Punchout catalog for testing

Hi ,
Can I know a sample punchout catalog to test SRM  connectity and checking the functionality?

Hi,
It was quite easy to get user ID and password from supplier. Customer asked several suppliers to provide demo catalog and suppliers were very welcome to provide it.
If you have no supplier contact, I would test it as follows.
1. For logon, use httpWatch tool and make sure the parameters are passed in the post method.
2. For OCI return, use static html page and hard code the return URL
Some hint is in old thread.
[OCI custom Form(HOOK_URL) Data Return|OCI custom Form(HOOK_URL) Data Return]

  • Punchout Catalog-Sending Email value to supplier catalog

    Hi,
    I have configured punchout catalog for one supplier from customizing>>defining external web services in SRM.  We have to send user's email ID to supplier catalog page so that this will be unique value which  will identify user. can anyone please suggest me how to send SAP SRM email value to supplier.
    I could able to send SAP SRM userID to supplier by setting parameter value as "SY-UNAME" and type as sap filed.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Please implement the BADI BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH for passing additional parameters.
    Here is IMG description.
    Transfer Additional Parameters
    Use
    With the Business Add-In (BAdI) BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH, you can transfer additional parameters to an external Web Service, such as a product catalog or a vendor list.
    The SRM Server always calls the BAdI when an external Web Service is called up. You can modify the BAdI to your requirements, for example, in order to transfer dynamic data that could not be imported via system tables.
    Standard settings
    In the standard the Business Add-In is active. The default coding is carried out automatically. The standard implementation is only run for the business type E-Forms.
    The BAdI is reusable.
    The BAdI provides the following methods:
    CAT_CALL_ENRICH
    Activities
    You can transfer additional name-value pairs to the Web Service:
    1. Create a new BAdI definition (see Implementation).
    2. Add new entries to the internal table
    ct_post_values. The table has the line category SAVWCTXT . Enter a field name and a value for each entry. Do not enter a field index.
    Example
    You wish to order business cards and you want to provide the text for the cards to the vendor (Implementation CL_IM_BBP_BUSINESSCARDS).

  • Best way to set up 4.3RC for testing w/ new catalog

    After saying I had very few issues running LR 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2 on a Win 7 32-bit machine, I have started running into problems after trying to make some color corrections using the CA and defringe options. Deleting the preference file did not help, so I am guessing the best thing to do would try the 4.3RC on a new catalog. Can someone please confirm the correct way to do this without the RC taking over my current catalog. Should I delete 4.2 before installing 4.3RC? I think I would need to rename the Catalog.lrcat file and the Previews.lrdata file so that they would not be pickied up by the RC. Correct? If so, once I have a new catalog in 4.3RC, I would import some files and see how it works out. If I once again become a happy user, how would I import my previous settings from the renamed files? Thanks, everyone, for all the help you do provide to users.

    Hi retiredff,
    How to continue will depend on your test results.
    * If the new catalog should not be any better, I'd suspect the culprit among those recently added files.
    So could you think of removing them from your main-now-unusable-catalog?
    If you want to preserve your development work you could select them in grid mode and choose "Export as Catalog", before removing them. Then you can Import from this Another Catalog later. But maybe your main catalog is so unusable even in Library module that triggering this operation would be too much of a pain.
    * If the new catalog should work fine, even with the heavy-develop-edits: something with your old catalog has gone weird.
    The usual suspect "corrupted preferences file" would not explain such low responsiveness, but still you could rename them and have LR re-create a new version afterwards.
    The next usual suspect would then be dodgy previews. So I would rename the previews folder of your main catalog, so that LR does not recognise it any more and start to create new ones. If then everthing behaves fine again, ok, let LR run some nights and days depending on your catalog size, until it will have rebuilt new previews. If no improvement, undo the renaming and enjoy your previews immediately back.
    If you cannot get the full main catalog workable by this, +++ you might have to import in smallish portions (e.g. folder containing no more than 1000 images) into your new good one.
    If possible do this by first exporting as catalog from your main catalog. (Not needed if you write to xmp and can do without virtual copies, collection membership, stacks.)
    Backup your new catalog after every import portion, once you have established that it is still working fine.
    Because at some import you might encounter the old problem again and then revert to the last backup.
    As of +++ it is pure guess work of me.
    Instead of the small cumbersome version you could also try to import from your entire main catalog, as one test shot. Only 1 action to trigger, and test result may take a while to show up. LR has to rebuild previews in the new catalog, too.
    With a new good catalog you could also decide to 'hibernate' with that for a while, using the new catalog for new imports while bridging the time until LR4.3final or even further on. You would be unable to access your previous work, but would have a working develop-able LR-catalog.
    You can merge the catalogs later. Just remain clear where each photo is - ideally in exactly one or the other catalog.
    This could be a viable option also if your main catalog is just unusable for develop, but good for library tasks.
    I do not remember from the long performance issues thread if creating a small new catalog did anything good for people with heavy problems.
    But most of them had them throughout LR4.x, whereas yours started all of a sudden during LR4.2.
    Could be something else entirely, of course.
    So just start to test and report back about your results. There are other very friendly and helpful community members with much more trouble-shooting experience and ideas than I have.
    But maybe you won't need them.
    Keep fingers crossed,
    Cornelia

  • Punchout Catalog Items are not transfering to Consumer Portal (SRM 7.0)

    Dear Experts,
    We are able to add a punch out calatog after check out items are not tranfered to Consumer Portal ( Not able to see selected items in shop screen). Same thing is working fine with Producer Portal.
    1. Tried with RDL and RRA.
    2. Internal Calatog isworking fine in both portals.
    3. Checked all the permission and role assigmnment. every thing is fine and working fine except Punchout Catalog.
    Please helps us to resolve this issue.
    Appreciate all your support.

    Dear Experts,
    We have checked with Internal URL and it is working fine. So i feel we dont have any issue with BADI.
    We have identified the difference between Dev( Working fine)  and QA (Not Working) in HTTPWatch log.
    When we test navigation for Punchout Catalog in Dev :  Consumer (External URL) --> Producer (External URL) --> Externla Stie
    When we test navigation for Punchout Catalog in QA :  Consumer (External URL) --> Producer (Internal URL) --> Externla Stie
    So BASIS and Portal team compared DEV and QA and did not find any difference.

  • Questions about punchout catalogs in SRM 7.0

    1) Does SRM use any encryption when sending the catalog URL and the user ID and password to the punchout catalog.
    2) When the Punch out catalog sends back the data to SRM, are we exposing the SRM server to internet? (opening up a port etc)
    This could be a possible security risk
    3) How is session management handled? suppose 3 users are using the catalog simultaneously, how does the punchout catalog know , which items to transfer , where?
    4) How can we ensure that the punchout vendor is charging the correct prices as agreed in the contract and not changing them?
    5) If it is decided that all the items in the catalog be stored as product masters in SRM and a contract is maintained for them, is it possible to do a price check against that contract , at run time when the shopping cart is created ?
    6) Can the UNSPSC code sent by the vendor in the OCI data be stored in a std field in the shopping cart?
    Regards
    Kedar

    Hi Kedar,
    1) For enabling the xml variant of the oci, we need to pass two parameters in the call structure.
    ~xmltype = ESAPO3.5
    ~xmlDocument -????
    What should be the value of the xmlDocument parameter?
    As per the Document :"In this parameter the XML file that must correspond to one of the schemas above is transferred as a Base64-coded character set."
    So should it be a file name or file path??
    Also where do we get the file ? Could you provide an example of this parameter maintained in SRM?
    The value is as defined, it looks for the schema used, in the case of ESAP0-3.5 it should be the OpenCatalogInterface.xsd as defined in the documentation. I will attach the xsd for you to see, it should refer to the xml file contained within the HTML form submitted
    2) Does the OCi support any version of xml, provided a suitable reference file is provided? can it support pidx or cxml?
    I am not sure here, basically, we take the xml document passed and move it into the integration engine where it is parsed using the transformation BBP_OCI_XML_TO_RFC, i.e. inside function MAP_XML_TO_ITABS we call this if the xmltype = ESAP0-3.5
    IF xml_type = 'ESAPO-3.5'.
      Transfrom OCI XML data via XSLT to RFC structures
        TRY.
            CALL TRANSFORMATION bbp_oci_xml_to_rfc
              SOURCE XML IV_XML_DOCUMENT
              RESULT sc_items = lt_sc_items.
          CATCH CX_ROOT INTO lr_exception.
         CATCH cx_xslt_runtime_error.
            RAISE xslt_failure.
        ENDTRY.
      ENDIF.
    I guess if the XML type is not interpreted then you'll get an xslt failure
    3) When the supplier is sending the UNSPSC code, which field in the shopping cart is it copied?
    I didn't see any field by the name External category ID in the std. shopping cart. Is this copied to the Product category field?
    It is (I think, I haven't fully checked this in the coding) reffered to the Product Category field, the mapping for external product category is decided in Form  map_product_category
    IF NOT iv_ext_schema_type IS INITIAL OR
         NOT iv_ext_category_id IS INITIAL.
        PERFORM get_external_category_guid USING iv_ext_schema_type
                                                 iv_ext_category_id
                                        CHANGING cv_category_guid
                                                 cv_error.

  • Hook_URL issue in Punchout Catalog in ECC 6.0

    Hi Gurus,
    Now i am working on Punchout Catalog Procurement scenario.
    1)I have 2 vendors to which the Punchout needs to set up. I have completed the settings for one Vendor and it is working very fine without any issues.
    2)But when i use the same for the second Vendor, i am not able to bring back the items to SAP. I am having similar issues with this particular Vendor URL. For eg, when i login for the first time of the day, it will allow me with my User Id and Pwd what i have defined. It allows me to do the shopping but when i click on Check out, it will diaplay an error message "Error Logging In. Please contact your System admin". When i try to punch out for the second time it is not picking the Id and pwd automatically.The same is working for the Other Vendor. Please advice what settings need to be done for the enablement.
    3) When i checked on the XML log for the transactions done, it is throwing a message sapevent:POST for hook_URL.I am not able to get any clue regarding this.Through some lights on this.
    Ecpecting your reply. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,
    Saakithyan

    Hi.
      It appears to be the problem logging into the vendor's url. Best approach is to setup a meeting with vendor tech support and have them monitor the traffic as you are trying.
    Other things you can try from your side are...
    Clearing your browser cache/cookiets etc.
    Going to vendor URL directly on your Internet Explorer window.
      Making sure the passwords are entered in proper case.

  • No measures found in the OLAP catalog for user CS_OLAP

    Working in XP, with Oracle Database 10g 10.2.0.1.0, AWM 10.2.0.1A, JDeveloper installed from the 10.1.2.0.2 Developer Suite, BI Samples are 10.1.2.0.0)
    I'm receiving this error when connecting to the CS_OLAP schema through JDeveloper:
    "Warning: No measures were found in the OLAP catalog for user CS_OLAP; therefore, you will not be able to create OLAP queries with this connection."
    From the top...
    I've installed the sample databases (oe, pm, sh, etc..) from the Companion CD. The SH schema (required for installation of CS_OLAP) is present.
    I've executed install.bat from the ...\common_schema directory. It creates the CS_OLAP tablespace and user. There are no errors in the log file. It appears to be building the datafile. When it finishes, Enterprise Manager shows the CS_OLAP tablespace using 87% of its 325MB allocation.
    In Enterprise Manager, there are a total of three tables listed for the CS_OLAP schema. They are: AW$AWDEBUG, AW$SHAW, and AW$UTILS. There are no "regular" tables listed, just these three Analytic Workspaces. I open an OLAP Worksheet in AWM, and I can execute AW ATTACH CS_OLAP.SHAW FIRST RO, and see all of the objects in the AW. They are populated with dimension values and data. It's a full blown AW.
    I then installed the BI Beans sample applications. Again, no problems during installation.
    I opened JDeveloper, drilled on the BIBEANS sample workspace, opened the CATALOG project, and checked the connection settings for the catalogBIDesigner. The TEST of the connection was successful, but I received that warning message. The 'Presentation 1' crosstab returns no data, only the little default table. Basically, the system can't see any data in the CS_OLAP schema.
    So, an AW has been created for CS_OLAP, it's populated with dimensions and data, but JDeveloper doesn't see the contents.

    Nevermind.
    The answer is found in the version of the BI Samples zip file.
    BI_10_1_2_1_0_samples.zip works just fine.
    BI_10_1_2_0_0_samples.zip didn't.

  • Punchout Catalog through ECC

    Hi,
    We are using Punchout catalogs through ECC sytem, how do i monitor incoming log foe Punchout in ECC 6.0? Normally in SRM if i go to SLG1 i should be able to see all the parameters which are passed from Catalog to SRM system, i cant do the same in ECC, i dont get any log for Punchout Catalog.
    Am i looking at a wrong place?
    Please let me know
    thanks
    ronnie

    Hi Ronnie,
    unfortunately the option you are looking for is not exists in R/3, only in SRM.
    Please keep in mind that calling Catalog from Preq or PO has several limitations. this is one of them.

  • Punchout catalog issue

    I have several punchout catalogs working fine, except for one that I cannot connect the supplier's website. The set up is the same as with other punchout catalogs that I have. The error I get with this one is that access is denied. The supplier assures me I don't need a password to log in, but they say I have to have the XML set up correctly in order for authentication to occur at their site.
    I don't know what that means. What role does XML play in OCI interface? Can anyone help me with this issue?
    Thanks,
    SN

    Hi,
    XML has nothing to do with the call to the catalog, so if your supplier says that XML has to be setup correctly I doubt they have an OCI compliant catalog, more likely it will be a cXML one.
    OCI uses only a HTTP GET or POST to call the supplier catalog.
    Only the return message from the catalog to SRM you can choose between either a HTTP form or an XML variant.
    One other thing you might want to look at is if the supplier site uses a secure http connection (https://<url_to_catalog>) in which case you might need to add a certificate to your SRM server.

  • Punchout Catalog product category - Default product category mapped

    Hi,
    Currently we are getting default product category even though punchout catalog is sending different prooduct categories?
    We are using UNSPSC categoires and even punchout categories also same but default product category is coming not the punch out product category. Please note that if i click on Describe requirement then one default product category is coming up so same product category is coming for punch out catalog items.
    Can you please give me some idea how this is picking up.

  • How can I to use XML Catalog for OSM 7.0.3?

    I have a xquery that execute a business rules in view.When I put it inside Data Instance Behavior, tab Data, inline, and
    XQUERY the deploy in OSM doesn't work because it is a large xquery, more than 4000 characters.
    So, I saw in OSM 7.0.3 doc (Developer’s Guide,Release 7.0.3 - Using XML Catalogs in OSM) that there is a possibility
    of import resources files (xquery file in my case) in OSM Data Instance Behavior through XML Catalog.
    I executed the follow steps
    1) Add entry
    *<rewriteURI uriStartString="http://br.com.ctbc" rewritePrefix="osmmodel:///XQuery/1.0.0/resources"/>*
    to my catalog.xml, which is in path <My_Cartridge>/xmlCatalogs/core/catalog.xml
    2) Set XML_CATALOG_SUPPORT variable in Design Studio with "enable"
    3)Add *<oms-parameter>*
    *<oms-parameter-name>oracle.communications.ordermanagement.util.net.CatalogUriResolver.DefaultXmlCatalogsUris</oms-parameter-name>*
    *<oms-parameter-value>file://<My_domin>/XQuery/catalog.xqy</oms-parameter-value>*
    *</oms-parameter>* to oms-config.xml, after unpack osm.ear
    4) Created a Data Instance Behavior, inline and type XQuery whith source
    declare namespace ctbcoms = "http://br.com.ctbc";
    let $result := ctbcoms:retorna()
    *return <DadosOrdem><Fim>{$result}</Fim></DadosOrdem>*
    The XQuery that has the method retorna() has name: catalog.xqy. Code:
    module namespace ctbcoms = "http://br.com.ctbc.xquery";
    declare function ctbcoms:retorna()
    let $retorno := 'teste'
    return $retorno
    So, when I deployed my cartridge I get the mensage:
    Error on line 2

    I am using Design Studio 3.1.3 with OSM 7.0.3.
    Could have I a example these procedure? thank you !!!

    Two observations:
    1) Your inline xquery expression need to use the "import" xquery module expression. see point a) in my example below.
    2) the change in oms-config.xml is to support the case for overriding the cartridge xml catalog ( for example developer, qa tester, etc) so this step is not mandatory to get your cartridge working.
    =============================
    For example, In OSM Order To Activate Cartridges 703, the OrderLifeCycle, Amending State/Submit Amendment Transition has the following inline xquery which delegates xquery implementation details to a PoinOfNoReturn.xqy xquery module
    a) Inline Expression in Design Studio Entity
    CommunicationsSalesOrderFulfillmentPIP\Orders\POLICY\CommunicationsSalesOrderLifeCyclePolicy
    import module namespace pipponrfn = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/ordermanagement/pip/ponr" at "http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/ordermanagement/pip/ponr/PointOfNoReturn.xqy";
    let $taskData := fn:root(.)/GetOrder.Response
    let $checkPointOfNoReturn := pipponrfn:checkPointOfNoReturn($taskData)
    if ($checkPointOfNoReturn ..........
    b) xquery module
    module namespace pipponrfn = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/ordermanagement/pip/ponr";
    declare function pipponrfn:checkPointOfNoReturn($taskData as element()) as xs:boolean { ....};
    c) cartridge xml catalog
    CommunicationsSalesOrderFulfillmentPIP\xmlCatalogs\core\catalog.xml
    <rewriteURI uriStartString="http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/ordermanagement/pip/ponr" rewritePrefix="osmmodel:///CommunicationsSalesOrderFulfillmentPIP/1.0.0/resources"/>
    =======================
    Optinally if you have OSM 703.3 path you can use <oms-parameter><oms-parameter-name> in oms-config.xml if you need to OVERRIDE the cartridge xml catalog.
    d) osm-config.xml
    <oms-parameter>
    <oms-parameter-name>oracle.communications.ordermanagement.util.net.CatalogUriResolver.DefaultXmlCatalogsUris</oms-parameter-name>
    <oms-parameter-value>file:///<My_test_folder>/XQuery/catalog.xqy</oms-parameter-value>
    </oms-parameter>
    e) your developer xml catalog overrideing the cartridge catalog:
    your_full_path_to_xml_catalog.xml
    <rewriteURI uriStartString="http://xmlns.oracle.com/communications/ordermanagement/pip/ponr" rewritePrefix="file:///d:/your_full_path_to_test_folder"/>

  • Not able to Login to Punchout Catalogs from SRM 7 portal

    Hi Experts,
    We are upgrading from SRM5.0 to SRM7.0.
    We have 2 development boxes each for SRM5 and SRM7.
    The problem is Vendor Pucnhout URLs are not opening from SRM7 portal. It opens the login screen asking userid/password.
    I have compared the IMG activity (Define External Web Services (Catalogs, Vendor Lists etc.)) (The maintenance screen for general product catalog data ) . The User id and password are set same in SRM5 and SRM7.
    When I apply the userid/password (that is set under IMG) on the punchout site opened from portal, then the vendors site is not accepting it.
    Do we need to have different userid/password to make punchout catalogs working from SRM7?
    if yes, how can that be done?
    Thanks,
    Chandu

    The punchout URLs are working after enabling third party cookies.
    Path for IE is
    Tools-> Internet options-> Privacy-> Settings-Advanced -> Third_party Cookies-accept
    Firefox
    Tools-> Options-> Privacy->Accept Third Party Cookies

    Dear all
    Thru Punchout catalog we can link any Supplier Site or thru oracle exchange.com

    Hi,
    Your system is probably using "realms" to give access to different stores (punchout catalogs) to different responsibilities/users. Please add the missing store/punchout catalog to the realm assigned to the responsibility where you are not able to view the store.
    Please refer the following article for more details http://tenthsense.blogspot.com/2011/09/oracle-iprocurement-realms.html
    Thanks,
    Hiten
