Purchase LR 4.0 for Trial of LR 4.1

I am using the trial version of Lightroom 4.1.
I will soon be purchasing the full version 4.0 from Amazon, as it is cheaper than Adobe.
I will get a box from Amazon that I assume will contain LR 4.0.
Will I be able to just enter that 4.0 license key into my trial LR 4.1 or do I need to purchase 4.1 from Adobe?

The LR4 serial number is valid for all 4.x versions.
Just enter the serial number from your boxed LR4 version from Amazon into your Trial of 4.1 and you're good to go.
I suggest you take a minute to also register the software online with Adobe (it's part of the procedure when you insert your serial number) for future reference so that Adobe will know that you have purchased LR4 and you can retrieve the serial number in future.

Hi, This must be quite a common problem. A purchase is defined as something one acquires by paying.
The app store gives you access to download free items or download items for trial. Most are rubbish.
Because the ipad doesn't support multiple login accounts everyone uses one apple account to download the apps.
Over the months i have tens of apps that have been downloaded and deleted. they still appear in my account as 'purchases'.
How do i delete items that have been deleted and not been paid for?

I don't think you can, Peter.
Apple regard a download from the App Store as a purchase. You can hide it and ignore it, but not cancel it.
I am not so sure about the system if you're talking about apps previously downloaded 'privately' that are later subject to Apple updates.

How much to purchase serial number for trial version of Premier Elements 11?

A trial versin of Adobe Premeir Elements 11 came with my Photoshop Elements 11. How much for a serial number, and what page can I go to get one?

Good question. Here is my take on this.
Adobe is not selling Premiere Elements 11 anymore. It is now selling its current version Premiere Elements 12. And, its free tryout download from Adobe is for Premiere Elements 12. And, no problem purchasing a serial number for version 12 from them.
There should be no problem in trying out the Premiere Elements 11 as per the installation disc that came with the Photoshop Elements 11 purchase. But, when it comes to purchase of Premiere Elements 11, the only scenario that I am seeing is
Find an authorized reseller who still has Premiere Elements 11 stock. Purchase that product. And, then you have 2 choices
a. insert the serial number that comes with the purchased Premiere Elements 11 into the tryout already installed on your computer
or
b. uninstall the tryout, install your purchased Premiere Elements 11 with the serial number that comes with it.
A typical place that might have a Premiere Elements 11 in stock is Amazon. Have you looked there?
You could contact Adobe for input on the matter, but I suspect that you will get steered to purchasing Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12.

So is it just me, or is Mavericks a bust? My MBP runs way hotter now. I don't have time for trial and error solutions. Is Apple offering a way to downgrade back to Mountain lion? I want out of Mavericks ASAP.

So is it just me, or is Mavericks a bust? My MBP runs much hotter since the upgrade. Why do I need ot sit around watching Activity Monitor, manually controlling my fans, and deleting extensions that I enjoy using. Don't even get me started on the Quicktime/Mov issues. I had none of these issues on Mountian Lion. Searching these forums, I see it's not just me. Why would Apple release a new system w/o peoperly testing it on MBPs?

Nobody owns a ML install disc - ML was only ever distributed as a download from the Mac App Store.
If you have a Time Machine backup, you can boot into recovery mode and restore from your Moutain Lion TM backup volume. If you have a system clone, then you can boot from the clone, and just clone ML back onto your internal drive.
Going back to your previous installation from a backup should be trivially simply if you have the backup in hand.

At this - THIS point I was "told" I needed the 64 bit version (I have a 64 bit Lenovo T431s laptop). My patience wearing thin... I returned to the Adobe site from which I had done everything to this point. NOTHING with regard to a choice of 32 or 64 bit! Looked closely at the info that came with the download card... again, nothing regarding 32 or 64 bit option. Outlined this matter to Identit-e customer service... they said I need to contact Adobe. Adobe site does not make it easy to do that. Anyone have a solution and/or a suggestion?

If the amount of the purchase is close to $21.07, then you need to take into account taxes may be added.
If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account.
