Pulling Data from Pdf's

I have a 10,000 page document, all laid out exactly the same.
On each page is an address field. All the address fields are full.
I need someway of copying all the addresses from the document. To a
single file or atleast a way of extrapolating all the data.
Any ideas on if/how it would be possible in Adobe
Professional? Or any of the adobe programs?

type of txt document, and then import to another application.
It would be good to get more information about what you're
working with, what type of document you're looking at, and where
you need it to be exported to.
Which application you ultimately end up using to achieve the
data transfer would relate to what type of output you're needing to
have.
More information along those lines will help us redirect you
to where your questions would be most effectively answered.

Data from CRM to BW is divided into diiferant Data sources.
First need to find data source name.
Use the following seps
First of all, activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)
It is depends if you want to use in BW some ready made (Business Content) data analysis models.If so, you need to find your data source in RSA5 in CRM and activate it. BWA5 i think we use this Tcode after RSA5 activation additionally.
yes(incase of delta)
BWA7 do we have to use this tcode along with BWA1 for standard datasources also or else only for generic datasource.
irrespective of the type of dtasource,use it if you want to load delta(you need to delta enable the datasource here)
So we don't need to put the code as we traditionally do it for R/3 , if we just mapp the fields that would bring the data for these fields.

CRm enhancement:
1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include an append structure to the extract structure via transaction RSA6).
2.a) Release the fields of the append for usage. ( To do this, double click on the Datasource and remove the flags in the column 'Hide Field' for all fields of Append).
2.b) If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of the transaction BWA1 then change and save the datasource, and then activate it in RSA6.
3. Define your mappings in BADI (CRM_BWA_MFLOW) to fill these fields.
Goto SPRO . Follow the path ->SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse-> Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->Settings for BW adapter-> Badi :BW adapter :Enhancement of datasources in messaging flow.
4. Replicate the new Datasource to BW.
5. Expand the Communication Structure in BW.
6. Maintain transfer Rules for the new Datasource.
7. Activate the trasfer rules and perform the upload.

Help with exporting data from pdf form

I have about 100 pdf forms that I created in adobe forms central and distributed as a pdf form (rather than on the web). I am trying to export the data into a spreadsheet but when I export it, the fields are all jumbled in the csv file, as in they are not in the same order. I need to export the data all together so I'm going to the forms menu and selecting "manage form data" and then selecting "merge data files into spreadsheet". I tried exporting a single file but that gave me something really weird.
Please help, I have a deadline next week to analyze this data and can't make sense of it once it is exported to a spreadsheet.

Would you please share your form with me and send me one of your pdf forms and some of the csv files?
You can share your form by doing the following:
1. Click on the “Share” icon on the bottom left corner.
2. Click on “Add Collaborator” on the popup menu.
3. Enter [email protected] under “People to share with”.
4. Set subject to "Export data from pdf form"
5. Click the “Share” button on the bottom right of the dialog.

Other datatypes present a challenge within text file.
A more robust solution is to use export/import to move data between Oracle DBs.

Unable to connect to the server to pull data from mysql

I am novice working with Flash Builder 4 and I just created a test application which runs well in my computer pulling data from Mysql using PHP and populating a datagrid. But when I transfered it to the my hosting provider failed. I have been doing some modifications to the gateway.php and amf.config.ini to solve some of the issues. Now the application try to run but doesn't populate the data in the datagrid. I included a tracking point in my data service file to read the connections variables, but they come up in blank. I highly appreciate any help. Here are my gateway.php, amf.config.ini and the data service.

Thank you for you prompt response. Yes, I have changed the connections variables in my dataservice ( I didn't post real values). You are right, after all I didn't make changes on the gateway.php except to add some tracking points. The one that I changed is the amf.config,ini. The application runs without any error exceptions, but don't populate the datagrid. According with the tracing is stoping just when establishing the connection to the database. Please let me know if you have any other clue. thanks

SSRS pulls data from ESSBASE cube, data not showing

Dear Experts,
We are connecting SSRS 2012 to Essbase 11.1.3 to pull data from the cube, and having some issues with some members data not showing in the query designer and report, while some have no problem. And we couldn't find a pattern on which members won't show. We are wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a way to solve the problem.

Pull data from a table in HTML format from external URL into a Servlet

How do I pull data from existing website html table into a Servlet?
I will need to pull the data into a servlet. So, the servelet will need to go to the URL and get the data and save them as variables.
I know I will need an array to store the data. I just dont know how to call the URL and have the servelet search the site for the <table> </table>.
I will later use this to save to a database.

Maybe give us more details about what exactly You'd like to achieve. I guess that there might be better solutions to the problem.

Error while pulling data from an Oracle database. ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected

I'm trying to pull data from an Oracle database using SSIS. When I try to select a few fields from the source table, it returns the following error message:
    [OLE DB Source [47]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E14.
    An OLE DB record is available. Source: "OraOLEDB" Hresult: 0x80040E14 Description: "ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected".

The source columns are a combination of numeric and texts, and I've also tried selecting one of them, which didn't work. I'm using the Oracle client 11.2.0.1, and it works fine with any other data sources I have connected to so far. How can I resolve this

According to your description, the issue is a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected while pulling data from an Oracle database in SSIS.
Based on the error message, the issue should be you are comparing a number column to a non-number column in a query. Such as the query below (ConfID is a number, Sdate is a date):

Besides, a default behavior for the Oracle OleDb Provider that change the NLS Date Format of the session to 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS can also cause the issue. For more details about this issue, please refer to the following blog:

Linking data from PDF form into Indesign CS6

Hello all,
I'll be working on a magazine which has a large section of day camps technical descriptions :
name, contact info, location, short introduction text, activities icons (they have to choose up to 5 icons from a total of 12)
Is it possible to link data from a fillable PDF into predetermined and prestyled text boxes in Indesign CS6?
Would it be necessary to export in an Excel sheet prior?
What would be the best trick in order for the icons to place themselves automatically, if possible?

When placing a PDF into InDesign, it's a flat piece of art for each page included. There's no way to manipulate form fields or work with links or anything like that.
The data from the form would have to be collected and converted into an Excel file for placing into InDesign. (Collecting data from PDF forms and converting the Excel format can be done in Acrobat Pro.)

How to pull data from a c/c++ Application

I am working on a project to instrument a product which runs on java as well as c/c++.
Is there a way to pull data from a c/c++ application to a MBean?
I am able to push the data through a custom TCP Adapter, But I could not get much help on a pull model.
Also I would like to get some pointers on instrumentation techniques / patterns.

Automated process to pull data from a web page without using VS and PS.

I'm looking at finding a solution to pull data from an external web page and creating a list. I'm looking for a NON-POWERSHELL AND NON-VISUAL STUDIO solution. I am open to using InfoPath Designer.
There exists a custom, non-SharePoint page built for us which has raw data. We've already created a custom list to match the data and now need to come up with a solution to automatically update the data. In this particular scenario, power shell and visual
studio cannot be used.

Why would you cripple yourself and restrict PowerShell at the very least which has perfect functionality for doing exactly that.
I doubt you could use the InfoPath data sources to pull the raw data in, re-map it and save to SharePoint without resorting to some sort of coding within InfoPath.

Using ABAP DATA FLOW to pull data from APO tables

I am trying to use an ABAP Data flow to pull data from APO and receive error 150301. I can do a direct table pull and receive no error, but when I try to put it in an ABAP data data flow I get the issue. Any help would be great.

I know you "closed" this, however someone else might read it so I'll add that when you use an ABAP dataflow, logic can be pushed to ECC - table joins, filters, etc. (Which can be seen in the generated ABAP).

UNIQUE Problem in pulling DATA from DATA base table to internal table

Hi Chandan ,
Database fetch is case sensitive ,So u need to give exact format in where condition.
Make your parameter and database in same case so that you need not worry about case sensitivity .
Check the lowecase check box in the domain .
Then declare your parameter
PARAMETERS:
P_Mita
TYPE   ZLT_Mita-M1 LOWER CASE .
You can do the vice versa also by unchecking lowercase and giving Upper case instead of lower in parameter declartion .

You have to do the following:
1. Create an entry in Trxn DBCA for SQL Server in SAP, you are creating a database connection for the SQL server in SAP.
2. You use this connection, and write Native SQL stmnts...between EXECSQL...ENDEXEC to fetch the data..and then normal ABAP statements to put that data into your ztable.

Copy Data From PDF

Hi,
I having an WD JAVA application where a filled in Interactive PDF Form is upoaded through File Upload UI.
In the appliocation, there is a local node (Cardinality = 1:1) where the Data from PDF has to be copied to that.
Please let us know how to do that without parsing.

Hi,
If you want to get the data from PDF form without parsing you need to do binding of all the fields of addobe form to webdynpro context.
You must be having a application for saving the pdf form to your system so just open the form in Interactive form Ui element and after selecting the UI element from adobe form go to binding tab under object tab. Bind the field with the proper context in default binding section. But first make sure that your dataSource property of the Interactive form element is bind with the datanode.
In that way after uploading the form data will come to webdynpro context automatically.
