Purchase of Assets during the Period

Hi Experts,
Recently I am facing a typical problem.I am new in SAP.
We had purchased one asset in the month of April amounting to Rs.65,000/- dated 23.04.2009.When we run AFAB for the month of April-2009 we noticed that system is calculating depreciation on the said asset for the full month not for 8days(i.e 23.04.2009 to 30.04.2009).
Anybody, please throw some light in this case.I am open to change the customisation.

Hi,
the depreciation is calcualted according to your period control from the depreciation key. If you use pro rata - what I assume here - then it is absolutely correct that the whole period is considered; this is what pro rata stands for.
If you need daily depreciaiton, then check the documentation, there is also a solution to that.

If this is indeed not the case and you have indeed not purchased anything from us, yet have been charged 239 DKK, there's obviously a big issue.
However, we're not in charge of the money handled in purchases, as Apple has chosen to be the only one controlling this.
As such you'll have to contact Apples support to get help with refunds.

The Zombie Farms game is free but "in App" purchases during game play are not. You are being charged for the purchase of "50 brains" not for the game itself.

No data in IT0007 during the period 05.05.2010 - 31.05.2010

When i am running PY simulation for a particular employee who has joined as trainee a year before and was confirmed on 05.05.2011 I am getting error in log saying No data in IT0007 during the period 05.05.2010 to 31.05.2010. Pls brief me to overcome this issue ASAP.

check the start date of the records, check if there is data for the mentioned period in the error?
if not maintain it .

I don't know a standard report (SE95 does not seem to include selection by date), maybe you can tweak SE16 display of table SMODILOG for your purpose.

Are you talking about PO's created in a year. You can pull this report through tcode ME2L,me2M,
If you are talking about GR's taking place in a year, pull the report through tcode MB51, with movement type 101.

Assignment of the asset during the equipment creation

Hello everyone,
I am currently working on the PM-AA interface which consists in linking the asset field (ITOB-ANLNR) of an equipment with the asset number given in the purchase order. The goods receipt (MIGO) creates automatically an equipment (thanks to the serial number profile of the materiel).
As the purchase order contains the asset, I expected that the system would put this value in the corresponding field of the equipment.
In the customizing, we have made the following changes :
- equipment is modified synchronously with tha asset modification
- the assignment of master data fields of assets and equipment includes the asset fields itself
- the serial number profile is assigned to the material and allow the creation of the equipment during the goods receipt.
Has someone already experienced this case? What do I have to do to have the asset number saved in the equipment during its creation?

Thanks for you answer.
I've already checked these customizing aspects but tjey are not saisfying enough : my customer wants the equipment to be created at the goods receipts in order to save the serial number registered during the reception.
Furthermore, I'm not sure of the process if I create the equipment formerly : will it take into account the material and serial number that are given during the reception of the goods? And how does the system react with more than one equipment?

The Inspector offers choices of format for negative numbers when you choose Number of Currency as the format for a cell. Also offered when the format is set to Automatic, IF the selected cell(s) contain number(s).
The choices are in the pop-up menu beside the box for number of decimal places.

Deleted archive files during the datafile offline period

Dear Gurus
I want to report a mishap that happened in one of our system.
I made one of the data files x01.dbf offline(the only datafile for that tablespace say X )
Now unfortunately i deleted the archives during the period the datafile was offline ..
Now it is not letting me do any operation like any ddl operation ..
How can I restore the database back to normal .

About your problem, if this does not work, you have only one possibility: drop it. If the drop fails you'll have to bounce the database in order to do that.
If you have to "recover" from the tablespace loss, you'll have to do some TSPITR (Tablespace Point In Time Recovery).

Problem with Cross Dissolve: The video cuts out during the transistion

I'm encountering a problem with the Cross Dissolve transistion wherein during the period in which the transition should be happening the video instead drops out. There's plenty of heads and tails available on both clips, but as soon as the timeline hits the start of the transition "from' clip cuts out, revealing the background or black if there's no background underneath and then the "go-to" clip cuts in at the end of the transition.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've been having this issue and it's driving me crazy. It's random, that some cross dissolves work, and others don't. Seems to affect AVCHD footage. Adobe seems to be aware of the issue.
The work around that I've seen posted by a forum user "Mitch W" is to apply a GPU accelerated effect to one of the clips in the pair. The effect can be turned to "0" so as not to alter the video. The act of doing this, makes premiere see the clip differently, and render the cross dissolve correctly.
Fast Blur, set to "zero", seems to do the trick, and allows it to work with CUDA acceleration turned on. I did notice that the work around was broken by changing the playback resolution in the viewer window. In that situation, I had to apply the GPU effect to the other clip in the pair to make it work again.
I don't know what will happen if I change my playback resolution again...

Skipped Job during Blackout period

We have been playing around with the scheduling of job thru OEM and have a question. During the periods we designate as "Blackout", we are getting EMails telling us that any job that would have run during the blackout period was SKIPPED. This isn't really a problem as this is what we would expect to see. But how do we keep from getting those "skipped" EMails from appearing in our inbox. I'm hoping there is a global parameter that can be set as oppsed to setting up special notification windows thru OEM.

We asked for the SKIPPED to be removed from the PROBLEM jobs and Oracle said they're working on it for 10.2.0.6. We must not have been the only ones who wanted this "feature" fixed :-)

In Grid Control, I want to receive emails for jobs that had PROBLEMS, not SKIPPED. We have a requirement to backup our archivelogs every 7 minutes so we can recover with 10 minutes of any outage. Sometimes the jobs runs longer than normal so the next job is skipped. This isn't a problem, it's just a skip. if the job fails or
errors then that is a problem. How do we seperate SKIPPED from PROBLEMS under the "E-Mail Notification for Owner" owners on a job creation. We need more
granularity in these emails.

1) I am facing one problem that one of my asset 123 I Capitalized on 13.09.2006 have deactivated on
14.05.2008. with value of Rs.1.00.000/- all the activities are closed down related it on deactivation date.
In 2009 a new asset 456 purchased with different value. But in T.code OARP in column cumulative acquisition
value it is showing value of Asset 123 instead of it's own capitalization value.
2 ) And about my Asset 123 it is also showing a Cumulative Acquisition value in year 2009 which it
should not display because I have already deactivated that asset. ( The same checked in AR03 )
