Punchout Catalog through ECC

Hi,
We are using Punchout catalogs through ECC sytem, how do i monitor incoming log foe Punchout in ECC 6.0? Normally in SRM if i go to SLG1 i should be able to see all the parameters which are passed from Catalog to SRM system, i cant do the same in ECC, i dont get any log for Punchout Catalog.
Am i looking at a wrong place?
Please let me know
thanks
ronnie

Hi Ronnie,
unfortunately the option you are looking for is not exists in R/3, only in SRM.
Please keep in mind that calling Catalog from Preq or PO has several limitations. this is one of them.

  • Hook_URL issue in Punchout Catalog in ECC 6.0

    Hi Gurus,
Now i am working on Punchout Catalog Procurement scenario.
1)I have 2 vendors to which the Punchout needs to set up. I have completed the settings for one Vendor and it is working very fine without any issues.
2)But when i use the same for the second Vendor, i am not able to bring back the items to SAP. I am having similar issues with this particular Vendor URL. For eg, when i login for the first time of the day, it will allow me with my User Id and Pwd what i have defined. It allows me to do the shopping but when i click on Check out, it will diaplay an error message "Error Logging In. Please contact your System admin". When i try to punch out for the second time it is not picking the Id and pwd automatically. The same is working for the Other Vendor. Please advice what settings need to be done for the enablement.
    3) When i checked on the XML log for the transactions done, it is throwing a message sapevent:POST for hook_URL.I am not able to get any clue regarding this.Through some lights on this.
Ecpecting your reply. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,

    Hi.
It appears to be the problem logging into the vendor's url. Best approach is to setup a meeting with vendor tech support and have them monitor the traffic as you are trying.
Other things you can try from your side are...
    Clearing your browser cache/cookiets etc.
Going to vendor URL directly on your Internet Explorer window.
Making sure the passwords are entered in proper case.

  • ECC TO SRM-MDM CATALOG THROUGH SAP PI

We have a scenario where we are sending data from ECC to SRM-MDM Catalog through SAP PI and data is coming from ECC through proxy and sending to SRM u2013MDM catlog through file adapter. In ESR part we have used SAP defined standard service interfaces (CatalogueUpdateNotification as sender interface and MDMInfoRecordDataTransmission as a receiver interface). The mapping used is also standard one.
Now we have got requirement to send the data for vendor mat no, manufacturer field of info records from ECC to SRM-MDM catlog.  But we are unable to find out these two fields in standard interfaces/messages. Can anybody guide us how to add these fields in the current data types or is there any other standard interfaces we can use.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shiv,
    Many thanks for your reply.
Since we're not using XI / PI scenario and this is an upgrade from SRM 5.5 to SRM 7, Iu2019m using the same approach that was already used in SRM 5.5 with CCM 2.0.
The idea is that the catalogue and all the records maintained need to be associated to a contract. So, I add the contract ID and the correspondent contract item in the import file, in addition to the supplier name, product ID, price information and so on. I mapped the contract ID with the field contract price.
In relation to the price information fields, as I want it to be visible for any user that accesses the product catalogue, I tried different approaches:
    1.Using OCI Price information u2013 amount, currency, price base quantity and price base quantity UoM;
    2.Using OCI Price contract u2013 amount, currency, price base quantity and price base quantity UoM;
The first approach didnu2019t work very well, as I was not able to see price information when accessing the catalogue. I could only see it once I transfer the items to the SC. In addition, this approach had one problem. The products were displayed but it was not possible to select the items one by one. To do that I needed to select all the items of the catalogue and after that the detail of the contract ID was displayed in every item, allowing me to choose the items that I want to select to my SC.
The second approach was better as the information was visible when accessing the SC and I was able to select all the items, one by one, as it should be. The main problem of this approach was that Iu2019m getting errors in the SC when the materials have stock u2013 u201CInterface data contains errorsu201D. Or alternatively, if the items didnu2019t have stock, the SC was possible, but when I tried to create a PO from that SC, It simply does not work.
So, can someone help me? Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Andreia

  • Purchasing catalogs in ECC 6.0

    Hi,
Integration of purchasing catalogs in ECC 6.0
Can someone help me in the documentation of configuration for ME51N and ME21N.
    Thanks,
    Seshadri

Native R/3 does not support punchout from the PReq.  I know SAP has added the ability to punch-out from ECC6.0, but there are limitations on what it supports.  Also, just adding a Catalog button to the PReq (ME51n) transaction is not very useful for end users.  The fact is that the GUI is just too hard for your average user, so most companies using R/3 or ECC do not really support an end user self serve model.
So, we developed a new solution that works with R/3 or ECC.  It is an awesome looking Adboe Flex/Flash based UI and is a presentation layer.   It supports internally hosted catalogs, vendor hosted, buying on behalf of, etc.   The solution does not require any new hardware, software, etc.

  • Questions about punchout catalogs in SRM 7.0

    1) Does SRM use any encryption when sending the catalog URL and the user ID and password to the punchout catalog.
    2) When the Punch out catalog sends back the data to SRM, are we exposing the SRM server to internet? (opening up a port etc)
This could be a possible security risk
    3) How is session management handled? suppose 3 users are using the catalog simultaneously, how does the punchout catalog know , which items to transfer , where?
    4) How can we ensure that the punchout vendor is charging the correct prices as agreed in the contract and not changing them?
    5) If it is decided that all the items in the catalog be stored as product masters in SRM and a contract is maintained for them, is it possible to do a price check against that contract , at run time when the shopping cart is created ?
    6) Can the UNSPSC code sent by the vendor in the OCI data be stored in a std field in the shopping cart?
    Regards
    Kedar

    Hi Kedar,
    1) For enabling the xml variant of the oci, we need to pass two parameters in the call structure.
    ~xmltype = ESAPO3.5
    ~xmlDocument -????
What should be the value of the xmlDocument parameter?
As per the Document :"In this parameter the XML file that must correspond to one of the schemas above is transferred as a Base64-coded character set."
So should it be a file name or file path??
Also where do we get the file ? Could you provide an example of this parameter maintained in SRM?
The value is as defined, it looks for the schema used, in the case of ESAP0-3.5 it should be the OpenCatalogInterface.xsd as defined in the documentation. I will attach the xsd for you to see, it should refer to the xml file contained within the HTML form submitted
    2) Does the OCi support any version of xml, provided a suitable reference file is provided? can it support pidx or cxml?
I am not sure here, basically, we take the xml document passed and move it into the integration engine where it is parsed using the transformation BBP_OCI_XML_TO_RFC, i.e. inside function MAP_XML_TO_ITABS we call this if the xmltype = ESAP0-3.5
    IF xml_type = 'ESAPO-3.5'.
Transfrom OCI XML data via XSLT to RFC structures
        TRY.
            CALL TRANSFORMATION bbp_oci_xml_to_rfc
              SOURCE XML IV_XML_DOCUMENT
              RESULT sc_items = lt_sc_items.
          CATCH CX_ROOT INTO lr_exception.
         CATCH cx_xslt_runtime_error.
            RAISE xslt_failure.
        ENDTRY.
      ENDIF.
I guess if the XML type is not interpreted then you'll get an xslt failure
    3) When the supplier is sending the UNSPSC code, which field in the shopping cart is it copied?
I didn't see any field by the name External category ID in the std. shopping cart. Is this copied to the Product category field?
It is (I think, I haven't fully checked this in the coding) reffered to the Product Category field, the mapping for external product category is decided in Form  map_product_category
IF NOT iv_ext_schema_type IS INITIAL OR
         NOT iv_ext_category_id IS INITIAL.
        PERFORM get_external_category_guid USING iv_ext_schema_type
                                                 iv_ext_category_id
                                        CHANGING cv_category_guid

  • Punchout Catalog Items are not transfering to Consumer Portal (SRM 7.0)

    Dear Experts,
We are able to add a punch out calatog after check out items are not tranfered to Consumer Portal ( Not able to see selected items in shop screen). Same thing is working fine with Producer Portal.
    1. Tried with RDL and RRA.
    2. Internal Calatog isworking fine in both portals.
    3. Checked all the permission and role assigmnment. every thing is fine and working fine except Punchout Catalog.
Please helps us to resolve this issue.
    Appreciate all your support.

    Dear Experts,
We have checked with Internal URL and it is working fine. So i feel we dont have any issue with BADI.
We have identified the difference between Dev( Working fine)  and QA (Not Working) in HTTPWatch log.
When we test navigation for Punchout Catalog in Dev :  Consumer (External URL) --> Producer (External URL) --> Externla Stie
When we test navigation for Punchout Catalog in QA :  Consumer (External URL) --> Producer (Internal URL) --> Externla Stie
So BASIS and Portal team compared DEV and QA and did not find any difference.

  • Punchout catalog issue

I have several punchout catalogs working fine, except for one that I cannot connect the supplier's website. The set up is the same as with other punchout catalogs that I have. The error I get with this one is that access is denied. The supplier assures me I don't need a password to log in, but they say I have to have the XML set up correctly in order for authentication to occur at their site.
I don't know what that means. What role does XML play in OCI interface? Can anyone help me with this issue?
    Thanks,
    SN

    Hi,
XML has nothing to do with the call to the catalog, so if your supplier says that XML has to be setup correctly I doubt they have an OCI compliant catalog, more likely it will be a cXML one.
OCI uses only a HTTP GET or POST to call the supplier catalog.
Only the return message from the catalog to SRM you can choose between either a HTTP form or an XML variant.
One other thing you might want to look at is if the supplier site uses a secure http connection (https://<url_to_catalog>) in which case you might need to add a certificate to your SRM server.

  • To use SRM Catalog from ECC

    Hi All,
there is a way to use the SRM catalog from ECC system?
Can I buy items from ECC system selecting them from SRM catalog?
    Thanks in advance.
    Antonio.

    Hi Antonio,
If I have understood your question correctly - you are looking out to buy products within ECC system using SRM system
If this is the case, you can do 2 things-
    1. You can replicate all ECC products to SRM and buy them from standard SRM shopping cart functionality; wherein a search functionality would be avaialable to find out a perticular replicated backend product. Regarding maintenance of prices for these products- you can use 'interlinkages' withing SRM. You can maintain separate price of different vendors for a same product using interlinkages.
    2. I am not sure about CCM but if SAP MDM is in your scope along with SRM, then you can replicate all ECC products as standard catalogs items to MDM from ECC. This would require XI as a middileware. Once replicated you can use these catalogs from buying purpose withing SRM
    Hope this helps you.
    Best Regards,
    Amit

  • Punchout catalog error coming back into SRM

    Hi Gurus,
I have been searching the forums trying to figure out this issue.  We are getting a portal runtime error when a punchout catalog item is trying to get returned back into SRM shopping cart.
From the portal this is the main part of the error com.sapportals.portal.appintegrator.ApplicationIntegratorException: Unable to process template 'HP:HP BLc7000 CTO 3 IN LCD Plat Enclosure<a TARGET=viewer HREF=null?q=kZ39rZIJIZG$G5Ea5I7> [More details]</a>', because 'a' is an invalid terminal property of the Root context
This is what my config looks like
    Thanks,
    Jeff

Solved.  It was bad targets being sent back from the vendor.

  • CRM integration possibility with gATP through ECC

    Hey Gurus,
We would like to setup the integration between CRM (731), ECC (606) and gATP.
But I will NOT setup gATP integration directly with CRM. But rather CRM sales order replicated in ECC, ECC should perform the ATP check by calling gATP. Afterwards the ECC sales order replicates back to CRM. Then CRM get the ATP result from gATP indirectly.
And it should not requires performing ATP check manually in VA02 after CRM order replicates to ECC.
Has anyone experience such indirect integration between CRM and APO/gATP?
    Thanks,
    Br,
    Ying

    Hi Bala,
    Thanks for the input.
While we have the RFC and Logical setup between ECC<->SCM.
And data exchange between CRM and ECC has also been established.
Currently we can run ECC-APO gATP integration.
The thing is we want to integrate CRM into this gATP check through ECC.
As you mentioed: RFC and connections between ECC - APO- CRM, do you mean besides ECC <-> SCM/APO connection, we should also setup the RFC and logical system connection in bi-direction between CRM <-> SCM/APO?
From CRM side, there is one customization about ATP check - "ATP Profile", it can be set as "ECC ATP check" or "No ATP check". (we do not want to use "APO ATP check" profile in CRM).
Based on your experience, which one of the scenario/ATP check possibility would work out for the delayed ATP check scenario?
Looking forward to your further input.
    Thanks,
    Best regards,
    Ying

  • Punchout Catalog product category - Default product category mapped

    Hi,
Currently we are getting default product category even though punchout catalog is sending different prooduct categories?
We are using UNSPSC categoires and even punchout categories also same but default product category is coming not the punch out product category. Please note that if i click on Describe requirement then one default product category is coming up so same product category is coming for punch out catalog items.
Can you please give me some idea how this is picking up.

  • Not able to Login to Punchout Catalogs from SRM 7 portal

    Hi Experts,
We are upgrading from SRM5.0 to SRM7.0.
We have 2 development boxes each for SRM5 and SRM7.
The problem is Vendor Pucnhout URLs are not opening from SRM7 portal. It opens the login screen asking userid/password.
I have compared the IMG activity (Define External Web Services (Catalogs, Vendor Lists etc.)) (The maintenance screen for general product catalog data ) . The User id and password are set same in SRM5 and SRM7.
When I apply the userid/password (that is set under IMG) on the punchout site opened from portal, then the vendors site is not accepting it.
Do we need to have different userid/password to make punchout catalogs working from SRM7?
if yes, how can that be done?
    Thanks,
    Chandu

The punchout URLs are working after enabling third party cookies.
    Path for IE is
    Tools-> Internet options-> Privacy-> Settings-Advanced -> Third_party Cookies-accept
    Firefox

  • Punchout Catalog-Sending Email value to supplier catalog

    Hi,
I have configured punchout catalog for one supplier from customizing>>defining external web services in SRM.  We have to send user's email ID to supplier catalog page so that this will be unique value which  will identify user. can anyone please suggest me how to send SAP SRM email value to supplier.
I could able to send SAP SRM userID to supplier by setting parameter value as "SY-UNAME" and type as sap filed.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Satish Aralkar

    Hi,
Please implement the BADI BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH for passing additional parameters.
    Here is IMG description.
    Transfer Additional Parameters
    Use
With the Business Add-In (BAdI) BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH, you can transfer additional parameters to an external Web Service, such as a product catalog or a vendor list.
The SRM Server always calls the BAdI when an external Web Service is called up. You can modify the BAdI to your requirements, for example, in order to transfer dynamic data that could not be imported via system tables.
    Standard settings
In the standard the Business Add-In is active. The default coding is carried out automatically. The standard implementation is only run for the business type E-Forms.
    The BAdI is reusable.
The BAdI provides the following methods:
    CAT_CALL_ENRICH
    Activities
You can transfer additional name-value pairs to the Web Service:
    1. Create a new BAdI definition (see Implementation).
    2. Add new entries to the internal table
ct_post_values. The table has the line category SAVWCTXT . Enter a field name and a value for each entry. Do not enter a field index.
    Example
You wish to order business cards and you want to provide the text for the cards to the vendor (Implementation CL_IM_BBP_BUSINESSCARDS).
