PT50 Quota overview

Hello Friends.
Got an issue in absence quotas. An employee has an earned leave quota of 150 days of which 50 days are utilised, ie in infotype absence record for 50 days are created. now the balance of the quota is 100 days in abs qouta 2006. Due to some reasons the employee has cancelled his leave of 10 days by deleting his abs record of 10 days in infty 2001, so now in infty 2006 the balance quota is 110 days.
But if you check in PT50 Qouta overview, it is not giving the updated status of 110 days balance. instead its showing 100 days balance. I found that there is a report RPTKOK00 for correction of Quota overview, but now its showing an overview of 150 days in PT50. can anybody please give me the solution on this.

Hi,
Rerun time evalution for that employee and check. If still PT50 is not getting update delete the leave record and create it again. But do it it step by step and do it in Dev/Test sytem. If you get output then you can change it in Production system.

Hi All,
Please provide a solution for this below mentioned query.
Quota overview(Absence Entitlements) can be seen in the R/3 for an employee but same(Quota Overview), list of all the leave entitlements cannot be seen in the ESS. There is a message being displayed "There are no customizing settings for ongoing requests for employee No:****". What customizing settings is he talking about?

R u sure the Absence that is available in infotype 2006 is valid.Do try to create a fresh quota if you have changed the grouping in between,.

Development Component for Quota overview

Hello,
I have to modify the Quota Overview/Time Accounts service for ESS. I have imported the Development Configuration on Developer Workplace, but I am unable to find the DC for this service.

Modifying ESS code for Quota Overview service

Hello,
I want to modify the Quota Overview screen as:
Change the name of the Column header from Entitlement Type to Allotment.
When I create a project for the DC I see 3 Webdynpro components ,then I goto VCQuota ->Views->VcQuotaView ->Layout and change the header title there in the properties ,but when I test it in the local server ,it's not reflected.
What's the right way to do it.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Usually we define Dev and QA as runtime systems.
Check out files from DTR , edit , check-in and activate and finally release.
In DEV system we directly deploy , while in QA.. the released content will be import thru NWDI landscape configurations..
You can directly deploy your contents in your DEV system and use NWDI infrastructure for further transport across systems.
I have not seen this component code.. We can customize the fields to be visible from SPRO in the backend. It might be that these are made invisible.
Or the scenario you are currently working on ,might not necessarily need this..

Multiple entries for aleave type in quota overview in ESS

Hi all,
I am getting multiple records for some leave types in quota overview application in ESS.I mean when i open the quota overview app there are 2 records for emergency leave and 2 records for vacation leave with different values.
No HR person is aavailabale here.Can anybody help me please.

You can create a "Z" Service for Quota Overview using Define Services and then assign this is to the MSS
view.

Show columns in Quota overview iView

Hello,
We would like to show all columns in Quota Overview iView. We can see all columns in report RPTARQUIATEST in R/3.
But only 5 columns are displayed in the Webdynpro, but in the personalization (ctrl+clic) we can see 14 columns (the same as in in report RPTARQUIATEST) with all the properties visible=true.
Please, could you tell me where can I customize this columns from R/3 so as to be displayed in portal?

NW 2004S and ECC 6.0 - ESS Quota Overview does not simulate

Dear all,
we are upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and from the standalone ESS solution to the ESS in EP NW 2004s.
In the old ESS we used service pz09 which allows EE's to simulate their future absence quota.
In the new ESS in EP we are testing the application 'QuotaOverview' in packate sap.com/ess~quotas.
The simulation of future quota does not work at all.
Do you have any hints how to fix this problem?

this error is really strange. At this step, sapinst scans all keys that are located under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
in order to find existing SAP services and to retrieve their parameters. Since this usually happens in a sorted way, many other keys must have already been successfully retrieved.
My guess is now that there is a problem that is related just to the service that was processed in the current iteration: ltpsnr
-> call regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
-> locate the ltpsnr entry, is it actually there? If yes:
-> right click on the entry and chose 'permissions'
-> are the permissions here actually different compared to the other entries?

Configure ESS Salary Statement and Quota Overview

I am having problems in displaying ESS salary statement on portal (EP 7.0) .....this is the error :
Form SAP_PAYSLIP_US does not exist
I feel there is some configuration to be done for this....also how do I configure Time accounts in ESS....is creation of Rule groupd a necessity...?

just a small check, the z smartform name, have you created this through HRFORMS.
For example in HRFORMS, u have maintiend HRFORM name say, ZHR_TIME_IN. Now this shoud be activeted and check the details. Here it would be showing the zsmartform name and report name.
Also, in backend config spro, have u maintained this ZHR_TIME_IN for TESD, TESP,TMW etc..u can select the relevant class. please go thru the node config help on HRFOR feature. u will get sufficient information here

You can use the Quota Corrections infotype (2013) to influence how these accrual entitlements are generated and transferred from the table:
· You can increase, decrease, or replace an accrual entitlement (set to a fixed value).
· You can make the accrual entitlements available for deduction immediately in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006).
An employee has joined your company from another company. His or her contract has guaranteed a one-off entitlement of ten days of leave when the employee joins your company. You therefore want to increase the employees leave quota by 10 days. You want the entitlement to be immediately available in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006) so that the employee can take the ten days of leave.
Structure
You can only use the infotype to change absence quotas that are accrued in time evaluation. The changes are taken into account the next time that time evaluation is run. Time evaluation carries out a recalculation starting on the day for which you have entered the quota correction. You can view the results of the quota correction in the Quota Overview (transaction PT50).
Transfer time
The Absence Quotas infotype (2006) does not take account of quota corrections immediately. The infotype is updated at a specific transfer time that is determined in Customizing.
If you want to make the corrected accrual entitlements available directly in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006), you can also immediately transfer the accrual entitlements accumulated in time evaluation and the quota number specified in the infotype. You do this by setting the Transfer field to Transfer collected entitlement immediately.
Replace and increase
In the case of automatic accrual, time evaluation can either replace or increase the existing accrual entitlements in the Absence Quotas infotype (2006). You will generally want to use the Quota Corrections infotype (2013) to change only accrual entitlements that are increased by time evaluation.
If the accrual entitlement is replaced by the quota correction, you can only choose the Transfer collected entitlement immediately function for quotas that are to be replaced. If the entitlement were not transferred immediately, time evaluation would overwrite the correction immediately.
If an accrual entitlement is replaced by the quota correction, you can only enter one record for each day. This is because a second quota correction would overwrite the first one, thereby making it void.
Customizing
To check whether a quota is replaced or increased, choose the Customizing step:
Personnel Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration -->Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas --> Calculating Absence Entitlements --> Automatic Accrual of Absence Quotas --> Permit Generation of Quotas in Time Evaluation.

Error Not enough quota 30 for attendance/absence in ESS Leave Request

Good Morning
I am trying to create a "Leave Request" using ESS with "Floating Days". It has a cuota manual. When trying to create the leave request in ECC all works fine, but when trying to create the same leave request in ESS the following error occurs:
Not enough quota 30 for attendance/absence 0261 on 05.03.2008 for personnel no. 20001140

I would suggest the following :
Step1: Check your IT 2006/IT 2007 for your Absence and Attendance Quotas.
Step 2: You can also verify the same information using the PT50 transaction ( quota Overview)
Step 3: By doing the above you ensure that the person has the required quotas.
Step4: logon to ESS and do the request for leave.if it does not let you, then there is some problem in the config in the ESS. I cannot tell you this from top of my head. We need to look into the portal to see what exactly the problem.

How do I restrict the items shown in Action pull-down list in Quote Overiew

I would like to restrict the items shown in the pull-down list of Actions in Quote Overview Screen in Oracle Quoting (HTML)
The list is defined as part of Quick Codes (Lookup_type = ASO_QUOTE_ACTION). Per my understanding, it should show up all the lookup values enabled in ASO_QUOTE_ACTION. But I see only a few of those enabled in the action drop-down list in Overview Screen.
I appreciate if any one can provide any clue where they are restricted.
To access ASO_QUOTE_ACTION Loookup code, here is the navigation path.
® Quoting Sales Manager → (N) Setup → Quick Codes and query for ASO_QUOTE_ACTION.

No Quota for employee in EP- Leave Request error

I am facing an issue with one employee.
This employee is having a lot of quotas for all the absence types in R/3. However in EP when he goes to 'Quota Overview', it shows that the table is empty, and the dropdown list also does not contain any leave.

When Quotas table is empty then customisation is missing for his ESG AND PSG in v_t556a_web
check his groupings from It2006 overview and maintain those in above for his rule group

Please can you check if the Pernr used
has correct information like It0105 etc, also the rules are
correctly defined.
For the Employee, First of all check the Period Work Schedule also
the Quotas of the pernr needs to maintained in 2006, Please do
this customisation and it should solve the issue.
Maintain the absence quota in the IT2006 and then try once.
Also make sure that the Settings in Webmo and PTARQ etc all is done
The pernr belongs to the a Rule and have absences defined for him.
