Publish warning message in SRM ITS

Hello Friends
We are implementing SRM 5.0 & want to publish warning message in SRM ITS.
Could anybody guide me how we can do it for web browser.

Do your check - according to your function rule(s) - in method BBP_DOC_CHECK from BAdI BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for object type BUS2200.
Then, populate or not exporting table ET_MESSAGES with blocking or warning message: this message will be displayed at user's bottom screen.

We are on SRM 7.1 ECS.
Whenever account assignment category is changed before ordering a cart,a std warning message is displayed "Enter a value in the mandatory field in account assignment" which is very annoying.Is there any way this message can be stopped to be displayed in the SC screen?

We are on SP SAPK-70105 for SRM SERVER 701 .I dont undsratnd how this correction came in to our system.
I'm assuming the corrections of note 1607395 are in the system and hence this message.How do I avoid this message?I tried adding it to table BBPV_PDMSG but that didnt help.

Warning message in ITS MOBILE

Hello,
In ITS Mobile after entering user name and password it takes me to LM00 transaction.
But before LM00 transaction is displayed I get 4 warning messages. I need to press OK/Close for each message. The same warning message appears when I move between transaction in the RF Menu also. I don't get any warning message if I test the same in the internet explorer in desktop.
Below is the warning message displayed:
Warning message u2018Microsoft Jscript runtime error, Line:304, Character:1, Error: Object doesnu2019t support this property or method, Source :(Null)u2019
I use handheld MC9090 with Windows Mobile 5.

Is the logon screen the ITSmobile logon screen? It sounds like your system is configured to use the standard logon, which would result in a javascript error on some mobile browsers. Please go to SICF and make sure that your service's settings are the same as for the itsmobile00 service.

BI Publisher report ends with Warning Message for Pivot type reports..

Hi,
I had used BI reporting(xml publisher) to develop our all reports and registered in R12 and works fine for all the tabular/forms type reports but it fails with the warning message(colored in yellow) for Pivot type reports. The output comes in xml..
When I changed the pivot table type report to tabular it comes with pdf. No issues.I do not know how to solve this issue...

SRM 7.0 SP9 Timezone warning message

We are currently testing SRM 7.0 for implementation in JUly. We occassionally get a Timezone warning message, that seems to go away depending on the product/vendor being selected. The warning message says: Timezone MSTNO is not valid in country XX, we get this for US as well. In transaction STZGC, we do have MSTNO set for US AZ. MSTNO is also our system time. Does anybody know where this error is coming from and what it means?

This should be solved with note 1505591. However this note is not released for all customers.
Open an SAP message assigned to component BC-SRV-ADR and SAP will check if this note can be released for you.

I upgraded to Mavericks. Everything went smoothly. But now Excel is giving all of its warnings in what I believe is Chinese. As an example I update a file, close it, and the warning message about saving is in Chinese. Anybody else encounter this?

SSIS package fails with the error as given below. But its warning messages are incorrect.

My SSIS package loads data from access database to SQL Server database.
It's a straight copy. It fails with the below warnings and error message as shown below:
Error messages:
[OLE DB Source [113]] Error: There was an error with OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output].Columns[RetentionID] on OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output]. The column status returned was: "Text was truncated or one or more characters had no
match in the target code page.".
[OLE DB Source [113]] Error: The "OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output].Columns[RetentionID]" failed because truncation occurred, and the truncation row disposition on "OLE DB Source.Outputs[OLE DB Source Output].Columns[RetentionID]"
specifies failure on truncation. A truncation error occurred on the specified object of the specified component.
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC020902A. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure
code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
There are 3 warning messages even before I run the package. Warnings are all about the mismatch between the source and destination column sizes.
I cross checked the source and destination column sizes. The destination column sizes are fairly high than the source column sizes.
It worked well all the while and when we are going to pre-prod it is throwing errors. Any help is highly appreciated.

Please check if the dev destination table has same column data types and size as compared with pre prod table

SRM-Contract Management-Switching off Warning Message

Hello Experts,
We would like switch it off message " contract can not be used : Target value XXXX exceeds contract value XXXX"
I have noticed this message is triggering from BBP_PD 560 and 561. I have switched off in maintaince view BBPV_PDMSG and as well as message control in SPRO but still I am getting warning message during PO creation.
We don't want to get warning message during PO creation even though contract value exceeded.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Based on the message which I am getting and find that this message is trigeering from bbp_pd 560 and 561. Can you please confirm whether it is triggering from there or any different message.

Windows 7 computers show a Valid Trust Anchor warning message when connecting to corporate wireless

We are currently using EAP-TLS Microsoft:Smart Card or certificates" as the Authentication Method on our Radius/NPS server for authenticating domain laptops to be enable to connect to corporate wireless network.
We have a Windows 2003 Root& Issuing CA which has published computer certificates to all the domain laptops/workstations. We have also setup a parallel PKI ( Root and Issuing CA) setup on Windows 2012 OS in the same domain.
This Windows 2012 ISsuing CA has also deployed computer certificates to a cpl of testing domain workstations. So the end result, each of these testing workstations has 2 computer certificates in its PERSONAL Store for client/server auth (1)
One issued by the Windows 2003 CA (2) Other cert issued by the Windows 2012 CA.
We are noticing that windows 7 laptops are throwing a warning message similar to as shown below . I have verified that the ROOT certificate coming from both the CA's described above, is present in the ROOT TRUSTED CERTIFICATION AUTH Store on each of these
Windows 7 laptops. Surprisingly, we don't get this same warning on Windows 8 or 8.1 laptops.
Also, if i hit the CONNECT button, i am able to connect to the wireless,
but then i don't see the "Security " Tab anymore under properties of the wireless profile (SSID). I found on some forums to click on the Security Tab and further click on "SETTINGS" and check if the ROOT CA cert is present
in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities” list, . I dont get these options anymore after connecting.
These options do show up on Windows 8 machines after connecting.

Need to remove "Budget warning Message"

Hi friends,
I have customer requirement that customer want that message should not display .
no budget is maintained but still this warning message is comming in the shopping cart screen in additional specification .
Can any body suggest me how to remove this message in nots for approval
Path : SRM 5.0 in Monitoring shopping cart->define search -> select any shopping cart-> additional Specification :

I am still waiting for solution....
I dont want to deactivate budget check.
Problem is related that in the message is showing incorrect value of budget. While changing shopping card its not comparring the budget value from R/3 system.
In R/3 FM is used to fetch budget information but every time its giving me same vale for diffrent GL account.
Can any body helo me on this.

How to remove the warning messages in CODE INSPECTOR of my report......?

Hi All,
I am trying to do the check to my program i.e CODE INSPECTOR. i am seeing the following warning messages below.
1 warning message
Program zraj0xxx include zraj0xxx row 000083 Column0000
%LINR-VBUP contains a hyphen
(The Hyphen is used as a dereferencing operator! )
Note: when i double click on the above message its taking me to the below code of my program.

First warning message.

Here you are not supposed to use hyphen but instead use '_'.
Second warning message
Program zraj0xxx include zraj0xxx row 000079 Column0000
Field string VLPMA is not referenced statically in the program
That means you are not using this VLPMA any where in your program so bettr delete fromt he Top Include.
Note: when i double click on the above message its taking me to the below code of my program.
Third warning message
Program zraj0xxx include zraj0xxx row 000001 Column0000
TEXT- GOH from the text pool is not used.
this also means that you are not using this Text elemnt anywhere of your program.So delete this one also.

Warning message in mir4 while posting

hi friends ,
In miro while we post the parked document then it display the warning message as "RG23 Part II posting not yet done" , when we click on enter , the document is posting . But the user wants that as an error message not the warning message. So please tell me in what way i can get the solution.

1. Setting up Vendor/Customer is OK to get net balance as you said
2. Spl GL account to track share capital also seems OK
3. For grants, there is a specific functionality under PSM (Public Sector Management) component of FSCM... I guess, this is added in EhP4.. I am not sure if it was there earlier as well
Fund Mngt can also be tried for funds mngt, but am not too sure... Its better to use the specific functionality
4. Regarding budgeting in CO, it can not be on individual GL accounts.. To have budget on GL accounts, you need to activate Funds MNgt.... Std budgetary control in CO is @ Internal Order Level

Warning Message in query result as 'Notification Number DBMAN 345'

Hi ,
I have a warning message while executing the query
'Diagnosis
Currently, it cannot be guaranteed that SIDs and master data exists for all characteristic attributes for the DataStore object to be read.
There is a restriction on a navigation attribute of the listed characteristic in the query. This filters all characteristic values of the master-data bearing characteristic for which there is not yet master data out of the result.
For performance reasons, this filtering is unavoidable.
System Response
Procedure
In case of doubt, find other restirctions directly on the characteristic values of the characteristics contained in the DataStore object.

'i am getting this error because of cutomer exit variables on navigatioanl attributes of Omaterial'
I tried supressing it in RSRT.. but unable to find the message.
I tried debugging and assigning enhancement points in FM BAL_LOG_MSG_READ.. As it is standard function module its not suggestable to do..
can we creat custom FM ?? will it be called if we write code to supress warning message??
Please let me know how to use BADI'S in order to supress the error message that appearing in query result?

Hi,
The warning is raised due to the following reasons:
- you have a selection in the filter of a navigation attribute
- in your DSO you do not use the option "SIDs Generation upon Activation"
If the option "SIDs Generation upon Activation" is not flagged,
you may get char.values for an Infoobject in the system not
having any SIDs. As a result you may see in the report less data as
expected.
For example we have Infoobject A with its Nav.attribute B
Infoobject A   Nav.attribute B
12             13   ->> has a SID in the X-table
11             10
9              13   ->> has no SID in the X-table
If you define a selection on B =13 in the query, you only get infoobject
A with key 12 displayed in the result, since only B =13 has a SID
in the relevant X-table.
The warning refers to this behaviour and cannot be avoided unless you:
   - flag the option in the ODS-settings
   - or remove the filter defined on 0MATERIAL__xxxx

Warning message in VT01 or 02n Shipment completion

II am trying to create a warning message when Pressing the Shipment completion button in VT01 or 02n Transaction.
Standard Activity profile does not have any area to enter a custom Formula or Routine that will help the developer to enter the logic. Also I donu2019t want to use output type to trigger work flow that will call the required program - it will be too data heavy.
Case: We use a Packaging Unit that basically is used to determine the Total, tare and loaded weight (HU in Shipments). The delivery assigned to the Shipment has its item QTY which should be within the Loaded weight of the handling unit. Hence need some sort of pop up or warning message that will inform on Shipment completion u2013 any help or ideas

Best option here is to use user exit in shipment to create pop up.
