Publish without mobileme - just update the header?
Hi
I already have my own webspace, so have decided against using mobileme.
I have added and also deleted a page from my iWeb website. I published the new site to a folder, uploaded the new page to my webspace and removed the one I didn't want any more. All that went smoothly.
So now all that is outstanding is to update the header to reflect the new navigation links (both pages had/have navigation links on the header).
I have uploaded the new Script folder, and the Media folder. I have uploaded the new Welcome_Files, the welcome.html, feed.xml & index.html. The header still won't show the changes.
I've double checked that the folder I published to, displays the new header correctly, it does.
This is driving me mad. Please help !!
Yes - the South America folder I have is huge - takes forever to upload, and the connection never stays up that long, so it ends up in a bit of a mess. That is my back up plan though.
I just hoped that ever time I make a small(ish) change I didn't have to upload the whole site again.

Don't know where to get help. I just updated the software and I am having issues with not being able to update Aps or install new ones. The circles just spin and Aps just say "waiting." I tried running a diagnostic with the apple store and it came back with "power issues" (?) as a result. It wouldn't let me select an option to see what steps I could take to fix it, it just backed out of the page. I just don't know what to do.....

Thank you for your reply, I did go to my general settings, but for some odd reason I don't have a restrictions setting, or a reset setting. I thought I could reset all the setting to see if it could be that, but as I said there aren't any.
My husband also has the iPad 2, and also did the software update and hasn't had any problems at all. I took both iPad's and compared the settings thinking maybe there could be a setting that could have been changed when the update was done. -

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move the com.apple.PrinterPrefs.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac, restart the printer... -
i just updated the facebook app for my ipod touch and now it wont open and i tried restarting the ipod and also re downloading the app several times and nothing.. any help? thanks!

ALL of your music should be on your computer in itunes. Is it not?
How did it get on your ipod in the first place if not from your comptuer?
Everything on your ipod should be on your computer and you should be syncing regularly. -
I have more than a 100 apps which I do not use but are there in my iTunes library! My iPhone has only a few (40) updates. As I am not allowed to use office wi-fi to download or update my phone apps, I want to use iTunes on my PC for the same. But I do not want to waste time searching for the apps on my phone and then update it using iTunes. Also, I do not want to update all the apps in my iTunes Library as there are more gthan 100. Can anyone suggest me a method where I can just update the apps that are on my phone using iTunes??
I have the latest iTunes installed.Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

I just Updated the iOS on my iPhone 4 from 4.3.1 to the latest update, (after backing up my data on iTunes) and now the iPhone says I have 0bytes available and need to delete some photos or videos.. I have tried deleting content from my iPhone, as well as re-setting it, and nothing works. What could be the problem?
Try hold down Power and Home buttons for 10 to 15 seconds.

I have just updated the i06 software for my iPad and it will not connect to my home wifi network - all my other devices are able to connect to my wifi network.
I have attempted all troubleshooting actions suggested and nothing has worked. I have restored my iPad network and factory settings - Please help - this is frustrating meyou have to set up your router to solve th problem. first find and write down the ipad mac address.
then log on to your router using your laptop or any device that can connect to router at 192.168.0.1 in your web browser. please check out my posting about how to resolve the wifi connection problem.
i think the ios6 update has reset the networking but if you set up the router then you should not have the same problem any more. -
I have just updated the operating system on my ipad2 to iso7. Big mistake. It is ugly and unpleasant to use, and the Safari element comes loaded with icons I will not be using, but can't seem to get rid of. Does anybody know how to change the operating system back to the previous one?
Thanks.Firstly, the icons when you load safari are your bookmarks in the favourite section. To remove them you can simply either delete them or move them to another bookmark folder. To access your bookmarks tap the blue book in the top right corner and then go through to bookmarks and select and edit from there, goodluck :)

Hi, Yes, I bought new sim (64k) from Airtel gallery...and now i'm on version 5.1.1...Sometimes it works but if i turn on the 3g then the network went down and showing me a "NO SERVICE" error...i have to wait till the network come...it's a headche..I think i have to go again in gallery and want to ask for new sim with 128k...Any suggestions on this plz?

What has happened to 'Locate Images' in ID CS6?
Does anyone know what has happened to 'Locate Images' in ID CS6? In CS5.5 when re-linking images which were missing InDesign used to highlight the image provided it was available in the folder, presumably to help out when you have folders of images.
