Published Page not visible

I am new to Dreamweaver and I recently inherited our website to maintain, using Dreamweaver CS3.  I made some updates to a page but after I "put" them the changes are not visible.  Here is what happens; If I go the our website to view the page, hover over the main menu for the page, then scroll down and pick the page the page is unchanged.  If I then click on any other page then go back to the page I changed, my changes show fine...not sure what I am doing wrong that the changes are not posted immediately.
Please feel free to check it out.  www.brattonsteel.com, hover over products, click stair systems.  If you see my changes, you will see three names, phone numbers and email address near the top.  If you don't see them, click a different page, then go back to the stair systems page and you will see them.
Thank you,
David

  • Blog Page Not visible after upload

I just added a blog page to my existing site. The file shows up in remote server but is not visible when I go to my website.  Any suggestions?

Test your site by publishing to a local folder...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/iWeb/Publish-Website.html
... and launch it in the browser by double clicking the index.html file.
If this version works OK then it means that you have not uploaded all the required files to the server or they are not in the correct place.
Do an Option-Command-A in Safari to see if all the files are present in the Activity window.

It is clearly mentioned in this document that ,
<i>To index the PCD repository, always choose the Portal Roles Search service. Do not choose the services TREX Search or TREX Search and Classification, because these services index the entire PCD. Thus, the search results would also contain iViews and portal pages that are not part of the role of the logged-on user. This ensures error-free navigation.</i>

  • WRV210 Administration pages not visible in Internet Explorer

I recently updated my firmware in my WRV210 router to Version 2.0.1.5 which is the most recent on Cisco's download page. After upgrading the firmware, I found that some of the administration pages do not appear to load correctly in internet explorer version 9.0.5. For example, the ADMINISTRATION -> MANAGEMENT page has data but to see the data, I have to scroll down about 3 pages. All five entries under STATUS do not have any data visible at all which is typical for most of the other administration pages.  An image of the Status Router page is inserted below.   I have logged in to the administration pages with an old version of Firefox 3.0.14 and the pages are visible. The operating system that I am running is Windows 7 64bit.
I haven't run across any other entries like on this or other sites.  Are there any known solutions to this?

I have a WRV210 at a client site, and after upgrading to firmware 2.0.1.5 I've noticed the same behaviour.  Upon inspection of the HTML I notive the right-pane-content area contains a
element right before the form begins.  This tag was intended to hold a background image/style for the content area, probably white or at least some colour other than the already blue page background.  It has a defined width and height of 1000px * 2622px;  If I remove the and re-render the page, the form displays at the top.  So it seems this was supposed to encompass the form, but instead because it self-terminates, precedes it with a vacant space 2622px high;  It seems then that this is indeed a bug, in many pages.
I've also noticed that the web server on this router is annoyingly slow, though I can't remember if it's any slower than the previous firmware revision.  I, like many, purchase Cisco products for the promise of higher quality, greater stability, and better support/documentation/community than other competing manufacturers.  Sometimes you win....

  • Shortcuts on ain page not visible

Sometimes shortcuts to internet pages are not visible. They are there and they work but i can't see them. I have nokia 930. Am I the only one?

    Hi prundorfa,
    Welcome to the forum!
When you say shortcuts, you're referring to mobile websites that you pinned to the phone's start screen, right? Does the issue happen to all website shortcuts you have in your phone, or to particular ones only? Do you also mean that the shortcuts are on the phone, but they are hidden? Provide us more details about the issue so we can easily search for the solution to your concern. If possible, share some screenshots or videos of the issue for reference.
    We'll wait for your reply.

Help ... I just bought a used imac M5521 ... it works perfect except when I try to go some pages on the internet they are huge! but other pages are just fine .. i don't know how to fix this and i'm not sure about using IE on a mac anyway ... how can change my browser to safari or firefox? the apple page is not visible on my imac ... any suggestions????

There is no Safari or Firefox for Mac OS 9.
This (below) is the best you can do for web browsing under Mac OS 9. It's a special build of Mozilla 1.3.1.
    http://www.wamcom.org/
Still not up-to-date by any means, but a lot better than IE5.

  • IWeb published "page not found"

I've created a site in iWeb 2, published to a folder on my desktop & uploaded it to A Small Orange's web servers using Cyberduck. But when I try to view the site with either Safari or Firefox, I get the dreaded "404 page not found" message.
Tech support at A Small Orange is not especially helpful & said "The problem is that your index.html redirects to a file welcome.php in the RobertsFine_ArtPrints folder. the welcome.php files does not exist."
I asked what can be done about this & they said "If the files were generated by IWeb then you need to ask them why your files are not setup properly.
Im sorry but there is no way that we can give you code that we do not have. This issue lays with your your site is coded."
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Robert

I replied only to Ethmoid's response not to the entire thread, as I should have. My bad.
Here's my reply to your replies:
I uploaded the folder Robert Wells Fine Prints, which contained both the index.html file and the Robert Wells Fine Prints folder created by iWeb when I published. In Cyberduck, I uploaded them to the public_html on Small Oranges servers.
I uploaded the whole RWFP folder created by iWeb all at one time.
Ethmoid asked: "How did you manage to get a php file when iWeb does not support this? If you have created your site in iWeb, you welcome page should be Welcome.html and nothing like php."
I have no idea how I did this, but it looks like I screwed it up pretty good. Could it have anything to do with the fact that at some point in this process (not sure when) I changed the site's name. Originally, I was going to call it Robert's Fine Art Prints, but that got changed to Robert Wells Fine Prints. Though I have no idea if this has anything to do with my current problem.
Things have gotten worse. Thinking I did something wrong & could fix the problem by re-uploading, I deleted the files from the server and tried again. Now, most of the image files are failing to upload in Cyberduck.
Chuck Usher asked "When you publish to a folder I believe you get a folder and a separate index.html file. did you up load both and address the index file? What is the site address? "
Yes, you get an index.html and a folder of supporting documents. I uploaded both at the same time. The address is supposed to be robertwellsfineprints.com but it doesn't work.
    Thoughts appreciated.

  • BI Publisher Tab not visible in Windows 2007 with Windows 7 64 bit Config

    Hi All,
I was working with BI Publisher till last week in my system having windows 7 64 bit edition with Windows Word 2007 installed. When i started my work on Tuesday this week, i was not able to see the BI publisher Tab in the Word. But it's visible in Excel. I tried looking in to the forum and got solutions such as Enabling Macros, Enabling the Trust Access to VBA Project Model and Re installing Word and BI Publisher.I tried everything but still the issue is not resolved.
I dont find any *.exd file present in my system to prevent the Add-Ins from displaying. I'm not sure what update had made the BI Publisher to be hidden. Please let me know if you any suggestion or workaround as my project is in critical state with strict deadlines.
    Thanks,
    Bala Maheshwaran

If you cannot show the BI Publisher Macros in Word :
    1.     You have to uninstall the BI Publisher desktop
    2.     Install the BI Publisher as (Right-click on the "Command Prompt" item and select "Run as administrator".)
    3.     If you cannot show the BI Publisher macros and in word options show TBmenu as disable you have to do :
    4.     Click the Microsoft Office Button , click Word Options, and then click Add-Ins.
    5.     In the Add-ins box, identify the add-in that you want to enable and note the Add-in type located in the Type column.
    6.     Select the Add-in type in the Manage box and then click Go
    7.     Select the check box for the Add-in that you want enable and then click OK.
    8.     Close the word
    9.     Reopen the word , than appear the BI Publisher

  • "Edit" Button on Publishing Page Not Working

I have a publishing site which has been upgraded from 2010 to 2013 and if I click the "Edit" button in the top right or in the ribbon nothing happens. If I check the page out first then the buttons work. The expected behavior is that it should
check the page out as part of the edit operation and I see this working fine on other publishing sites that are virtually identical to the ones that are failing. When I compare the source of the pages of one that does not work and one that does work I see
that there are a few key differences:
sp.ui.pub.ribbon.js and sp.publishing.resources.resx are loaded on the site that is working but not the one that is failing
JavaScript variables such as pullPageVariation, l_ur_plsWait, l_ur_rfct, etc., are defined on the page that works but not the one that fails.
A JavaScript block which adds functions such as PublishingRibbonUpdateRibbon(), EnsurePublishingConsoleActionScripts(), etc. is loaded on the site that works but not the one that fails.
There are other differences but I believe these are the relevant ones. In reflecting some code that handles the Edit button I can see that this missing pieces are key but I've not been able to determine why they're missing. I've looked at the delegate controls
that are registered for AdditionalPageHead and there is no difference from the site that works compared to the site that doesn't. Note that I also found that the same exact site upgraded in two different environments (dev and production) had different results
    - one worked, the other didn't. Taking a backup of the site that was not working and restoring over the one that was (prod -> dev) resulted in dev now replicating the failure so I don't believe it's a farm specific thing but rather something about the content.
I reactivated all site collection and site features in case there was some odd issue with that and that made no difference.
Looking at the upgrade maintenance logs there was an error when attempting to activate the Translation feature which resulted in the PublishingSite feature having an incomplete upgrade status. Running the upgrade cmdlet again resulted in a successful upgrade,
at least according to the logs.
I'm at my wits end as to why this is not working and I would definitely appreciate any insights folks might have.

  • RDS 2012 R2 Collection - Published Remoteapps not visible

    Hello,
I have a strange issue with a RDS Deployment I´m setting up for a customer.
    RDS Roles setup:
Server1: RD Licensing / RD Gateway
Server2: RD Connection Broker / RD Sessions Host / RD Web Access
I´m all done with the LOB Apps as well as adding ~30 users and migrated their profiles, I have set up UPD etc. All is working great and I´m almost ready to take it into production...apart from this annoying thing.
I have created a Session Collection and published some remoteapps.
However when I log in to the rdweb site it doesn´t show the published Remote Apps.I have tried to unpublish / republish, reboot and so on to no avail.
How can I troubleshoot and solve this?
Sure I could delete the session collection and create a new one, but what will happen with the created UPDs that has all the customized settings for the users (store all ?
Can those be redeployed to the new Session Collection ?
Also, I cannot be sure that this will even fix the issue.
    Any advise are very welcome.
    Thx /Tony

    Hello Darmesh,
I did not assign any specific permissions, domain users is set. I ended up moving the RDGW role to the RDSH server though I know it´s not BPA. However this customer does not have more than one available Public IP. And as they wan´t to use both RDWeb and
RDP through RDGW that was the solution. Othern than that I had to fix 2 things in IIS on the RDSH.
    1. Change the RDWebAccess Application Pool identity from ApplicationPoolIdentity to NetworkService
    2. RDWeb/Pages-Applications
Settings, put in remote.company.com as value for "DefaultTSGateway
Volia it works. As a sidenote I also added the "reghack" ShowInPortal" value
1 so the full desktop connection is also available in the RDweb portal, not supported I know, but will keep it for now.
Any comments to this solution ?
    Thx /Tony

  • Published page not formatting correctly

After upgrading to iWeb 2 one of my several pages doesn't publish with the correct font and image placement. It looks fine in iWeb, but on the web it is all messed up. I've tried moving things around etc, and updating but it always ends up the same. Any ideas?
I also have the problem that the hit counters are not reporting on the dotMac home page.

There are over 30 errors in your html. IE is the worst offender when it comes to display problems stemming from invalid html.
Run your pages through this validator: http://validator.w3.org and take care of the errors. Once those are gone, it will likely come back and display correctly in IE. If it doesn't, please post a link to a live page on your server and someone here would be more than happy to find the issue for you.

  • Deployed Custom Master Page Not Visible in Designer

My team has created a custom master page and has packaged and deployed it as a feature. The custom master page file correctly appears in the master pages gallery via the Web UI, but it's not showing up in the Master Pages folder when the site is opened
in Designer. What are we missing?

    Hi,
when the master page was deployed by a sandbox solution please make sure that the master page is checked in and approved. SharePoint doesn't check in and approve files that was deployed by a sandbox solution. Also make sure that the correct content type
is assigned. because otherwise you won't see it too.
To set the content type of the master page on deployment correct you just need to simply add the following inside the <file>
    <Property Name="ContentType" Value="$Resources:cmscore,contenttype_masterpage_name;" />
If the master page is a farm  you should also add the content type but it will be checked in automatically. I hope you are on root level of your site collection because the master page will not deployed to the sub sites.
In SharePoint Designer you also have two different approaches to find the master page.
    Approach 1:
Use the Master Page Entry on the navigation pane left. The Master Page will only show up if content type ins correctly set.
    Approach 2:
Go to "All Files" -> _catalogs -> masterpage
By using approach two you will see the same amount of files that you can review in SharePoint. You will also find the article pages in there.
    Hope this helps
    Kind regards

  • Robohelp 11 - updates to web page not visible in Firefox...ok in other browsers

    Hi
We use Robohelp 11 to create help pages.
Often we notice that when we make changes and republish a page, the changes take a while to be visible in Firefox and Chrome, but tend to be immediately visible in Internet Explorer.
On this occasion we changed a page around two months ago (updated links for new embedded YouTube videos). I can see the new videos in Chrome and IE, but still see the old videos in Firefox 31.0, despite having cleared my cache.
Worried that users won't see updates.
    Anyone experienced similar?
    thanks

  • Weird Save as... issue - New page not visible on site

Wasn't sure what to call this thread, but I'll try my best to explain....
Basically, I have a site which uses a database to show details of safari lodges in Africa, for example here:
    http://www.goodsafariguide.com/campkalahari/
So far so good - all working as it should.
However, we are moving the existing site to a new domain, www.goodsafariguide.net.
So I set up the new site definition in DW, copied all the files across, and uploaded them to the new domain. Pretty painless so far:
    http://www.goodsafariguide.net
However, something with the database isn't playing ball - it should have been painless, as the two domains are hosted on the same reseller account, and so share the database. But the lodge pages were drawing a blank, for example:
    http://www.goodsafariguide.net/alfajiri/
I've been working backwards to see what's causing the issue, and got a page working (minus the contact form):
    http://www.goodsafariguide.net/campkalahari/index101.php
So I figured I could at least get most of the pages back simply by saving as... and changing the LodgeID to the relevant ID for each lodge. But when I tried that, those pages were not showing.
I've now tried literally just opening that /index101.php page, and saving it as /index102.php, not changing a thing, and uploading it.
    But that's not even appearing:
    http://www.goodsafariguide.net/campkalahari/index102.php
Sorry that was a bit long winded, but does anyone have any clue what might be getting messed up here?
    Thank you!

Just to say I spotted the issue - was out of disk space and bandwidth for the account - it just threw me as it cropped up as an issue in the middle of me trying to figure out the original issue.

  • Web service published but not visible

    Hi,
I have developed a Webservice from a WSDL file i created from a XI outbound interface following the steps given in the thread below.
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/11/17/xi-how-to-publish-wsdl-generated-from-xi-to-uddi
In the UDDI Client i got the message that the WS has been successfully published but i am not able to view my Web Service in the WS Navigator.
What is the procedure to view a WS published using the UDDI client? is there any direct url to view the WS?

This is the url inside my WSDL:

If i try the URL i get this :

      <SOAP:Header />
    - <SOAP:Body>
    - <SOAP:Fault xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
