Publish into SR fails

All,
I'm in my Sender Agreement and want to publish into the Services  Registry, but I got this error:
"Could not establish connection to Services Registry; configure connection to Services Registry in SAP NetWeaver Administrator and try again"
I already checked OSS note 1267817, but the strange this is that the details button is disabled and I cannot see which user is used to connect. Anyone any idea?
Maybe I need to assign specific roles to that user?
On my Integration Builder main page, I can connect to the SR.
Thanks a lot
Dimitri

Hi,
Check this thread for user roles:

  • Publishing to MobileMe fails

Not sure what to do here because, MobileMe (formerly dotMac) has worked, all be it slowly, but seamlessly.
I'm trying to publish a modest number of images to a gallery (50 images) prepared for optimized download capabilities. I've done this many, many, many times in the past without issue and typical galleries are several hundred large.
    Order of operations:
Place adjusted images in a MobileMe Gallery and select sync
Aperture's Activity monitor shows that syncing is taking place, percentages climb as syncing moving forward, until...
Then at 100% sync, there is a hang and after a period of time, I get the message:
"An error occurred with the publication of album "Cheri Abrams" - Request to the server http://publish.me.com failed.
It is clear that Aperture has published an empty gallery with the name I gave to the gallery I was attempting to publish evidenced by visiting my MobileMe Gallery Albums page.
Can anyone point me in a direction to fix this?
Note: I know about not using stacks when publishing and I've also tried the work around of opening MobileMe preferences in Aperture while trying to publish as several others have documented that for some reason that little dance works.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Wait until the storm is over
Verify in 'System Preferences / MobilMe / Account' that your are logged in to MobileMe,
Locate the file 'com.apple.iWeb.plist' in 'user(you) / Library / Preferences' , delete it (after making a Back-Up ! So that you can restore it if this tip doesn't work for you),
    Open iWeb,
Verify that iWeb is logged in to MobileMe,
    Do a 'publish to MobileMe'
    Does that work ?

  • Logging into ULOG failed

    Hi,
We are using a eLink1.2 product on Windows 2000 OS. A DLL with following extract has been compiled and registered.
    ELATRACE(gmsgLevel, 9, ("ESeLinkSynch DLL: Test for <%d> trace level", nTraceLevel));
When the DLL is invoked, the text contents are logged into ULOG. It has been noticed sometimes in production that logging into ULOG fails due to some reason. The Logging stops till the new ULOG file is generated ( at 0000 Hrs on next day ). We notice the following error in stderr file:
    GP_CAT:209: ERROR: Write error 9, file C:\TUX\ULOG.021506
Any idea why this happens/how to stop/how to debug on this issue ?
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    Suresh,
In older releases of Tuxedo, Tuxedo did not close and reopen the ULOG file
following a write failure. This problem often caused the logging to
continue to fail until a new log file was opened after midnight.
This problem was fixed in Tuxedo 6.5 Rolling Patch 334 and in Tuxedo 6.4
Rolling Patch 110, and the problem does not occur in Tuxedo 7.1 and above.
If you are running Tuxedo 6.5 or 6.4 at an earlier patch level than the ones
listed, please obtain the latest rolling patch from support.

  • Publishing to YouTube Failed: The request timed out.

Why do I get "Publishing to YouTube Failed: The request timed out." when trying to load to YouTube. It doesn't happen all the time, just once in a while but it's been happening everytime for the past week!!
I am using the pre-set drop down feature - Share to YouTube.
    Help! Thanks.

Just trying the upload from the desktop: 'Uploading your video. 2616 minutes remaining.'
Am also doing another export using H264 to see if that is quicker. It's only 15mins of footage.

  • Publishing to Vimeo Failed: The request timed out.

Why am I getting this error message on Final Cut Pro X: "Publishing to Vimeo Failed: The request timed out."? any help is great, thanks.

That would suggest a network problem. It may be transient, so try again in a few hours. If it does not work, try trashing your preferences. In the meantime, there is always a workaround: export a master file, upload using the vimeo site.

  • Publishing to YouTube Failed: Timed out!

    I need help.
I upload videos edited in FCPX to Youtube via the 'share' option, sometimes it works but other times it doesn't and an error message pops up saying 'Publishing to YouTube Failed: Timed Out'. In my video manager page on YT it say's 'failed to convert file' but I don't use anything differently on most of my videos. How can I stop this from happening?

    Hi Brian,
I gave up going direct from FCPX and instead went through Compressor by exportiing as an H.264 file. In Compressor I chose the YouTube files as the destination files and they went just as they should. Still peeved that I couldn't go directly from FCPX but it is just a small few steps to go through Compressor. If you don't have Compressor I would highly recommend you get it as it provides a huge range of files to convert to.
    Cheers!

  • Publishing to YouTube Failed: The operation couldn't be completed. No such file or directory

I am getting the following error in iMovie when I attempt to publish a video clip to YouTube: Publishing to YouTube Failed: The operation couldn’t be completed. No such file or directory. Any ideas about what is going on? I did not find anything directly related to this on general google search...

I'm not certain why this error is coming up, but I have almost 500 youtube videos on youtube, all created through the years with iMovie.
Here is what I find. The publishing tool through iMovie is very sketchy, and doesnt work well most the time. Plus you usually lose alot of quality. Go to File>Share>File. This will then save it as a file to wherever you want. Then when you go to upload on youtube, select this file.

  • Converting Single Instance database into Oracle Fail-Safe on Linux

    Hi All,
We have single instance Oracle10g database running on Linux RHEL4. We are looking to convert this database into Oracle Fail-Safe (Active-Passive). Does any one have document for Oracle fail-safe setup?
    Regards,
    Tushar

    Tushar,
you can't use software for windows on Linux.
However, there's number of ways to implement high-availability solution on Linux Oracle.
You can go with Active-Active (RAC) - which means that you'll have two servers attached to the same database at the same time. You can use either, and if one goes down(due to power failure for instance), the second will still be available.
You can go with Active-Passive (Data Guard) - which means that you'll have one of the nodes being active and the second passive, but synchronized with the first one, so in case of failure of the first node you can activate the second one.
You can also go with linux clustering - which is most similar to MCS + fail-safe - you'll have two nodes clustered with linux clustering software (RH cluseter suite for instance) and connected to shared storage. One node is active, and in case of crash database instance will be automatically started on the second node. This is beneficial because you can use your resources more efficiently. In case if you have two databases you can run each of them on dedicated server and then, in case of node failure move to another one. However, the setup of such configuration is quite cumbersome.

Without seeing the history, one possibility might be some corruption in the reporting database. Assuming that you are following best practices for SQL DB management, and this is not a DB neglect problem, then I would try to force a refresh to see if that
helps. You can do this by executing a custom field backup and then restore. Note: Do not do this during production hours. Let us know if that provides any therapy.

  • Insert into CLOB fails with Oracle ODBC driver version 9.02.00.65

I tried to insert into CLOB using the latest Oracle ODBC driver 9.02.00.65 and it fails. But the same works with earlier versions of ODBC driver earlier to 9.02.00.65 ie., 9.02.00.63.
Here is the code snippet I tried. Any help now is highly appreciated as I am in the crunch time.
I tried the same code snippet with VARCHAR2 column with the same driver and it works.

    Hi,
Since 9.2 has been desupported for error correction you will not be able to download that version from OTN. You should ask whoever is providing the training if their is an alternate version you can use. The only versions that you will be able to download from oracle.com is 10.2 11.1, and 11.2.

  • Inserting XML document into XDB fails with can't convert to OPAQUE

    Hi,
When I try to insert a document using oracle 9.2.0.5 client software into a 9.2.0.5 database, with the following code:
    void insertDocument(String document) {
    XMLType xt = XMLType.createXML(connection, document);
    PreparedStatement ps = connection.prepareStatement("insert into xmldocuments values(?)");
    ps.setObject(1, xt);
    ps.executeUpdate();
The setObject function always throws an exception (after a very long time) with:
java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert to internal representation: OPAQUE()
This also fails when we use the InputStream and org.w3c.xml.Document variants.
We use the OCI driver, otherwise we get errors retrieving the documents from XMLDB.
    What is going wrong here?

    David,
If you search through the historical data in this list there are previous post regarding opaque.
These may be useful. Possibly your reaching the size limit.

    Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. I have finished the VDI 3.0 Install and everything works fine now. For some reason even though the Storage OS was opensolaris 2008.11 but running on a VM it did not like that and once I dedicated a seperate box, then things worked fine. I just redid the install of the VM to try if it goes through and this time it works well. So my setup as of now has everything running on a ASUS MBD whitebox with Open Solaris running as a VM in Virtual Box and acting as a ZFS Storage (Virtualbox is running inside the GA release. However I would like to run everything in one OS which would be the GA. I tried setting up the iSCSI interface in GA and it did not work. Any ideas on how I can make this work on just one platform ?

  • Importing ditamap into RoboHelp fails

I am trying to import a ditamap (created in FrameMaker) into RoboHelp. I am able to create Web output using command line DITA-OT, which is what RH uses in the background. But when I try in RH, I get the following error:
Error occurred while importing C:\......\a.ditamap. See Output View for details.
    The Output View says:
Processing with DITA Open Toolkit failed. No Logs found.
Check DITA Open Toolkit is installed and working.
Well, as I said, DITA Open Toolkit is indeed installed and working for the exact ditamap that fails in RH. Even more puzzling is the fact that my colleague, who we believe has the same setup as I do, is able to import the ditamap.
We are both using RoboHelp 10.0.0.287, which I believe is the latest update available. Please correct me if I'm wrong! Our machines are Windows 7 and we have FrameMaker 11 (not that it should matter). DITA-OT is 1.6.3.
I found some talk about this problem from an old post (here), in which someone stated that Adobe is working on this. Any ideas whether that is still the case, or if I can try anything else?
    Thanks,
    Heather

Thank you for your reply, RoboColum(n). It turns out that the solution was to use DITA-OT 1.5 rather than 1.6.3. I was mistaken when I said above that my colleague and I had the same setup. He has been running the OT 1.5 for quite some time and since I recently installed it, I went for the newer version.
We can use version 1.5 for what we need, but it is rather strange that version 1.6 does not work to import ditamaps in RoboHelp. The information I found states that version 1.6 improves performance, provides clearer error messages and has undergone significant code cleanup.
I would be interested to know if Adobe will be keeping up with future versions of the DITA Open Toolkit. There are plans to incorporate the creation of context-sensitive webhelp in a future version, which would be really helpful for us.
    Thanks again,
    Heather

We've opened ports 80 and 443 on the firewall, and tried to approve and submit locally, with the same results.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get this to work, it would be great. We have a lot to submit, and the client really would like to do it on line.
    Thanks,
    David

    Thanks for your input guys.
We discovered that we originally had used Publish for Approval 1.1, and subsequently have changed to version 1.5, which no longer uses the third party app.
Unfortunately, we still have the same problem, the client's browser stops loading when he or she hit's the "submit" button.
---> Could the installation of the 1.1 and third party app have left some preferences that need to be deleted or settings that need to be reset?
---> The error message on the client's web browser now states that the "server unexpectedly dropped the connection." Trying again later is not successful.
The error logs for Apache2 from the most recent attempt are different than with the 1.1 version of the software:

I don't know much about this, I just want my client to be able to approve the images through the Aperture interface.
Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.
