my requriement, there is one warning message which is popping up when all the plans total donot count to 100 %. At that time we need to show a Error message instead of Warning Message. Now warning message is displayed.
Reason: Insurance plans require error message when beneficiaries donot total to 100%
My question is in which message class or in which Table these messages are maintained and how to modify it.

You cant use all methods to raise a error message
for example
Error_table of the method CHECK_DEPENDENTS of user exit PBEN0032 should
olny be used to raise configuration errors. Please use
CONSISTENCY_ERRORS to display any error message[move the content of
error_table to consistency_errors and clear the error_table inside the
method CHECK_DEPENDENTS].

Error messages when trying to make selection

Hi, I am new at Photoshop, I use CS6, and today I followed a tutorial on how to make a robot on a picture and at first everything went ok but when I was almost done and tried to make a selection with the lasso tool I all of a sudden got an error message that says "Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible." And when I press OK my selection is not there. I had no problem when I started the project but now it won't work.
And now I get this error messages everytime I try to make a selection and it doesn't matter if I use the pen, marque or whatever.
Anyone here who knows what I'm doing wrong?

Basically, what that warning message is telling you is that the "marching ants," will not be fully representative of your Selection.
Now, if you want to make a Selection, that includes 100% of the pixels, check the Lasso Options, to make sure that you do not have something like a large Feather, with a small Selection.

If not do this.
sudo rm /etc/postfix/aliases

Downloading iTunes 8.0 causes error message

I downloaded iTunes 8.0 and now I get an error message that reads:
"Warning! The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of install other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
I have tried repairing and removing and reinstalling itunes multiple times and the error still occurs. I also have not installed CD burning software anytime recently. The only CD burning software I have came with my computer and worked fine with the itunes prior to the download of itunes 8.0. Please help me solve this issue. Thanks.

I'm glad my computer isn't the only one. You are the first person on here that I've seen that has the EXACT same error message as I do. I've tried the same steps as you and also had no luck fixing the problem.
Also, yesterday I had all my music and stuff still, but I couldn't sync my iPod. This morning my entire library was no longer there. Not even in my "iTunes Music Library Folder".
I hate this!!! Let me know if you find a way to fix it. I can't think of anything else to try and I don't know how to get my music and movies back.

Error message : Vendor Communication language is for item 0000000002

Hi,
We are on EBP 4.0, SP11. Classic scenario.
When the requirement is in sourcing without a source assigned/prederred vendor and the buyer adds a source (in work area) and tries to transfer the requirement back to the worklist by holding the changes there is an error message "Vendor Communication language is for item 0000000001".
This is preventing the buyer from adding a source and holding the change. There seems to be nothing wrong with the vendor. Dont know why this message is flashed.
Can someone suggest what can be done.
If there is a way to change this error message to a warning, will it help? ow can this be done?

Character Shading Error Message

I use Pages merely to open Word documents. I bought the version which allows me to download iWorks to 4 family computers. It is v2.0.2 and I have no desire to upgrade to v3. From the beginning, and still today, I get an error message saying "Import warning Can't import character shading". I have no idea what "character shading" is and don't foresee wanting to learn about it any time soon.I would like to get rid of this message. Do I need to reinstall iWorks, or is there a "don't show this message again" option hidden somewhere? Thank you for your consideration, Wayne Loney

Word allows all sorts of "fancy" features that aren't available in Pages. Things like character shadows, animated paragraph borders, etc. are going to generate a warning when you open a Word document with them in Pages. The only way to avoid them would be to not to open them. The warnings are on a per-document basis & there isn't a preference setting to turn them off. That might be something worth asking the Pages team for.

Error message into warning message KO450

Hi,
There are unsettle RA value in project PAD-9114. Because of this unsettle RA value in the project we are not able to close the project and receiving error message like below:
1.There is still WIP for wbs
2.Balance of wbs is not zero.
There is still WIP for WBS PAD-9114
Message no. KO450
Diagnosis
The WIP for WBS PAD-9114 has not been cleared.
System Response
WBS PAD-9114 cannot be deleted.
Procedure
Calculate the WIP for WBS PAD-9114 so that it can be cleared. Then settle WBS PAD-9114, including the cleared WIP in the settlement.
How to change above error message into warning message so that it will allow us to close the project.

Error message when doing settlement for Internal order

Hi,
Can someone please help me to resolve the following error:
When trying to run settlement for an internal order, following error message is generated:
Item 001 Order xxxxx budget exceeded
Message no. BP603
Diagnosis
Budget was exceeded by xxxx amount in document item 001 Order xxxxxx.
Also following points may be relevant:
- System status ISBD for Internal Order is active
- There is no PR/PO for the order, direct invoice from FI is created through tcode FB50
- Availability control: Activation Type 1, Overall field ticked in customization
- Tolerance Limits: Availability control action .... Usage 85 % - Warning message, Usage 100 % - Error message

I have already tried drilling down the report S_ALR_87013019 , however following are the only things available from the report.
1. There is a year independent overall budget for the order of 92500 amt.
2. Actual in 2009 is 7870.41 and in 2010 is 77980.24. So the total actual amt is 85850.65 overall.
3. The available budget is 6649.35. i.e Over budget minus actual utililized amounts.
Since, in the report it shows that the budget is available then I am unable to figure out why does it give error for exceeding budget by amt 50100.65 at the time of settlement.

Error message - data master internal order settlement rule

Hi people,
I'm creating an internal order, and in the settlement rule, i'd like to put a message error when i make a distribuition over 100%. For example, i put 50% in a settlement receiver and 65% in another one, that makes 115%. The system shows a message, but it allows me to save. I need that shows an error message and don't allow me to save.
Anyone can help me?
The message that appears is this one:
Total = 115.00%, ( Set.Type PER / Version / Actual settlement ), period 002/2009
Message no. KD042
Diagnosis
You have entered distribution rules which settle 115.00% in total. This applies for settlement view ( Set.Type PER / Version / Actual settlement ) in period 002/2009.
When checking the percentage total, the system found one of the following errors:
The total percentage for the distribution rules is more than 100%
The total percentage for the distribution rules is less than 100% and this is a rule for full settlement.
The total percentage for the distribution rules is less than 100% and the 100% check is switched on in the settlement profile.
Procedure
You can ignore this message if you are settling by fixed amounts. The settlement then checks whether the settlement sender has been fully credited.
Otherwise, correct the percentages for view ( Set.Type PER / Version / Actual settlement ) to be able to settle exactly 100% in period 002/2009.
If these rules are not full settlement rules (settlement type GES), you can switch off the 100% check in the settlement profile. This procedure also suppresses the message in future.
Note
If you cannot find any fields where you can enter percentage values, this is probably because the settlement profile is configured to hide them. Switch on percentage settlement in the settlement profile, or use equivalence numbers for your rules, if the project profile allows this.

Below is the extract for the 100% Validation check. Please check the bold part. Even if you save the settlement rule with more than 100% at the time of settlement this will be errored.

Indicator controlling whether percentages in the settlement rules are checked by the system.
If you have defined percentage distribution rules for a particular settlement rule, the system checks the total percentage either when you save the settlement rule or if you use the percentage check function.
Use
If the indicator is set The system issues a warning
if the total is <> 100%.
If the indicator is not set The system issues a warning
if the total is > 100%.
In both cases, you can ignore the warning and save the settlement rule. However, to be able to run the settlement, you must first correct the settlement rule. The settlement run itself prevents you from settling more than 100%.
Note
The indicator only affects periodic settlement. In overall settlement, the percentage must always be 100%.
You can also use this indicator if you are not using percentages for settlement. If this is the case, you must activate the equivalence numbers. You then receive a warning that, even if you have entered settlement rules, none of the rules has received an equivalence number (other than zero).
