Publish Request stalled

My folio is stuck at 46% with no option to cancel or try again. It has been like this for some time, and is a relavtively small file size.
This folio has published and updated multiple times today and all pages were/are fine on the last publish, so I see no reason for it to stall on my end.
Are there any backlogs or problems with the Adobe servers at present?
As always time is important so if anyone can shed light on this great.

Problem has been solved in case anyone ends up searching this topic. No idea how or why, but after several attempts it eventually went through, failed, then went through fine with no changes. The Adobe rep was unable to give any specifics as to why, be it my fault or theres. However, I think it was a problem on the server end, since it was all working fine before and after, woth no changes, and the error was at the publishign phase rather than compilation.

Getting error 'Unable to Deliver XML Publisher Request'

Hi, there is a workflow which will trigger a letter through XML publisher. Few types are letters are printing. For few letters, getting an error 'Unable to Deliver XML Publisher Request' as a mail.

It was neither.
Rebuilding the folio and uploading it again has solved my problem.

Server not responding to ical publish request

This is probably a very simple problem but I can't work it out! We haven't had our server for very long and being a small agency we don't have a Sys Admin. We have had no problems with setting up the server, working from the server, sharing etc but can't get the ical service to work so that we can share appointments.
The server is set to share calendars with all users and with groups. On the individual computers when you go to publish the calendars on private server and put in the server name and login details the server refuses the connection request.
Under sys prefs in Sharing the server is visible and if you click 'edit' the info next to our server listing says "this server provides iCal services"
What are we doing wrong?

IWeb publishing keeps stalling out!! Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this??

I'm new to all of this - only been working on a site for about a month now. I haven't run into a problem until just recently. I just tried to publish updates I've made to the website and it seems to keep stalling out during the "publishing" time! I do have several pictures on the website but no blog and I know I have not exceeded the alloted free space. This is so frustrating! Does anyone have a solution???

This can be caused by using a wireless connection to the internet. Try connecting to the modem with an ethernet cable if you can to rule this out as a possible problem.

Invalid Number When Submitting XML Publisher Request Sets

I face this problem when I click on option of the second request on request set. I found this is a oracle bug on metalink. I post this question because I wanted to know if there are any workaround to solve this issue without applying the patch.

Just FYI,
I just found the bug is due to below query:
select concurrent_program_name

and concurrent_program_id = :set_requests.concurrent_program_id;
Some how the application_id is compared to application short name.
Actually i can do the workaround using form personalization to apply the application_short_name with application id ....but it is not recommended and advised!!.

Publishing progress stalls

I just changed my quiz/reporting preferences according to the instructions in these two threads:

after making the changes, captivate won't publish the project at all. I've tried other courses and it publishes them just fine. The progress bar doesn't move at all and from the CPU processes it's clear that Captivate isn't doing anything at all. I've tried publishing to a folder, no luck, zip file output, no luck.
I checked all buttons/video files etc and everything seems in order. I don't understand how changing quiz settings would affect publishing.
Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. I'm about to lose my mind!

Well, turns out Captivate needed to be updated - audio files wouldn't encode, projects couldn't get published etcetc and all it took to take care of it was hitting Update in the Help menu.
Hopefully someone else who's having the same problems will read this and feel a little less silly than I do now!

Publish stalling at 60%

Publish is stalling at 60%, internet connection is no longer usable unless I re-boot. Seems to uplaod html pages and stops on other file uploads. Have just updated with V6. Tried cleaning Adobe cache, uninstall & re-install Muse, created new Muse file, moved site files to internal hard drive. Worked for an update or two then failed again. Need help - spent far too long on this.

You can still drag and drop a song into a Playlist, in the same manner as before. Simply use the left-click of your mouse to select-and-hold the song (left-click-and-hold, don't release the click) and drag it to and then drop it (release the click) into the Playlist you want. (You cannot drop it into a Smart Playlist, you can only drop it into a Regular Playlist.)
... and here's a screenshot dragging the song "Lazy Orbit" into the Regular Playlist "Sat 4th June 2011". A small + symbol also appears in the drag, but it doesn't show up on screenshots. If the move is forbidden, a red slash through a red circle appears instead of the + symbol.
As for the Albums thing; in the Column Browser, right-click anywhere in the Column Browser header (see my screenshots in my previous post) and a menu appears. Deselect Albums on that menu to remove Albums from the upper Columns:
... and for the columns underneath (with the songs list etc.), right-click on that header bar and once again, deselect Albums from the menu that appears. The Albums column will then be removed from the lower columns list.

This functionality is working in PDF output but in EXCEL out put it is not working.

Overide XML Report Publisher renaming?

Anyone know if it is possible to prevent the XML Report Publisher report from renaming the concurrent request on completion. This makes it very difficult for users to understand what requests are, especially when they are automatically submitted from other concurrent programs.
For example in EBS 11.5.10+ I have a dunning letter custom where the standard "Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate" process submits the bursting program and 2 instances of XML Report Publisher, one for the printed dunning letters and one for the summary report. We could live with the bursting report name but both the XML Report Publisher instances complete with the same name! How is the user supposed to know what is what?

Glad someone else thinks so!
I can see the reason behind what it does and it's fine for manually submitted "XML Report Publisher" requests but when you get to submitting it from another concurrent program the renaming is a pain, especially if you are submitting multiple reports from the same request (e.g. detail and summary reports). Users just don't know what they are supposed to be looking at!
Hopefully Tim will pick it up but I suspect it will have to be a future fix rather than something we can change right now. Roll on a new release for EBS!

Dunning Letters and XML Publisher

I have created a template for the dunning letter print in applications. When we submit the dunning letter generate process it kicks off the print automatically and this gives us a problem as the print doesn't seem to have the XMLP template associated with it and we get no output. We can work round this by submitting the XML Report Publisher Request to get the dunning letter print as required. We do have the "one step" patch applied and other XML Publisher reports are working seamlessly so how do we get the dunning letters print to work seamlessly when we have no control of the submission?

Yes it works fine in preview. Also works OK if I submit XML Report Publisher.
The problem is the template is for the dunning letters print report but we don't actually submit that, we submit the dunning letters generate which kicks off the dunning letter print. I guess the submit process within the generate process does not include the template in the parameters list so there is no output available when it runs.
Only thing I can think of is to modify the print report to submit the XML Report Publisher in the after report trigger but not sure if this is going to work?
I did see a similar query on metalink where the person was told there would be a solution in XMLP5.5 but I can't see anything in the about 5.5 doc that fits this issue.

Unable to print xml publisher report in excel format in R12

We are unable to print xml publisher report in excel format in R12. We were able to see the excel output but it's printing junk characters while printing and it's printing without any issue with PDF format.
