Purchase receipt e-mails have stopped

The last one I got was in the middle of May 2010; it is now 7 June 2010 -- that is about 3 weeks with no receipts.
I've made app purchases every few days. They show up in my receipt history in my iTunes account info, but the receipt e-mails have stopped coming in (and, yes, I do get other e-mail, so nothing wrong with my e-mail account).
Any ideas why the receipt e-mails have stopped?

I have the same problem. The last receipt was in march. Is this the answer?

In the linked message they say that you don't receive email receipts for free apps, for updates,...
I mostly download free apps and I buy songs through card songs, codes,... so it is normal?

I recently updated my Mac book and Itunes and Mail have stop responding.
iTunes work fine till I connect my Iphone. The moment I connect my iphone it stops responding. I have reset my phone couple of times already and have re-install iTunes few times. Does anyone have any other suggestion on it?
Mail will never Quit. It will get my new mails or send them when I start it but after five mins or so it will stop responding at all.
Please let me know if anyone is facing similar problem.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup.  If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup.  You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone.  However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

  • My Safari, Address Book and Mac Mail have stopped working.

Recently my Safari, Address book and Mac Mail have become unstable, I cannot edit or copy anything from my Address book, most of the time it'll stop responding before I can even view an address. My Safari keeps freezing and then crashing and I have to force quit, sometimes several times before it'll close. The Mac Mail won't do anything, it tries to download mail and then will sit there doing nothing, again sometimes I have to force quit several times before it'll actually quit.
I have run the extended hardware test and all is fine, I have reinstalled my OS and then restored my info from a backup and still it doesn't work. Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Hi jen_bob,
My iMac is a trooper, so far this is the first time its played up - I have I pushed it too far?
I think you've just installed the wrong version of Safari, that's all. Safari 3.x is supposed to be for OS X 10.4 or 10.5 - according to your tag line you are using 10.3.9.
Assuming you are using 10.3.9, then the Safari install will have updated a few system frameworks that are used by other applications (such as Mail). In that case, the 'easiest' way to get things working again is to do an 'Archive & Install' and choose to preserve users and network settings.

  • E-Mails Have Stopped and my daughter received a fr...

We have recently been on holiday.  Whilst away my daughter received an e-mail from our e-mail address which basically told a sob story about mugging and theft and asked for money to get us all home.  Needless to say this was fraudulent.
On returning home on logging in to Outlook Express 6 we receive the "No new mails" message on logging on so have not received any new mails since 9 Sep.  We have obviously fallen prey to some form of phishing, what is the remedy in layman's terms please?
    Thanks in advance,

Hi Richard. Welcome to the forums.
Sorry to hear of the problem you've got.
If you have replied to any emails requesting your email address and password detaills, then the first thing to do is to change the email address password.
(My shortcuts option 3 has a link for that).
It is possible that someone has managed to get your email details other ways.
Now - if you keep a list of contacts in your online email (webmail) access, then it's possible that all the contacts got the same email as your daughter. It is likely that all of your emails you were receiving are lost, or worse going to a forwarding address.
You will need to check the following :-
You will need to login to webmail (http://mail.yahoo.com) entering your full email address as the Yahoo! ID. Got to Options/Mail (or More) Options/POP & Forwarding
There might be an email address in the forwarding box - if not then that's fine. If so, then a scammer is receiving all of your emails. You need to highlight the other option, and then choose Save Changes.
Make a note of any email address.
See how you get on for now.

  • Apple mail has stopped downloading my e-mails from Yahoo sky mail

My Sky e-mails have stopped downloading through Apple mail on my macbook and my iphone 5 but I have another address that still works (also through Yahoo!!).  The mail download bar starts up but then doesn't download anything.  I can send e-mails from Sky account through Apple Mail but the e-mail doesn't show up in the sent folder.  I've tried deleting and reinstalling the account but this has done nothing.

When I go into the mail account, it tells me that I have a messages total and an amount unread - the 'load more messages' text but won't do anything else

  • Apple Retail store said I would receive my iPhone purchase receipt via email but I have not received anything. What can I do to get my receipt?

I purchase a iPhone 6 today at an official apple store and when purchasing the phone, the employee said that the I will receive my receipt via email. Over 8 hours have passed and I have yet to receive my receipt. I have also checked the junk mail and it's not there. I paid by cash if this helps.

Give them a little more time.   Especially over the weekend, staff are not always able to enter the details of sales into the records.   Let us know when it arrives (or if it doesn't).

  • I've just purchased an ipad2 and have synced it with outlook to get all contacts.  I've also set up my earthlink mail account and it sends/receives fine.  IS there a way to sync it so I get all of the legacy emails sitting in the OUtlook inbox?

I've just purchased an ipad2 and have synced it with Outlook to get all contacts, etc.  I've set up the mail account and it is working just fine.  The sync doesn't pull over legacy emails from Outlook and my Outlook has been set up to remove them from the webmail server therefore they aren't available from webmail anymore.  Is there anyway to pull them over to the iPad?

But is there a way (simple or not-so-simple) to find
out EVERY SINGLE FILE that's referenced on a
timeline? (I have lots of stuff imported into the
project that I know isn't used on any timeline, but
I'm afraid of moving or deleting things for fear of
    never finding it again.)
I'd love to get some sort of "printout" (a list or
    something) of every single file.
There is, go to browser and cntrl click on any one of the columns,
and select - show/source. A new column named "source" will pop up and will show where everything "lives". Click on the header at the top and it will justify the column as well. You'll notice this won't show anything for your seq.'s. of course, but will show stills/audio/motion files...
Once you have the new column, you can drag it next to the "name" column and get a grab of it and print it if you like, or whatever.
If you want to do this for just 1 seq., then can create a new bin and double click it to open it. Cntrl-A (select all) in your main seq. and just drag all into the new bin. You will see only what's in that seq. with the "source" column right next to it.
From what I've read, you seem to get the MM thing and it's obviously what you'll need to do to archive as the guys said. But what your missing is a file path system to where everything resides.
Hope this helps and that I've read you properly,
    Peace

As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.

How do I get the Itunes Music Library to stop showing and asking me to purchase the songs I have drug in for playlist?

If I make a playlist of my favorite Sax players by dragging there songs from their homepage into my playlist not purchasing them.  Those songs appear along side my regular songs in my overall music library with option to buy them.  The only way to get rid of them in my Music library seems to be to delete the playlist.

Apple could not tell you who else might be using your credit card, so there's no point in trying to contact them. All they could discuss with you is your own iTunes Store account, and if there's nothing in your purchase history, the charges almost certainly aren't coming from there. Again, you should take this up with your bank/credit card company and report these charges as fraudulent. They probably will cancel your card and issue you a new one.
    Regards.

    Hi Jim,
Start with checking the services to see if tyhe SBO mailer is running. If yes check the definition of the alerts so that they are still defined to send email. ALso chech the outbox in B1 to see if there are mails not sent.
Further, check with your IT guys that the name or IP of the SMTP server has not changed.
    I hope it helps,

  • Mail delivery and received sounds have stopped

Recently the "whoosh" sound that accompanies mail being sent simply stopped working. A couple of days later the incoming mail alert stopped as well. In all other respects, my Mac mini seems to be working just fine. I'm running the most current OS version. Any ideas? Should I be worried about an impending system failure?

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.
This support article from Apple explains how the side switch works.
