Punchout from ECC 6.0 MM via OCI to MDM Catalog

Hi Folks,
my customer wants to integrate the SRM MDM Catalog with ECC 6.0/MM without using SRM or XI. I already found threads talking about external catalogs being linked from MM using
ECC SPRO : Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Web Services: ID and Description
which I have available. However, I was expecting an entry for example in PM where I have the activities for OCI (Catalog ID, HTML-Fields etc.) in detail, but not a general web service ID an description. I am familiar with OCI, but not with web services.
How can I use the web service ID to turn into a configurable OCI-interface?
Thanks, Andy

Hi Andreas,
For our customer we would like to link ECC5 MM to SRM-MDM 2.0.
Our MDM catalog works well with SRM EBP 5.5.
For a different scenario we would like to link MDM directly to ECC5 : MM / PM / PS.
1. In ECC5 MM there is no customizing entry for Web Services.
It used to be :
IMG --> Material Management --> Purchasing --> Environment Data --> Web Services.
This entry is no longer exist.
Do you have an idea of how to link MM to MDM ?
2. In order to link MDM to ECC5 PM, we customize :
IMG --> Plant Maint ... --> Maintenance and services ... --> Maintenance and services order --> Interface for procurement Using catalogs (OCI) --> define catalog
I did the same setting as in SRM EBP.
and also
IMG --> Plant Maint ... --> Maintenance and services ... --> Maintenance and services order --> Interface for procurement Using catalogs (OCI) --> Assign Catalog to Order type
I assign
PM01 order type,
a plant,
sequence 1
Catalog ID.
I have no idea about the following entry in this table :
- Organization
- User
- Password.
I put them with blank value.
Thanks for your help.

  • Vendor Master Replication Error  from ECC to SUS : Error in ALE Service

    Dear Experts,
We are implementing MM SUS (SRM 5.0). As a part of this we need to replicate vendors from ECC to SUS system via XI. We have created a Reduced Message Type Z_CREMAS_SUSMM and had set up the partner profile in WE20 with SUS logical system as destination and specifing the Message Type, and port of the XI system
We executed the transaction BD14 for replication, it is resulting in error 29 : Error in ALE Service : Entry in Outbound table not found.
Please provide inputs to overcome this problem
    Thank you,
    Regards,

    Hi,
    Check
Re: Idoc Error Status "Entry in outbound table not found "
Looks like some issue with the partner profile set up for the sender or receiver of the EDI message in WE20.
Set up them again and When these have been set up try reprocessing your IDocs from BD87

  • Contract data from ECC to MDM

    HI all,
We have standard setup to push Contract data to catalog from ECC using MECCM transaction from ECC... and Via PI we use the standard way to FTP the file... we use standard mapping interface in PI - CatalogueUpdateNotification_Out... which in turn pushes the Data from PI to FTP server. Where the MDM picks it and upload it.
Everything works fine.... But I need to understand how the MDM recogize the File and how the PORT and XML schemas upload the FIle into MDM database???
Need to Identify whether it can be modified???
    regards,
    Prabhu

    Hi Prabhu,
You can upload the xsd from PI into MDM. To get the schema go to your message type and click on xsd tab and copy and paste in notepad and save as .xsd and upload. Else you need to create the schema in external tools like altova xml spy or stylus studio etc.
There is option in MDM whether to load that file from the port automatically or manually. If automatic it will load immediate else you need to run manaully the file.
Need to Identify whether it can be modified???
I did not understand this. Do you mean to change something in the file once written from PI. If yes then try to go to MDM console and open the port and load it manually. So the file will be sitting there and you can modify and upload manually through Import Manager. But this is not advisable in production.
If PI is sending a csv or tab delimited file then you dont need to have a schme for that. You can load it manually.

  • OCI Catalog Punchout From MM/PM

    Hello,
We are configuring an externally maintained OCI punchout catalog with the MM and PM modules within ECC.
When adding items to the requisition in MM, and the work order in PM, none of the fields are fixed (non-changeable/editable).  I was expecting certain fields (e.g. Price, Material Group, Vendor, etc.) to be fixed  - similar to when punching out from an SRM system.
Shouldn't the applicable fields be non-editable?
    Thanks,

  • Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0

    Hi,
I'm interested in knowing whether anyone has used the distribution model to copy roles (AG objects) between ECC 6 and SRM 5.0.
Someone said that it's possible so I would like to validate that statement as I don't know whether it is possible and practical.
If you have any knowledge or experience could you please share it?
    Regards,
    Jerry

    Hello Yann,
I was told that it can be done but I don't know enough about the HR replication process to acknowledge or challenge, hence the question.
Are you implying that it's not possible or simply that it's not done?
I had an earlier post regarding assigning roles to positions in SRM Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0 that you replied to but never replied to my subsequent question. It can be done because one of my other clients is doing it. We're however unable to get it work at my current client's site. Do you have any experience with this subject?

First of all push ECC data in to GTS server through T.code:/N/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGALR3. First click on Master data tab there enter customer/vendor number then execute.
2-Go to document tab there enter Sales order no/PO number then execute it.
Then go to GTS server in compliance management module you can get all the information.

  • When transferring HR data from ECC to CRM via change pointers

When transferring HR data from ECC to CRM via change pointers ,certain data is getting earsed in CRM
paricularly the last name and first name of BUT000
Do you have any idea why this could be happening
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Kittu,
Change pointers. Change pointers are R/3 objects that mark changes to SAP master data. Change pointers are managed by mechanisms in a Shared Master Data (SMD) tool and are based on Change Document (CD) objects. CD objects record the changes occurring to master data at a field level. These changes are stored in tables CDHDR (header table) and CDPOS (detail table). ALE configuration provides a link between CD objects and change pointers. Internal mechanisms update tables BDCP and BDCPS, which host the change pointers. While CD objects are application-data-specific, the processing status of change pointers is message-type-specific. Also, the ALE change pointers are activated first at a general level and then at the message-type level.
    use this links kittu.

  • Purchase Requisition transfer from ECC to SRM via XI

    Experts,
Please let me know if you have any information on  the following issue:
Environment : SRM 7.0,  ECC ep4,  Extended Classic scenario
The purchase requisitions have been created in ECC and released. I believe in SRM 7.0  the PR's get automatically transferred to  SRM Sourcing cockpit via XI from ECC.
One PR was pushed manually from SMQ1(Outbound queue ) in  ECC and this failed due to a login issue in XI.
The XI was using the interface  PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest.
    My question is
    1. When the PR is released in ECC, where to check if the PR is pushed to XI. Do we need to schedule a job? When I checked SMQ1 (outbound queue, the queues are empty)
    2. Do we need to define the partner profile in ECC for XI in We20. If so, then what message types to use for the  IDocs going from ECC to XI.
    2. Do we need to configure the interface PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest in XI to map the incoming PR from ECC.
    3. In transaction SXMB_moni in XI  I am not able to pull the  XML messages. What options options do I need to
set to pull the messages that errored out.
    Thanks,
    Scott.

    Hi All,
Hope this helps you for XI configuration
       Importing Business Scenarios for Sourcing
In this section, you transfer the business scenario Strategic Sourcing from the SAP Integration Repository, generate it, and activate it.
    Prerequisites
    You have:
Defined the business systems for SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) and SAP ERP in the SAP System Landscape Directory. For more information about SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI), see the SAP Marketplace
Imported the SAP NetWeaver PI content for SAP SRM into the SAP Integration Repository.
    Procedure
Log on to the SAP Netweaver PI system.
    Choose Integration Builder: Configuration.
In the left pane, select the Objects tab.
Choose  Service Without Partner  Business System .
Right-click to display the context menu and choose  Business Systems  Assign Business System . This opens the wizard.
Choose Continue. The wizard guides you through the required steps.
Create the business system for both SAP SRM and ERP (you can bypass this step if the business system is already setup).
    Select a business system.
You can create communication channels either manually or automatically. You can create them automatically here. In this case, the systems are applied from the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). Channels must be complete in terms of URLs and authentication information.
Choose Finish, and then choose Close.
    11. On the main screen, choose  Tools  Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository . This opens a wizard.
Choose Name using input help SE_Sourcing_Enhancements
Choose Continue. The scenario name is SE_Sourcing_Enhancements.
Choose Finish and then choose Close. The Business Scenario Configurator opens automatically.
    Choose Component View.
The Select Component View window opens.
    Choose Apply.
Choose Assign Services. The Assign Services to Application Component window opens.
Press F4 to retrieve the available services.
    Choose Assign.
Select the related service and choose OK.
Assign a business service to all roles.
    Choose Configure Connections.
Select the connections from the Service Assignment tab.
Press F4 in the Communication Channel field.
Select a communication channel. This channel must be of type XI.
    Note
If the systems are applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, the Integration Builder automatically creates the communication channels.
If the systems are not applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, you create communication channels manually. To do this choose an existing service and then Communication Channel using context menu New. You must assign a communication channel for each connection.
    End of the note.
Choose OK and then choose Apply.
Choose Generate to open the Create Configuration Objects window.
Choose Simulation, then Generate, then mark all in the list Scope of Generation.
Choose Start to generate a log. Check the log for errors and save it if required.
In the Close Integration Scenario screen, choose Apply.
In the left pane, select the Scenarios tab; your scenario has been added.
In the left pane, select the Change List tab.
    Expand the Standard Change List.
Right click on the scenario name SE_Sourcing_Enhancements and choose Activate.

  • Pushing Purchase Requisition from ECC to SRM via XI  in PPS

    Dear Experts,
    Environment SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 ep4 and PPS 33.0
We are having an issue with pushing the Purchase Requisitions from ECC to SRM 7.0 via XI  using the SOA.                              There is an Application error on the receiving side in SRM (Faulty exchange Data)  when pushing the PR from XI to SRM using the inbound interface Purchasing RequestERPSourcing_In.                                                                                The outbound interface from ECC to Xi PurchasingRequest_ERPSourcing_Out is working fine without any errors.
Please let me know if any one has similiar issues in a PPS public sector implementation and any resolutions?
Thanks in advance for the help,
    Scott

    HI ,
If you have the xml in srm having status "Transfer to external application" then you can use the Forward Error Handling (FEH) concept in SOA. If you have done the required configuration for FEH and use transaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2 in SRM you will be able to see the actual error why xml is failing. Also rememeber to change the value for field Mode of postprocessing Order to 0 in the screen you get after running tranaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2
To configure FEH refer note: 1270081
    Hope this helps.

  • Get Plant data From ECC Via. Midedleware

    HI,Experts :
       I work in SRM7.0.ECS!
I get material data fron ECC Via. CRM Middleware .BUT the Plant data not in it .How can I get the plant data (just plant number) Via. CRM Middleware ? I need your suggestions warmly?
      BR
      Alex!

    Hi Alex
check these two reports in srm 7.0
    BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_ALL
    BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED
    after replicating plant
generally in srm 5.0 we run any one of the report and bring the plant into srm and map the plant in extended attribute tab in locations
here we type BP number ( of plant - once you transfer a plant from ecc to srm , it creates a BP for each plant) and we map as said earlier.
    check it up .
try one plant BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED  by this report . make ensure no ranges available for Business partner in bucf tcode

  • How to delete Master Data transferred from ECC to APO via CIF

    Hi, all
I'm connecting SCM 5.1 with ECC 6.0 via CIF.
    When activating Integration Model in ECC, the following error occurred;
"Location 0001 of type 1001 (BSG 592BUSGP) already exists in APO"
This is because Location 0001 was already transferred from different ECC client via CIF, and not cleared.
I'm now trying to initialise master data transferred from ECC to APO via CIF, but in vain.
I suppose I have to first delete all master data CIFed from ECC in APO, or have to execute initialisation of APO master data with ECC data in ECC.
Please tell me how to do this.
    For details, please read the followings;
I connected APO client with ECC client 590.
I transferred Plant and Material Master from ECC to APO via CIF.
After that, I wanted to change ECC client from 590 to the other.
I created the other client (592) by client-copying from 590 with SAP_ALL copy profile.
I deactivated Integration Model in ECC 590, and activated the same in ECC 592.
    Here, I faced the problem.
The initial data transfer failed due to the duplicate of data.
Now I'm wondering how I can initialise master data in APO and transfer initial data from ECC.
Due to testing purposes, I have to change ECC clients from one to the other this time, but I cannot initialise master data in APO and cannot tansfer initial data from different ECC client.
    thanks in advance,
    Hozy

    Hi all,
Thank you very much indeed for lots of your replies.
Thanks to all of your advices, I'm getting to understand what to do.
Well, I'll say I have to create one more client for testing with other ECC clients or I have to rebuild the client by client-copying from 001 and implementing all transportation requests, for marking del flags to each master data and running del programme sound like tough work, and sound like odd ..
Then, I've got next issue here.
In SCM-APO, I use BI objects, and , if I have to create several clients for testing, I have to set up clients where you can use both BI objects and CIFed master data.
I suppose I have to change 'BWMANDT' in RSADMINA and make RSA1 accessable in other SCM clients and implement tests.
Also, I have to register BI System for newly created SCM clients in RSA1-SourceSystem.
Well, if you have any experiences on this kind of use, and if you have any advice on it, please give me any tips.
Particulary, I'd appreciate very much if you give me advice on which way you have chosen; creating several clients or rebuilding the one client in SCM-APO when you use both BI objects, CIFed master data and Demand Planning.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Data import from ECC to MDG via MDMGX tool for CC group and CC hierarchy

    Hello,
We currently in process of importing data from ECC to MDG (co-deployed).
The MDMGX guide we follow mention about Accout (ACCA), Cost Center(CCTR) and Profit Center (PCTR).
While doing DIF, it shows above 3 domains but didnt mention about how cost center group(CCTRG), Cost center hierarchy (CCTRH) and same with profit center group (PCTRG) and profit center hierarchy (PCTRH) will be imported to MDG?
is there seperate process to bring hierarchy data from ECC to MDG?
    Thnx in advance
    Sahil

    Hello Sahil
With MDMGX you can load individual master data but for group and hierarchies, you have to use the old procedure. If you ask me, then the MDMGX takes longer time rather that downloading the data in file from tables directly and upload it in MDG.
Go through this document and load the hierarchy and group data.
