Publishing and unpublishing

I'm not sure if this has been answered before (I can't seem to search the discussion topics any longer and reading 874 post/threads...)but, in the iweb help menu the statement,"For example, if you publish Site A to .Mac, and then, in iWeb, you delete Site A and create and publish Site B, Site A is no longer available on .Mac." exists. But I want to know what happens to Site A if you delete Site A (in iweb), create, but DON'T PUBLISH Site B?
And in addition, in the old homepage, what happens if you archive and then delete photos off of your hard drive, do they disappear off of homepage?
In both of these questions, I'm trying to figure out the relationship of my hard drive and .mac.

Thank you. One last question on this... if I were to unpublish the one folio I have published right now, would this essentially result in the app to still be downloadable in the app store but would just have no folios in the library until I publish this 2nd one?

Mix published and unpublished events in one calendar?

Just got an iPhone.
Is there a way to mix published and unpublished events in one calendar?
I've heard that other calendar software have this option.
With iCal on a Mac it's possible to choose which calendars to view, so then it's not a problem to have one published and one unpublished calendar.
But with iCal on iPhone you can only choose between viewing ONE and ALL calendars.
I subscribe to a bunch of other peoples calendars, so viewing ALL is never an option..
So now I would like to write all my events, published and private, into ONE calendar. Is that possible?

Yes. I tried changing the setting to Sync All Events (instead of the time limited sync) and let it refresh. No change. No display
I also tried rescheduling the event by one hour on the same day (no other changes), then save. No change. No display.
I ended up deleting the events and re-entering them, with identical information (including the recurring end date, remarks, etc., you name it), and then the events appeared like the rest of them in the same calendar.
I'd still like to know if there is a solution to the original problem. I'm still concerned that other events, maybe in the other calendar as well, are no appearing and it's impossible to rely on a sample or to verify every event.

Published and visible to all readers

Since we went live few weeks ago, I'm getting some weird messages on SP2010 Publishing site, every time someone sends a page for approval I see a blue bar with the message: "Status:
Published and visible to all readers", but the page is not approved, and the approvers cannot approve the pages. They just get an "Unpublish" button.
Also, from time to time I'm getting error messages saying I don't have access to the pages even tough I'm the administrator.
The funny part is that I don't have any issues when I access the site using the internal address http://myserver - It only happens accessing the domain name www.myserver.com wich works
just fine if I don't log in.
Also, I'm running 3 other public-facing sites and I don't have any issues on them. Page approval process works perfectly.
I've done my share of online searching and I cannot find any related issues. Is it AD? Is it the network or maybe a setting I missed on SP2010?
BTW, I'm running SP2010 with plenty of hard drive space and memory and no errors showing up in the logs.

I still have the same issue.
The alternate mappings are correctly configured.
When I access the www.mysite.com I receive access denied. But when I access internal address http://sp2010 I have no issues.
For some reasons "Quick Deploy Items" list ID shows in the URL access denied page. When I refresh the access denied page another list ID shows in the URL which points to Pages list.
I've checked the Pages list permissions and I don't see any issues.
Another interesting fact is that when I access first www.mysite.com and try to log in I get access denied. And then I open another tab and access the same site but internally http://sp2010 which always works. Then I go back to www.mysite.com tab
and if I refresh it, I don't get access denied anymore.

I am truely confused by how you are attempting to achieve things.
1. The Office 2013 package is only supported if deployed globally
2. AppLocker is the way to restrict users from starting different applications
3. Office 2013 is not supported to be published to users
It seems you have issues with #3. Which is not supported. I am not saying it "doesn't" work, but considering you have issues with it - perhaps we can start by not doing it?
Ok, so what do we have left;
Per your statement, Office 2013 is published globally. Ergo, all shortcuts and applications should be available to all users.

I have been working on animating a scene in flash for a few weeks and recently I have encountered a problem with importing my images on to the stage where the images I import do not turn up, however the key frame that I attempted to import the image onto shows that it is occupied by an image and every frame previous to the key frame that just imported an image that does not show turns up as a red square that fills the original perimeters of the image, there is no solution to this problem any where on the forum and the adobe technical support staff will not help me find a solution to this problem what can I do to get Flash running normally again and fix this problem?????

I don't know if Flash has a memory limit of its own. The memory for your Flash file is based on the available memory on your computer.
There is a limit on the number of frames that you can have in any given timeline. I think that it's about 15000 frames, but that's a guess. Flash does all of its work at runtime, this means that no part of your animation is pre-compiled like it is in a video file. So the more objects that you have on the stage, the more work Flash has to do. It follows that the more objects that there are to animate, the more work your processor and the video card have to do.

BI Publisher and Presentation services integration

Hi,
I have configured BI publisher and done the presentation services integration also. When I try to build a query by connecting to RPD, I am able to generate a query and design the report.
But when I select BI Answers as a data source, I am not listed out the reports. When I click on browse button, it opens the popup window and dispays BI Catalog and nothing else. when I check saw log, it has authentication error.
We have enabled LDAP authentication. I have used Administrator user to configure BI publisher. I have enabled the BI Publisher security type for BI Publisher authentication.
I have used the Administrator user while executing the cryptotools utility.
The following is the error.
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
State: 08004. Code: 10018. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: 08004] [nQSError: 10018] Access for the requested connection is refused.
[nQSError: 13024] Successful completion of init block 'LDAP Authentication' is required. (08004)
I am loogin in using administrator user and trying to use BI answers as a data source.
If anyone have any idea on this issue. Kindly help on the same.

Yes Seriously , the documentation at this link http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/fusionapps.1111/e20838/jdev.htm shows clearly there is a out-of-box region called "BI Publisher Region " to be integrated with ADF UI.
But after installing the extensions also I am not able to find that option.
I have installed "Oracle Fusion Applications Companion 11g (11.1.1.5.3) " updates as mentioned here "https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevextensions/entry/setting_up_a_fusion_applications"
After installing we see "BI ADF Components" in Technology Scope but If we open a jspx/jsff we don't see "BI Publisher" region option in component palette. Looks like there is something seriously missing.
One thing to note is I installed Jdev 11.1.1.5 downloaded from OTN and installed the updates from "http://edelivery.oracle.com" will that be a problem?
Any body from ORACLE ACE directors pls help us. We need this region looks like it has more options to save the document etc..

Can't save or publish and other issues

Aaaahhh.... I need help. I love iweb because of how easily you can just fill in the blanks and drag and drop things, but it is constantly going crazy on me.
Here is my latest issue:
1. When I try to save I get this message "Save Failed Too many open files in system" - What system? What files?
2. Why are the "Publish" and "Visit" buttons greyed out now?

Do you have .Mac set to synchronize mailboxes? I don't know whether this could be part of the problem but if you use .Mac it's worth checking.
Do you keep mail messages on the server? This could be another reason. When you create a new account it might be downloading all old mail. I have my advanced settings to retain mail for only 1 week, then delete it from the server. I keep messages on my computer for preference.
I've just checked in Mail Help and for IMAP accounts the mail is kept on the server even though an account is deleted. For POP accounts it can be kept on the server too unless you have specified for it to be removed after a certain time.
Connection Doctor seems to remember all previous accounts that have been used but should indicate that deleted accounts can't be connected. I don't know which file contains this information but it will probably be in the user Library somewhere.

Can't access Subscriber services from Publisher and Vice Versa

Hi ,
I am using CUCM 8.5.1(10000-26)
when connected to Publisher and go to Serviceability then service activation , Feature services or Network services of the subscriber , an error appears telling can't connect to remote node .
same from Subscriber side .
Database Replication is in "good" state
onconfig.ccm reports an error "The onconfig.ccm file on x.x.x.x does not match the publisher."
Any Advise ?

please cli command to check the relication , you must check that each node should have a replication status of two (2).
use this command (Utils dpreplication runtimestate) and please check the output.I do not see this eror before , but if you did not get a solution , ithink t open a TAC with Cisco. I think the onconfig.ccm file on x.x.x.x does not match the publisher (it is a problemm in linux) , i think the /opt/informix/etc directory.

I am confused on this:

What should I pass as the second parameter to establish an incoming NetStream with the publishing peer? I've seen people put in the farID but I haven't figured out how to access it. What is the difference between event.info.peerID and event.info.neighbor? And since I'm multicasting to the group do I need to pass in the groupspec or the farID? I would love some clarification on this.
What is happening is this:
When I join the group, and there are two members in the group already, I'll get three panels with videos. However, duplicate video streams are being attached. When I inspect the peerStreams array I'm seeing a length of 0, so does that mean that no one is subscribing to my published netstream? If so, how do I specifically subscribe to each published stream in the group? Sometimes if I step through in debug mode, I get three separate camera feeds in their prospective panels, but if I run it will have duplicates. I thought at first that this was a referencing error because all of the NetGroup.Neighbor.Connect events where happening all at the same time and perhaps that is the reason for the duplicates?
My only other thought is that maybe I'm multicasting one guys stream to the whole group, but I'm getting varying results so I want to know what is the correct way to grab, in sequence, a NetGroup members' published netstream and be sure that all other members are subscribing to my NetStream as well?
Also, I am using Value Objects to keep track of who my group members are, is that data shared with the group or is it not accessible to all members?   or should I use another method of keeping track of my group members?

Using Premier Elements - no sound in video after "Share & Publish" and exporting to my computer

I'm using Premiere Elements 13 on a PC (bought the disc and it's installed and registered.) I created a music video using many video clips and 3 different audio tracks. All audio was unlinked from the video. Some of the audio is from video AVIMovie and some is MP3 format. It plays just fine while I am editing it and after I save and then open to continue editing. I used the Publish and Share to export it to my computer. After it finished I tried playing it - in Windows Media Player - and there is no audio. What am I doing wrong?

Never fails...if I don't have time for a problem, Muse goes whacky. I don't have problems with any other Adobe software. But this one? wow.
I'm just trying to publish and I'm getting the 400, 101004 error message.
I delted extra files and would love to uninstall but how do I do that?
And, when I relaunch, it tells me that my subscription expired. Nice. It hasn't.
This sort of stuff reminds me of the old days with System 7 OS and everything crashing.

Please try de-activating and re-activating Muse from the Help menu and re-launch (follow the onscreen prompts).
If the above doesn't help, please try clearing Muse preferences as mentioned here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5086018#5086018 . Once done try to publish again and let me know if you get any error message.

My animate file seems to work fine locally, but the images aren't linked properly when I publish and post them to a web server.

I have an HTML5 animation that I am working on. When I preview it locally, it seems to work fine, but when I publish and post it on our web server, it doesn't seem to be able to find the images. The images are all in the images folder and it all seems to be pointing the right location, but it isn't showing up properly on the web server.
If anyone has any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.

The site runs fine offline. If I am watching it locally, it seems to be OK. The problem only occurs when I copy all of the content to the host. I have also checked to be sure that the images are in the correct folder and uploaded.
Here is one of the images that is definitely live, but is showing as unlinked/missing in the HTML5 version.

Failing to publish and deploy from CVS Repository

We have installed CVS on one of the machine and we have configured the CVS in our studio (version 5.7 MP3).
We stored the project in the repository(CVS) and when publish and deployed it pops up with an error message and fails to publish.
But before storing it in the CVS there were no errors and was successfuly publishing and deploying.
Even the exported file if executed in a different workspace (without CVS configured), it runs successfully.
Is it that we need to unlock in some file for successfull execution.
Please suggest / help.

Subscriber apperars as Publisher and Subscriber in Cluster Nodes

Hello,
A CUCM 5 cluster has two nodes. One node Publisher and one Subscriber.
3 weeks ago Subscriber server went off due to a power supply issue.
We purchased a new power supply and when this server became alive, the following appeared in OS ADMINISTRATION -> SHOW CLUSTER
If i remove server 10.10.200.21 as Publisher Type of Node, will i face any problems?
