PUBLISHING VIDEOS

Videos made at the imovie base (pre programmed) can be published at youtube, or they have copyright from the contributing authors from Apple partners?

This question comes up from time to time. YouTube and Facebook are both wrong.
There are a number of con-men who think that they can earn a quick buck from claiming that they own the copyright to Apple’s royalty-free jingles and sound effects included with the iLife applications. These are all free to use, as clearly stated in section 2.C of the iLife Software License Agreement:
“You may use the Apple and third party audio content (“Audio Content”) contained in or otherwise included with the Apple software, on a royalty-free basis, to create your own original soundtracks for your video and audio projects. You may broadcast and/or distribute your own soundtracks that were created using the Audio Content, however, individual samples, sound sets, or audio content may not be commercially or otherwise distributed on a standalone basis, nor may they be repackaged in whole or in part as audio samples, sound files, sound effects or music beds.”

  • When publishing video files in H.264 format, I get the error "No rendered photo exists on disk"

    I want to export images as well as videos (.mov files) by using the Publishing Manager in Lightroom 5.6 under Windows 7, 64 Bit. For this I activated "Include Video Files" in the Publishing Manager and set "Video Format" to "H.264". When publishing, all photos are correctly published. The videos, however, are not published. Instead Lightroom returns the error: "Some export operations were not performed.", "No rendered photo exists on disk" followed by a list of the videos that could not be exported.
    If I select "Original, unedited file" for "Video Format" instead, the videos are published. Also, if I manually export the videos (without using the Publishing functionality), the export works.
    How can I publish videos using the H.264 format?

    Thanks Brett, I'll try to recreate it
    I just tried to export it again but this time to the desktop, not a Sandisk USB, and this time it created 4 different files, one being audio only and when I tried to play/open the others it gave a 'server error' dialogue  window and I couldn't get a screen shot while this was open.

  • Presenter 10 - theme info not showing in published video

    Using Presenter 10 - when I publish a video using powerpoint my theme with presenter info and selected panes does not show. I start by going to power point and creating a custom theme within the presenter tab and check the presenter info and panes I want to show and press ok. I then hit record and it sends me to adobe presenter video express. I record the video and publish the project. However no theme shows in the final published video. Maybe adobe presenter was not meant to show theme information in a published video?
    Thanks for any help

    Presenter Video Express (APVE) does not use the theme for the PPT output. If you embed the MP4 in a PPT slide using Presenter, then publish it out it will have the theme wrapper around the PPT content, which contains your APVE video.
    If you want to customize the theme in the APVE you can do that when editing your video in that tool.

  • Can Flash publish video to FMS generated from the Stage?

    I know NetStream can publish video from a camera, but is there anyway to generate video from the stage?
    If would be nice to record what is on the stage to the FMS for playback.
    Even combining the camera with elements on the stage.
    This would be even better once Stage3D is available to generate 3D generated videos.
    Is there anyway to overload Camera to insert any display object you wanted?
    Thanks.

    Maybe something like this:
    var ns:NetStream;
    //...init...
    ns.attachStage(this);
    while (condition) {
      moveObjectsOnStage();
      ns.nextFrame();
    ns.close();

  • Performance while publishing video on iOS and Android

    Hi,
    I'm building a small Video-Chat-App and playing around with publishing video and audio.
    Everything is fine on Desktop, but if i port the code to mobile I'm facing a kind of permformance issue.
    So I build a small app just using Camera, Video and NetConnection/NetStream for testing.
    If I attach the Camera to Video and switching between different resolutions (320x240, 480x360, 640x480 at 30fps, camquality at 75) the video is running smoothly.
    But the framerate drops when I start publishing via NetStream, depending on the selected Camera-resolution.
    Render mode is set to "direct", but I also tested the others without any good results. Building is done with AIR 3.5, tested on iPad2 with iOS 6.2.1 and Samsung S3 with Android 4.1.2
    Using 320x240 is fine on both devices. but at 480x360 framerate on iPad 2 drops to 15fps, S3 still has 28fps. On 640x480 iPad drops to 10fps, S3 at 14fps.
    Does anyone facing the same problems or has a tweak/solution or is this just depoending on the hardware/cpu because publishing via NetStream is eating a lot?
    Any ideas, hints or informations are much appreciated.
    Kind regards
    Benny

  • How do I display time remaining in a captivate published video so the learning can know how much time is remaining in a video

    After I publish my video it just plays but there is no indication of how much time is remaining on the video while watching. How do I display this

    It is possible, but you have to know 'time' is bit different, depending if you are talking about the 'editors' time or the real time spent by the the trainee. Have a look at this old blog post, that tries to explain:
    http://blog.lilybiri.com/display-time-information
    Time can show on the TOC (editors time), and if you have a playbar with a progress bar that gives some indication as well, but both for pure linear projects.

  • How can you use one NetStream to publish video and audio from another NetStream in AS3?

    Let's say one of your client programs in AS3 is able to receive live video and audio from a NetStream and play it on the screen.  How could you make it also take that video/audio stream that it's receiving, copy it over into another NetStream, and publish it elsewhere?  I need to know how to do with this regardless of whether RTMP, RTMFP, or some mixture is involved.  The reason why the stream needs to be relayed this way is a real long story, but it's necessary in this particular case. Thanks!

    RTMP is TCP, which has higher overhead and latency because it guarantees packets are delivered (handshaking, causing latency and overhead). It also doesn't allow you to share connections directly between clients forcing the server to do all the work.
    RTMFP uses UDP, which is a choice protocol for streaming video because it's the opposite. It's lossy which decreases latency and overhead from no retransmissions and most importantly (in some applications) allows you to connect directly from one Flash Player to another Flash Player (p2p) so the server overhead is dramatically reduced. The server is only required to negotiate the initial connection and then it's up to the clients to continue to facilitate that.
    How you code your one to many or many to many relationship broadcast network will be based entirely on which of those you choose.
    URLStream is very common to use in p2p. Here's an older Adobe article on p2p and an alternate quick old video tutorial (FP10) as a quick simple example of p2p over RTMFP you can view the source of.

  • Published Videos from IPhoto to Gallery have sound but no video in browser

    I've published some iphoto pictures and videos to a gallery on MobileMe. The videos in the gallery will play in the browser but there is no video, just sound.
    The videos in IPhoto work fine, but through the browser they have no image. Do I need a special plugin to play these videos off the site? I simply let IPhoto upload them to the gallery, so I assumed it would do whatever it needed to ensure they will play...
    Any help would be appreciated...I've tried viewing the videos with Firefox and Safari, but I get the same behavior. I tried downloading the file and it is the same bahavior, however the originals in the IPhoto albums work just fine...I assume this means a conversion is happening, but to what format?? They have an AVI extension, were originally downloaded from a Canon 770is camera.
    I confirmed I can play the video on a Windows computer. I also downloaded the file from the gallery and opened in Quicktime and used the inspector to see:
    Format is 'MJPG' 640x480..it also downloaded with a .MOV extension rather than the AVI listed in gallery....

    Heya Brendt,
    Is the video within iTunes or just in your movies folder?
    If it is not iTunes then ignore the "itunes" portion below.
    Remove the following files to the trash (do not empty until you test for function):
    ~/library/caches
    ~/library/preferences/com.apple.itunes.plist
    ~/library/preferences/com.apple.frontrow.plist
    - Repair your permissions - > http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=DiskUtility/10.5/en/duh17.html
    - Restart your computer again
    - Test and see how its working
    Hope that helps!

  • IPod touch failed to publish video?

    iOS 6.1.3 iPod touch 4G it always says failed to publish 'name of video' please help

    You might want to check your system settings on your iPod Touch.  Under the About tab, look at how much free space you have on the iPod touch.

  • Adobe presenter published video is fuzzy

    Can presenter publish out in HD? I have publish quality set to Best, looks super sharp in the edit window but when published looks fuzzy!

    Presenter outputs exactly what is in the presentation. However, you should consider that your HD video is being compressed to fit inside the frame that is scaled to fit on the viewer's screen. So, just like a large image compressed to fit in a small space, there is a quality loss.
    You may find that re-encoding the video to a lower resolution will result in a better quality video experience overall.
    Also, are you importing MP4 or FLV video files or something else?

  • Drag and drop dont pause in a published video

    Hi, i have a Project with 3 slides (not responsive) the second one is with drag and drop, it works fine when i preview in browser but when i publish it as a video it dont pause in drag and drop. When i publish it as html5 it works fine but not as video.

    Hi there
    Please define "publish as video". Do you mean a video you might upload to YouTube? If so, that will never ever work. Video is just video and no interactivity is possible except what YouTube itself offers as a layer above the video.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Publishing videos to journals has issues

    I have created two iPhoto journals on my iPhone and they have a mixture of photos and videos (all created by the iPhone).
    when I publish to the cloud and access the URL with safari, all videos play in the orientation they were recorded (portrait vs. landscape)
    when I access the URL with Internet Explorer on windows, the videos shot in portrait get rotated to landscape and the user cannot enjoy them because the video plays -90 degrees from its original orientation.  (videos shot in landscape playback fine in landscape)
    both safari on Mac and Windows plays the portrait videos just fine, but IE does not.
    is the web page source code support something unique to Safari that IE does not support ?

    IE9 did not playback the portrait recorded videos in portrait orientation.
    then I tried this on another computer running IE8.  that version of IE prompted me to download an apple add-on and the videos played as expected.
    I don't know why IE9 didn't prompt to download the add-on but that must be the reason why the portrait videos playback in landscape.
    It may have something to do with the security settings for the IE9 browser.

    Unless there's a way to do it through the YouTube app, you will not be able to do this using the Safari web browser on the iPad.

  • Publishing Videos and Flash PDFs

    How to publish a PDF with videos and flash within the file?

    If the media is embedded in the pages in InDesign you can export directly - choose Export > Adobe PDF (Interactive), and on the dialog box ensure that "buttons and media" is set to "include all".
    If you want to add the media after conversion, you can do it using Acrobat Pro, and the Flash/Video tool.
