Pulling blank pages from my server

I manage 3 different sites and usually work directly from the
server, but I recently upgraded to CS3 and the new DreamWeaver
seems to be having some problems opening files. 2 of the 3 sites
open just fine, but one does not. It connects just fine and I can
see all of the files, but when I double click on one to edit the
file it opens up blank in Dreamweaver.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?

Hp 6510 prints fine from laptop but only prints blank pages from ipad

Printer prints fine from my laptop but will only spit out blank pages from my ipad. It used to print fine from the ipad.

RESOLVED!!!!
I called HP regarding this issue, and was connected with a very nice woman out of India, Lola, who resolved the problem for both my Google Nexus 7 tablet running android 4.4.4 and also my iphone 5s. Its the printer, and its wi-fi connection, along with the app.
Here were the steps to resolve:
1. Make absolutely sure you dont have a cable going into your printer from your router or modem. Then make sure your connected to wi-fi if on your printer if you did. (If you had a cable connected, re-run the wi-fi setup wizard for your printer, preferably on the printer itself, not your computer.
2. Sounds crazy, but verify your wi-fi is actually on. Click on the wi-fi button on your printer, and you should also have a light that signals your wi -fi is actually connected (at least on the Officejet 6700 that I am using, it does).
3. Make sure you still have HP Eprint on your phone and/or tablet. Check that you have your settings correct in your HP Eprint setup options, including the email address you want to use for your account. If you don't, you will need to enter it, then click activate on HP Eprint. It will send you a code via email. Copy/paste the code into the HP Eprint setup.
4. Once you're sure you have your printer re-connected to wi-fi correctly, and no cables attached; resart your printer, and re-start your phone/tablet. Once everything has re-booted its time to test....
5. Test Printing: First test printing drictly from HP Eprint's app, selecting a file... then test using a webpage from your browser, to ensure its running correctly through Airprint (which is best, secondary is Google Cloud Print).
If you are still having trouble, re-boot everything again, double check your wi-fi on your printer, and that you have your settings correct in your HP Eprint from above. If that doesn't work for you, call HP at (855) 785-2777 and select HP EPrint for assistance.

HP printer only prints blank pages from Word or Pages

My HP all in one printer only prints blank pages from Word or Pages documents, prints ok from anything else. Any ideas? Have deleted and readded printer removed HP software reinstalled software from Apple etc. Help please!

If this just happens from these two programs, it's most likely a driver conflict. If typically using an alternate driver will alow you to get around this. To try this, add the printer's que to the Mac. Click the dropdown next to Use and choose a driver that's not for your printer. Typically the best one to try is another Photosmart dirver, but Deskjet drivers will work as well. I would make the instructions a bit more clear, but I don't have access to a 10.6 Mac. Let me know if this works or not.

Uploading pages from a server to DW CS5 desktop

My web pages need some changes in some areas of content and font family, color, point. If there is anyway to make the changes by viewing the pages in DW CS5. All images, font, css, frames, and tags, substituting the Web browser view for the DW CS5 design view. Can there be a process to view my pages in its entirety and not a blank page? getting the same display a Web browser does, instead, this time Id like to see it on DW CS5?

they are the ftp details of a hosting company! Yes. Although, the files in dreamweaver design view say at the top of the design frame (Dynamically related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server) and after trying to set up the second ftp connection in this case a (dynamic site connection) from the instructions of a support Web page I viewd in another site, after the test connection had begun the error message that came after says (ftp connot connect to server because permission levels are not properly set up. They are talking about the iScripts Multi Cart files previously installed on the hosting company's server in the public folder (server root). Before the instalation could proceed I had a couple of changes made to the htaccess permission to 777 and a few other files in that same are to 777, images, banners, csv, product, portfolios, could this be the reason for the set back? This iScript MultiCart softwear also instructed me to add my url to the url they provide to further the instalation. http:(my url)/iScriptsMulticart/install/install.php/? any clues on how to make the changes?

Problem loading page from main server

I have an Ipod Touch that worked well for the first few weeks and I have used it in a variety of wifi situations. The problem I am having now is related to my email server (Orange: the France Telecom Internet server). I was having problems loading the main log-on page and turned off the Java Script, Plug-Ins, and Block-pop ups in the General settings to be able to get the main page. I can log in and Orange recognizes me as a client, but when I try to get my messages, I get a blank page and nothing more.
I seem to be able to surf the Orange site for any other information except direct access to my e-mails. Is this a Touch problem (possibility a setting?) or more an Orange problem?

Regardless of what problem it is, I decided get around it and to forward my messages from my main server to Yahoo and then have them download to the Ipod Touch through mail: it works!

Pages from OSX Server - Slow and impossible

Is anyone using Pages 08 in an office setting with OSX Tiger Server? We are an office with only 5 users and trying to migrate from AppleWorks to Pages '08. The speed at which Pages '08 saves and opens files from our server is terrible... documents take 4 to 5 times longer to open and to save a doc that it does with AppleWorks.
Is this typical? The speed is so slow that my staff is now suggesting we move to Word or some other WP. With AWs no longer supported, we need to a new WP. Pages '08 is all that we need but the slow performance with a server makes this app a lesser choice.

Windows 8.1 printing blank pages from all apps

Morning Tech Support: My favorite people!! This just began within the this week where what ever appl I attempt to print from, prints blank pages. Upon viewing the print spooler, it shows doc going into printer okay, no probs w/ margins
or page size (already checked). Printer is Canon MG5400 (newer). I've already rebooted turned on the computer where the computer is installed. What else could it be. Working on installing new updates that just came down as well.

Try install all updates for Windows and check for update for latest version of your printer's software.
Try run a test print and check if it works.
Also check the cartridge and make sure they are okay.
You may contact Canon's support too.

HP c309a printing blank pages from new Dell Win8 laptop

I have a c309a installed on the network via LAN to the router. It works fine with Win-Vista and Win-7 computers wired and wirelessly connected to the network.
A new Dell laptop with Win-8 is connecting to printer, but nothing but blank pages comes out of the printer - even when trying to print a test page from Printer Properties in Windows.
I have tried to istall the complete HP printer software from the HP website, also via HP Print and Scan Doctor, which din in fact install on the laptop, as well as from the disc that came with the printer - but in vain. I have downdoaded the software repeatedly. It runs the file extraction, but nothing happens when done. Not even an error message. When attempting to run setup.exe from the disc, nothing happens either. The disc runs for little while, then stops. No error massage in this case either.
I have removed the free McAfee security program that came with the laptop, in the hope that it was terminating the installation, but to no avail.
Please help!

I understand you are having issues installing the HP software on your new Dell with Windows 8, and that you can not print from the windows 8 machine as you get only blank pages. Please try the following steps and let me know how it works out.
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
Download the software and choose to save as, save to desktop > HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One C309 Series Full Feature Software and Driver
After the software downloads and extracts, open the temp folder again, use the instructions from step 1.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have anon-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.

I can' print anything from firefox (emails, web pages, etc.) I get blank pages from my printer.

Whenever I go to the print option in the file menu, my pages do not print. Blank pages come out of the printer. I have checked all of the setup that I know. This is not a problem if I go to Google Chrome or other browser. Only a problem with firefox. Even on the print preview it shows up blank. Any suggestions?

Sorry, Firefox doesn't use the Windows "default printer" as the default printer, but rather it uses the last used printer as the "default". That doesn't always happen when the printer involved goes into stand-by and is "offline", from what I have seen on my small LAN.
Just one of the hundreds of print related Bugs or nuisances in Firefox that I doubt will ever be fixed, until they write all new code for printing

HP PSC 2175 All-in-one prints blank pages from word, chrome and notes

My HP all-in-one printer PSC 2175 all-in-one has suddenly decided to print blank pages.
So far I've tried printing from Word, Notes and Photoshop but come up with nothing.
It prints test pages and diagnostic pages without any problems and it makes direct copies without problems.
The diagnostic tool can't find anything wrong.
I've run all the software I could find on Swedish HP.
I've reinstalled the printer, reinstalled Word, repaired Windows, nothing helps.
I have Windows XP, fully updated.
Any suggestions?

HP 722C prints blank pages from Word 2010 But can print successfully from Internet Explorer 9

I installed the patch from HP for my printer. I can print successfully from IE 9. However, blank pages are all I get when printing documents from Microsoft word 2010. My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit. home premium I do not get any error messages when printing. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I still cannot print from Word 2010. I can print from Adobe reader. I did uninstall and reinstall Office 2010. I still cannot print from Word 2010.

F4140 Pringting blank page from web pages & pdf

My F4140 is working and printing but is printing blank pages when I try to print from a PDF. I just tried to print a word document and it only printed the black and white section and left the color sections blank. It is also only printing the black and white portion of a web page and not the color portion (tried to print a one-time coupon).
I have done an alignment, cleaned the print heads and my ink levels are fine. The self-test print page prints both in color and black and white just fine. I tried the print as image and it still came out blank. The copier works just fine, too.
Apparently it is not printing anything that is in color. Any idea on what the problem is and how to fix?

Blank page from ptinter

HP Photosmart D7360, model vvcra-0603.
Prints OK on 4x6 paper.
Get blank page using 8.5X11 paper.
Error message says "paper too small. Use larger paper".
Replaced all ink.
Unpluged and reconnented. No help.
Using stand alone printer, not connected to computer.
Printer worked fine when last used, bet has been idle for several months.

Hi Joe - Sounds like some settings are incorrect. A couple of things to try:
- Does this happen from any app (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Go into Control Panel, Printers and choose the D7360 and go into Printer Properties or Preferences. Look at the paper size setting and make sure it is set to Letter (8 1/2x11). In addition, if you have an "automatic" setting under paper type, try choosing the appropriate paper (i.e. plain paper, etc.) rather than "automatic".
- In whatever app you're printing from verify that the paper size under Page Setup is set to letter size. Sometimes the printer driver settings (referenced above) don't match the settings in the app (Page Setup).
- What OS (Vista, Win7) are you using?
