Publisher Installation failed

Hi, I am installing a new CCMBE server and halfway during installation, I realised that I put the wrong IP address. Since I had no option to return back, I press on halt. I rebooted the server hoping that the installation will continue, but I am getting the following message: INSTALLATION FAILED. Restart install to recover from failure" Does anyone know how to restart the installation. Should I booot using the installation disk? or do I have to type a particular command? Please advise. Hi, in fact I had to restart the server using the installation DVD (from a previous post reply). Installation successful now.

Hi, Well I have always read that Repair Permissions need to be done on a Mac. Now if you've Uninstalled Flash Player and then Installed it according to that Guide, then I don't know what is wrong. All of the Apple discussions that I have read, stress that after the Install of Flash Player, the Repair Permissions must be used.
What exactly is happening? My understanding is that the Safari browser is defaulted to the 64bit and you need to use the 32bit browser. Also in Safari or whatever other browser you use, a Shockwave Flash plugin must be Enabled. Sometimes during an Uninstall/Install or even updating the Safari browser, this gets Disabled. So that would be something to check as well.
My knowledge is somewhat limited and what I do know is from other Mac Users or searching for info on my own:-)

Reinstalling CS5.5 Master Collection, Installation Failed

Hi! I just yesterday reinstalled my computer's OS and restored files via backup, only to realize none of my applications survived the transition. Most of them are back now, with the exception of CS5.5 Master Collection. I was able to download the product and locate my serial number on my account, and thought all was well.
Not quite. Installation fails about 10 seconds in, with message to restart and try again. Restarting doesn't help.
I looked in the install logs and pulled out the following warning and error messages:

Use Adobe Cleaner tool ( Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 ) to remove any / all remnants of the software.

Having trouble downloading InCopy.Installer failed to initialize

I am a freelance editor and need to install InCopy for an assignment. I have downloaded it via a link that was sent to me by my publisher. Every time I try to install the program, I get an error messages saying: "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file" I have downloaded the file multiple times and get the same message every time. I need this program up and running by Wednesday for an online tutorial where I'll learn how to operate the program. What am I doing wrong here? Please advise.

BI publisher installation into Oracle Express Edition

Hi,
i need help on BI publisher installation.
When i install BI publisher into oracle Express edition 10.2.1.0 version.
i chosen ADVANCED type it shows Please enter 10.3.1.0 ver or later ORACLE_HOME path...
if i choose BASIC type it shows error at 99% completion of BI screen....
After the EXIT screens, the ORACLE APEX pdf opens but error while opening it.
I want to know whether BI publisher 10.1.3 can support Oracle 10.2.1.0 version or not?
Could anyone Please help on this.

I have 10g installed on my server machine [windows 2003 -64-bit OS] and Oracle http apache installed and also Oracle Application Express 3.1.0.
I'm trying to install BI Publisher to integrate with Oracle APEX application for rendering PDF report from the application page report region download link,
by following the same url which you replied.
I downloaded and unzipped the files. when i click setup.exe installation started i haven choosen "basic type" it continues and i have given oc4j password and then it gives error at 99% of installation process.
Error log file contains :

Failed at "Could not get DeploymentManager".
This is typically the result of an invalid deployer URI format being supplied, the target server not being in a started state or incorrect authentication details being supplied.

You publish your LS App somewhere (even on your development machine) & run the setup program found in the folder that you publish to
Once the application is published, there'll be an icon in the Start Menu to run the application from. You can run the published application by clicking on the icon.
You can, but shouldn't, actually run the published application from the setup.exe file, but defintely not "vslchost.exe".

Cisco Unified Connection Manager IM and Presence installation fails

Hello everyone, we are trying to install laboratory uses the Cisco Unified Connection Manager IM and Presence version10.The installation fails after a warning where there is a popup that asks if it is the first node of the configuration.From the installation manual is not clear if this product should be installed in a cluster architecture (publisher-subscriber).What should be the steps to follow?
Something has to be done on the server where we have installed theCisco Unified Connection Manager?

Camera Raw 6.7 Update for Mac: Installation Failed error message. Update downloaded directly from Adobe website. Newly purchased Mac Workbook Pro, OS 10.10, using Photoshop CS5. Other updates successfully accomplished. Camera Raw 6.7 Update was downloaded multiple times with multiple installation attempts. Any recommendations?

thanks for the prompt response...i appreciate it. according to the link you listed, that's correct. the strange thing is that prior to the upgrad to mac os 10.8.4, photoshop CS5 was working just fine and i was able to open my canon raw files with my current camera raw plug-in version 6.7 which adobe has indicated is the last camera raw update they'll be offering for cs 5
so it's clearly an issue related to the "upgrade" of the os. seems like every solution creates 6 new problems...further evidence for the notion that if it ain't broke don't fix it! thanks again.

I purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements 13, but the installer fails to initialise. How do I get it to work?

I have Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10 installed on my PC. Both were installed from discs that I bought a few years ago. I recently purchased the upgrade (by download) for both applications to version 13. In accordance with the (scant) instructions received by email, I downloaded the four files required from the Adobe site. I subsequently ran the .exe files, which in turn created directories on my PC, including set-up.exe files for both applications. When I run the setup files, I get an error message stating that the installer failed to initialise. The error message advised me to download the Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. That tool does not exist. I then sought assistance from the Abobe support site, initially using the hyperlink suggestions, which were of no use, then using the chat function. The operator kept trying to get me to do something with something called 'Creative Cloud'; which I am not familiar with, and do not use. He then instructed me to download and run a CS5 cleaner tool; however, none of the choices offered by that tool include my issue, or either Photoshop Elements or Premier Elements. I am reluctant to uninstall version 10 of the programs in case I end up losing the lot and therefore wasting even more money than the purchase price for this upgrade.
All I want to do is upgrade my two applications from version 10 to version 13. I have paid the requisite fee but it clearly does not work. I appear to have totally wasted my money. Can anyone please tell me how to get it to work? I do not want to have anything to do with the so-called ‘Creative Cloud’ as I have no idea what it is, and I do not want to lose what I already have (and have paid for previously).
I have tried for a few days to access the so-called 24/7 chat assistance but appeared to have been locked out as every time I try to access it, I get a message that the (24/7) chat is closed. Adobe has taken my money for a product that does not work, and also refuse to help me fix it.
I am very frustrated with a product I bought that does not work, and a 24/7 support service that clearly is not 24/7, and which refuses to assist me. Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to get this to work? Rod.

What is the current version of Ps (Help->System Info), if you have 13.0.1.2 already applied then you need to re-install Ps to get Ps 13.1.2.
As 13.1.2 is a subscription patch this would not get applied over 13.0.1.2.
If this still does not resolves your issue, Kindly mail me installer logs.

Re-install on top of CS6 had to do that myself when I had perpetual CS6 installed and tried to update to Subscription version. Perpetual CS 6 13.0.1.3 Windows 13.0.6 Mac are different then 13.1.2 subscription version
