Purchase order based on Purchase requisition

Hello,
Can someone tell me how can create a Purchase Order based on Purchase Requisition in transaction ME21N. In ME21 it is all right but in ME21N where is the option?
                Best Regards
                         João Fernandes

Hello Joao,
When you open purchase order creation transaction (ME21N), you will find button "Document overview" click on that, it will open one column on the left side of the screen, click on colurful tree icon and it will display dropdown list from here select the Purchase requisition. This will take you to report for purchase requisiton so give your criteria and execute. You will get all open purchase requisition so just double click (or drag it to cart) on any purchase requisition it will copy in purchase order screen.
or simply, input the purchase requisition number at item level.
Hope this helps.

  • Work Order based Purchase Requisition

    Hello,
We currently create purchase requisitions from work orders in our SAP system today. The issue we face is can we add additional lines to these purchase requisitions without updating the work order.
We want to add the new line in the purchase requisition directly from transaction ME52N.

    Hi All,
I have a situation in which i have to populate values for the fields in the 'custom data' tab in Purchase Requisition. But here I am not creating Purchase Requisition, instead when a Work Order(Plant Maintenance related) is created, Purchase Requisition automatically gets created. So, i want an exit which relates Work order with Purchase Requistion so that i could populate values to the fields in the 'Custom data' tab when i save the Work Order.

  • How to Configure Multiple Purchase Requisitions per Service Order

    Hi experts!
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but I was wondering how I can configure multiple Purchase Requisitions to be created from a service or maintenance order (IW31) based on the control key (or if it's even possible).
What would be the pros and cons of doing this?  We currently only have one PR being created for one order (a 1-to-1 relationship), however now with implementing external services, we want 2 or more PRs created based on the control key.  Is the control key the best way to go, or should I be looking at a different deciding field?
    Thanks in advance!
    Stephanie

    Raj,
Thank you so much for the information.  That does help!  However business requirements are now changing to have different Purchase Requisitions created for a single order in the following scenarios:
                 - New Purchase Req created for different operations (you explained how above, perfect!)
                 - Seperate Purchase Req created for non-stock items (your answer above seems to group service operations and non-stock into the same Purchase Req).
                 - New Purchase Req created if the order has already been released.  (If the order's status is still at "Create", then the additional component can be appended to the existing Purchase Req.  If the order's status is "Released", and a new component is added, a new Purchase Req is created).
As mentioned, you explained how to do the first requirement.  Is there anyway SAP can handle the next two requirements using standard config and not customizing anything?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Questions on Rules-Based ATP and Purchase Requisitions for STOs

    Hello experts,
We are working on rules-based ATP configuration and have several questions about the functionality.  Iu2019m hoping that some of you are using this functionality and can help give us direction.
In our environment we have multiple distribution centers and multiple manufacturing plants.  We want to confirm sales orders against stock and production orders in any of those plants, depending on the locations that have stock or planned production.  For example, we will place a sales order against plant A.  If there is not enough stock in plant A then rules-based ATP will use location determination to check in plant B, then C.  The scope of check on the ATP check will include stock and released production orders.  We will configure plant A as the u201Cconsolidation locationu201D so if stock is found in plants B or C then stock transport orders will automatically be created to move the stock to plant A before shipping to the customer.
We have configured rules-based ATP and this functionality is working well in our Development system.  The ATP check is executed and uses the rules-based ATP to find eligible stock in other plants.  The system is also creating purchase requisitions to move the stock to the consolidation plant.
Our first concern is that there doesnu2019t appear to be any firm linkage between the sales order and the resulting purchase requisition.  For example, if we create sales order 123 for plant A and the rules-based ATP finds stock in plant B it automatically creates a purchase requisition 987 to move the stock from plant B to plant A.  However, there doesnu2019t appear to be a linkage between sales order 123 and purchase requisition 987.  For instance, if we delete sales order 123 the purchase requisition doesnu2019t get deleted.
Our second concern is that the quantity on the purchase requisition can still be confirmed against later sales orders.  For example, say the above scenario resulted in a purchase requisition 987 that consumed all the stock available in plant B.  We then create a second sales order 456 for the same product.  Plant A is out of stock so the rules-based ATP looks in plant B.  We would expect that plant B would also not have any stock because itu2019s all been consumed by the purchase requisition.  Instead, the system creates a second purchase requisition to move quantity from plant B to plant A.  Itu2019s as if the system doesnu2019t realize that the purchase requisition 987 is already planning to move stock out of plant B.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on these two scenarios?  Is there a way to configure the system so there is a hard linkage between the sales order and the purchase requisition so that if the sales order is deleted then the purchase requisition is also deleted?  Should ATP realize that purchase orders are consuming inventory and not allow later sales orders to confirm against that same inventory?  Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
The scheduling is done in SCM, and from there, whenever the RBA is triggered, the calculation is done always with the old route in SCM. Until you get back to R/3 this is when your route is determined. But the ATP check is always with the original route. So the idea would be that you change the values of the route while still in APO, this is possible via the user exit. Should be done in scheduling in APO.
    Hope this information is helpful.

  • MRP creating additional purchase requisitions for the existing sales order

    Hi,
We have scenario where we switch materials from POD material to ARP material. POD material is just like make to procurement which creates purchase requisition and purchase order upon saving the sales order. ARP (Auto replenishment) material creates purchase requisition based on sales order and re-order point while running MRP.
When the material is POD title, it created purchase requisition and purchase order (example: 4500000110) while saving the sales order (example: 1000000010) for the quantity 10. After some time this material is switched to ARP and it has open sales order (1000000010) and purchase order (4500000110).
We have special MRP run for ARP materials based on MRP type, which creates purchase requisition.. What is happening is when we run MRP; it is creating new purchase requisition for the old sales order (1000000010) for the quantity 10. But old sales order (1000000010) is already having purchase order (4500000110) to fulfill. So we donu2019t want to create new purchase requisition for the old sales orders. It should create purchase requisition only for new sales orders.
    Please advise
    Thanks in advance
    Srinivas

    Mangesh,
If the components are Inhouse production then you can think of using collective orders by assigning special procurement key 52. If raw material exists then your requirement cannot be met..as i think your scenario is of assembly processing. The idea of assembly processing is that component materials will always be available and only assembly will be done based on Sale Order.

  • Purchase requisition to Purchase order conversion

MRP generated the stock transport purchase requisition. (between two company codes)
When i converting the PR to PO, system creating Stock transport purchase order, item category as "U" instead of Standard Purchase order, doc type: NB.
We are using STO between two company codes, PO Doc type should be "NB",Delivery type" NLCC and Checking rule: B - SD Delivery.
Please give suggestion, where i'm missing the configuration.
    Thanks
    SUNIL

    Hi Sunil,
Looks like you did everything correctly, except -
Special procurement key which you assigned in the MRP2 view of material master in the receiving plant:
Check the configuration of the Special procurement key if it has U:
Materials Management> Consumption based planning>Master Data-->Define Special Procurement Types
The two digit key which is assigned in your material master can be looked in the above configuration what is maintained in it:
If you see: Special procurement  U    Stock transfer.....that is the culprit.
Fix it or you might have used a wrong key in the material master (check and change it)...

  • Converting Planned Order to Purchase Requisition

Is their configuration that can automatically convert planned order to purchase requisition based on information like planned delivery time, etc.?  Or, does the conversion of planned order have to be done via MD15 either manually or by batch job?

  • Reciept element purchase requisition not appearing in  mrp order report

    Dear Gurus
Receipt element purchase requisition is not appearing when I am trying to see the order report after running the mrp for the finished product .But the reciept element planned order is appearing for the semifinished products which are in the bom of the finished product. And if stock for raw materials are there then also it is showing the reciept element stock. Why is this happening ?
    Regards
    Sandip Sarkar

    Unable to interpret your query.
Based on my guessing.... a PR is not visible for the Finished material as it must be a make material & if a planned order is showing up it means there is not enough stock to meet the demand. Now the dependent demand flows down from the finished to SFG & RM respectively & hence the supply proposal.
The above is a straight forward planning cycle flow, so what the issue am not able to figure it out. Either you upload some screenshots & paste the link here or provide a detailed explanation to get a clear understanding.

  • Link between Planned Order and Purchase Requisition

    Hi All,
Is it possible to track a MRP planned order from the Purchase Requisition to which it was converted (using MD04 or MD14)?
And is it possible to track a purchase requisition based on a planned order?
Is there a clear connection - in DB tables - between MRP planned orders and different Purchasing documents - RFQ, PR, PO?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eytan.

    Hi Eytan,
see some corrections for your understanding
So, although it is not possible to track that connection, once you delete the PR that was previously created for the Planned Order, that same planned order becomes available again, and again you can convert it into a PR.
not possible to come again same planned order once you deleted purchase requisition, system will create new planned order during after next MRP run for this requirement
pls reward points and close this thread.

  • Firmed planned order and purchase requisition

    Hi gurus,
could anyone explain firmed planned order and firmed purchase requisition, please based on the following detail questions.
1.when planned order was converted into PR, we call it firmed PR, right?
2.when manually change a PR and save it, we call it firmed PR, right?
3.are these the only 2 ways to firm PR? if not, what else?
    4. how to firm planned order?
    5. in MRP, the on-order stock is defined as "composed of fixed and firm receipt elements (PO, firm planned orders, firm purchase requisitions), while in MD04, we always see all the PR created by MRP running, are these newly created PR firmed automatically?

    Hi,
For third party order, either you can create the material master with item category group as BANS, so the system will automatically pick TAS in the sales order for the material or you can change the item category manually to TAS in the order.
This will trigger a PR, based on the PR a PO will be generated.

    Hello,
As Silvia says, what we want to know is if it is possible in a standard SAP to assign different account assignments depending on the plant.
In the two scenarios we have, the account assignment would be different:
    1. Modify the production order: in one operation we change the control key from PP01 to PP02 so a purchase requisition is created ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT F (PRODUCTION ORDER)
    2. One of the components in the BOM is purchased, so when the MPS is execute, a planned order is generate for the finished product and a purchase requisition for the component. ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT C (SALES ORDER).
Is it possible to have in transaction OPJP account assignment C and then via  user exit COZF0001 Change purchase req for externally processed operation determine account assignment F for case one?
Thanks so much for your help,

  • Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order

    Hi,
My requirement is to Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    I have used Userexit         :- MV45AFZB
                     Customerexit :- EXIT_SAPFV45E_002
                     BADI             :- ME_REQ_OI_EXT, ME_REQ_POSTED
for my requirement, but in vain.
Of these Userexit  MV45AFZB, Customerexit EXIT_SAPFV45E_002, BADI ME_REQ_OI_EXT are getting triggered in Sales order creation but, Purchase requisition is not yet triggered and we dont have the VENDOR value with which i need to do perform some checks and update the Purchase requisition.
After I SAVE sales order, BADI ME_REQ_POSTED is getting triggered. Here, the purchase requisition is created ( not yet inserted into the database ) .I also have required VENDOR value, but in the given
BADI ME_REQ_POSTED I can make checks according to my requirement but not able to update the new values into purchase requisition.
Literally speaking, Iam struck up..Dont know what to do.....
Please let me know any Userexit/BADI/BTE where I can  Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    Thanks,
    Shivaa..

    Hi Max,
    It just struck to me...
As suggested by you, I thought of calling BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  from user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in MV45AFZZ .
I f I give PReq no. , BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  will take the particular PReq no., from database and then change it according to our requirements...
But, in our scenario I am calling the BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  and passing a PReq no..which doesnt exist in the d/b itself.....
    Anyways, let me try......
Meanwhile ,please suggest any other options for resolving the issue in question......

  • Creating Purchase Requisition/Order from a CRM Service Order

    Hello,
My client is using CRM 4.0 with Service Industry add-on.
I am trying to kick out a purchase requisition from a service order, but does not go through.
The Service Order is released in CRM and an internal order does get created in R/3. The material that I am using is a service product (defined in R/3 and used in CRM) and I trying to procure External services.
All the requisite configuration in CRM and R/3 have been done.
I get an error message E06 436 (In case of account assignment, please enter account assignment data for Item).
Would appreciate any feedback in this regard.

    Hi,
I am working on the some scenario. Based on the limited documentation, it appears that you have to create a service master in R/3 that is than replicated to CRM (object SERVICE_MASTER). I did this, and this works. However, I am facing the issue that there is no sales data assigned to the service product in CRM, while you do need this (service order is not complete).
I hope that I will have an answer for this, and then I think that it should work.
The PO that is created in R/3 will contain an item with item category D and account assignment F (in our case, as we work with internal orders as account assignment object).
The receipt of the service provided will then be posted by means of a service entry sheet in R/3.
