Purchase Change Message when Goods Receipt takes place

Hello,
   Is it possible configure a Purchase Order Output determination when Goods Receipt is posted? We want to send ORDCHG IDOC message to a third party system when Goods Receipt takes place.

USE the message type WMMBXY.. its sends the material document each time it is posted

    Hello All,
    I have some difficulty in understanding the accounting entries when Invoice Verification takes place before Goods Receipt.
    The scenario is as below: - (It is taken from one of the SAP documentation - AC530 - Actual Costing & Material Ledger- pg.No.2-8)
    1) Stock of material available u2013 50 units / Value Rs.125 /Moving average price in the material master Rs.2.50 per unit
    2) Invoice receipt takes place before goods receipt u2013 100 pc @ Rs.4.00 pc
    3) System does internal stock coverage check. As per SAP document, the stock shortage is 50 pieces.
    4) So the price difference arise i.e.Rs.100 (How this amount is arrived at? u2013 Not understood)
    5) The price difference of Rs.100 is only partially debited to the material (Rs.50). The rest is posted to price difference account (Rs.50)
    The accounting entry u2013
    GRIR A/c Dr                      300
    Inventory A/c Dr.                 50
    Price Diff. A/c Dr.                50
    To Vendor A/c                   400
    Question u2013
    -     I have not understood how Rs.100 is calculated & on what Moving average price the calculation takes place.
    -     As per the calculation in the document, the moving average price of the opening stock is Rs.2.50.the stock is 50  units. (50*2.50=125)
    -     The Invoice receipt happens at 100 pcs @ Rs.4.00 (100*4=400)
    -     So the new moving average price will be Rs.3.50 (Rs.125 + {100*4=400})=Rs.525. Rs.525/(100+50)pcs = Rs.3.50
    -     So how the price difference & posting to Stock account is calculated in the accounting entry?

    Logic of price difference  posting
    you missed one aspect of this and that is PO qty and PO price.
    GR/IR will get debit at IR Qty * PO Price.
    rest all calculations are in the link provided..
    - So the new moving average price will be Rs.3.50 (Rs.125 + {100*4=400})=Rs.525. Rs.525/(100+50)pcs = Rs.3.50
    Moving avg. will be calculated on stock value / qty in stock. new MAP will be stock value = (125 +50) = 175 and stock qty = 50 units so MAP will be 175/50 = 3.5.
    Since, GRN has not been done yet stock value (100*4) will not be there..

    When user add a new AR Invoice or AP Invoice without creating prior to it
    Goods Receipt or Delivery document system always displays message: 'No
    Goods Receipt/Delivery has been posted. Continue?'. This message should
    be configurable as for users which don't use Delivery or Goods Receipt PO is useless. User should decide if he or she wants to display it or not. For most customers clicking on this message is a huge wasting of time as it displays at every sales or purchase operation.

    If you use Shipping notification then you have to create inbound delivery VL31n and do the PGR in inbound delivery  VL32N itself.
    Incase of scheduling agreement schedule lines you have to make sure the following
    1) Schedule line delivery date shoud be todays date or in the past
    2) Schedule must be released by using message type based on the type of schedule ( Normal, JIT or forecast)

  • Report with open Purchase orders and open Goods Receipt (without invoices)

    Dear All,
    We require a report in purchasing which will show:
    1. open purchase orders
    2. open goods receipts
    We do not want POs and GRs that have been created into invoices to be included in the report.
    At the moment we tried ME2N with RECHNUNG in selection parameters but it includes invoices. We have tried other selection parameters and reports but the results are not helpful.
    I have also checked SDN but there is no correct answer. Most of them specify the ME2N with RECHNUNG as a solution but this does not work for us.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Try ME2N, Select WE101....Also Select ALV
    go to next screen....Go to change layout
    Select to be deliverd(Qty) and Value, also to be invoice(Qty) & Value.

    To see the log of moving averae price updation, use report S_P00_07000139.
    Example :
    Stock quantity : 10No's.
    MAP : 100Rs.
    GR : 10No's@12Rs
    Now MAP will become 11Rs (220/20)

  • Outbound idoc when good receipt is performed

    I've been trying to create an outbound idoc as good receipt is performed in 46c.  I've looked into MBGMCR and STPPOD message types and they don't work.  I did some configuration so that I could manually create an outbound file going into MB02 tcode.  Your expert instructions to creating an outbound idoc when good receipt is done is greatly appreciated.

    I've looked into WMMBID02 IDOC with Message type WMMBXY, and looked further into idoc documentation.  It is used for inbound GR transactions.  Below is what I intent to do.  We issue a PO to vendor via edi, vendor ships goods to us, and using MIGO, goods receipt transaction is performed.  What I intent to do is to create an outbound idoc when MIGO is performed, so that I can let the vendor know that we received the goods.

    I checked  both of these transaction  we need to select 3 option Characetrstics frm configuration(prio) and classification. I will check that, I had one more question
    In PO VC configuration is called for class type-300  and  in GRN VC configuration  is called for class type -023. How it will fetch the variant class configuration to Batch class configuration?
    Once we had faced some issues the copy from PO to GRN was happening for some batches & some batches it was not happening.
    yes we have activated Mill Functions in our ERP box.

    Source of list - ALV
    Selection parameter - WE101
    As per your requirement Assign Plant and Compnay code.
    Just execute.

    I've a PO created last year. The PO currency has been entered wrongly.
    My store colleague has been performed good received and consumed it.
    Now, I am not able to change PO currency to correct one, due to this message:-
    Currency can no longer be changed
    Message no. 06489
    Diagnosis
    As a basic rule, the currency cannot be changed if there has already been a goods receipt against a document.
    If the document contains external service and/or limit items, or if an invoicing plan has been assigned to an item, the currency cannot be changed following the receipt of an invoice either.
    If external service items exist, the currency also cannot be changed if services that have actually been performed have already been recorded or if the item in question has been assigned to a preventive maintenance (servicing) plan.
    Is there anyway to change PO currency after Good receipt and Good issue? Thanks !

    Answer in question itself,need to cancel all documents of wrong currency in order of LIFO,
    Create a new purchase order.

    My client is running SAP B1 8.81 PL 06.  They would like to automatically change the Last Purchase Price default in the Goods Receipt screen to Last Evaluated Price.  Has anyone done this?

    I agree with Bill.  This is something that should be able to be changed.  With SAP we chose to use landed costs to build our inventory values.  The current setting ignores any additional costs allocated to inventory when we do a goods receipt for inventory found in our warehouse.  A new layer is created at a value that is lower than the true value of the inventory.  A fact that was very detrimental during this years audit.  As it is currently set, we would have to do an inventory revaluation each time there is a goods receipt, such a practice is time consuming during the day to day and impractical during a year end physical inventory.
    Is there a way that this can be worked around so our system can match the last real value of our inventory?

  • Split/change line in Purchase Order after partial goods receipt

    I have a PO with multiple lines/items. For one line there has been a partial goods receipt and for the open qty there will be a delay. Do I have any chance to either:
    - Change the delivery date for this row to match the ETD of the open qty
    - Change the initial qty of the line to the one received (that the line closes) and open a new line with the correct date for the open qty
    I just cant change anything in a line for which a partial goods receipt has been posted.

    - adding the item on a new line with the open qty and the correct date
    - simply closing the partially posted line with the open qty (is that ok from the DB view?)

  • Goods-Receipt Block for Purchase Order depending on Goods-Receipt Date

    Hi,
    I want to set up the system so it can block the Goods-Receipt for Purchase Order respectively Scheduling Agreement if the Goods Receipt is about to take place 30 days or more before the Desired Delivery Date.
    For Example: If I have a Purchase Order with the desired delivery date 30.09.2008. I want to set up the system so, that it bans (forbids) the Goods Receipt before the 01.09.2008.
    If possible I would want to do that without additional programming. Is it possible to set up the system using only customising settings?

  • QA495 Error message during Good Receipt

    Dear Gurus,
    we would like to perform a good receipt with a custom movement (ZD1 as copy of 101) in order to do not activate QM inspection in certain cases. In OMJJ we flagged ZD1 as u201CQM not activeu201D but, since in the material master an Inspection type (with Lot Origin 01) is set, the following error during good receipt (MIGO) occur:
    "Change the inspection stock of material RAP4829AA_AG in QM only
    Error message QA495"
    The problem can be that, in the material document that we are trying to save, the stock type is automatically set to u201C2 - Quality Inspectionu201D. If we change it manually, leaving it blank (unrestricted use), the good receipt is correctly performed, otherwise the QA495 error message appear.
    The questions are:
    Is not enough deactivate u201CQM activeu201D flag in OMJJ for a specific movement type?
    Otherwise, how can we drive stock type (in MIGO) by the movement type?

    Correct, but this is done simply deactivating QM at mov type level in OMJJ (flag "QM not active")
    My requirement is also to perform good receipt putting stock automatically in unrestricted use, and not in QI
    The inspection lot is not generated (if I perform GR changing manually stock type to unrestricted), but I would like that it will be automatically done, and we cannot understand what drives this field (stock type), despite of I removed lot origin (and all other reference to 101 mov type) from ZD1 custom movement.
    I suppose is automatically inherits from PO, so the question is:
    How can I drive/set "stock type" to make it Blank (unrestricted use) in good receipt or in purchase order??

    then i create a purchase order for that material and then i input characteristic value in the Purchase Order transaction and save it
    However when i do the Goods Receipt transaction via MIGO and using the Purchase Order number that i have created, after i entry the batch number and want to check the classification, the characteristic value are blank, so it is not copied from the Purchase Order

    Is the Approval Decision report available to Logistic personnel?

    If the document is approved and u want to check the details of who approved the PO and when, you can make use of the Approval Decision Report, located in Administration --> Approval Procedure --> Approval Decision Report . Also there is another report to check with the status of the documents sent for approval which is Approval Status Report .
