  • Purchase order emailed or printed or faxed to vendor

    Hi Team,
There is a requirement to have Purchase Orderu2018s emailed to the vendor ,if there is no email then it should be printed or Faxed to the vendor.
The Purchase Order email need to be generated automatically using output determination.Where if no email address is held in SAP, the Purchase Order should be printed or faxed and sent to the vendor  (Order should be email, fax or print)
can anyone guide me the steps for configuring the above requirement.
    Thanks

    hi..
    Message type for PO
    Go to
SPRO- > MM -> Puchasing- > Purchase Order ->Forms for Messages ->Assign Form and Output Program for Purchase Order
Generally for mailing its MAIL output type..
open this and assign the programs name(if created) and form name(if created by ABAP otherwise standard program name will be there) for any particular output type which you want to use for your PO output
here set ur communication medium..whether u want to communicate with vendor through fax, mail, or different modes are there..
After that go to me21n. then Goto menu and messages..
here in the output column assing your output type and ente the communication method button...assign output device there..
    It will work..
And if you using own defind output type then you have to do lot of congig like defien message type and message determination schema....
    hope it works.
    thanks...

  • Problem Purchase order created in SAP R/3 sent in to File XI?

    Hi all,

I am stuck at very first step in the documentation which says:
<b>Setting Communication ports:</b> in this it asks for "<b>RFC Destination</b>"
Please suggest me the step by step procedure to get through it.

  • Purchase Order Approval through Mobile Phone / BlackBerry

Dear fellows i am interested in Purchase Order Approval through Mobile Phone / BlackBerry. I have seen MSCA Mobile Supply Chain Application Guide but that is for telnet only devices and specific to supply chain. What are setup requirements to make PO approve though "Web App" or "Mobile App" as show in below image URL. We need to work it primarly on BlackBerry.
    http://www.exforsys.com/images/OracleApps/t10_files/image010.gif
That will require logging in to EBS through Mobile and Making EBS available on Public IP !?! If this all fuss needs to be done then is there some Notification Alert type mechanism which sends email, but here a user could also reply that email with keywords to Approve or Reject that PO !?!
    Thank you.

Dear Hussein, ur links are iPhone specific and also BPEL Connector specific ("Oracle Buisness Approvals for Managers" BPEL Connector). The links for Blackberry assume that i am atleast already getting emails on blackberry through EBS. Our env is through MS Exchange Server. Where as i believe from ur suggected docs that the EBS needs to have its own direct setup with blackberry
In our current env we are using Oracle Alerts to Just send an email to user that PO for approval is waiting. We are NOT using "Oracle WorkFlow Notification Mailer". For blackberry will we be locked to use Workflow Mailer (i see patch 6802716 pre req also)!?! or we can still use simple Alerts!?!
following thread says type "approve" in reply whereas metalink guides tell a URL to click in email. will it be a ...
    href="mailto:[email protected]?body=approve"
    type URL!?!
    http://oracle.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/oracle-apps-l/po-approval-through-mail-3077383
    ===============================================================
There are a couple of steps that need to be complete before this will work.
    Pre- Req's
    1. Associate all apps users / approvers with email addresses
    2. sync apps users with workflow
    3. Check workflow users to make sure email is set to HTML.
    4. Configure and enable workflow mailer. You will need configuration information for the email service being used and a mailbox on the email service.
    5. Send a test message from workflow mailer to an apps user.
If this is successful, then email based approval will work. If the user tries to approve using a smart phone (blackberry, etc.) they will have to hit reply and type approve as the message for approval to work.
this guy also points to this idea.

Approving Requisitions/PO’s in Oracle E-Business Using Blackberry Devices
Presentation of a solution using Blackberry Devices to approve requisitions and purchase orders in Oracle E-Business Suite. This solution required creating a text message to send to Blackberry users, and modifying the Workflow Java Mailer to be able to correctly read the default messages being sent back from blackberry devices. In addition, profile options were created that allowed simple key strokes to be translated into Approve or Reject options recognized by Oracle Workflow Java Mailer.

  • Idoc Generation after Purchase Order Creation through trading contract.

    Hi All,
When a Purchase Order is created via trading contract, I need to generate an Idoc and pass details of the Purchase Order created to the Partner System.
Can anyone suggest any Function module or user exit which gets called while Purchase Order creation through trading contract, so that I can fill the Idoc with necessary details of the Purchase Order and send that to the Partner System?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tejas,
I do not know about Trading Contract but what all I can say it that Check if Change pointers are getting written Once the PO has been created, If "Yes" then probably you do not have to do anything for craetion of Purchanse Order. You can use RBDMIDOC Program to create IDOCs from change pointers.
Refer [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/12/83e03c19758e71e10000000a114084/content.htm] for more information on change pointers.

  • Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order conversion through workflow

    Hello Experts,
My requirement is to create purchase requisition to purchase order automatically through workflow. How to proceed with these conversion, since am new to workflow please help me with the  valuable inputs.
    Thanks,
    Naveen

How does the senior person approve? using workflow or using transaction ME54N?
if it's the standrad transaction then again, use a user exit or the released event.
even if the approval is done in the workflow I would not recomend using creating the purchase order as part of the workflow since this is not a workflow issue, but if there is no other option create a new method in BUS2105 (use delegation) and call the BAPI in it.

  • Need BAPI for Purchasing Order Reject through Workflow

  • Purchase order emails are sent from SAP without attachment.

In SAP Business One, the user goes to Purchase order > clicks on the email icon >"Would you like to attach an edited report to the email?' > Yes > Send > Email is sent to the vendor.
If the connection to the B1SHR(mapped to network drive under general settings) was temporarily lost for a minute, the attachment is not saved.
Unfortunately, SAP allows you to proceed to send the email and does not alert you to the fact that the attachment was not saved.
Is there any setting in SAPB1 to get an error message when this occurs? Has anyone else come across this problem before?

    Maeve,
There is no setting in Business One to activate an error on this type of event.
I have run across a similar issue before.
Unfortunately if connectivity to the shared folder is lost during the saving process, B1 will not be able to throw an error due to the fact that as far as the application is concerned it has completed the task successfully.
If your users are experiencing this type of connection loss on a fairly regular basis, it may be something that needs to be addressed by the network administrator, IT dept., or Internet service provider(if they are connecting separately from the local network).
Otherwise, users would need to manually verify that the attachment was saved prior to sending the email.
    I hope this has helped.
    Kind regards,
    Lucas

  • SAP Triversity: Receiving Goods against Purchase Order created in SAP

    Hello,
We are working on a SAP Retail scenario where we are using SAP Triversity as our POS and Backoffice solution and SAP IS Retail as backend ERP. We have SAP XI and SAP POS DM (On SAP BW) installed also. We are trying the following scenario:
    1. Create a purchase order in SAP
    2. Transfer the PO to SAP Triversity via .ORR files (Trasformed through SAP XI)
    3. Post GRN against the PO in Triversity Store Manager
    4. Do the day end and collect the data of GRN in TLogs (Record type 1 and 1R)
    5. Transfer TLogs via XI to POS DM and then to SAP ISR (IDoc type WPUWBW)
We are able to do it upto step 3, but when we do the day end and run the cvtlog utility, the GRN data is not showing in the converted TLog files. My question is: from Triversity, Is it not possible to transfer GRN data for Purchased Orders that has been transferred electronically? If it is possible, can anyone please point out what steps are we missing out?
    Thanks and Sincere Regards,
    Amitabha

    Hi Amitabha,
If I understand this correctly, you are completing the Goods Receipts at the Store Manager Application, correct?
Then again, when EOD is performed and the TLOG is sent back to Head Office you are unable to see the Goods Receipt transactions performed at Store Manager application.
Now, something to point out is that every transaction performed in the Store Manager application gets its own txn file, denominated "p5".
Go to the following path at the SERVER:
    C:\XPS\sdata
Now, find all the "*.txn" files. You will note the following file:
####p500.txn (where #### is the store number).
All these "p5's" txn files contain the information you need. You just need to make sure that the EODPROC. BAT has the CVTLOG command line instructing to also convert these P5's txn files.
    Hope this helped,
