Im creating transcation through TS01 (for Purchase of Bonds). And m putting the amount in the required field. While saving system is giving me error that "security price is not entered" Kindly suggest where I have to put security price. as there is no column for same.

BOND purchase : accrued interest calculation in amortization log

hello,
When purchasing a bond, accrued interest is to be paid on top of the clean price.
Common market practice for day counting of accrued interest is : value date of the purchase - previous coupon date, meaning that the purchaser paid to the seller the coupon days upto but not including the purchase day (seems obvious). Hence, in the transaction in SAP we DE- flag "include" for the calculation date => we are in line with the broker's confirmation.
We use SAC amortization (with correction for accrued interest). In the amortization log, we notice that the accrued interest SAP takes on the acquisition date INCLUDES the coupon day of the acquisition date (contrary to what is in the transaction details) , which influences the effective interest rate, which obviously is on its turn not in line with the effective interest rate in the deal (which is the right one, taking into account the correct accrued interest pad to the seller).
NOTE 1252576 is implemented.
Questions.
1. How can I influence (via custo or master data ) the accrued interest calculation as displaid in the amortization log
2. Are any settings in FWZZ I should double-check ?

Hello Carl,
accrued interest adjustment in amortization procedure is used to leverage the effect of interest coupon payments, so it calculates in the same way as interest accruals in TPM44. This is not the same as accrued interest in TS01.
In TS01 you can define it with the flag, how accrued interest is calculated, but TPM1 calculates always inclusive.
Otherwise it may lead to inconsistencies. For example, if you would have two purchases of the same ID and in one deal you set the flag, but in the other not, so which deal should TPM1 consider?
Still, with the note 1602748 a BAdI method is provided to manipulate the accrued interest adjustment amount.
Though at the end, why do you need to amortize with accrued interest adjustment? This is not required by IFRS.

Won't login to treasury direct

Over the past two years I have used treasurydirect.gov to purchase savings bonds. Last week, for the first time, I couldn't log into my account. This drop down message appeared: Safari can’t open the page “https://www.treasurydirect.gov/RS/BPDLogin?application=rs” because it couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server “www.treasurydirect.gov”. I'm running safari 10.3.9
I tried on my son's computer and received an unknown error message 10054. He is running 10.4

Close dates profile

I'm trying to use custom.pll to override a value populated on the standard sale form.
When a user selects a Sale stage I want to overide the default close date profile for one of these entries in the LOV.
I can see that the block status has changed but when I check for the Sales tabpage and block_status = Changed these do not fire until I click into a field which does not have a LOV attached (total amount). Any Ideas?

My doubt is you are saying 'On the 31/01/2010 these two positions should contribute to the coupons due', but when you bought the bond the coupon was not delivered so how will it contribute to the interest on 31/01. So effectively only the repo will contribute to the coupon interest and the bond will not contribute to the interest due on 31/01 because the next coupon was not delivered with bond purchase.
Please correct me wrong if the below case is what is your requirement
Book close date is 21/01, coupon payment date is 31/01.
Last coupon payment was on 31/07.
You purchase a bond on 19/01. This should contribute to the coupon payment on 31/01. Hence choose next coupon delivered so that you will pay accrued interest for the period from 01/08 till your purchase date and this bond purchase will have a coupon payment on 31/01.
Next you purchase a bond on 22/01. This should not contribute to the coupon payment on 31/01. Hence choose next coupon not delivered so that you will receive the accrued interest for the next 10 days. Now there will be no impact on the interest due on 31/01 because of this purchase. But from next interest payment onwards you will have impact because of both the purchases.
If this is what is your requirement then you need not have a -10 calculation date at all. You can have normal calculation date and when you make purchase you can make the changes depending on the book close date.

After installing the latest color laser jet firmware from HP , I got error 79 and turn on and off my color laserjet 2605dn all the time even I followed the instructions and tried to fix this error 79.

Is there a real solution to this bad firmware? I'm a teacher and this printer was purchased with bond money to enable students to produce quality work. I was able to use it ONE time before it quit because of this firmware. Can someone please help the children (me too)?

No you won't be refunded, it's your responsibility to keep copies of your purchases. Have you not got copies of them on backups ?

Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order

We have a scenrio, transfer the material from debond plant to mfg plant after imported material in kept in Bonding area. STO po is raised to from imported plant to mfg plant with Imported duties as delivery costs.
Bill of entry is provided for all the materials as one. While capturing the excise amount at line item level is difficult so, captured at first line item level as total because material is Same (Material is Split valuated materials with 3 batches). First GR is done properly but next GR for 2nd and 3 rd line items are refered with earlier Bill of entry, system promprts the error message "Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order".
Please do the needful.

Please be informed that for one a GR document wrt PO only one excise invoice can exist.
Ex PO-4500000010
GR no 5000000010
only one excise can exist and if the same excise invoice is reffered to another GR with the same PO system will throw an error message. Please let me know the exact business requirement in detail.

How to get back purchased music when computers are no longer available...

We were hit by lightning, again, and lost my wife's Bondi iMac. Those of you who know them realize that they didn't come with CD burners...so we didn't back up her music purchases. In addition, I recently lost my job. The music I purchased on my work computer was purged while I was getting my pink slip. So, I was unable to back it up as well.
So, we have a handful of songs that we purchased on other computers that are no longer available to us. I emailed Apple a couple weeks ago and have not received any answer on how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

I am afraid Apple has a download once policy, but you have done the right thing contacting them as I understand they they will occasionally make an exception in special circumstances and allow another download.

Can Apple TV 2 stream purchased videos / home movies converted to MP4 and in my iTunes library?

Okay, so we currently own a 1st Gen ATV and love it, however 99% of it's use is streaming purchased content and/or home movies etc. that I've used visualhub/handbrake to convert and imported into my iTunes library. All in all, once I gave up and surrendered my video content to iTunes and started streaming to my 1st Gen ATV I've grown hooked, I love sorting stuff however I want (I have about 250 movies, entire seasons of X-Files etc. that I've ripped from my own (LEGAL) media and put in iTunes, so when it's sorted properly it's very clean, when it's all alpha, it's a nightmare.
I've tried a few media servers for the PS3, however they just pile all the movies into one big alpha sorted mess, music isn't sorted by genre, no genius, TV shows are not tagged by watched, won't resume properly etc. Boxee / XBMC are a little better, but then again I run those on my ATV as well, and still Boxee doesn't really seem to sort stuff quite as well or play playlists properly.
We're getting another TV for our den and have been looking into other media streaming options, what I love about the Apple TV is the way I can sort all our movies, shows etc. by genre, so the kids can just go to the stuff I've tagged as Kids Movies or I can make video playlists for them and mix up some Planet Earth and Dora the Explorer for our babysitter and movies /shows are tagged as watched/unwatched, if you stop one it will ask if you want to resume, etc.
Looking into the ATV2 it seems like it's just geared for rentals, If that's the case I really am not interested. I like the Netflix option, but then again most newer internet connected TVs do that as well as my PS3, not sure how viable an option the WD TV Live plus or Boxee box is, I'd like to get some newer hardware, but I'm just not sure what route to go.
Does the ATV2 stream media in iTunes TV Shows/Podcasts/Movies folders? It doesn't sync right? So it it all Airplay now?
Is my best bet just to get another 1st Gen? Are there any other media servers that are able to sort stuff by played/genre/etc.
Ug, I'm at a loss! I really love the features of my old Apple TV, and would love to get a new one, but I'm just not sure if it will do everything I'm used to, or if any of the other standalone boxes are better options?
I know this is a bit of a ramble, hopefully someone can make enough sense out of where I'm going and help me out! Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The Apple TV 2 will play all the content in your iTunes library that your Apple TV 1 does. It can no longer sync any of it but can stream it all just as the older model did. Airplay is a different feature that lets you stream from an iPad/iPhone, the Apple TV 2 has Airplay the first didn't.
You can still sort and search content by genre, it still marks content watched and unwatched and mainly still lets you organise much as the Apple TV 1 did, with one exception. It doesn't do nested folders, so the ability to tag a movie as a show (ie James Bond) and have all the associated movies in a James bond folder has gone and it lists all these movies individually.
It has a similar situation with TV shows. It will put all TV shows in a series in a folder as the older one did, but the new one lists each series separately whereas the older model would put all the series in one folder.
Not nesting folders is a bit of a pain with large libraries and whilst I don't like it, it's more or less the only compromise I have to make and of course I get additional features too.

Upgrade my Bondi Blue G3 to OS 9.?

The kids pulled out my old Bondi Blue G3. I have reinstalled all the original discs and so it is running on 8.5 (not 8.6....I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to upgrade now to 8.6...I'll take suggestions on this issue too, unable to find what I need at apple support). But....
Anyway, some of the kiddie software needs system 9.x So I was going to buy the OS 9 discs on ebay. There is a lot there to chose from. I am not sure exactly what discs I need. Can I just buy a copy of 9.2 and that will work? Anything special I need to know? Simply want to get to the highest 9.xx as possible at least cost.
Other details on this computer: 233 MHz, and 96 Mg RAM.

Also, I would purchase as much RAM as you can afford. OS 9.x uses up a lot of memory. In the meantime I would set Virtual Memory to 97mb.

Where ever you purchase OS 9.x from make sure you purchase a univeral full installer CD. Ask the vendors the color of the CD lable. All universal full install CDs are white w/an orange/golden 9.x on it.
You can purchase a OS 9.1 or OS 9.2.1 universal installer CD & then go to Apple's download site & download the OS 9.2.2 update. However, personally, I would just stay with OS 9.1 or OS 9.2.1. You really do not need OS 9.2.2 which is really a cosmetic OS for OS X.

Prior to doing any of the above I would run a 3rd party utility (DiskWarrior, Techtool Pro or Norton Utilities v5.03) to make sure the system is in tip top shape & then run the utility again after all the installations plus rebuild your desktop.
If you do not have any of the above mentioned utilities, then boot from your system install cd (the one that originally came w/your comp) while holding down the c key & run Disk First Aid from the Utilities folder. Have DFA repair any errors it finds.

I have a 1998 bondi blue iMac and I would like to put windows on it help

So about 7 years ago my school was selling all their 1998 bondi blue iMacs for 50 dollars each. We used it for a tiny bit and then we got a better computer. Anyway I don't have enough money to get a laptop and I just got a desk so I set it up in my room as my computer. It has Mac OS so it is pretty good in that sense but it has no hardware like inbuilt wifi just the option. Anyway I want it to be a bit better so I would like to run windows 7 and do some things to speed it up. Is there any way I can keep the programmes I already has on the mac because I already had word and things on the mac so I would like to bring them across. So can you please tell me how to put windows on and speed it up. Also now the fan makes a funny noise, I put the vacuum up to the vent to try and see if that fixed it but it still makes that noise and I am worried of a fire hazard, anybody have any ideas?

I recall that this model did NOT have a fan, so you may be hearing the precursor to its hard drive dying...
I purchased the SONY Supressa USB 1.0 CD-R external burner to use with this Mac.
It burned at 2X, but many times I burned at 1X to reduce the number of "coasters" that it produced!

Purchase info record for PO determine by Storage location

Dear Guru,
Can you please advice when during the creation of PO, is there possible to determine the Purchase info record by the Purchasing Org, material, Vendor as well as "Storage Location".
Reason,
Sometime we need to raise the PO those customer who will be exempted from the governamt VAT or duty which the goods has to delivery to the country Bonded warehouse.
I created 2 Storage location;
1.) 1000 for general WH
2.) 2000 for Bonded Wh
So i would like to know if we can create 2 different info record determine by Storage Location?

Bonded Warehouse Scenario

Hi All,
we are facing the following problem in the bonded warehouse scenario ;-
1.) We are raising the PO from the bonded warehouse plant to the foreign vendor
2.) After receiving the mateiral in the bonded warehouse, we are paying the foreign vendor , but not paying any duties to the custom offcie.
3.) Whenever the material is required , we are making the Stock transfer order and for this purpose we have created seperate pricing schema ,which includes all Import duty conditions.
4.) Then we are doing the MIRO against this Stock transfer order.
5.) Issue of the mateiral from the supplying plant by using the movement type : 351 in the transaction MB1B.
Now the issue is while issueing the material by using movement type 351, all the import conditions are going to the inventory
6.) After this capture and posting of the excise duty in the J1IEX without any reference of the Purchase order .
7.) and then doing the GRN by doing MIGO with the reference of the stock transfer order.
Please validate the above process and suggest the way out , how we can restrict the import duties(CVD,ECS on CVD and Shecess on CVD ) to get inventerise.

You can maintain Bonded W/H as an External Storage location of your company and in Customization, you can maintain diff address for this sto.location.
When you import and keep the material in Bonded W/H, you can receive the material in 103 M.Type as Non Valuated.
In this way any time you can track the material by quantity basis.
When you pay the actual duty and release the material from the Bonded W/H, you can release it by useing 105 M.type.That time only it should get valuated.

ACCOUNTING OF FREIGHT CHARGES ON IMPORT PURCHASES

For import purchases of material, I need to book C&F charges as a part of inventory cost. The problem here is I receive about six bills separately at various dates for the same quantity (one for bonding, de-bonding, transfer from port to customs bonded warehouse, transport to production plant).
What is the way to account the same?

For your reference. refer Standard Condition Type FS01 - Container/Wei/Dist & check how its scale is maintain.
