Purchase History Report a Problem feature

I was looking at my purchases and clicked the Report a Problem button, but the only thing that happened was that the button disappeared.  Odd.  Were they just joking? . . . "Ha-ha-ha, did you believe that? Just messin' with you. Bye-bye little button."
Well, ok, they must be serious, but the button just disappeared when I clicked on it, no joke.

I'm a novice to this community discussion board so bear with me.  I have reported problems with apps in the past and done the steps I have done above and it came up with a drop down list of selected problems you simply chose one and sent it.  This time round though I seem to have been redirected to the Apple Support screen which is a screen with multiple tutitorials, ranging from getting started in itunes, how to load apps etc, different devices I can't seem to figure out how to just report a problem.  I then choose app (which seems to be the closest choice) and I just seem to go in circles.  It's not itunes that is the problem it is the developers of the app as many others have the same problem with the app crashing my next best thing is to wait for an update for the developer to fix the bugs.  Which I hope they read the reviews left by consumers.  Thanks for your reponse though.

You can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department at no charge using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your problem to them.

What time zone is iTunes purchase history reported in?

I also have this question. What time zone is iTunes purhase history reported in?

  • How to refund purchases, or report a problem on previous purchases?

with the old iTunes you could report a problem with specific purchases. however, i can not find anything that represents doing so in the new iTunes.

You should be able to do it via your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find the item that you have a problem with and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem.

  • Purchase History, Deauthorization, Backup Problems??

I've got issues!! My laptop and (2) iPods were stolen - my insurance will re-imburse me for the cost of the purchased music however I need to provide them with documentation of said music...is there anyway to print my purchase history? I also need to deauthorize the laptop but I no longer have it - is there a way to do that without deauthorizing all the other authorized computers? I have tried on more than one occassion to back up my itunes library with DVD/CD discs and the task is never completed - it starts but when I put the 2nd disc in - it stops working. What am I doing wrong?

    This might help.
On a computer, authorize that computer with you're Apple ID and password.
Then, go to Store on the top and "View account" - Re-enter Apple ID and Password.
Then, Click on Purchase History ( you might have more then one page, I can't figure out how to copy this, but you can acomplish it by doing "Print Screen" for every page of purchases.
Once you have this figured out, Deauthorize the computer. As for the deauthorization of the laptop, contact iTunes Store Customer Service here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/authorization/
Email them explaining everything and request that they de-authorize all your computers and bring you back to zero.
Sorry for your loss, hope this helps you out.

  • I got hacked and the 'Report a Problem' isn't working. Who can I contact about the purchase I didn't make?

There is a purchase on my iTunes account made yesterday. I DID NOT make this purchase, but the 'Report a Problem' feature is not working. I am following the directions from the Help section accurately. When I logged in though, it said I needed to change my password because of suspicious activity. Who can I contact?

    Hello,
I woke up today around 9:30 am UK Time, checked my emails on my phone and then started playing "Talking Ginger" kids game because of one of the offers, around 10:00 I noticed an email alert on top of my iphone screen about itunes receipt.
When I opened this, it was about "Kids Song Collection" purchase reciept for £1:49.
I was shocked because first of all my 3 years old daughter is sleeping, secondly I have security settings configured in iphone with a complex password to purchase and she does not know that password and thirdly I am using the phone and I know I didn't even open App Store or that app so how come this has happened.  I did a search on google about how to report and tried to follow the process through itunes but every time I click on "report a problem in itunes" this opens a new apple page in firefox "http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/"
Whilst further browsing Purchase History in itunes I also noticed another purchase from yesterday about "FireWorks Arcade" and this was unbelieveable because I didn't even receive any receipt yesterday about that purchase and again I am the only one who can make purchases due to the complex password known only to myself.
I am not sure what is going on here, but clearly as per today's incident it seems that apple is loosing their control.
Please advise what can be done here.

  • Unable to 'report a problem' with iTunes purchase

    Hi all.
I have a Season Pass for Castle, Season 1 in the UK store. They have, as usual, been releasing the episodes for download approx 24 hours after transmission (yes, US readers we're THAT far behind you in being able to get this programme.). However, last week Channel 5 broadcast the final 2 episodes of season 1 back to back on the same night. Only one episode, episode 9, appeared in iTunes.
I thought I would use the 'report a problem' feature to ask if they're actually going to put the last one up to download, or if it's been forgotten. However, clicking the 'report a problem' link in My Account on any episode of Castle just opens the default Apple support webpage in Safari. If I use the link on any other purchase then I get the correct "Problem: Choose One" drop down within iTunes.
So, how can I ask a question of iTunes support about the currently missing episode if I can't use the "report a problem" link?

Doh. Didn't expect it to be that simple. I don't know why but I had it my head that they don't deal with iTunes store queries except via the in app reporting method.

  • Billing purchase history

When I click on a movie to rent on my apple tv it instructs me  that there is a billing problem with a previous purchase.  Go to the iTunes store on your computer and click purchase history to resolve problem.   I recently changed my billing card.      I have nothing in my purchase history.   But I'm not sure it is showing rented movies because I rent a lot.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Your purchase history includes rentals, if yours doesn't it might be because it's a different account to the one you are using for making rentals.

My credit card  has been charged for book, however my purchase history shows no record of the transaction and I have not received the book. The online problem reporting system does not have options to report this incident. Who can I call?

Would be problems with purchases, billing, and redemption option.  It's not 100% exact to your issue, but it will get you to the right department.
Go here https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.do then select ITunes, then Store, then Purchases, Billing, and Redemption.  Then.. probably pick "My topic is not listed."

Do they appear in the iTunes Store > Purchased section? (Use the search tool.) If so delete from iTunes, close iTunes and restart, then download from iTunes Store > Purchased > Not on this computer.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.

  • HT1933 I don't see the problem menu I just keep getting this article link when I click "report a problem" next to the offending item in itunes purchase history. What gives?!

When I try to report a problem on one of my purchase videos, I keep getting this link: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/#video_purchases
The article says I should see problem menu from which to choose my specific issue, but that is not happening.
I'm stuck in a loop of bad service, what's up?

You're right that the documentation says "for best results select the entire eye, not just the pupil". And then it goes on to talk about pupil size. The point I'm making is (1) you don't get "better" results ... you get an error if you just select the pupil; and (2) software systems that are smart enough to detect a user error and simply "beep" and "beep" could and should in fact be smart enough to offer some sort of unobtrusive help message. The red-eye tool worked fine, I'm commenting on Adobe's not-very-useful error beep. I read the instructions several times, but I missed the point. When I used the tool, the default (?) shape of the tool was, well circular ... like a pupil. It seemed very natural to orient this circle with the pupil of the eye. Not a big deal...just a suggestion for a human factors improvement.

  • Trying to 'report a problem' in iTunes to refund a £69.99 in-app purchase by my younger brother. NOT WORKING!

My younger brother accidently purchased an in-app item worth £69.99. I desperately need to refund this as it will be removed from my bank and I need the money to stay.
When in iTunes I check my purchase history and try to 'report a problem' it simply opens the apple support site and does nothing! I've tried calling Apple but the stupid Auto-bot didn't understand what I'm trying to do and then expected me to stay on the line for up to 10 minutes to get in touch! Not a chance. I'm incredibly dissapointed. What can i do?
    Thanks.
