Publish videos to Facebook

Has anybody been able to upload any videos to Facebook via Lightroom's publish?
I go to the Lightroom Publishing Manager, and in the middle it says, "Videos will not be uploaded into this album. Facebook organizes them under "My Videos". OK, but it doesn't have an option for selecting that album.

Have you Authorized to facebook first? please post the screenshots of the publishing manager.

For some reason I am getting a prompt from facebook after I try to upload a video to facebook. I am clicking on one of my videos rt:4:23 - first I am
clicking on choose file on facebook and when I go to Finder I click on my compressed file to upload to facebook and it tells me the file is bad or something
to that effect. I am clicking on an icon that is just under another larger clip icon-sort of looks like an outline. I don't get it. Thanks.

Will your file open in QUick Time? If it will, open the Inspector (command i) and post a screen shot of what it says about your file.

Merely clicking the Preview icon in the Dock doesn't cause it to open anything, unless you had one or more windows open the last time it quit.
If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder should open. If there is more than one item in the folder with the words "Flash Player" (not "flashplayer") in the name, open the respective Info windows, check the version numbers, and delete all except the latest. You may be prompted for your login password. If you get the same error after doing that, re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from this page:

Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
2. If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select

Macbook pro cannot play videos on facebook, any solutions?

My macbook pro cannot play videos on facebook, but I installed adobe flash and I can see youtube videos and others. My version is OS X 10.8 when I bought it few days ago, and I just upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion.

When posting a video to Facebook from Camera app, how can I see the upload progress?

Normally I use the ProCamera app to upload photos and videos from my iPhone 5S but I'm having trouble with it lately so I switched the standard Camera app to post a video to Facebook. I know it successfully posted, I received a notification after a while but is there any way to tell the progress of an upload in Camera? ProCamera displays an uploading message at least but I don't see anything in the Camera app.

Did you have 'find my iPhone' activated on it? Because if you go to iCloud.com you can log in there and you can remotely lock or wipe your device. From what I hear, the police won't do anything about going and fetching stolen iPads and iPhones, but if you have find my iphone/ipad/ipod/mac turned on then it will give you a map of where it is.
Just keep in mind that sometimes iTunes does ask you for your password regardless, and only a few weeks ago apple brought in security questions, so everyone had to fill in security questions for their iTunes account to make it more secure If all else fails, ring Apple cusomer support and they might be able to bar your account or something, however you may have to make a new account (the might be able to set it up so you have all your previous information on a new account)

Can I fix that just doing the upgrade for the Yosemite?

Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

I'm try to up load video on facebook for 3 days now and it shows that My video was encoding, but now it’s gone , every time video is 48.5 MB , 1 min and 40 sec it's small formate (.m4v) the problem with my macbook not facebook as i tried to upload with HP laptop it works My macbook is Mac OS X version 10.7.2 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5

I have never seen any Adobe posted limits for the Premiere Elements upload to Facebook feature, but....
In the following online article posted about a year ago, the responder makes a distinction between Facebook
unverified and phone-verified accounts.
Unverified account limit = 100 MB 10 minutes
Phone-verified account limit = 1024 MB 20 minutes

I suspect that the unverified account limit is what can be used in the Premiere Elements feature within the program
and not the phone-verified one which can probably just be used for uploads to Facebook at the Facebook web site. But I do
not know for sure at this time. There is a similar situation that exists with YouTube with its regular and extended time accounts
and when and where you can use them. YouTube, I know first hand. I am not involved with Facebook in anyway.
If that online article of over a year ago is correct for now....your 843 MB 3 minutes 45 seconds failed on file size if your account
is one of those unverified ones. You could look into the Facebook phone-verified accounts to see if that resolves any of
your Facebook issues.
If you are exporting in Premiere Elements to a file saved to the hard drive for upload to Facebook at the Facebook web site, you might consider lowering the bitrate under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the export preset to decrease the file size but still maintain quality.

Cannot watch videos on Facebook all of a sudden. Just happened in last few days

I cant see videos on facebook because it prompts (on facebook) that I do not have the latest version of Abobe Flash Player. I do have Flash Player since It came with my Windows 8.
I made sure the "Active X" is NOT checked in the drop down window, and also made sure the "Shockwave Flash Object" is ENABLED in the 'Manage Ad-Ons' menu.
This error has occured in the last few days for no reason apparent to me.
Also, after running the checks and troubleshooting from the Adobe help pages, It says I do indeed have Flash Player and no need to update or upgrade, Yet at the same time, says it is not enabled after I have followed all steps to enable it.
When I "Test Flash Player" from the Adobe test page, it says: Either flash player is disabled or active x filter is on.
When I try to download the update for windows 8 64 bit machine, It says its already on my computer.
Can anyone help?

The same as uploading a photo with the FaceBook app.
Assuming for a video that was captured by your iPhone and available in the Camera Roll, select Photo from within the FaceBook app. Options are:
Take Photo or Video.
Choose From Library.
Select Choose From Library. Select Camera Roll. Select the video in the Camera Roll
Follow the prompts from there.

Such damage is not covered by your warranty, so you may wish to determine what it will cost to fix it before you do anything. Take it to a local Apple retailer for service.

New ipad wont play videos on facebook

i have the NEW IPAD (4G) and whenever i try to view videos on FACEBOOK, it wont play.
It opened a browser and a play icon appears.
I was able to play it on my laptop and saw the video without problem.

It's likely that those particular videos require Flash Player to view. Adobe discontinued supporting Flash Player for mobile devices a year ago, so you can't view those videos on your iPad. You CAN view them on a laptop because Flash Player for computers still works fine. This has been discussed endlessly on this Forum.
