Purchase order triggering Sales order

I have a business scenario where the sales process happens between two internal companies.  Company 'A' (ordering company) creates PO on Company 'B' (Supplying company).  Company B inturn creates the Sales order, delivery, ships and bills to Company B.  Here we require the automatic trigger of Sales order in Company B whenever a PO is saved in Company 'A'.  Kindly suggest whether we can handles this requirements through any standard configuration process (similar to the one in Third Party process where the Sales order upon saving triggers Purchase Requisition in MM)

Hi Rahul,
I am doing exactly similar interface at the moment. Where we can created SO wrt to PO using ALE IDOC.
We have two plants where these plants relates each other as customer and vendor.
Customer A orders via PO triggers NEU output and process code ME10, idoc "orders05" and messge "orders".
Against this incoming idoc gets generated which creates SO.
Process code ORDE, idoc type ORDERS05 and message "orders".
You may also need to define data in VOE2 transaction for automatic determination of customer and vendor while generating idocs.
Even in customer and vendor master u need to maintain the fields where it says customer no at vendor side and vice versa.
Come back if this won"t suffice.
Best  regards,
Guru

  • Automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order

    Hi all,
I need some help related to the automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order)which i can set for the follwoing scenarios. I have looked on the forms and searched alot but not able to a single solution to solve both the pupose. if one scenario works the other doesnt. Please advise.
I have created the master data
    Customer receiving--G001
    Sales Org.--GXIN
    Distr. Channel- 01
    Division - 00
    Company code receiving - G1
    customer supplying- V001
    company code for supplying- V1
    2 different scenarios
1- Intercompany Purchase order in which a Customer receiving- G001, gets stock replenishment NB purchase order from supplying company V1- GI  and GR of stock is done. Biling document for customer receiving G001 is created. But now I need a way to do the opposite side posting at the supplying customer -V001-- this I do using an Idoc which creates a Invoice receipt for creditor(supplying customer) V001.
    2. Sales order-- A customer X001 of company code G1 buys stock from the company code V1. the customer G001 of company code G1 bills the customer X001, but the intercompany billing doc/ invoice is created for the customer G001 by company code V1.  then now i want an automatic account posting to be created at the supplying customer V001 via idoc.
Can this be achivable via Idoc with automatic account postings.
Please let me know if it doesnt make sense. thanks to all in advance
    cheers
    Jasmeet

    Hi all,
For the Sales order and automatic posting we have created an output type ZR4N- this is creating a batch input session which can be triggered to be processed autmatically.
For the intercompany Purchase order -from Invoice we are creating a different output RD04 (sap standard) which creates invoice receipt at the vendor side.
Rest of the settings are defined using SAP standard functionality within transaction OBCA, OBCB, OBCC, OBCD,OBCE
    thanks for viwing the post
    Cheers

  • Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order

    Hi,
My requirement is to Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    I have used Userexit         :- MV45AFZB
                     Customerexit :- EXIT_SAPFV45E_002
                     BADI             :- ME_REQ_OI_EXT, ME_REQ_POSTED
for my requirement, but in vain.
Of these Userexit  MV45AFZB, Customerexit EXIT_SAPFV45E_002, BADI ME_REQ_OI_EXT are getting triggered in Sales order creation but, Purchase requisition is not yet triggered and we dont have the VENDOR value with which i need to do perform some checks and update the Purchase requisition.
After I SAVE sales order, BADI ME_REQ_POSTED is getting triggered. Here, the purchase requisition is created ( not yet inserted into the database ) .I also have required VENDOR value, but in the given
BADI ME_REQ_POSTED I can make checks according to my requirement but not able to update the new values into purchase requisition.
Literally speaking, Iam struck up..Dont know what to do.....
Please let me know any Userexit/BADI/BTE where I can  Update Purchase Requisition from Sales Order based on the Vendor number in
    Purchase Requisition .
    Thanks,
    Shivaa..

    Hi Max,
    It just struck to me...
As suggested by you, I thought of calling BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  from user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in MV45AFZZ .
I f I give PReq no. , BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  will take the particular PReq no., from database and then change it according to our requirements...
But, in our scenario I am calling the BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE  and passing a PReq no..which doesnt exist in the d/b itself.....
    Anyways, let me try......
Meanwhile ,please suggest any other options for resolving the issue in question......

i m doing automatic purchase order from sales order. i have generated purchase requisition number from sales order now when i m trying to do automatic po the system says no suitable purchase requisition available.I have maintained info record, source code, automatic po tick in material master and in vendor master.what could be the problem .waiting for ur valuable inputs.

    Hello,
Please check all the things mentioned by our experts e.g Source allocation ,infor record, source list.
Beside that I would suggest check document flow whether already PO is created or not.
If every thing is in place then try to create PO with reference to PR by transaction ME21N & see what error you receives.
    Hope this help you ,

  • ATP,confirm quantity for Purchase Order related Sales Order

    Hi everybody,
I have purchase requisition related sales order item. I created purchase order with this PR.
I entry confirmation date and quantity on the PO.
Sales order item's delivery date equal to purchase order item's confirmation date.
Sales order item's confirmed quantity eq purchase order item's confirmed quantity. It is ok for me.
But, goods receipt not do yet for this purchase order and sales order stock = 0.
If I run VL10N for this sales order, I can create delivery.
I wants to see availilable sales order stock item on the VL10N items. How can I see?
    or
If no goods receipt for sales order items then sales order item confirmed quantity can equal 0. How can I do?
    Best regards
    Gulay Celik

    Hi
You can meet your requirement in multiple ways
    1) Modify the requirement routine for copy control from Sales order to Delivery  that DO not create the delivery for third party orders unless the GR is posted for the respective sales order.
    2) IF you have implementded Inbound Delivey functionality in your system, You can change the availabiltity situation every time you modify the GR dates and times. Modify the PO user exit that when ever a new confirmation Key LA is entered in the purchase order it goes and updates the schdule line dates and quantities in the order based on the dates entered in the LA confirmation key.
and even if delivey gets created also what is the problem ? The GI cannot be posted though unlsess there is sufficient stock.

  • Purchase Order against Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
It could be possible to prepare purchase order against sales order in which the data of sales order could be pulled in  purchase order. Please help me in this matter.

    Hi Shailesh......
Off course it is possible. All you need to do s Open Sales Order and go to Logistic Tab and while creating Sales Order ctick on Split Purchase Order and the moment you add the Sales Order it will Pop up the Purchase Order creation window where you need to fill the details and add PO and then add Sales Order.
But if you have defined Preferred Vendors in Item Master Data then while autocreation of PO by this way will take its Preferred vendors automatically.......

  • Combined Purchase Order and Sales Order Query. (Including Stand Alone Docs)

    Hi,
    I need some help please!
I am looking for a query that will show all the Purchase Orders with all their base document Sales Orders. However I also need to show those stand alone Purchase orders and Sales Orders.
What I have is two queries, one for the PO fields en one for The SO fields. I would like a way to combine these two so I have one query with the relevant PO and SO info next to each other.
The final query will have a top heading structure like this:
    Status,Purchase No.,Supplier No.,Supplier Name,Week,Month,Del Method,Country,Method,Rep.|Status,Rep.,Sales No.,Customer No.,Customer Name,Customer Order no.,Cust. Del date,Doc total,Del Method
+(The first part is for the purchase order section, the second part starting at the second 'Status' is the sales order section)
    +Purchase Order Query:
    SELECT
      T0.DocStatus 'Status',
      T0.DocNum'Purchase Order No.',
      T0.CardCode 'Supplier No.',
      T0.CardName'Supplier Name',
      DATEPART(ww,T0.DocDuedate)'Week',
      DATEPART(mm,T0.DocDuedate) 'Month',
      T1.TrnspName 'Delivery Method',
      T2.Country 'Country',
      T0.JrnlMemo 'Method',
      T3.SlpName 'Rep.'
    FROM OPOR T0
    INNER JOIN OSHP T1 ON T0.TrnspCode = T1.TrnspCode
    INNER JOIN OCRD T2 ON T0.CardCode = T2.CardCode
    INNER JOIN OSLP T3 ON T0.SlpCode = T3.SlpCode
    Sales Order Query:
    SELECT
      T0.DocStatus 'Status',
      T2.SlpName 'Rep.',
      T0.DocNum 'Sales Order No.',
      T0.CardCode 'Customer No.',
      T0.CardName 'Customer Name',
      T0.NumAtCard 'Customer Order no.',
      T0.DocDueDate 'Cust. Delivery date',
      T0.DocTotal ' Doc total',
      T1.TrnspName ' Delivery Method'
    FROM ORDR T0
    INNER JOIN OSHP T1 ON T0.TrnspCode = T1.TrnspCode
    INNER JOIN OSLP T2 ON T0.SlpCode = T2.SlpCode
The problem I am having is that if I combine these queries it excludes all those records with blank/empty data fields.
I do not mind having to go to crystal reports to get what I want.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    Hi thanks GordonDu,
I have tried a union before, and yours works great. However my problem is to display the  PO en SO columns next to each other and not underneath each other.
    Something like this:
Po No          Supplier          SO No           Customer
    1234           Sup 1             9876              Cust 1
    1235           Sup 2             no SO             Cust 2
    1236           Sup 3             9877              Cust 3
    1237           Sup 4             9878              Cust 4
    1238           Sup 5             no SO             Cust 4
I have this query, but with this it drops all those Purchase Orders made Stand Alone and without a SO number.
    SELECT
      T2.DocNum AS 'Purchase Order No.',
      T0.DocNum AS 'Sales Order No.',
      T2.CardCode AS 'Supplier No.',
      T2.CardName AS 'Supplier Name'
    FROM ORDR T0
       INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
       INNER JOIN OPOR T2 ON T2.DocEntry = T1.PoTrgEntry
Though using your Union gives me all the information I want and the ability to expand on that, my problem is the "Display" part. I am sure I am doing something stupid somwhere

  • No Purchase order and sales order from trading contact

    Hi Gurus,
I am new to this module and i am trying to create a Trading contract. As I understand that the trading contract should create Purchase order and Sales order automatically. But in my case, this didn't happen.
In this regard, I want to know,
    i. Are info records mandatory or mentioning the required purchasing and sales data during contract creation is sufficient.
ii. What are the configurations required to do for GTM functionality and which are the points should I check for this.
    help me out.

    HI
there are some status that is required to be set while you save a  trading contract.
your trading contract must be approved or released..only then follow-on docs will be created.

  • Purchase Requisition and Sales Order Linkage (Order Costing)

    Dear, Gurus
I have a scenario where in the Purchase Requisition you can assign acct cat C for Sales Order to item 010 for example. What exactly is this used for I mean is it used to transfer the price of the purchase into the Sales Order? Or its just a linking for reporting purpose? User would like if the purchase order or its requisition price come into the conditions of my Sales Order. Is this possible if yes how or thru which condition type? I was told this is order costing and I have no idea how to configure my sales order in terms of order costing to pull the price of the purchase requisition or purchase order.
    Recap
    1)     What is the purpose of the linkage to the Sales order?
    2)     Can the price be linked into the sales order this way?
    3)     Any other valuable information I should know please feel free.
Thanks and hope to hear from you geniuses.

    Aroop thanks for your reply.
My scenario is not the same as in 3rd party processing. In fact my scenario is make to order and even repairs of other companies machinery. Now what we are trying to achieve is lets say in the repair or in production of the customers machinery or service, MM needs to make a purchase for a part or tool etc. That in itself has a price. Meaning our purchase mm dept has to pay the vendor for the purchase made and in return we need to charge our customer for that purchase. So we would like for the price of the purchase order come in our sales order condition type as a surcharge.
We were able to fetch the price of the production order automatically thru condition type EK02.
We would like to do the same from purchase order.

  • U00A7ECH Engineering Change with Purchase Order, Process Order and Sales Order

    Hello All,
Can someone kindly explain me the integration points of Engineering Change with
    1. Purchase Order
    2. Process Order
    3. Sales Order
I know we can see the Rev Letter in the first two. Is there a 'refresh' function inside the  PO, Process Order, Sales Order by which we can get the latest and greatest revision, incase the material rev is updated/changed after the PO, Proc Order, SO is already created. Also if yes, after what status in PO, Process Order or Sales Order we cannot use the 'Refresh' button, and than what needs to be done to fix this situation.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sachin

    Hi,
really, this depends on several factors, especially the valid from date of the ECM and its impact on changes on a BOM (which I suppose is the use case you are looking at? Or just a change on the material revision of the BOM header material?
Interesting for you should also be Order Change Management, although not applicable to process orders as far as I know:

  • Capture the purchase price during sales order creation

    Hi,
User wanted to capture the item purchase price when a sales order is raised.
Currently, the sales order capture the VPRS whcih is coming from the material valuation (MAP) price.
Is there a standard condition type that will captured the purchase price in the PIR record or the PP condition?
    Thanks

    Hi
As far as i know it is not possible to fetch the purchase price in sales order.
May be you can define an another condition type asa statistical and maintain the condition records for that. But it will be a tedious job for maintaining all the things.
