Normaly after i purchase from itunes, it is a free download any time after, and on my other devices.
Why can't itunes locate these files?
It has always been very basic to maintain a backup of the important files and data on your computer.
Use that backup to put everything back.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever. -
When i double click itunes it doesn't open it just comes up with an error saying " The itunes library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the 'itunes' folder in the 'music' folder. How can i fix this problem?

I can't open my Itunes keep receiving error message- The iTunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "i Tunes" folder in the "Music" folder. Spell check not only underlines words that are not in its dictionary, but suggests words when the flagged words are right clicked. However, if words have been added to the dictionary by a user, it does not appear that spell check incorporates the new words into to the suggestions for proper spelling. As a result, if I misspell a word that I have added to the dictionary, I have to manually correct it, because the correct spelling that was added to the dictionary is not offered in the drop down list when the word is right clicked.

Right click on the indicated word, and choose, the spelling, add to dictionary,
or close the right-click context menu to allow without changing anything.
You probably have other dictionary lists on your computer of words that you've already verified and added, open that list or a copy of it in Firefox and add the ones that show up as invalid using your better judgement that you have now than in the past.

I have multiple devices in my family. Each of us has an iPhone and an iPad. Is there a way for each of us to have our own Apple ID but one account so we can all get the same music, movies, books, etc. I can't see paying twice for something in the same family.
Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice. -
I have been trying for over 2 weeks now trying to get my iTunes to open up so I can use my iTunes but I have not had any luck since I up graded to the new itunes. I have tried uninstalling (all apple programs) and reinstalling and nothing seems to work. itunes says that the version of software on my ipod touch 3rd gen is up to date, but IOS 5 is avaliable. I have checked for software updates for days but it keeps saying that 4.2.1 is the current version. Why cant i get IOS 5?

because you do not have a 3rd generation device. The OS Version says so , otherwise you would be at 4.3.5 minimum and also Itunes is also always correct in determining if you have the latest OS ( if not it fetches the newest from Apple's Servers ) . And because a 2nd generation iPod stops at 4.2.1 you can't get the newest OS, because your device is old. Buy a new iPod , they have iOS5 preinstalled. -

I bought my Apple iTunes & Apple AppStore Card's at Best Buy, but when I try to use them I get this error: The Gift Certificate or Prepaid Card code you entered has not Ben properly activated. What did I do wrong or did Best Buy not scan it right! Real Geniuses in that store!
