Purchase efficiency and processing time in purchasing

Hi friends,
here purchase efficiency they want to find out, please suggest me any report and please do let me know use of  processing time in purchasing
Thanks and regards,
Balakrishna R.V

Processing time-
It is the time required by buyer to convert PR into PO.
You can maintain the Processing time on plant basis.
The processing time is taken into account during the scheduling process for externally procured materials within the framework of materials planning and control
for example- Planng time (to produce the material at vendor end)  + Processing time (time required by buyer) +GR processing (after receiving the material at plant) = the material available date ...Forward scheduling
in reverse scheduleing it will bve otherway round to calculate the date on which I should communicate the vendor so that my schedules are met.
You can see the details in SPRO > MM >Pur Req

    Hi markw14322597,
I've just checked your account: Your subscription order is still pending, which is why you're unable to log in and use your subscription just yet.
It can take 24-48 hours for an order to process, but once it does you'll be able to log in and convert files.

  • High roll wait time, gui time and processing time

    Hi all,
We are having a performance issue with the system at the moment. After running ST03N and STAD, we have determined that we are having abnormally high roll-wait, GUI and processing times.
Here are some results from STAD:
    CPU time: 2956ms
    Processing time: 4417ms
    Roll wait time: 1319ms
    GUI Time: 2859ms
Can someone direct me towards finding the problem?
If you need more information please let me know. I would post a screenshot if I was able to.
    Thanks,
    HL

    Hi,
Regarding Performance Of SAP system it will not be possible to Come to conclusion with the one Single data.
GUI time is basically the time spent in front end i.e Your Network load or such time
Coming to CPU time Can you see ST06 what is the CPU Utilization of your system?
Roll Wait time is the time Spent in buffer if you can share us the OS and Memory configuration.
We can Try to tune the Roll memory ( extended memory tuning) so that we can try to reduce the Roll time.
If possible try to find the Top Dialog Response Time Transaction Is it Standard or for Z Programs.

Go through this link you might get clear idea of performance.

    Hi there gmarr25,
It could be that your card information is entered incorrectly. You can use the information in the article below to verify that.

  • Purchase group Processing Time - Types,

    Hi All,
I am looking into the different time taken for the purchase department to process their acitvities.
I could list a few times lke
    1)  PurchasING  processing time ( T code - OMDT)
    2)  Pur Req to PO Conversion time (path  : SPRO-IMG-MM-PURCHASING-PUR REQ-PROCESSING TIME)
Similarly I want your help in identifying if any more such times exists for Purchase dept in SAP.
    Thanks,
    Vengal Rao.

You have considered both the processing time defined for Purchasing. I believe there is no other processing time defined exclusively for Purchasing in SAP.

  • HT1904 Some one got into my account and purchased 12.99 worth of stuff I changed my password and someone hacked it again and this time they pureschad what do I need to do cause I can't find a number for itunes

Someone hacked into my account and baught 12.99 worth of stuff I need to know what to do cause I changed password once and twice and they figured it out somehow when my wife and I were the only ones who knew new password

First, go to your purchase history and confirm that the purchases were actually made via your iTunes Store account. Many such charges are fraudulently submitted directly to your bank and did not actually come from the iTunes Store. If the purchases do appear in your purchase history, then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. And try to create passwords that aren't easily guessed. Including random special characters (!, @, #, etc) in a password can help, as can using capital letters or numerals.

  • Processing time

    Hi guys,
my question is this: I should to use the Processing time(WRPL-BZTEK) defined in customizing (SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition>Processing Time) in according to material type and not to side/division as such is now.
My purpose is to enlarge the processing time purchasing (or the planned delivery time) to modify the delivery date scheduled by MRP.
Is there a user-exit\Badi to implement this?Is necessary to modify the standard and if this is the one way how and where can I act?
    Thanks in advance to all,bye

    Hello, Riva
    Processing Time: (configuration setup)
Here, you define the plant-specific purchasing department processing time.
And the processing time is the time required by the buyer to convert a requisition into a purchase order. And the processing time is taken into account during the scheduling process for externally procured materials within the framework of materials planning and control.
    Actions
    Suggestion:
Maintain the purchasing department processing time for each plant.
Processing time required by purchasing department.
-> Time that the purchasing department requires to convert a purchase requisition into a purchase order.
The usage of this configuration setup is
-> The purchasing department processing time is included in the computation of the delivery date.
Table Name: WRPL (i.e, for Replenishment: quantities per customer/material)
Field Name: SRP_BZTEK (i.e, for Processing time required by purchasing department)
Data element: BZTEK (i.e, data element for processing time for purchase department)
If you want to change the length of the field BZTEK (allowable characters is 2), you can do it, by modifying the TWO TABLES (i.e, T399D (Control parameters for MRP &
WRPL (Replenishment: quantities per customer/material)) using the Acess key (from SAP)
Importent Note: Before you modify it, you need to check with the PP &MM (since this requirement belongs to both modules)
Suggestion: As per my knowledge this (processing time for PR) configuration setup is for the plant (or plants).
    Hope this will clarifies you,
    Reward, if it helps,
    Regards,
    Srin.K

  • Sub contracting and production time

    Hello Experts,
My problem is related to sub contracting and how to reflect the time the subcontractor needs to produce the goods.
    My system works as follows.
I create a subcontacting for material A. This material has delivery time 5 days. I supply the subcontractor vendor with material B. This material has also delivery time 5 days.
So, when I set the delivery date to ie 02.02.09 for component A, I get the requirements date for component B to 10 days less than my requirements date.
This means that I need to have B in my stock 10 days before I get A into stock. I guess that this is caluclated using A and B's delivery time and in this case, the five days i meant to reflect the number of days from me to the vendor.
This does not reflect my needs.
I also need to be able to reflect the production time at the vendor. This is the number of days between he receive B and when he can ship A. As this works now, the vendor is given no time to manifacture A out of B.
Second, the time it takes to ship B will be very different denpendent on which vendor who will receive it.
Any ideas how this is done?

    Hi,
Please define the Total replenishment lead time (in workdays) according to your requirement.
There is no point in maintaining the Total replenishment lead time field (in MRP 3 view of material master) for materials procured externally.
In external procurement, the system adds the processing time from purchasing (maintained in SPRO> Materials Management> Consumption Based Planning> Plant Parameters> Carryout overall maintanance of Plant Parameters-->Maintain --> External Procurement), the planned delivery time, and the goods receipt processing time ( both in the MRP 2 view of material master data or in Vendor master data) and uses this total as the replenishment lead time for an availability check with replenishment lead time.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Narayana.

  • Need SCA components instance-wise statistics (processing time etc.)?

    Hi,
Is there any way to gather information (processing time, start time, end time etc.) on individual sca component instances by accessing weblogic MBean through java API?
Please note that, Oracle WebLogic System MBean Browser provides avg processing time, max time and min time for all instances, but we need individual instance processing time.
However, we can manipulate OFM Infrastructure Management Java API to get those information from SOA Infra DB, but instead of doing that, can we get the same using mbean api? It will help in minimizing coding effort.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Thierry,
In Stad if we see Processing time is much higher than the CPU time,
there may be some lost time.
You can confirm this lost time as follows:
Perform ST05 or ST12 trace for any particular transaction and you can
see the Detialed trace list. Search for the particular time stamp
for which STAD has been opened in the detailed trace list.
Difference between the two consecutive time stamps should be equal to the
value in the duration column. If this is not equal, means some lost time
    is there.
Inorder to find where this lost time has occured, go to the transaction
SQLR and for the same time and date( which you entered in STAD). If you click on the
Summary tab, then you can see the SQL Trace Records with Longest Non-Database Times (Gaps).
You can tune the programs listed in this table.
Note: STAD and SQLR data won't be available for more that 24 hours, so better have the data copied in HTML format.
There may be some kernel bug also for this difference in the CPU and processing time. But as per your message, other application servers are fine.
If you need any help kindly attach trace files and stad record files to this message so that will try to figure out the exact problem.
Please dont forget to check the kernel level of your system before performing the ST05 trace.
For 700 release minimum patch level should be 145
For 640 release minimum patch level should be 193.
If your system kernel patch is not updated, kindly update it and do the trace to avoid system crash.
    Hope this helps.
    Please feel free to contact.

    Kiran

  • Frustrated by Paypal's Inconsistent Withdrawal Processing Times

Paypal has been so inconsistent. I withdrew money to my bank account 2 days ago. (June 29th).. It has now been 2 days and the withdrawal is still pending and not completed. There was a time (for about maybe 3 months) my withdrawals completed within an hour or two.. Almost instantly.
But prior to that my withdrawals would always take 24 hours to complete. Which I dealt with because at least the money always made it to my bank account by 2 business days (48 hours) Now this recent withdrawal I made taking more than 48 hours to complete. (2;58PM EST hit the 48 hour mark) I don't know why the inconsistency. I like Paypal alot but I am soon going to have to use a different payment processor that has more consistent withdrawal and processing times because I don't know when I will get my money once I withdraw it.
Why does it take so long for withdrawals to take place? The 4th of July holiday weekend is approaching and I need my money from Paypal. I really think this withdrawal is going to drag out and with the 4th of July weekend, I won't see a deposit until next week sometime. This doesn't make sense. It's like hit or miss when it comes to withdrawal times. I am so frustrated with Paypal. :/

  • Unnecessary Purchasing Processing Time in scheduling agreement

According to its business logic, the scheduling agreement is a document  that has  already been  released  by purchasing department,  and  its scheduling lines, that have been created by MRP  are valid for goods receipt without any need for additional purchasing  processing time. However, MRP scheduling incorrectly takes purchasing processing time into account (as defined in the IMG in plant parameters for external procurement - TCODE  OPPQ) when calculating planned availability date. Please advise how to correct this issue.
    Best Regards,
    Itzik Eshed

    This can be customized in
    SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
    -> Production
    --> Material Requirements Planning
    ---> Planning
    > Procurement Proposals
    > Define External Procurement
Here you can select the indicator "Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement" either at plant or MRP group level.

  • Purchase requisition - no GR processing time

    Hi,
when you create a purchase requisition in transaction ME21n the goods receiving processing time is considered (from the material master MM02).
In some cases (e.g. Third-Party) we want that this GR processing time is ignored.
Is there a possibility in the standard to set up this functionality?
Or must we implement coding in an userexit or BAdi?
    Thanks for your help.

    SB,
Purchase requisitions are not normally created in ME21.  For manual creation, you would normally use ME51, or ME51N for the Enjoy version.
As far as I know, goods receipt processing time is specific to the Material/plant.  It is irrelevant to the source of the supply proposals.
Keep in mind that purchase requisitions are often created by MRP. Your ME51 mod will most probably have no effect on these PRs.   During MRP, at the time when the PR is being created, the completion date has already been determined, but the source has not yet been determined.  In addition, not all purchase reqs are sourced.  Your programmers will have an interesting task ahead of them if you want to make MRP, during PR creation, to consider GRPT on selected PRs, based on source of the PR.  Good luck!
Normally, if you wish to have sourced PRs act differently, depending on the source, you enter planned delivery time in the Purchase Info Record, and then configure your PRs to use Purchase Info record data rather than Material Master data.  This will not alter the finish date as GRPT will, but in some cases it gives you enough functionality to meet your business requirements.
