Hi,
I've got a centralized deployment with CCM6 and two sites. I used two H.323 gateways and set the PSTN access code to 9. I defined my route pattern and put my gateways in a route list. My problem is that I've got most of the calls from site B routed the site A gateway. I've thought of two access codes but what if i've got 100 sites to deal with.

Hello, I want to set up MyCloud without internet access to backup files from my Android device to a Windows laptop. I have no way to connect my router to the internet. It is just an in house network. I should explain what I'm trying to do. We have a small business where we create pdf copies of customer invoices throughout the day. Currently I upload the files using a cloud service which then syncs with my laptop at the office. Works great except the data charges are expensive. I thought that the Mycloud device could replace the online cloud service for this even though I would not be able to sync until back at my desk. So far I haven't figured out how to make this work very well. The Windows software seems clunky but I'm not sure how to access Mycloud without it. Android app won't work without access code but doesn't matter since I can access the drive with Astro File Manager and can sync with SyncMe if needed. I need to figure out a seamless method for syncing to the laptop. Hopefully this all makes better sense now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why did I receive a Viber access code when I never signed up for Viber?

why did I receive a Viber access code on my brand new iPhone 4S when I never signed up for Viber? In fact, when I received the sms, I used the search function on my iPhone to see where it could be hidden, and the only results where the two consecutive texts I received giving me identical access codes.

Error Code when synching Curve with Outlook 2007

I have had my Curve since November and have not had any problem synching. Last week when I tried to synch the following message showed up and would not let me finish the synch:
"Error encountered. Error code 0x8004fd28. Check documentation"

Access denied when remotely trying with Get-NlbClusterNode

When I locally, on the SMTP Cluster run this command:
Get-NlbClusterNode
I get the output I need.
But if I try the same from a remote server (same network and domain) I get an:

Why is that? It is ONLY the "Get-NlbClusterNODE" command that gives me access is denied. "Get-NlbCluster" for an example, works just fine.
I am connecting as a Domain Administrator (which is a member of the Local Administrators Group on every node). Same account used remotely when I log on locally, where it works locally.
Any advice?

Access denied when using IdentityXML with WebGate

Hello,
Here is our setup:
- COREid Identity 7.0.4,
- COREid Access 7.0.4,
- WebPass,
- WebGate,
- IIS 6 (hosting the identity application)
We enabled the default policies to protect the /identity URL.
We are using webservice calls (using C# with WSDL proxies) to query the identity server from other applications.
Prior to enabling the Access policies this was working fine, now we get an Access denied error message.
It looks like WebGate is blocking the IDXML calls.
Does anyone knows what is causing this problem and how to solve it ?
My first guess was to use the Access SDK to build an obSSOCookie and join it to the request, however the developper guide doesn't provide may examples on how to practically do this. Will it solve my problem ?

I eventually found a workaround for this problem.
Actually you don't need to provide an SSO cookie the first time you connect to the webgate server, you just need to provide basic credentials and the webgate will provide you an SSO cookie that you can use for the next call.
The problem is that this doesn't work out of the box with the .NET/WSDL framework for some reason (with Java + the HTTPClient library I had no problem).
I had to had manually the following headers to the HTTP request to make it work:
Authentication: Basic XXXXXXXX
Cookie: OBBasicAuth=fromDialog
Where XXXXXXXX is a base64 encoded string containing "login:password"

MTP check box when cme integrates with ccm

I am reading a document abour cme and ccm integration.The following step indicates that we need to check MTP.
Step 3 Ensure that the CiscoCallManager network uses a media termination point (MTP). The MTP is required to provide DSP resources for transcoding and for sending and receiving G.729 calls to the Cisco CME 3.1 system. All media streams between Cisco CallManager and Cisco CME 3.1 must pass through the MTP because Cisco CME 3.1 does not support transcoding.
Questions:
1. So it means that if I use g729 on the wan between cme and ccm, I must check this one?
2. If I don't need transcode, i can uncheck this box right?
3. I notice as soon as check the box, call transfer button not work on ccm phone. Is this a bug or supposed to be?

* Codecs on all the VoIP dial peers of the H.450 tandem gateway must be the same.
* Only one codec type is supported in the VoIP network at a time, and there are only two codec choices: G.711 (A-law or
mu-law) or G.729.
* Transcoding is not supported.
* Codec renegotiation is not supported. For example, if an H.323 call that uses a G.729 codec is received by a Cisco CME system and is forwarded to a voice-mail system that requires a G.711 codec, the codec cannot be renegotiated from G.729 to G.711.

Netflix : access code for instant watch

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I downloaded the Netflix app, and I am already a Netflix subscriber. To watch instantly, the IPAD asks for an access code and says my device will instruct me how to get that.. the IPAD? Or do I get the code from Netflix? What am I missing here? Thanks!!!

Wait, are you just trying to watch instant Netflix movies on your iPad, or are you trying to use your iPad to wirelessly watch Netflix movies on your TV?
The reason I'm asking is that Netflix ONLY asks for the access code when you set up your DVD/TV the first time for wireless viewing on your TV. To do that you must have the right device for wireless transmission (for example, I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray DVD and the special wireless receiver). You CAN'T use the iPad as the wireless receiver to do this.
If however, you are simply trying to view the movies on your iPad directly, all you need is your Netflix username and password. No access codes are needed.

am creating a sp timer job for a updating a list.when i write this code in a the event receiver featureactivated method, and when i activate this feature , am getting access denied error.
but, when i deploy this timer job [ without feature receiver] through powershell, it works.
i didnt run this feature receiver with runwithelevatedprivileges delegate - i think this wlll NOT solve the issue.
from one of the posts i seen that, current logedin user needs to be part of config database roles. i didnt understand this point. how can i add my current loge din user into the sp_config database roles? is it through SSMS 2012?
or
is there any way to achieve without feature event receiver?
otherwise i will be forced to write my business logic in a console appln and add this exe in a windows scheduler.!

Help please with access code to get into restrictions to delete apps.

I have an iPad 2. I recently upgraded to 7.0.4. The new system requires me to go to settings/general/restrictions to delete any apps I do not wish to keep. This worked fine at first, after the first system upgrade to 7.0. After the last update, 7.0.4, I find that when I go to restrictions it pops up and asks me for an access code. I only have one access code that I have ever used. It will not open with this passcode. He has locked me out 18 times and requires me to wait an hour to try again. My usual passcode works on everything else! I have tried to reset passcode, it does the same thing. I have searched and searched and the answers I'm finding are pretty drastic (like backup and reset everything...yikes!). What am I missing here?

Follow the instructions in iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 to restore the device to factory settings.
Once you have setup the device as a new one, you can then sync it back with your iTunes account and all your music, apps, contacts and any other content sync'ed with iTunes will be loaded on the device. Any content that is stored only on the device and not sync'ed with iTunes, like app logins or data, will be lost during this process. Be forewarned that this is a long process and can take a couple of hours or more to complete. This can be painful, but it is necessarily so to prevent users from working around the security settings. After the restore is complete, you can setup a new Restrictions passcode. Make a note of the passcode to avoid this situation in future.

Access denied for folder when permissions set with WMI

Hi,
When I add/modify access rights based on the Win32_ACE class, there seems to be a difference in the result, then when setting it with the GUI in Windows.
The situation is as follow:
I want to set Modify access on a remote folder, but also want to avoid deletion of the folder itself. This can easily be done by setting "deny delete on this folder only" in addition to "allow modify to this folder, files and subfolders".
So far no issue.
Now I notice that, although the GUI shows exactly the same result in advanced settings of the security property, the folder set with WMI script gives a deny when opening it with the user account. The same folder, set with the same security and result in
the advanced tab, but set in the GUI, works fine.
Note: The reason that I use WMI is because the remote system is a standalone machine, not sharing the same domain or trust.
I compared the ACEFlags, AceType and AccessMask for both the GUI set and script set permissions, and they are exactly the same.
GUI => AccessMask:1179817 AceType:0 iAceFlags:3
Script => AccessMask:1179817 AceType:0 iAceFlags:3
What a strange world we live in... :-)

What Operating System Interface are you referring? What program?
You are being obtuse. What is it that you are trying to compare. THe settings in WMI cannot be directly compared to anything in the Security Wizard.

Just the properties of the folder in Windows on the security tab. The result is the same for both the permissions set with the interface as well as the one set with the WMI script. The two references you see are just taken with WMI:
Set by Windows interface => AccessMask:1179817 AceType:0 iAceFlags:3
Set by WMI script => AccessMask:1179817 AceType:0 iAceFlags:3
This are the values "AceFlags", "AceType" and "AccessMask" from management class WIN32_ACE:

I just want to show that the actual ACE object returns the same values for both methods, but the effect appear to be that the script set permission are denied. And I am looking for the reason why.
Can you provide the script that you're using to create the ACE(s) and add them? If I'm understanding what you're trying to do, there should be two ACEs created: one to allow the modify access and one to deny the folder deletion. The ACE you're showing is just
an allow ACE (AceType 0).
That is correct there are (or should be) two ACEs. I cannot get hold on my source right now (will be later today), but my code is based on this source:

What I basically do is getting the DACL properties, loop through it to check that the user exists that I want to update. If it does I check that the current AceType is of the same type (allow or deny) that I am updating/adding. If that type is a match, I
replace the ACE object with the new Flag, Type and Mask using a Win32_ACE object. If type type doesn't match, then I add both the current ACE with the new ACE at the same time. I noticed that if I don't do it at the same time, only the last remains. If the
user doesn't match I check that the AceFlags is not equal to 16 (inherit) and then add the original ACE object in the ACE array. At the end I add the new ACE if the user was not found at all (new). The array of individual ACE objects is added to List of managementobjects
and then again linked to the DACL value.

I’m getting the below issue when I try to deploy a crystal report with Dynamic parameters in BI Launch Pad, when I deploy the same report with static parameters I can deploy and run it. I have Restarted the BI server, still the issue exitno use. kindly help me on this issue.
“This error occurred: Adding Crystal Report "CrystalReport1.rpt" failed. The server with kind rptappserver returned an error result. Failed to copy the report file to the report object. Refreshing the report object properties might have failed. Failed to read data from report file CrystalReport1. Reason: Failed to read parameter object”.

BO does not run dynamic params through the report as would happen without BusinessObjects (BO) or Crystal Reports Server (CRS). When you publish a report with dynamic parameters to BO/CRS, the prompt is published to the repository so that it can be accessed through the Business View Manager (which can be installed as part of the client tools). In order for this to work a couple of things need to happen:
1. You need to be sure that you check the "Update Repository" box on the Save As screen the first time you publish the report.
2. Your BO/CRS user needs to have "view" access to the Crystal2013ReportApplicationServer in the Servers section in the CMC - in fact, the Everyone group should be given view access to the server in order for dynamic prompts to work correctly.
3. In the Business View Manager, the Administrator user needs to give your user, or, even better, a Crystal Developers group full control access to the "Dynamic Cascading Prompts" folder.
Best practice for dynamic prompts in a BO/CRS environment is to actually create the prompts in the Business View Manager. This will allow you to create a single data connection that can be reused and also create lists of values such that the same list or prompt can be reused by multiple reports. If you just create the prompts in Crystal, you will end up with multiple data connections to the same database, the prompts will use the whole query for the reports to get the dynamic values instead of just a focused query to the lookup table that contains the values, and there ends up being lots of duplication and chaos.

Connecting to WiFi when there is no access code required

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with ICS. I'm still learning how to use it and have run into a problem with connecting to some wifi locations. When I connect to a wifi that requires an access code, I have no problem, but when I try to connect to a public wifi that does NOT require a code, I can't seem to make that work. How do I tell it that there is no code required?

I'm trying to import a VSS DB into TFS 2012 using the VSS Upgrade Wizard.
However, I'm getting an "Invalid access code (Bad parameter)" error when I click the "List Available Projects" link button.
I have been able to get the wizard going with a different VSS DB, but not this one.
How can I fix this and get the import going?
