Publish Customer Report in the page Overview of MSS

I want publish a customer report in the page of Overview of MSS.
Can someone help me, what I should do?

Hi,
Do you have the homepafe framework created for MSS too?
If yes, you can make a service with the Customer report from img and then add it to the Area (suctom area) and then add the are to the custom MSS area group page.
If not, then you can create a separate workset with attached page and iview and the iview can point to the customer report.
Attach this workset to the Custom MSS role.

If you are talking about FBL3N or any other FI customer subledger report, then Yes and No. If you have customers extended to multiple sales area, then no, if there is a one to one relationship with the sales area then yes.

Based on my understanding, you publish a report on the report server. When you access reports with internal application, the report doesn’t display, right?
In your scenario, since you mentioned you have published the report to report server, please go to report manager, check if you can see the published report and open the report properly. If the published report is displayed on report manager, it should not
be the issue in Reporting Services. In this scenario, since the MAMA application has established connection with on report server, it may not update items on report server after you publish your report onto report server. So please try to “refresh” in MAMA
or reconnect the report server. If issue persists, I suggest you contact the MAMA application vendor to get some more effective advices.

What are the ways in which to publish Crystal Reports to the web, besides this Visual Studio?

The data written to the security audit log correspond to the DDIC structures RSLGENTR (up to release 4.6) and RSAUENTR2 (in newer releases). DDIC structures can be viewed using TA SE11 (data type).

I need to add a new custom report to the PSPRCSRQSTDLG page - How ?

We are moving to FIS 9.0 from 8.4 and I am retrofitting a report. The report in 8.4 is called from the Process Request page and I can't see how to get a custom report to display in this page.
has anyone done this before?

The PRCSRQSTDLG page is the "2nd page" (so to speak) of a run control componet/page which is called when the "Run" button is pressed.
All you need to do is to create a new process definition for your custom report. On the 2nd tab of the process definition enter the component for the run control page from which the report is to run. Save. When you navigate to the run control page and press "Run" your custom report will now appear on the PSPRCSRQSTDLG page.

1. Database oracle 10g R2 on windows 2003 server enterprise edition with SP2
2. Application Server Oracle 10g R2 on Windows 2003 Server with SP2.
Problem explanation
one of our branch which is connected via leased line is unable to run some of the reports if the report have a little more
data,
one report i tried its size is almost 900k ( they are using the same line since last three month and they are
able to run all reports before, bandwidth is 128k), if you run report browser search a little while
for output then displayed "The page cannot be displayed" if you look at the report log it's finished successfully.
I try to download the report rather opening in browser it reach to end of in downloading window at the end it display
this message
Internet explorer can not download getjobidxxx.xls from oracleaps.domain.com
The connection with the server was reset.
I want to mention one more thing there is a ISA server and firewall in between client and Server but its the same condition
for
head office client but they are able to run all report with out any error.
any one have idea??

Webcache KeepAlive timeout is reached. (The default value for KeepAlive timeout is 5 seconds)
Increase the Keepalive time in webcache to a higher value

Yes, download the RDL file and modify the report. If the user name is not in one of the current datasets, then you have to add it first.

Publishing a Report in the SAP Portal

Hi,
I am able to create a report using Web Application Designer. I am also able to publish it. Once logging into SAP BW, I can see a shortcut of my web report in the SAP Menu. When I click on this report, it redirects me to a site, opening my web browser automatically, and opening a link to my created report.
My question is: Is there a general site wherein I can log in and access my report? I want users to access a single link and choose their reports from there; instead of them logging into SAP BW, and clicking on the shortcut to access the report
My follow up question is: the link to my report appears to be a long link. Can I change the link to my report to make it more easier to memorize for my users?

If u have an access to the portal u cn directly log on to the portal and there u can executer the reports which are assigned to u.

404 error while adding custom webpart to the page

I have my solution working in development environment. I deployed the wsp in prod env. While adding one specific webpart to the page leads to 404 error page.

I would say that somewhere in your specific method call a web service, but it cannot find. You can check the related code snippet.
I suggest that you can try to store the url in a webpart property so that it can be modified easily.

List all Published Crystal Reports and the BW Query they are created upon

Hello All
I am wanting to create a list of all Crystal Reports files that have been published to BW and report the the Crystal Reports Name and the BW Query (datasource) name.
At the moment I am opening up each report in crystal and via database expert determining which BW query is used. I have about 120 reports I need to do this for and I would really appreciate if there is an easy way to extract this data.
Even if I am just provided with table names where this linkage is stored would be great as I can then create the report myself.
The Format of the report is really simple
Crystal Report (Doc. Name)................Crystal Report Data Source Name (BW query)

Custom Report for the Stock and Stock value for a specific date

Hi SAP Gurus,
Is there any SAP standard t-code or any logic to get the transcations (additions (for example: Purchases) and subtractions (Sales) to the inventory) for a particular materials in a plant and with Total Stock and also Total Stock value when that particular transaction happened?
Our system is R/3 4.7
I looked at the MB5B, MBCE, MBCA, MC44, MB51 and some other standard T-codes but could not find the total stock value at the time of Transaction happened.
The history tables MBEWH and MARDH are updated after the month end closing procedures, right, which means I will have the inventory value changing every month if material has Price "S".

Unfortunately, you cannot see in a single tcode the value of stock and stock quantity on a specific date. As you yourself have pointed out, we only have to make use of the history table MBEWH, MARDH for the month wise stock quantity and value. Along with that you should also make use of the table MBEW to take teh stock quantity and value. So the total value of stock on a particular date will be
Stock qnty = MBEWH value until the previous month (for teh specific valuation class, period etc) + MBEW value for the present date.
But this will nto work out if you want to find out teh stock quantity and stock value on a past date basis. For past data, only m onthwise data is available. For this anyway you can refer to MC.1 and so on reports.

But I didn't find any BAPI or any report for doing partial vendor clearing inside my report.
Kindly suggest me any BAPI or some code such that I can able to clear those open items from my report.

No matter what kind of transactions you are using, finally, there will be a document posted in General Ledger Accounting, which is what you want. So to read the result, you can always try function module, like FI_DOCUMENT_READ.
