PST Capture Import errored: Complete with errors.

we did a migration from Exchange 2007 to 2010, we already have PST files and want to import them using PST Capture to the new Mailboxes in the new domain.
while importing we were faced with an error saying "Complete with errors, hresult e_fail has been returned from a call to a com component", in the IPM subtree.Any solution to address the problem?
thanks in advance.

Hi,
Please double check whether the .pst files imported successfully (ignore the error message first).
If there is anything corrupt, I suggest remove the request and re-import it for testing.
Since I am not familiar with the PST Capture Tool, I suggest asking Script Center for help to get a script to perform the .pst files importing. For your convenience:

  • Import Items Complete with Errors

    I keep getting "Import Items Complete with Errors ... 0 items have been imported into the project named 'Untitled Project (20).'  Aperture failed to import the 118 items listed below" ... then it lists all the image items I am attempting to import.
    I am importing directly from my Canon 7D ... as I have been able to do successfully for years without this issue.  Importing RAW files.
    My Library is stored on an external drive.  It's a passport with 1TB of storage, with 540 GB free.  I import directly to the external drive (I think that's the correct way to say what I do.  I don't load direclty into aperture, edit, and then move to the external ... if that makes sense).
    I have a MacBook Pro that's 3 years old and almost at storage capacity (only 10GB free out of 500GB).  It uses Mac OS X, version 10.7.5.
    I assume that my being almost out of storage is what's causing this issue.  But, thought I'd pose the problem here for help in remedying it.
    Would also love some ideas of how to work out this storage issue til the new Mac desktop comes out later this year.  I cannot figure out what's using all that storage.  Shows 380+GB used by "other."
    Many thanks!

    Yes, it may be a problem of not enough disk space. To check this, try if you can import the files, if you only try to import one file at a time. If a single file imports well, you need to free space.
    If not, it may be a problem of a corrupted library. Then try the Aperture Library First Aid Tools (Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library: Aperture 3 User Manual). But to run them, you will first need to free disk space as well.
    To find out, what is using the space on the internal drive, run Omni DiskSweeper.
    Kirby Krieger has posted a link here:  Re: Size of Library
    It will ist the items sorted by size, so you will see exactly, what is occupying the space.

    Pl suggest solution....

    Journal Import can be classified as With specific group Id, All Group Ids and no Group Id.
    Data from subledger will generally have group id. Try journal import run with selection criteria as "All Group ids". No group Id is used to import data without group id.

  • Import Items Completed with Errors

    I recently upgraded to Mac OSX 10.7.2 and Aperture 3.2. Since then I have been unable to import any new photos into Aperture. After reading the Aperture Discussions, I restarted Aperture while holding down the Alt and Command keys to run diagnostics. First I tried correcting permissions.
    Quit and restarted Aperture after it was finished, then tried Import again but got the same error on all photos.
    Quit Aperture again, then restarted while holding down Alt and Command keys. Ran the examine and repair database option this time. Quite and restarted Aperture, then tried a new Import. Same result, all photos rejected.
    Before I try rebuilding the database, is there anything else I need to look for that may be causing this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Update.
    I had been trying to Import from a flash drive (2GB) so I decided to first copy the photos to a folder on the desktop. I then restarted Aperture and was able to successfully import from the desktop folder. Then I tried to redo the Import from the flash drive. I quit and restarted Ajperture, plugged in the flash drive, did the Import and it worked just fine. However, when I tried to quit Aperture, it would not quit. Finally (after 5 minutes) I had to Force Quit it.
    I guess my original problem is resolved, but I would love to know why it happened at all.

  • Lost photos due to Image Capture Import Error

    Hi.. I lost my hundreds of precious photos taken during my vacation during the import process using Image Capture.
    I took hundreds of photos in my iphone 5s during my vacation. I came back and haven't started the iphone backup yet which was my first mistake.  I then used Image Capture in my MacBook Pro to transfer the photos from 5s camera roll to a folder in my macbook.  I checked the option "Delete After Import" which was my second mistake!
    During the transfer, it successfully transferred some of the photos but over half of them were not.  There was errors after the import process so those error out pictures were not found neither in my Macbook nor in my iphone.
    I tried different recovery tool to scan my iphone or my macbook but still no luck.  Can you one of you give me some help on this?  What else can be done to recover the lost picture.  A million million thanks to you all in advance!

    Same thing happened to me. I tried using iPhoto to back up over 8,000 photos. Unfortunately, I kept getting an error at around 3,000 and had to start over several times. After restarting my macbook, I was able to get further but after around 1,000 to go, the error popped up again! Hours! So I chose Image capture to get everything. I too selected 'delete after copying' to avoid having to delete 8k pics manually. After it was done, I was alerted that some photos could not be copied. When I checked the folder, only 4k pics were there! Where's the other 4k? On top of that, my phone which is over capacity still shows over capacity and has about 600 files with missing icons on them. Not sure what to do. Curious if a restoration of the phone will bring it all back.

  • Import Term Set with Greek character set

    I have been trying to import a Term Set, from a CSV file created using the standard template of SharePoint 2010, however only the first 10 terms get imported. As far as I know, there is no such limitation and the total number of terms in the Term Store
    is very small. The import procedure completes with no error message.
    Can anybody enlighten me as to why this is happening?
    This is a sample of the CSV I am using:
    "Term Set Name","Term Set Description","LCID","Available for Tagging","Term Description","Level 1 Term"
    "ΜΟΑ - Δήμοι","Δήμοι Κύπρου.",,True,,"Αγγαστίνα"
    ,,,True,,"Αγγλισίδες"
    ,,,True,,"Αγγολέμι"
    ,,,True,,"Αγιά (Aγιά Κεπίρ)"
    etc.
    Note: The CSV file has been saved with UTF-8 encoding and the first 10 terms (that do get imported) correctly appear in the Term Store.

    Hi,
    From your description, I know you do not import all terms when you import a term set.
    To reproduce your issue, I copied the items in your issue to my environment, then imported them in to my SharePoint. All items had been imported in my SharePoint, but I found
    that default displaying items were the first 10 terms. The screenshot below is my result:
    Please click here to find your other terms.
     You can refer to this article:http://sharepointquester.com/2012/03/12/importing-term-sets-from-csv-in-sharepoint-2010/.

  • PST Capture to Office 365 fails with Import error : Error opening PST File

    Hello everybody
    I was dealing for more than a week to make it work this tool, Capture PST.}
    Already have all requirements: and tried to install in different environments like Server 2008r2 or Windows 8 (not 8.1)
    PST Capture Console is installed on the Domain Joined Machine.
    You have mentioned that the User Account (PST Capture Tool's Service Account) is a Local Administrator on the Machine running the Tool.
    You also have the Outlook 2010 X64 installed
    And you have created the outlook profile for that Service Account.
    Also not have any non-email items on my pst, is only a test PST with 2MB emails as a test.
    I came back from Office 365 forum and they said you are the best guys for this topic.

    Dear friend
    Finally make it work after 2 weeks of war. Is not a product that you can use in your production environment, because have several complains.
    Only works with PST which have Mail items (non calendars, or task, or contacts) and even you can not have a folder structure inside your Inbox, so it is not worth it.

  • PST Capture 2.0 - Import Errors - Unable to translate Unicode character

    Currently using the Office 365 service. I have installed both the PST Capture Console as well as the 64-bit Agent on to a Windows 7 64-bit laptop which has Office 2013 64-Bit installed.
    Scenario: A misconfigured retention policy in Office 365 accidentally deleted thousands of email messages from an employee's mailbox. We've obtained the .ost file and using a Third Party tool have converted the OST to a PST file. I am able to add the file
    to my Outlook profile and see the recovered contents. Normally I would just copy the contents of the PST file back to the mailbox but it randomly errors out during the copy process forcing me to start over. The PST is roughly 8.5 GB.
    I setup the PST Capture tool to try and migrate the PST contents back to the mailbox. I am able to locate the PST and import it to the mailbox in question but when the import has completed, it says "Complete with errors". Reviewing the Message
    Alerts tab, it has 70,314 errors (pretty much every email). The error is difficult to understand but it is the same for each item:
    "Unable to translate Unicode character \uDC47 at index 6 to specified code range"
    Looking for any suggestions/advice on maybe what to look at.
    Thank you all!

    I went to Shared Components -> Static Files -> Create
    I have split my exported application file, creating various size files for testing, ranging from 380 Kb to 1638 Kb (halves, quarters, eighths). Sometimes I can upload; sometimes I can't. Typically I can upload several. But once I get the error, it's fairly consistent in failing but not 100%. At least once, I've uploaded all four quarters of the file plus an additional half of the original (4 eighths, all different). But I can't find the pattern of failure. The most consistency I see is once it starts failing, I can almost always get it to be successful again if I click around APEX and come back to uploading.
    I've tried to upload one half of the file. That failed except for the first few times I tried to do it. It always failed when I tried to upload a second half of the file. That's why I continued dividing the file into smaller pieces. I thought maybe there was something inherent in the file causing the problem. But since I have subsequently load all four quarters, I guess that can't be it.
    I've also deleted files at various times throughout. Sometimes I can upload and sometimes I can't after that. And again, often I can get back into "Success" mode by clicking around the interface and then returning to upload files.
    Thank you,
    -J

  • PST Capture error when trying to import .PST files

    I am currently migrating mailboxes from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 on prem.  I have installed PST Capture 2.0 and 64-bit Outlook 2013 on a Windows 2008 R2 machine and have installed the PST Capture 2.0 agent on a workstation that has some .pst files
    on it.  PST Capture finds all the .pst files on the workstation, but when I use PST Capture to try to import PST files into a mailbox on Exchange 2013, I get the error "Import error: Error opening mailbox [email protected]".
    I created a userID with a mailbox to run PST Capture.  Based on the instructions at
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh781035%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx I have made that user a member of the groups that are assigned the Public Folder Management role, the Mailbox Import Export role and the Organizational Management role.  The
    user is also a local admin on the machine running the PST Capture console.  While the error sounds like a permissions issue, these are the only permissions I could find documented for PST Capture.  I am starting PST Capture with "Run as administrator"
    Any ideas why this isn't working?  Are there any other permissions that the PST Capture user needs?  Is there anything else I need to do?
    Thank you very much for your help.

    Generally PST capture tool allows you to search for PST files & import these PST files
    to the mailboxes but as your account is not getting connected, so you need to check settings of your PST Capture tool :
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh781032(v=exchg.141).aspx
    If this solution does not work out for you, then I would advise you to use any professional
    tool for exchange migration like CodeTwo , Stellar. From my personal experience, I would recommend you to go for Stellar Mailbox Extractor for Exchange Server as it migrated my mailboxes to another Exchange Server in quick time.

  • Item Import - completes with " Completed Error" status and process_flag=4

    RDBMS : 9.2.0.5.0
    Oracle Applications : 11.5.10
    Populated data into mtl_system_items_interface with process_flag = 1.
    Once I run the "Item Import" program it completes with error, with the following in the log file.
    The records are updated with process_flag = 4. but there are no error details in mtl_interface_errors for those corresponding records in the interface table.

  • XML import issue in Primavera P6: "Process completed with errors."

    When trying to import a small XML file (from MS Project 2010) to P6 server via P6 V7 CITRIX client, then I receive the message "Process completed with errors. See log file for details.".
    But the log files are fine (no error, no warning, final validation status in log file is "successful").
    And no additional project shows up in the EPS.
    // Permissions checked. They are sufficient.
    // File is valid (importable by two other users to the same P6 server: one with local P6 V7 client, one via CITRIX P6 V7 client).
    // I used the same import template as the other two other users.
    // XML contains two tasks only.
    // No resources and no empty rows are in the MPP file, where the XML is created from.
    Does anyone know what to do upon this message, or where the "errors" can be seen (what is neither in the import log files, nor in the PrimaveraLogs folder (P6WebAccess.html), nor in detailed P6 application logfile (I had this activated, but it showed only called features without status, errors or warnings)).
    I highly appreciate any idea! ...

    Hello Rsandilands1
    I just read your query and I am very curious if you did find the right solution? It seems that I am having the same sort of problem.

    Hello,
    I have exactly the same issue as you have.
    as I checked in the sybase database, actually the index SKAT~001 already exists.
    if I run sql statement CREATE INDEX [SKAT~001] ON "SKAT" ("MANDT","SPRAS","MCOD1") with consumers = 3, via Toad or any other tools, it says the index already there.
    So i think this error could be ignored, just set ok instead of err in file SAPAPPL0_17.TSK
    I SKAT~001 C ok
    and then retry to continue the installation steps, it works well.
    best regards,

  • Data pump import error with nested tables

    So the problem is somewhat long :)
    Actually the problems are two - why and how oracle are treating OO concept and why data pump doesn't work?
    So scenario for the 1st one:
    1) there is object type h1 and table of h1
    2) there is unrelated object type row_text and table of row_text
    3) there is object type h2 under h1 with attribute as table of row_text
    4) there is table tab1 with column b with data type as table of h1. Of course column b is stored as nested table.
    So how do you think - how many nested tables Oracle will create? The correct answer is 2. One explicitly defined and one hidden with system
    generated name for the type h2 which is under type h1. So the question is WHY? Why if I create an instance of supertype Oracle tries to adapt
    it for the subtype as well? Even more if I create another subtype h3 under h1 another hidden nested table appears.
    This was the first part.
    The second part is - if I do schema export and try to import it in another schema I got error saying that oracle failed to create storage table for
    nested table column b. So the second question is - if Oracle has created such a mess with hidden nested tables how to import/export to another
    schema?
    Ok and here is test case to demonstrate problems above:
    -- creating type h1 and table of it
    SQL> create or replace type h1 as object (a number)
      2  not final;
      3  /
    Type created.
    SQL> create or replace type tbl_h1 as table of h1;
      2  /
    Type created.
    -- creating type row_text and table of it
    SQL> create or replace type row_text as object (
      2    txt varchar2(100))
      3  not final;
      4  /
    Type created.
    SQL> create or replace type tbl_row_text as table of row_text;
      2  /
    Type created.
    -- creating type h2 as subtype of h1
    SQL> create or replace type h2 under h1 (some_texts tbl_row_text);
      2  /
    Type created.
    SQL> create table tab1 (a number, b tbl_h1)
      2  nested table b
      3  store as tab1_nested;
    Table created.
    -- so we have 2 nested tables now
    SQL> select table_name, parent_table_name, parent_table_column
      2  from user_nested_tables;
    TABLE_NAME                     PARENT_TABLE_NAME
    PARENT_TABLE_COLUMN
    SYSNTfsl/+pzu3+jgQAB/AQB27g==  TAB1_NESTED
    TREAT(SYS_NC_ROWINFO$ AS "GINTS"."H2")."SOME_TEXTS"
    TAB1_NESTED                    TAB1
    B
    -- another subtype of t1
    SQL> create or replace type h3 under h1 (some_texts tbl_row_text);
      2  /
    Type created.
    -- plus another nested table
    SQL> select table_name, parent_table_name, parent_table_column
      2  from user_nested_tables;
    TABLE_NAME                     PARENT_TABLE_NAME
    PARENT_TABLE_COLUMN
    SYSNTfsl/+pzu3+jgQAB/AQB27g==  TAB1_NESTED
    TREAT(SYS_NC_ROWINFO$ AS "GINTS"."H2")."SOME_TEXTS"
    SYSNTfsl/+pz03+jgQAB/AQB27g==  TAB1_NESTED
    TREAT(SYS_NC_ROWINFO$ AS "GINTS"."H3")."SOME_TEXTS"
    TAB1_NESTED                    TAB1
    B
    SQL> desc "SYSNTfsl/+pzu3+jgQAB/AQB27g=="
    Name                                      Null?    Type
    TXT                                                VARCHAR2(100)OK let it be and now I'm trying to export and import in another schema:
    [oracle@xxx]$ expdp gints/xxx@xxx directory=xxx dumpfile=gints.dmp logfile=gints.log
    Export: Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production on Thu Feb 4 22:32:48 2010

    Processing object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/STATISTICS/TABLE_STATISTICS
    . . exported "GINTS"."TAB1"                                  0 KB       0 rows
    . . exported "GINTS"."SYSNTfsl/+pz03+jgQAB/AQB27g=="         0 KB       0 rows

    Although it fails to create the table.

    Tom Kyte has said it repeatedly ... I will repeat it here for you.
    The fact that Oracle allows you to build object tables is not an indication that you should.
    Store your data relationally and build object_views on top of them.
    http://www.morganslibrary.org/reference/object_views.html
    If you model properly, and store properly, you don' have any issues.
