Publi Sector HR v's Public Sector Budget

Hi All
I have a small doubt whether the ubli Sector HR and Public Sector Budgeting both are same or different, If so do we have any user guides or implementation guides for Publi Sector HR .

Dear APPSNET users,
I have more than 5 years of experience in ORACLE DESIGN and DEVELOPMENT in the legacy systems and custom software development areas.
I am doing my certification towards ORACLE 8 DBA.
Now, I am planning to take the ORACLE APPLICATIONS route. I would like to concentrate on FINANCIALS, HR-PAYROLL and PUBLIC SECTOR BUDGETING modules.

Public Sector Budget Validation Error

Hello all,
While Freeze the Budget I got error for Validate Budget Group Hierarchy concurrent Program. Below I am submitting the log output.
The program failed with the following errors :

The program failed with the following errors :
The budget group has not been frozen due to validation errors. Please check the errors by checking the Error Messages Report or the View Validations screen of the Budget Group form for the root budget group.
There are warnings detected due to account range test of "Includes" only ranges, or accounts not in any budget group of the hierarchy that are budgetary accounts in GL, or missing or invalid Organization.
These warning messages are treated as errors when you choose not to force freeze or when you choose to force freeze but errors are detected.
Please choose to force freeze the budget group if warning messages will not affect the worksheet and there are no error messages like duplicate account combination.
Please explain me what would be the issue.

Experience using Oracle for public sector budgetting?

I am looking to know if anyone has experience using Planning for public sector budgetting, not necessarily the PubSect app itself.
I am looking for some highlevel feedback regarding the biggest challenges in using Hyperion Planning for developing a government/state budget, where the typical cycle involves a parliament or another elected organ, etc.
I am aware of the Scottish government using one and Abu Dhabi also has it implemented but if you know others I would be delighted to hear of them.

We did think about using the device as a "Shared Device" but we thought this would get over complicated, as the library has requested that the users can just pick it up and use it without any hassle. Which in an ideal world would be easy but alas, it is not!
We also thought about using Single App Mode and locking it into the AirWatch Secure Browser, where we could disable things like caching and saving usernames and passwords etc!

Public Sector Budgeting - "&Context Scenario" in webform

on 11.1.2, i installed public sector budgeting, some of the forms have "&Context Scenario" as the scenario. I thought this may be a subvar but it's not created in Essbase. Also the fact that there is a space between can't make this a subvar. Does any one know what this may mean? I cannot open the form because it says the context is not fully known. Does any one know what this means?

I had this problem recently because the form timed out and did not finish to open. The error while trying to open the form was similar.
To solve it, what we did is:
1. Go to Administration/Manage/User Variables
2. Uncheck the "Use Context" from the dimension that is giving you the problem. (i.e Year)
3. Save
4. Go to File/Preferences/Planning/User Variables (Now you may see the variable for the dimension "Year")
5. Assign a dimension member to the Variable (Let's say: FY14) and click OK.
6. Open the form that gave you the error. (It should open now). Close Form.
7. Go to Administration/Manage/User Variables and
8. Check back the "Use Context" in the dimension. (i.e Year)
9. Save
10. Open again the form.

PSB- Worksheet cannot send for Approval

Dear All,
We are implementing Public Sector Budgeting module. When we create an worksheet and try to submit for the approval the submit worksheet is disabled.
and if any one can differentiate wat is the difference between global worksheet and local worksheet.
Some more doubts are
- Is The approvals will go to notifiers available in budget group or review group notifiers
- In worksheet line items cannot be visible. Even in parameter set i ve entered the line items..?
Since this is an rare module which was implemented in metalink we can find less number of documents.
Can any one can provide process document, BR 100, TE40 likewise..

What is happening is that when Department class is instantiated into an object, Courses gets
instantiated into a object too within Department.
var dept = new Department();
It means that Courses can be addressed/accessed immediately within Department, because it got instantiated when Department was instantiated.
dept.Courses.Add(Course);
Without Courses object being instantiated within Department's constructor, then you would have to instantiate the Courses object outside of the Department object before you could address/access the Courses
object within the Department object.
var dept = new Department();
dept.Courses = new HashSet<Course>();
The second class example you show assumes that Courses was instantiated at some point to be an object in the Department object in code outside of the Department class.
The first class example has Courses instantiated as an object within Department and ready to go when Department object is instantiated, and the second example is you had better at some point in code outside of the Department object instantiate Courses as
an object within the Department object, because otherwise, it's object not set to an instance of an object error when you try to address Department.Courses.

EJB transaction question in ejbCreate

I have 2 Entity EJBs participating in an relationship. Order - LineItem. I'm creating the LineItem in the the ejbPostCreate of Order.
When I encountered a duplicate key for Order in Order's ejbCreate, I was not expecting the LineItem to be created, I thought a rollback would occur.
What do I need to do to ensure a rollback occurs. And it looks like the container called ejbPostCreate even though ejbCreate threw an exception. Can I get around this?
