PUblishing an Iphoto slidehow- not working.

I followed the online instructions to try to publish my Iphoto slideshow on .mac (am a member). I click Edit, Select All but when I click Share, the .mac slides is not highlighted for me to select. I tried to drag the slideshow into Idisk or copy/save but none of them work. What's going on?
Also, once it's published, will it include the music?

If you are talking about a slideshow you have created with iPhoto that includes transitions and music, then you need to share>export that slideshow and choose the quicktime time in the export window. Once you set the dimensions export to the desktop. You must then put that slideshow in the Movies folder of your iDisk, then go to homepage and create a new Movie page from the templates. You should have the choice to add the movie from your movies folder to the template at that time. I must warn you that the movie will probably be too huge to be of any good to publish. If you used any purchased music from the iTMS then no one else will be able to hear the music or even play the slideshow.
.ma slides is entirely different than what you might think. This is where you select an album within iPhoto and go to share>mac slides.
The photos are uploaded to your idisk but are not seen by going to your homepage. Any person using a Mac can subscribe to your slideshow in the Desktop/screensaver preferences by inputing your .mac user name. When they do, the photos will be downloaded into their computer and then they have a screensaver using your photos.

Unpublished BUG 5011628 matches the client issue as it is a call to split-by-page-break inside a loop.
Fix is in ScalableStringList.java version 115.4.
This is delivered in <Bug 6165466> XDOFX:CHR(N) FUNCTION FAILING.
Solution
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 6165466 when it is released.
2. Test your report.

IPhoto is not working in my 5s. What should I do

Have you restarted your iPhone? http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702
Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
If that does not help, reinstall iPhoto - that fixed the same problem for me, but that will delete the iPhoto library, so your journals and slideshows will be lost. You may want to make a backup of your iPhone before you try that.
Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.

Make sure you have some available stoarge space on your iPad. Looks like you may be running low.

Iphoto will not work after uploading yosemite

After uploading the Yosemite upgrade. The iPhoto will not work. I have done what the software recommends. I have deleted the app and reloaded it. I get the same message. The message that i get is:
your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable.
shut down and restart your computer and then open iPhoto again. if the problem persists. try rebuilding your photo library. to do this quit iPhoto, and then reopen it while keeping the option and command keys pressed. you can also try restoring your photo library from a backup.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Upgraded my iMac to the new OS X Mavericks now iPhoto will not work.

I up graded my imac to OS X Mavericks now my iphoto will not work, it says there is an upgrade for iphoto available but will not let me upgrade with my apple id, can i delet iphoto and reinstall it with my apple id without loosing all my photos it was working fine till the OS upgrade.

1 - the iPhoto application and the iPhoto library (where you pictures are stored) are separate
2 - deleting the iPhoto application will not help
3 - if you log into the App store using the Apple ID that was used to install iPhoto (or set up the computer) you should be able to upgrade the application
4 - Apple ID issues can not be solved here - contact the App store support - link is on the right of the App store window

please tell as in more detail, in what way iPhoto is not working. So it is hard to guess, what might be going on.
First of all - what version of iPhoto. and what version of the Operating System?
In what way does it not work? Does it not launch? Does it crash? Unexpected results?
Are there any error messages?
Is this a new problem or your first try at running and installing iPhoto?
What were you doing, when the problem started? Importing photos? Upgrading the program?
Have tried anything already to troubleshoot the problem?

Make a back up now.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store
Then:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2

What OS X version did you upgrade from? What iPhoto version did you have before upgrading? You cannot upgrade a version of iPhoto from a pre-10.10.2 OS X version installation. You needed iPhoto 9.6.1.

Updated my iMac to Mavericks. iPhoto is not working. Not able to update iPhoto. Need help.

The App Store thinks these apps belong to someone else.
This can happen for a number of reasons:
1. You set up the Mac with one ID and now you're using another. Solution: log in with the one you used to set up the machine.
2. You bought the machine 2nd hand, or as an open box, or the vendor set up the machine for you. Solution: Go back to the vendor and get them to sort it out.
3. The software is pirated. Solution: trash it and buy the app.
Other than that: Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.

Dear Apple Adminstration
Do you have some moral responsbility to atleast reply someone, if there is any problem in your software
or hardware, have been sending so many request to help, but there is no any response either from apple
nor from Iphoto.
Hope you would consider this matter seriously and guide us how to solve this problem, my all pictures
are gone and iphoto dose not work, the movement you start the full system gets hanged up.
