Purchase and then back up of multiple tunes

I have purchases 3 tracks at the same time through iTunes. All three appear on my electronic receipt. All 3 tracks are in my purchase history in my account. I want to back the tracks up onto a different computer. Two of the 3 tracks won't move. The file summarys identify the file kind as "Protected AAC audio file". The other track is identified as "Purchased AAC audio file". Why don't all three appear as purchased aac audio files?

They are all purchased and they are all in AAC. But "Purchased" is iTunes-speak for "not DRM protected" while "Protected" means "DRM protected."
However, DRM protection does not prevent you from making a copy for another authorized computer, so I do not understand your reference to "tracks won't move."

I'd start off your troubleshooting process by deleting and redownloading the songs:
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
Download your previously purchased song from this list.

Welcome to the Apple community.
So long as you are logged into the iTunes Store, using the correct ID and password (settings >store), then you will always have access to your apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc bought via the iTunes Store on that account.

No one would know what Apple is working on, unless they announce, which they very rarely do.

1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two and tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo

Please check in Settings: General: Keyboard: International Keyboards how many there are and which.
If there is more than one you can either delete the ones that you don't use, or if you want to type on different ones at different times you can change between them using the key with a world that appears when you are using the keyboard.

Converting from spreadshet string to array and then back to spreadsheet string

My questions is; why is the Spreadsheet string to array function creating more data than the original string had when you change the array back into a spreadsheet string. Im trying to analyze a comma delimited file using array functions since my column and row size is constant, but my data varies. Thus my reason for not using string parsing functions which would get more involved and difficult. So, however, after i convert to a 2D array of data from the comma delimited file I read from, and then I convert back to string using the Array to Spreadsheet String, I get added columns to the file, which prevents another program from receiving these files. Also, the data which I am reading is not all contiguous, it has gaps in some places for empty data. Looking at the file compared to the original after it has gone from string to array and then back to string again, looks almost identical except for the file size which got larger by 400 bytes and where the original file has empty spaces, the new file has a lot of commas added. Any idea?

The result you get is normal when the spreadsheet string contains rows of uneven length. Since the array rows have the same number of elements, nil values are added during the coonversion. And of course, the back to string conversion keep those added values in the string, with the associated commas.
example : 3 x 3 array
1,2,3
4
5,6,7
is converted into
1 2 3
4 0 0
5 6 7
then back to
1,2,3
4,0,0
5,6,7

Yu can copy it to your iPad from your computer, but if you rent it directly on the iPad then you can't copy it off - from here :
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.
From when you rent a movie you have 30 days in which to watch it, but once you start watching it you have 48 hours to finish watching it (24 hours in the US) - you can watch it as many times as like within those 48 (or 24) hours.

I went to Purchases and it worked from there having had the same problem you describe.

Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Take the applicable steps in this support article. The Wireless Diagnostics program generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
Step 2
Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Step 3
If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. What happened to the option to see all your purchased movies alphabetically? I can only see recent purchases and then I have to look by movie type. With over 500 movies purchased this is a huge pain.

I will stop buying films via AppleTV if this is the way it is going to stay. I am not searching for films in this crazy manner.

Same issue here. Might have to do with size of library. I too have over 300 purchased movies. "ALL PURCHASED" folder disappeared yesterday on all my AppleTV's. My son only has 20+ purchased movies and his still shows "ALL" folder. However, I had him log in under my account and "ALL" folder is missing??? I hope Apple gets this resolved quickly. I too do not want to flip through various Genres looking for movies.

My iPhone continually shows me an Invalid SIM message or SIM Failure. If I switch my phone off and then back on it works ok for a maximum of 10 mins, and then I get the same message appearing. How can I resolve it?

My iPhone 4S keeps on giving me an error message about my SIM Card. It either tells me invalid SIM or SIM Failure. The only way i can rectify this it to switch my phone off and then back on again, but this resolve only lasts for 10-15 Mins, and then the same error message appears. i Had a simular issue years ago with my blackberry on ATT. As it turned out, my SIM had some issues. I would head over to your carrier and get a free sim replacement. It could be a phone or SW issue, but the Sim is my first guess give my experience
