Purchase Orders and Invoices

Hi all
Is there a report I can run that will show me all Purchase Orders and the Invoices posted against these P.O.'s. If there isnt can I create areport via SQVI and wjat tables must I join together.
Thanks
Vishnu

Hi Vishnu,
The simplest SQVI you can define for showing purchase orders and their invoices is with tables <b>VBRP</b> and <b>VBFA</b>. VBRP shows the basic information about the invoice items, and VBFA (document flow) shows basic info about the documents in the chain up to the invoice (for instance PO's.) You can later expand your report with EKKO and other tables.
I hope this tip was useful to you.

  • Different Currency in Purchase order and Invoice

    Hi MM Gurus,
Kindly suggest me as to how to map the following scenario is SAP.
Purchase order is placed on the Vendor in currency USD. Vendor is from India.Excise details are not captured in Purchase order. Vendor invoice is in currency INR and all the applicable duties will be mentioned and this has to be
    captured in Invoice entry.
    Regards
    Yoga

    Hi Yoga,
You can use Parner Schema in your Vendor Master for this issue.
If you want a partner schema for your own document type then define your partner schema and assign to document type using the below mentioned path.
    IMG->MATERIAL MANAGEMENT->PURCHASING->PARTNER ->DETERMINATION - >PARTNER SETTINGS IN PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ->DEFINE PERMISSION  PARTNER SCHEMAS
    And then
ASSIGN PARTNER SCHEMAS TO DOCUMENT TYPE

  • Purchase Order and Invoice in Different Currency

    Hi All
Is it possible to capture an Invoice with foreign currency agianst an order created in local currency using T.Code MIRO
    Vishnu

    Hi Vishnu ,
The Currency is defaulted from PO in MIRO and in PO it is defaulted from vendor master. So there is no option to change the currency in the MIRO. if you have to change it you have to change the PO and also set the conversion factor and also maintain the values in t-code OB08 for the same .
I am sorry but i dont think that there is any possibility at MIRO level for changing the currency.

  • Purchase Order and Invoice

    Hi,
Is there a way to link a PO with its invoice details?
    Thanks

    Hi,
You can get the Invoice number for a PO from the GLPCA table in R/3.
The datasource for installing in BW is 0EC_PCA_3.
Install this and you will have the PO and the Invoice number in that DS.

  • Service purchase orders and invoice

    Hi Team
Our payables team wants to enter invoice as and when they receive on Service POs.
We have seen SAP is not blocking MIRO before service entry sheet (MIGO) which SAP does in case of goods POs.
Do we have to maintain some config on FI side or MM side to make this happen?
    Regards,
    Amit

Service based IV will not allow user to create MIRO without service entry sheet.
My requirement is I want to enter MIRO before service entry sheet and it should get blocked.

  • Purchase Order Status: Invoiced Quantity diregrading the oldewst invoice

    Hi Guys!
We have upgraded from $4.6C to ECC6.0 and the following has been noticed by our users: when they first display an existing PO the invoiced amount in Status tab diregards the oldest invoice. When they refresh teh screen, by clicking Other Purchase Order and leaving the number of the PO unmodified, the invoiced amount in status is correct. Does anybody know what can be done?
    Best regards,
    Ileana

    Hi,
please review the following information in SAP Note No. 456691 as
    copied below:
    18. Question:
When are the header conditions updated if a purchase order item is
    deleted?
    Answer:
If a purchase order item is deleted, the item is marked as 'statistical'
(field EKPO-STAPO = X) and the change is reflected in the header
    conditions.
However, if for the item the final invoice indicator(EKPO-EREKZ) or the
inward delivery completed indicator (EKPO-ELIKZ) is set, the item is not
marked as 'statistical' (EKPO-STAPO is not set) and thus the header
    conditions are not updated.
    I hope this helps you

  • Purchase order and Account assignement category- Change

    hi.,
We are trying to receive the Purchase order of High value components into INVENTORY.
However, most of these Purchase Orders were created with account assignments.
Because of that, if we receives these PO’s, they will be consumed against the object identified in the account assignment.
Additionally, some of these have been invoiced already and would need to be backed out from the finance side.
Question: How can we receive these STO Purchase orders and then make changes through Movement type ( or any other way ) so that the HIgh Value Components that are consumed against that AC assignment can be subsequently moved into Invenotory.
Also, what are the other options ( FI will not open Previous period) so that the PO's which have been invoiced  can be reversed against that AC assignment.
    Thanks All

    hi Rajesh.,
As mentioned earlier, these  Purchase orders are STO's which have been already created and we are waiting to do the GR for the same. Items in the STO PO are of  High value which we need to bring into  INVENTORY.
But, because these STO PO's were created with account assignments, if we do GR now, they will be consumed against the object identified in the account assignment.
Some of these STO PO's have been invoiced already and  FI has indicated that they could cancel the invoices for those STO PO's in previous posting period.
Question again : How can we receive these STO Purchase orders and then make changes through Movement type ( or any other way ) so that the HIgh Value Components that are consumed against that AC assignment can be subsequently moved into Inventory and not to a cost Center (202)
Step (1) Can we cancel the Invoiced items> reverse the GR for invoiced Items>reverse STO for PO ?
Step (2) Can we reverse the STO for PO for which GR has not been done? then
Step (3) Change the PO through ME22N, remove the Account assignment category?
Or how do we correct this situation for
          (1) PO's already invoiced.
          (2) PO for which GR has not been made. How can we receive them into Stock and not Cost center.
    Anticipating a reply
    Thanks

  • Purchase order and service entry sheet

    Hi
Is there a way to prohibit modifications on the position of services purchase order when the service entry sheet and the invoice were already entered for that position?
Thanks in advance for your help
    Tomas

hi, thanks for your help, but the problem that i have is when the service entry sheet and the invoice are allready entered, the user change the value of the position and the service tab, so the user can enter services for more amounts. So its produce difference on the purchase order history between the values of LERF (WE) and the value of the purchase position. For example
Service Purchase order for 100 dollars.
Tab service: 2 units for 50 dollars
The user enter one service entry sheet for 50 and the invoice for 50 (lerf and WE= 50)
Then the user change the position of the purchase order and increase the value to 100 and modifies the service tab to 1 services for 100.
Then he enter one service for 100 and the corresponding invoice..........so the result is the following:
    Service purchase position: 100
    LERF-WE: 150
so the purchase order history is inconsistence.
For that reason i whant to know is there is a wat to prohibit modifications on the position of purchase order
Thanks in advnace for your help

    Hi Yoga,
You can use Parner Schema in your Vendor Master for this issue.
If you want a partner schema for your own document type then define your partner schema and assign to document type using the below mentioned path.

  • Migrate Open items - Sales orders/ purchase orders and unbilled deliveries

    Hello All
Can you please tell me the best practice to migrate open sales orders, purchase orders and deliveries due for billing at Cutover to the new system?
Also how can the historical data be migrated? What all comes under historical data?
    Many Thanks
    CM

The way the sales order data is migrated is largely dependent on the number of orders you are intending to migrate. 'Best practice' would suggest you do the following:
    1) Do not migrate any completed orders (they should be kept as 'read only' in the legacy system)
    2) Get the business to close as many orders as possible before the cutover
    3) Stop entry of any new orders during the cutover the period - hold them back and enter them directly into SAP.
Once you have a manageable numebr of orders to migrate you really have two options:
Upload the basic order into SAP (we have usually done this from a spreadsheet using ALE or some similar tool). The basic data is confirmed to order type, order number, order date, customer number, material code and quantity. Any data in addition to this is then added manually to the system by the users e.g. pricing info (this is really important as pricing data is really difficult to map). To do this you will need to have sequenced this correctly e.g. ensuring that the data and config for both the materials and customers are all already in the system before you load the orders.
The second option would be to load them all completely manually - which is why I said at the beginning that really, the best approach is determined by the quantity of orders you need to migrate.
I am sure other people will have used other methods but these two are the ones we usually use.
(edit) P.S. you must remember that 'open' sales orders are any orders that are not yet billed so even if an order is delivered in your legacy system if it has not been invoiced you MAY need to migrate it. But as I metioned at the beginning - it would really be better to complete that order (i.e. bill it) before you close the legacy system so that it does not need to be migrated.
    ========
For deliveries - again, there is no simple fix for this. Because the migration of a delivery demands the migration of an open sales order, the best approach is probably to load the sales order basic data, get the users to complete the sales orders (as described above) and then run the delivery due lists or manually and individually deliver each sales order item.
You cannot migrate ONLY the deliveries, you need to migrate the preceeding order(s) as well. But, again, if you take the approach of closing as many as possible in the legacy system, it will be much easier than migrating them.
