Publish buttons not available to me

Hi-
Just got my first mac, and first web site launched over the weekend - to my own domain hosted by 1ana1. Tried to make some corrections today and they seem to have partially loaded then stopped. I got a successfully uploaded message though. Now further changes made, and keen/desperate to fix the site, but none of the publish site buttons or options are available to me. I cant figure out why... or how to get them. I can't publish to mobile me either.
Help greatly appreciated!

Why is my Publish button not available?

I am trying to publish a generator for FCPX (10.1.4) out of Motion (5.1.2). My OS X is 10.10.2. However, when I select the "Publish as a Final Cut Generator" option out of the selection box in Motion (see screen shot: http://screencast.com/t/3ybVCuzSq) the "Publish" button become unavailable. What am I doing wrong?

You need to select the dropdown under Template Name and select or create a category for the generator to reside in.

Delete button not available for goods receipt when PO has GR-Based IV set

Hi ll,
the delete button for confirmations is greyed out when the PO has the GR-Based IV set, the return delivery button however is available.
There are several goods receipt on the PO some of which have linked invoices but the goods receipt I want to cancel is not linked to an invoice.
I've checked the backend config and it's the same for movement types 102 and 122. Also I can manually post a 102 in the backend.
For PO's without GR-Based IV both the delete and return delivery buttons are available.
Does anyone have any ideas? We are on SRM 4.0.

thanks for the response but I don't think this situation is related to backend settings as I can perform a 102 and a 122 against the same PO l;ine directly in R/3.
This appears to be an SRM "feature".
To claifry the situation
PO flagged as GR-Based IV
Purchase Order line has several goods receipts and several invoice receipts matched.
Tryning to cancel a confirmation in SRM for a goods receipt without a matched invoice receipt.
"Delete" button is not available but "Return Delivery" button is available.
In R/3 backend I can post a 102 (delete) or a 122 (return) without any issues.
Config settings are the same for 102 and 122 in the R/3 backend.
Any one any ideas?

Dear Shentil,
You just get into ML81N and enter the doc no: then you click on the Change button . Now your data will be open to edit there you can find the option to release which looks like a flag.

Flash player stopped working in Win8.1, IE11. Also, listed publisher is "not available"

I can't get any videos to play on FaceBook or any other site. It tells me to install Flash player, but It's already installed and it has worked fine before. I've gone into "manage add-ons" and it is enabled. Also, ActiveX filtering is not enabled. Those were the only 2 troubleshooting steps I could find. I can't seem to uninstall the player, and when I try to re-install it I'm told it's already part of Windows 8.1.

I think it's a little suspect that the Publisher and Version are "Not available". Can anyone tell me how I can get this un-installed then re-installed?

The publisher should not be listed as 'Not Available', it should look similar to the following, listing the publisher and version:
You said in your first post "but It's already installed and it has worked fine before". Did you install any Internet Explorer updates recently, and if so, what is the KB number for them? You can view installed updates in the Control Panel > Windows Update > View update history and look for the Internet Explorer updates. If there are recent updates installed, you may want to uninstall the update and try re-installing again. As Jeromie says, Microsoft updates Flash Player in Internet Explorer on Windows 8.x and above. This could be a failed update install, or something else.

S1000D Publish IETP not available

I am attempting to build an IETP from the sample S1000D bike data provided with TCS 4. I have opened the S1000D bike sample Publication Module (PM) in Framemaker 11. I followed the help file instructions but have encountered a couple of issues. First, when I attempted to set global applicability for the book, there are no applicability values available (see help file instructions below).
To implement applicability (Global) at a book level,
When the book file is in focus, select S1000D > Common Source Data.The S1000D Common Source Data dialog appears.
In the Common Source Data dialog, select the Applicability tab and then PCT.
In the list of products, select the applicable product and click Apply.
I am beginning to think that the Book/PM is not properly set up with applicability values.
Second, the "Publish IETP" menu item is grayed out and not available.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Yes it seems to be an installation issue. Upon reinstall, Bridge 64 bit wasn't working (missing dll). I think RoboHelp might need Bridge so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Didn't work, reinstalled everything including 32bit Bridge. Bridge works now and I have "Print IETM". I still don’t have ability to set applicability once switched to Publication Module Book (using 1000D>Common Source Data). Unfortunately RoboHelp failed on opening and corrupted the PM so I need to go find another copy. Possibly the Bike PM isn’t properly authored – I haven’t really spent much time in the 4.0.1 DMs or publication modules for that matter.
I've been very happy with both ADG and Mekon. Customer service from both vendors has been exemplary.
We've elected to go with v4.1 so this has caused a few issues with the Mekon pack lagging behind some of the 4.1 changes but they've addressed the problems quickly with patches for us.
ADG R4i CSDB works well. A few similar 4.1 issues but for us they were the only vendor who could deliver a full S1000D publishing system affordable to small/mid-sized business. Aside from what I think is a great product, what I like most is the personal touch – they’re still small enough where your questions are periodically answered directly by the CEO or CTO. (I don’t work for ADG or Mekon – just happy with their service.)
Are you using applicability? Internal or external using the CIR?

Preview/publish buttons not working

I am doing the admin work on a client-side UPK installation in a multi-user environment. All the client user accounts have the same permissions. Assigned permission: Content folder - Modify , System folder - Read. Effective permission is 'Modify' for both content and system folders.
Yet, some user accounts can preview in all modes, while for the others, by default, only the Presentation and Test Document mode are available under preview. What can be done to resolve this? Is there a problem with assigning Read for System folder, though effective permission is Modify?
In addition, a custom publishing style has been created. However, no user account, apart from the ADMIN account, is able to publish using the custom publishing style. How can this be corrected?

For that matter, the "return to menu" which is set to a Main button type, isn't working either. that is one of the three. After i had removed the damaged button and copied it from another it worked. Then i simply edited the text of a different button (mind you one that still works) and the "return to menu" quit along with the bottom 2 buttons. I just can't figure it out. I have shut the app down and restarted and nothing seems to be working

UWL Approve and Reject buttons not available in Portal 7.31?

Attachment button not available in Complaint

Hi All,
How can I attach files (eg. DOC/PDF) in complaint transactions?
In the Assignment Block in WebClient for Compliant transaction type that I don't have any button (upload document from Hard disk) available to attach files.
In the component GS_CM, those fields are there, but in the Webclient they are not.
Can anyone help me ?

I think attachments comes under Attachement Assignment block.

Forward Button Not Available Until All Buttons Clicked in Slide

I'm attempting to create a slide where several buttons or rollover slidelets are available to the user. Each button/slidelet will need to be viewed before they are able to continue to the next slide.
For example, the slide has 3 button/slidelets on it which each represent a word. Each button/slidelet would need to be clicked before the user could proceed to the next slide.
How can I disable the forward button functionality on the playbar until each of the buttons/slidelets have been viewed?

Hi there
There are a few different ways this might be accomplished. If your goal is to remain entirely in Captivate, you might consider configuring an Advanced Action to do the work for you. You could reposition the playhead upon entering the next slide based on a variable you set.
Alternatively, you could hide the Playback Controls until all the elements have been interacted with.

Changed content not publishing; button not highlighted

Hi there,
I just upgraded to an iMac. Transferred iWeb domain successfully from laptop. Set up forwarding to my domain name since computer move and have not had any changes successfully update. Register.com says it's not on their end. My publish arrow button at the bottom of iWeb is not highlighted at all. My entries don't show up editable but all my changed content shows in iWeb application. It does not forward from "visit now" properly, only when I manually type in and also changes are not showing on the site. Also, site is supposed to not have www and mobile me tries to forward it to www. What the heck? I have manually published the entire site 50 times from the nav bar and no success. Should I undo the forwarding? It seems all problems started then.

Okay, I tried updating the website and publishing it from my laptop and that worked. I don't know why I am unable to visit from my site, but that's ok. I'm more concerned with changes. So the problem is with my new computer. How do I get the changes that are showing in iWeb on iMac to work?

Adobe Muse - "Publish" Button Not Working

I am trying to upload a website from Adobe Muse to Business Catalyst. Whenever I click "Publish" the window pops up and just says "Signing in to adobe business catalyst..." and never actually advances past that. It just keeps loading, and never gives me the chance to actually publish my site. I've waited and waited, trying several times, hoping it would eventually work, and it never does. What can be done about this? I need to this to work, as the website needs to be published very soon, Any help would be appreciated!

The Internet Options set in Internet Explorer in some cases (like this one) control the settings for all applications on your computer, regardless of whether or not you've selected IE as your default browser.
The symptoms you describe sound like something is interferring with Muse contacting the BC servers. My first idea was related to the fact BC increased the minimum security level supported a few months back, thus my question about what levels of SSL/TLS you have enabled. Your settings are fine.
Assuming you can visit your site in the browser without any problem and can login as admin to your site (add "/admin" to the URL for your site to login to BC directly in the browser) that would make it unlikely there's a corporate/enterprise-level firewall or proxy server interferring. Though if Publish works from your home network and not from work, that would point back to a corporate firewall or proxy issue.
Do you have Norton or other anti-virus/anti-malware software installed that may be configured to prevent applications other than your browser from accessing the internet?

Shared Review Publish function not available

I'm using Adobe Pro 9 (9.2.0) to create a Shared Review using a network folder. I am able to create the file correctly and SOME people are able to use Acrobat Reader 9.2.0 to Publish comments. The Publish function does not show up in Acrobat Reader 9.2.0 for many people and they are only able to save a copy. This isn't really using the Shared Review function at all.
How can I enable the Publish function to work for everybody on the Shared Review file?

I found the solution and thought that I'd post it. This question seems to come up, but never seems to get answered. Here it is:
If you're having this problem with Adobe Pro, then update the following registry entry:

Hopefully, this will benefit somebody and save them hours of time and frustration chasing Forums that never get resolved.

SRM-SUS: "Create Invoice" button not available in "Confirmation"

A confirmation is created from SUS(702) and posted to ECC (607). Service Entry sheet is released in ECC.
Supplier unable to see the "Create Invoice" button in the confirmation. Please advise what could be missing here?
Is there any status update to Confirmation about the acceptance of service entry. I can see a Service-acknowledgement is posted into SUS but is not visible in the SUS portal.

Menu button not available

I cannot get to the menu button on my samsung galaxy 2 10.1 tablet. There is not a menu on the botton of the screen as many keep referring to either. Am I correct that customizing the app is just going to not be possible? Am about ready to give up and uninstall again.

Next steps: if the device does not have a 3 dot menu we need to file a bug and have qa repro.
