Published site comes up blank

Hello Everyone,
I created a site in iWeb with all the updates. I published to a folder, than transferred the files to my webserver using Cyberduck via FTP. Everything except the .plst file transferred correctly, but when I go to my domain, the page comes up completely blank. What really confuses me is that the page source shows nothing either. I've tried several things including asking my web server provider (iPower.com) if they support iWeb sites and they claim they do. I've done web design for a couple years, but recently switched to Mac and iWeb. My domain is www.theslabaughs.com
Any help is appreciated!

Some web pages come up blank, generally following a link, that have opened without issues in earlier FF versions. Pages open OK in IE8 and/or in Chrome. Have tried the cookies clearing etc as suggested elsewhere, without success.

I'm running FF 3.6.8. Certain websites (no apparent pattern, no secure sites) come up blank (white screen), showing "Done" on the footer. It generally happens when clicking on a link in another web page but no login or similar is involved to get to the intended site. Have cleared the cookies and followed the advice for a similar issue stated elsewhere on the Help forum, to no avail. Have also not added any add-ons since that recent FF upgrade.
The affected sites have come up without issues in earlier FF versions, and they do load in IE8 and in Chrome. A representative example is shown below. - Will appreciate any helpful comments and recommendations!

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" 
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" 
 
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If I go to File --- Published site it is blanked out and will not open.
I am using FTP

Have you published the site before? Do you have any changes in the site that cause a page icon to display red? Have you entered the correct ftp information in the Publish to window?

Some mail programs, including Apple Mail, can reduce the size of images that are attached to a message. It's happening at the sender's end, and all you can do is ask the sender for a larger image.

All websites come up blank screens except Gmail site.

When ever I click on a web site, it comes up a blank screen. Internet connection is excellent and the gmail web site comes up fine and I can check email. When an email has a link, it comes up blank as well.
This is on my laptop using Windows 7.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

How come my comments are visible in iweb but not on published site?

I published my site (after many frustrating attempts and publish errors) and had allowed comments. I made a blog entry and published to .mac and found out from a friend that that particular entry didn't have an option to add a comment. I tried to republish many times - I don't know how it happened but the comment option showed up eventually. I had the same thing happen again today so I tried publishing again but this time I tried publishing to a folder. Not sure if this caused the problem but now one comment on the blog disappeared and the rest are only visible in iweb and not on the published site - on the published site there isn't an opportunity to add comments where they used to be. Can I get the comments back on my site?

Oh, rats. Do I need to remove the folder that I published to? I'm not even sure where to find it. I have republished successfully with the comments still in iweb but they don't show up on-line. I'd really like to get them back on if possible.

New tab does not come up blank but shows firefox unable to bring up web site in box

You won't see the SearchReset extension in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" because the code only run once and the extension automatically uninstalls itself, so this is expected behavior.
You can check for problems with preferences and rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.

You can try to create a new profile or reset Firefox.

If you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some of your data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and your current profile will be moved to the desktop (Old Firefox Data).
You will lose extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you've made.
It is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be cautious to avoid carrying over the problem.

Publish Site Changes causes website to fail

I have just redesigned my entire website using iWeb 09. It's a photo website, so publishing the entire website each time is just not feasible for bandwidth considerations, and why should I anyway?
The problem is that whenever I use the Publish Site Changes option, it causes my website to no longer load. It just sits at a blank page and appears to be cycling over and over and over, but never actually loading anything.
I don't want to have to located yet another piece of FTP software to do what iWeb is supposed to do out of the box.
The only way to fix this issue that I can fix is to go back and publish the entire website. it's eating up my bandwidth on GoDaddy.
The site I use with them is a LINUX hosted site, not Windows.
I can't find any help in the forums, so if anyone has the fix, I'd love to hear it.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

Or you can download an already compiiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain. Run it to open your site and see if you can publish. If that doesn't help try the following:
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
launch iWeb and try again.

Publishing Site template problems

Has anyone come across this. Can you offer some insight.
A site collection administrator has created a new site using the Publishing site template.
Not long after the site is created, all sites under that web application slows down. At first all users noticed the problem. However, after a while it only affects other site collection administrators and farm administrators. Other users don't see a problem.
We deleted the site and the issue went away.
After some testing we found that she could create the site with the blank site template and this didn't cause problems.
Another post was very helpful. It suggested that there was a problem with the draft version of the default.aspx. But why would it work with the blank site template?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can troubleshoot this.
The logs don't show very much. The only thing that led us to the problem was that the site kept showing up in the logs when i turned on verbose logging. I was going to try fiddler but I haven't been very successful using this in the past. Does anyone else
have any ideas.

As the web application stopped working after creating the publishing site, there might be some issue caused this case.
Could you please check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred?
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS.

Why is my published site not operational when using Firefox or IE?

The original problem I experienced had to do with the fact that my published site's navigation bar was totally missing on each page and replaced with a "period" as described by the following thread... http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9899999&#9899999
The weird thing is that this problem only exists when using IE or Firefox on a PC (at work). Site is 100% operational using Safari on a Mac (at home).
Thinking my iWeb files were corrupt, I uninstalled and reinstalled iWeb '08. After doing so, I republished my site. The good news: the nav bar is now present on each page and operational. The bad news: my photo pages and blog page have zero content other than the header banner and nav bar. Again, this problem only exists when accessing the published site using IE or Firefox on a PC. The site is fully operational and all photos/blog entries present when accessing the site using Safari on my Mac.
What gives? Did a recent iWeb update (intended for iWeb 09 users or intel-based macs) corrupt my iWeb '08 on my PowerBook G4?

Please note that Java and Javascript are not related. iWeb uses a lot
of Javascript, not Java. There may be some issues with the Javascript
generated by iWeb -- I don't know. If it seems to work for someone
and not for someone else then it is an issue at the browser end, not
the website end. Each browser may not be handling the Javascript in
exactly the same way. (You gotta love standards.)

After I publish IWeb, unwanted hyperlinks show up in the published site. How do I get rid of this worm?

I have noticed that no matter how hard I try to rid my published site of these hyperlinks (that I've never put in) certain words within the published site are highlighted and underlined and link to another source trying to sell something. I've never put this in and think there is some kind of virus or worm on my Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion. I've even deleted pages and started from scratch with a new page. They are still showing up and multiplying. HELP! I'm on a Windows computer right now and don't know how to take a screen shot to show you how it works. I hope my description is enough.

This has nothing to do with iWeb. These links are added on the server- probably due to the fact that you are using a "free" hosting service.
Contact your host to upgrade your account or choose another one with more appropriate facilities...

Creative Cloud install is crashing WINdows 8 explorer.exe and then the application manager comes up blank?

I download the Setup executable off of the site and run it, once Creative Cloud starts installing, my desktop and taskbar go black and don't respond, and then once the application manager is open, it attempts to load and then comes up blank - no menus, no downloads, just the logo, and the settings menu has no options in it either. I cannot get my address book to come up in yahoo, it comes up blank

Custom master page applying on Publishing site template not in my site template?

i have created a custom master page based on Publishing template Using Design manager (means converted html to aspx page) and then set all other control on the master page. now problem is master page applying only on Publishing site template not my site
template. any one know why its happening, and how can resolve this issue?
