Publish Button is Gone!! Updated Reader 9.1

We just updated to Reader 9.1 and have noticed the Publish button/tools are no longer in upper right. Only in Tasks drop down.
In order to see the Tasks tool set you must right click tool bar and turn it on.
When re-launching browser, Task tools do not stick, you must re-check them/turn them on.
Are there plans to fix this issue? Oversight? or were this intensionally done?
I am a little worried that other features have disapeared with this new release of reader 9.1.
Please help anyone.

I'm thinking it was intentionally unintentional. I'm guessing that in order to fix the security flaw, they had to re-write some of the user interface, and didn't take the time to make it look like the previous version (because they promised a fix by March 11).
I realize this update was to fix a major security flaw, but why can't we have the same user interface? In version 8 and 9.0, it was so much easier to tell that you're on a document that was comment-enabled as well as easier to publish your comments. The ease of use was part of the reason we went with this solution.
Now what happens is you load the document (either in Reader or your browser) and it looks like every other document instead of having nice, clear commenting functions at the top of the window. Sure, it asks to connect to the commenting server, but after that, in order to comment, you have to add the "Tasks" toolbar EVERY TIME you load a comment-enabled document. That preference doesn't seem to stick - even if you load Reader and tell it to show that "Tasks" toolbar.
To make things even worse, this change only happened in the Windows version of Adobe Reader 9.1. The Mac version retains the same look and feel for commenting as in 9.0 and 8.x. So now, in order to create documentation, we'll have to make separate documents for Windows vs Mac users.
Adobe- please unify your User Interface again.

The Publish button disappeared after upgrading to CS5, how do I get it back?

I am administrator for a site that just upgraded from CS3 to CS5. Until then there were no problems, other users would send me their drafts and I would publish them. Now the Publish button is gone and I can only review the draft. The users have writer roles, so they cannot publish either. Could you tell me what I need to do in order to get the Publish button back. For example how to change the workflow xml to get the same workflow that I had in CS3.

Here is the .xml workflow file that I changed a bit, but it still does not work how I want it to and I am not sure where the problem lies. I want to create a workflow where other users in writer roles send their drafts to me and I publish them. I changed the preconditions for publish into "$role == administrator". I don't understand why the button "Send for Publish" does not appear, since it is clearly in the options of this workflow.

That extension isn't hosted an AMO, which makes it a lot harder (and more expensive) for the developer of that extension to provide automatic updates for that extension.

After recent update, button graphics gone?

After the recent Safari update the all the buttons for actions are grey. It is the same in mail too. The buttons still work. I am trying to figure out if this a coincidence or not. If it isn't a coincidence, do others suffering the same problem have a solution. I am a mailtags user, and I wondered if there was any incompatibility there.

Thanks for looking at my question. I see I wasn't specific enough. The graphics on the buttons are gone. They are only grey. I can see a picture would be useful.

i thint the "yellow button" mean the toolsline.
this option was relocated to the right site, next to the search button/menu
if you want see the toolsline, left click the top of the window, and click to the toolsline button

AddThis Button is gone after the last update. Also when I click on add ons, then select the options button on any add on the add on screen locks up and I have to shut down firefox. Any Ideas how to fix this? Running Windows XP.

After the most recent Firfox update, the Add-on page locks up when I click on options for any add-on. Also my AddThis button is gone.

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? But after storing the correct password you can manage any duplicate passwords in the password manager.[[Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox]]

In ios8 my dictation button is gone

I do not have any 3rd party keyboards installed, so I'll get that out of the way right off the bat. Prior to my upgrade to iOS8 on my iPhone 5, I used the dictation button on the keyboard all the time - especially in Messages. Now, after the update, the button is gone. I also don't use Siri and didn't with iOS7.
How do I get it back?

Do you still have the Feedback extension installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) ?
If not then reinstall the "Test Pilot" extension:

My published site won't update

I published my site today.
I have used up 50% of my allowance for my site.
I have made a few changes that I needed to update - adding another 10% to my allowance...but when I hit the publish button, I get an error saying that I have exceded my allowance - It seems to want to publish the whole site again on top of what I have already.
Am I missing something very obvious?
Any suggestions as to what I could try?

I am getting the same error even though I have about 90MB free on my iDisk. Since last night, every time I try to publish a small update in iWeb to my .Mac site I get a message saying there was an error verifying the quota on my iDisk. I'm stuck with a half-finished page up on the web and no way to fix and update it. Can anyone suggest a way for me to work through or around this, please?

Can you move a 'Multiple Image Upload' button into the 'Update Form'?

I am able to creat and an Update form and an image upload using the "Update Form Wizard" tool and the "Multiple Image Upload" tool succesfully.
 
 The problem comes when I try to move the "UPLOAD" button inside the Update form. Right now it looks like this:

A control can only appear once in the visual tree. So you have to remove it from the Grid before you can add it to the DockPanel.
This code will move the Border element from the Grid to the DockPanel when you click the button:

How do I upload an album to Facebook if the "Publish" Button is continually greyed out?

I have created 2 new albums from a recent trip. The pictures are all edited and ready to be uploaded to Facebook, but when I push the Facebook button, the "Publish" button in the dialog is continually greyed out and I can't publish. Earlier this evening, I published an album from my MacBook with no trouble, but the pictures I want to publish now have all been edited and put in albums on my iMac.
Also, I checked several earlier published albums on this iMac and they show an error message indicating that there may be something wrong with my login. I am logged in and don't know how to fix the problem.

Solved problem. Go to menu-file-export. Click on Facebook tab. Login and it's pretty intuitive from there.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
Good luck Liz, if you have Time Machine running as a back up to your library, maybe you wil be able to get help there, by following my instructions above.   Otherwise,   good luck with your investigations.   I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

The window doesn't automatically pop up now. When you plug the card reader in, you should see a 4th option on the lower bar of the photos app. I think it says camera. Tap on that then you can see and inport your photos.
If you are still having issues, try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. It won't hurt any data but can clear gliches.
