Publishing not possible - greyed out

I am trying to publish my site, but can't: the publish button is greyed out. My internet connection otherwise works fine. Does anyone has an idea?

I had the site already published but needed to do
corrections, so I had deleted the site. For some
reason it didn't allow me to publish afterwards. And
sometimes it doesn't publish the whole site.
iWeb has no idea you deleted your site. It will only let you publish if you edit a page, and normally will only publish the pages you edit.

Basically when trying to upload pictures to Facebook through iPhoto, the publish option is greyed out. I've tried signing out and signing back in, changing the Facebook password, removing the cache, and just restarting the computer. Next thing I can think of is reinstalling the operating system. Publish site button greyed out

have tested ftp and this is fine and says ready to publish but publish site button is greyed out and wont let me! have spent hours today trying to resolve this, help!

I've done it not sure how, restarted the program and that seemed to free everything up, but it's up there! hooray!!

The speaker in my notes has greyed out all of a sudden. How do I get it back?

I use my notes a lot and use the speaker to input them. All of a sudden the speaker button greyed out and I can't get it to work. Any idea how I can fix this?

Ok, siri is turned on, so I don't think that isn't the problem.
But --- I just checked it again, and lo and behold the speaker is back to black and usable.

Songs not syncing - greyed out & dotted circle next to them

When I updated my iPod Touch 5th gen to IOS 8.1 most of my artwork did not sync.
Today I updated to IOS 8.1.1 in the hope this would sort the above problem. SOME of the missing artwork has been restored but not all. however
the recent additions to my library from CD and purchases from a supplier other than iTunes Store are now showing under Recent Purchases and are
GREYED OUT WITH A DOTTED CIRCLE next to them. They are showing & playing correctly in my library on my PC. Can anyone help to explain this.

Tried to sync again today in hope.
The Good News - All the greyed out & circled items have synced to my iPod.
Now the Weird News - 1) Although the items have synced they still are greyed out with circle when you look at Music under My Device.
2) Of the 6227 items ticked to sync from my library of 8000 there has been 6414 synced - 50 songs purchased very recently from iTunes Store have duplicated & another 137 random songs show a cloud with downward arrow which were items which were unticked in my library so should not have been synced. 3) It is showing 44.14 GB of free space when there is only 2.9 GB of space left.
APPLE - Every time I update or sync my iPod my stress levels now go through the roof. If any other companies goods/services had this much hassle they would be out of business !

Codec settings not available greyed out AME Premiere Pro

In CC 2014, when I want to transcode something to Quicktime/ProRes codec, the usual "Codec Settings" button in the Video Codec field is greyed out or not available. It was available in CS6... I could click on it and choose settings, but now I can't.
Just a little bg, but I don't think it matters, I can't choose it no matter what QT codec I choose: I have 23.976 final output that I want to convert to 29.97i for broadcast. Unfortunately, through various tests, in order to get the pulldown correct (without field blurring frames), in CS6 I would set it up in AME, then click the Codec Settings, and select Interlaced. Under Basic Video Settings field all is the usual 29.97, Upper First, etc. But to actually get the correct pulldown (repeat frame every 3 or 4 frames) I need to select the Codec Settings and select interlaced. Unfortunately, in CC 2014, I can't seem to access this option.
Any ideas? Codecs are in the system, everything else seems as it should be...

If the volume/disk is setup to be handled by ACLs (the default for 10.4.x) the older style "inherit permissions" is greyed out.
You can achieve inherited permissions from adding ACL permissions to the shared volume/folder by going to Sharing, Access "tab" in WGM. The first level of the share is never inherited (no) but the next level "down" will be (yes).
ACLs on or off is set in WGM by using the All "tab" in Sharing, choosing the volume and the General "tab".
ACLs override the POSIX settings: owner, group, everyone, and is hierarcial (permission list is read/enforced from top -> bottom, first matching "rule" goes)

IOS 5.0.1 - Podcats not working/greyed out

Since the update I cannot listen to any podcasts downloaded and synced or directly downloaded to my iPhone. Any ideas?

SOLUTION
In the iPhone go to
Settings>General>Usage>Music
Here it lists all your podcasts, simply erase the greyed out ones manually. This will erase them for good and stop them coming back. Your welcome.

I can't unlock and delete some items/files. How do I get the Lock to not be greyed out?

Some msg says I don't own it, but I'm the only user on the machine. I have gone into the Info screen for the file, and clicked the lock in the lower right. The Sharing says I can only read, but all the privileges are set to read & write. The Locked check box is checked, and grey'd out, so I can't change it.
I have Admin privilege, so I'm lost .... help

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Try the following:
1 - go into iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete your FB account. Close iPhoto and relaunch and add the account back.
2 - try Franchi Panchi's fix as posted in this topic: My publish button on iphoto is grey and...: Apple Support Communities
3 - a workaround of exporting the photos to the Desktop and uploading to FB with your browser.

Greyed out fields not triggering ON CHAIN-REQUEST

I have a text box on a screen with input not possible (greyed box). But the value of that text box can be changed by clicking a button in the same screen. Now, I wrote a code to give a pop-up upon exiting the screen, if the user didn't save the data. I got this fuctionality using keyword ON CHAIN-REQUEST.
But it is getting triggered, if the user changes the value on the white text box. But I changed the value of greyed text box using the button on the screen. For that, ON CHAIN-REQUEST is not getting triggered. Please help me out to solve this problem.

"Publish" button greyed out

While my webpage was open and the autoplay music was running (on the internet), I returned to iWeb to make some changes. I clicked on "Publish" and when I "visited" my new site, the same song was playing over itself, but at a different place in the song (as if two different songs were playing, one on top of the other). I closed out of both Firefox and iWeb, and restarted my Mac and then iWeb. But the "Publish" button is greyed out, preventing me from publishing any further changes to my webpage in iWeb. Is there anything that I can do, or is this webpage file somehow corrupted?

dear British Bulldog, Your suggestion to make a small change did, as you predicted, make the "Publish" button live again. Thank you for that suggestion. But clicking that button or choosing the "publish All to .mac" option - either way did not accomplish the latest edits to my site, but instead left the site without these changes, as it was before. Any other ideas?

Hierarchy Authorization field not greyed out in portal

Hello Gurus,,
I have a query,which has profit center as one of the selection variable and which has a a hierarchy on it. The Analysis authorization variable was created for the hierarchy. So it works fine in Bex Analyser,but when the same is run in portal,,, the authrozation field ( profit center) is not greyed out,but the F4 help shows just the authorized values alone ,which is good. But the issue is the enduser seems to be entering values manually,,,thereby the report runs for unauthorized values as well.
Can someone tell me,,if this could be a bug in sap,,, the field with authorization is
not being greyed out.,,,,,,,,is there any work around because the user wants it optional,,,,,,,

Just to confirm,,only the nodes show in F4,,but is it standard functionality that the leafs doesn't show up in F4,when a leaf alone is selected as the hierarchy node in RSECADMIN................

Publish Button Greyed out for Standalone Option

I'm using Captivate 3.0 for my project. I'm attempting to
publish my project using the Standalone feature. Unfortunately, the
Publish button is Greyed out. It doesn't matter what the file name
is, where I'm saving it, what's checked or unchecked...the button
is just greyed out the whole time.
How can I enable the Publish button through the Standalone
feature?

Hi all
Have any of you tried upgrading the Flash Player version on
your PC? I notice from the screen capture, that Flash Player 6 is
selected, but disabled. Normally Captivate 3 only offers versions
7, 8 and 9 as an option. At first, I saw version 6 listed here and
thought that perhaps Captivate 2 was being used, as it was the last
version that offered the ability to publish in Flash Player 6
format. But I then noticed that the File Type of Windows Executable
wasn't selectable as well as the dialog showing Adobe Connect.
These are indicators you are using Captivate 3.
So the only thing that seems to make sense is that perhaps
you have Flash Player 6 on your PC and need to upgrade it.
This

your version in use should be reported and you will have the
ability to install a newer version.
