Publish multiple PDF-documents in 1 window

I'm trying to open multiple (different) pdf-files in 1 window.
If this works I would like to scroll through the different files, without having my taskbar full with the different files.
My version is the 8.0-version.
Does it work with this version, or is it necessary to buy/use a newer version?
Thanx for your replies!

Thanx Bernd,
the next problem is that I can only see the next file by clicking the red "X" in the upper right corner...
There isn't a scroll-function besides the page-scroller in the document itself...

I have a paid subscription, but am no longer able to merger multiple pdf documents into one pdf. What's up?

    Pat:
Below is a copy of an 8/7/2013 email from adobe. I prepaid a one-year subscription, and, until I recently upgraded to Windows 8, I was able to make several dozens of merged pdf documents. I seem to be no longer able to use the merge feature that I had successfully and repeated used. When I search for the merge feature I end up with a request that I pay for an upgrade monthly subscription to use the merge feature.

You would need Adobe Acrobat to do that. Reader doesn't have the ability.

  • How to open pdf document in other window by using java script

    Hello All,
I am working in R12 Application.
    My jdeveloper version is 10.1.3.3.0.3
I want to open pdf document in other window on clicking the button
for that i have written following code in process request of the controller:
    pageContext.putJavaScriptFunction("doFilterSwitch", "function doFilterSwitch(){window.open('/t01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_appsdev2/logs/appl/conc/out/545042.pdf'); }");
    OAButtonBean moHelp =(OAButtonBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("Download");
    moHelp.setOnClick("doFilterSwitch()");
but when i hit download button it gives me the below error:
    The webpage cannot be found
    HTTP 404
    Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
    What you can try:
    Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
Go to and look for the information you want.
    More information
    please help me out
    Regards,
    sheetal

Instead of giving the link in Process form request, give the link directly in Destination URI property of the button and in target property write _blank.
Note : use normal button not submit button

  • Support for multiple pdf document with signature

I have a question about signatures.
Does the PDF specification support the combination of multiple pdf documents into one pdf document with the following constraint:
    - each individual pdf document has been signed (by an X.509 certificate),
    - the individual documents can come from different sources, so they have to be 'included' or merged into the final pdf,
    - the final pdf document should not change the signatures of the individual documents.
So each part of the document should maintain the integrity of the individual components and the signature of the individual comnponents are still valid.
Does the pdf specification support this feature?
    With kind regards,
    Ernst Jan

What you want is called a PDF Package (or Portable Collection in the PDFRef) and is new in PDF 1.7. You can try it out with Acrobat 8.

  • Convert a word document to multiple PDF documents

    Hello
I would like to convert a word document to multiple PDF documents. (i.e. convert 20 page word document into 20 single page PDF's). Is it possible to do this easliy and quickly.
I have used word mail merge to create multiple cover letters in word
I would now like to convert each cover letter (which is 1 page each) into individialized PDF's so that I can email them out as attachments
I currently have been copying and pasting from my master word document into a fresh word document (one page at a time) then, saving, then converting to PDF one cover letter at a time. Although this works it is time consuming and I figured there may be an easier quicker way to do this
Any thoughts, suggesstions, would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

It is possible to convert the word document into a PDF then while the PDF is open do:
    Document
    Extract Pages
    1-20
Check "Extract pages as seperate files"
This will give you 20 seperate files.
    Hope it helps!

  • Open multiple pdfs in one acrobat window

There are many things annoying about Acrobat, but the one that really gets me is that the option to open multiple pdfs in the same window, rather than splattering them all over the toolbar, apparently has been removed in the latest versions.  I have been using Foxit for pdfs for the past few years and am only now returning to acrobat because we've purchased a piece of software that requires a plugin that works only in acrobat.
Tabs are the proper solution.   How long ago did Firefox shake up the browser community with tabs, 15 years ago?   Where was Acrobat?   For a while, they bodged together a preference that would keep them all in the same window (no tabs however), but even that is gone.

    Hi skydivingsnowman,
I'm sorry you're having such trouble using the ExportPDF service. What browser are you using?
Please try clearing your browser cache, or using a different browser (here's a list of supported browsers:   http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/.
Please let me know if that works.
