Publishing with wrong server address

hi guyz
I am using Web application designer and going thru a silly problems while publishing my report in any browser.
whenever i publish my report in a browser,a wrong server address is generated and i have to manually change the address each and every time when i run the query. Can i change the server address somewhere in the settings or is it something to do with the server and basis guyz?
Another problem is refreshing a report never gives the updated query results as in Bex analyzer.

this has to do with the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) setting done by basis and also the namethey have maintained in SMICM and in the profiles.
Make sure that all these are in line...

Looks like IIS can do redirects. Perhaps you can have your web support team do a redirect to the Apple supplied url.

Reports with wrong Server details (using ODBC name instead of server name)

When I save a report either in Crystal Reports 11 (File save as, Enterprise u2013 Central Management Server) or Central Manager Console, Objects New Object I get an error.
On looking at the database all reports I am adding or saving are automatically taking the wrong server details, and it is a greyed out field, so I cannot edit it. I presumed it is getting this information from my ODBC settings, but appears to be using the ODBC name/description as the server name (The Database and usernames are correct). This is happening on every report!
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? How I can save or add new reports with the correct details?
Not sure if this will help, but the error message is:- Failed to open the connection. D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\procSched\wdcsql1.reportjobserver\~tmp117852b044ee296.rpt

No, Crystal Reports in not installed on the server, and the ODBC settings are not setup on the server. However I did add the correct ODBC settings on the server but this has made no difference.
So do I need to setup all the ODBC settings in advance of anyone saving a report (I will need to try and find obtain them all)?
Should the server also have a version of Crystal Reports on it?
One report is working but it was added by the guy that installed it, and this report is using the same database as all the reports that I have added, and should be the same ODBC settings.
The server (server username) does not have access to the original location of the reports, so it cannot run the reports - however when I save them to the server via enterprise or the import tool, does a version of the report get saved on the server? If so can you point me in the direction of them, so I can try and run them via the server?

Configuring BI Publisher with BI Server on SSL

I am trying to configure BI Publisher 10.1.3.4 with a BI Server that is configured in SSL.
The options we have for appending the connection string are:

How should we configure this if we do not have a keystore on BI Server with SSL.
We only have a cacert.pem,server-req.pem,server-cert.pem,server-key.pem,serverpwd.txt and cacert.pem..

We have got the solution for this issue.
We need to generate a certificate thro a keytool with a Distinguished Name associated with it.
Certifying it with self cert of keytool and import the certified certificate into the jave a keystore cacerts and modifying the web site that directs the url to the Publisher Application.

Hi Folks, wondering if anyone has had this problem. I recently purchased the download of Premier Elements 11. However, I entered an incorrect email address and consequently have no confirmation of purchase or activation key. Having paid through paypal I contacted them after adobe advised that that is what I do. Howver Paypal hav told me that they only can resolve desputes where an item is tangable, not downloaded software. Paypal have referred me back to Adobe, yet I can never get in touch with anyone over the phone. My last hold time was over an hour before I gave up. I've paid for a product that I cannot use. Any suggestions?

I'd go to the Adobe Store UK, Web site, as they should also offer a Live Chat - at least the Adobe Store US does. I have used that for about four questions in the last few years, and it has worked fine. Though in some contacts, I did not get the answer that I wanted, I still got quick responses. Not sure if they can help you, but rather than hold, I would give it a go.

Software Update advice with wrong website address.

I've just received a Software Update notification, but the website given for obtaining further information appears to be wrong. After clicking it, I received the response "Document 307051 not found". The suggested search was also unsuccessful.
The updates offered were to Java for Mac OS X 10.4 Release 6 and Quick Time.
I'm hoping that somebody from Apple may see this and sort out the problem, but I can't rely on that. Has anyone got advice for me as to how else to draw the matter to Apple's attention?

Delete contact with wrong email address

I added a contact to the address but misspelled the address. I left out one letter. I change to the correct address in address book but the misspelled address still comes up as the preferred when I compose mail. How do I get rid of the bogus address?

I typed the wrong email address while setting up iCloud on my iPad. I cannot change this. I have deleted the account but when I try to open a new account it comes back up with wrong email address. Both of my iPhones come up with the same wrong email addr.

Can documents on Google docs be imported to Numbers? If so, can someone help me with the server address. I have tried several URL's but receive an error each time attempting to import through the WebDAV utility. Thanks.

all you need to do, is to create an account, authorize it to access your google docs, and viola. you can get your google docs via web dav right from within the app.
They also claim that you can update the docs (by saving to a web dav) but i haven't tried it... so i don't know if it works.
one little thing though, when i first accessed my docs, they were all grayed out (numbers couldn't open them) that's because it relays on the file extension to identify it as openable\editable... so just rename the file, add it a '.doc' or '.xls' or what ever extension it suppose to be, and it'll work like a charm!

Windows server with one NIC and two IP address answers to ping with wrong address.

I have Windows 2012R2 server, as a web server. It has only one NIC, and I have given it two IP addresses. 10.0.0.11 at the main Window, and under the advanced tab, I have added 10.0.0.12 as additional ip to the nic. I have even but to
host file a row, that states 10.0.0.11 server.domain.local.
Now when I ping "server.domain.local" from the server itself, it gives me 10.0.0.12 as answer.
With nslookup I can get correct address (10.0.0.11). But when I type server.domain.local to the web browser it tries to connect 10.0.0.12, which is incorrect. It should connect to 10.0.0.11 address. Could you please help me?

Windows does not work well with two IP addresses on the same subnet. Results are inconsistent, as you have discovered. In general, you should never try to put two IP addresses from the same subnet onto a single Windows box. That means either
multiple addresses on a single NIC or on multiple NICs.
Maybe if you tell us what you are trying to accomplish by having two addresses, we could provide better assistance.

Address book Sync with Lion Server

I have set up a Mac Mini with Lion Server and have OD users (no local user on the server). When I login "locally" (using the OD user account), I have my full environment, everything seems to work ok. Also the sync from my iPhone seems to work (only some calendar errors, sync doesn't come up with address book errors). But, as I now have noted, there is not really a sync of the address book. I have an old version of my address book on the server.
How do I properly set up that:
- my iPhone syncs with my OD user's address book only
whereas
- central address book is kept on the OD server as well (without any sync)?
Or did I get something wrong regarding the concept of running an address book on the Lion server ... maybe it's not possible to sync the iPhone to an OD user's address book?

Have you tried rebuilding the accounts in SystemPrefs>Mail, Contacts and Calendars?
Are the machines bound to the directory?
Try setting it up in a fresh account on the broken Mac.
Try setting it up on a different Mac.

If this is the same E2900 that you have mentioned in every one of your other forum posts, then it would seem you need to contact Technical Support and open a proper support request. These forums are NOT techsupport and that system seems so poorly configured that it needs deep analysis. Such investigation cannot be done by using an online forum.
The immediate solution is to log on to the SC of that box and power it down, then boot it back up. At least it will be running after that.

Radius authentication with ISE - wrong IP address

We are using ISE for radius authentication. I have setup a new Cisco switch stack at one of our locations and setup the network device in ISE. Unfortunately, when trying to authenticate, the ISE logs show a failure of "Could not locate Network Device or AAA Client" The reason for this failure is the log shows it's coming from the wrong IP address. The IP address of the switch is 10.xxx.aaa.241, but the logs show it is 10.xxx.aaa.243. I have removed and re-added the radius configs on both ISE and the switch, but it still comes in as .243. There is another switch stack at that location (same model, IOS etc), that works properly.

As a test, I setup a device using the .243 address. While ISE claims it authenticates, it really doesn't. I have to use my local account to access the device.
Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated. Please let me know if more information is needed.

Well from the debug I would say there may be an issue with the addressing of the radius server on the switch.
radius-server host 10.xxx.xxx.xxx key******** <--- Make sure this address and Key matches what you have in ISE PSN and that switch. Watch for spaces in your key at the begining or end of the string.
What interface should your switch be sending the radius request?
