  • Close  open purchase requisitions

    Dear All,
We have a scenario like this:
We have created a purchase requisition of 100 quantity and converted it to purchase order of say 90 qty only.
Now 10 qty is still open in PR.
I want to close this PR.
There are many such open PRs which needs to be closed.
Kindly suggest how to proceed with this.
    Regards,

You could use a LSMW to manually check the item closed box on the PR line item.  To prevent this from happening in the future and if the process is to disregard any open PR quantities in a situation like yours, the SAP help says this:
    o   Set this indicator manually
        -   In change mode for a purchase requisition on the item detail
            screen
        -   When you create a purchase order with reference to a purchase
            requisition
o   Have the system set the indicator when automatically creating
        purchase orders from purchase requisitions
You can use the indicator Set reqs to "closed" to specify that the
purchase requisition is considered closed once the associated
purchase order has been created, even if the complete requisition
        quantity has not been ordered.
    Hope this helps

  • Auto PO  creation using purchase requisition

    Hi,
I have tried the following steps for auto PO creation using purchase requisition.
    i. Maintain Auto PO in Material master Purchasing view
ii. Select Automatic purchase order in Vendor master- Purchase data
    iii. Maintain info-record
    iv. Create PR through ME51
    v. enable source determination during creation of PR
    vi. Execute using ME59N
But Auto PO is creating with the same document type (e.g NB) which is used while creating purchase requisition (e.g NB). Following steps have done in SPRO.
    1. SPRO - MM - Purchasing - purchase requisition - define  document type
    a. NB- PR document type LINK TO DI01- PO document type
    2. SPRO - MM - Purchasing - Purchase order - Define document type
    a. DI01- PO document type LINK TO NB- PR document type
    3. There is no linking from NB - NB & DI01 - DI01 but still it is creating auto PO with document type NB iif requisition has been created with document type NB.
Please suggest on this . waiting for ur quick response.

  • Auto PO using Purchase requisition

What are the steps and procedure for creating auto Po
I have tried the following at my end and failed
    1) Material Master tick Auto Po
    2) vendor master tick auto Po
    3) source list
    4) info record
    5) ME59N,ME59
let me know what could be the possible problem i have commited cause of which my attempt was not succesful
I would like to create a Purcahse order with a non standard PO document type

    Hi,
You can create auto P.O. from purchase requisition using assignment list.
    Prerequisites for auto P.O.generation from assignment list are;
Sources must have already been assigned to the requisitions to be converted
    Create P.O.using assignment list:
    SAP Menu-Logisticsmaterial management-purchasing-purchase ordercreate-via requisition assignment list
    Second Alternative is:
In automatic PO Generation, the system selects only those requisition items that satisfy the following conditions
:The Automatic Purchase Order indicator must have been set in the plant specific purchasing data of material master record
:The Automatic Purcahsr Order Indicator must have set in the purchasing data of the Vendor Master Record
: Valid Conditions must have been determined for the assigned source

  • Auto Purging of Purchase Requisition

Does anyone has any experience in auto purging of incomplete purchase requisition? Currently it can be done manually but we would prefer to run a concurrent program to do it periodically. Any information will be appreciated.

I have seen a PO program called "Purge System-saved Requisitions" (POXSSPG, execution method is SQL*Plus) - may be you can analyze it for your custom concurrent program.

  • Auto Creation of Purchase Requisition at Contract Level

    Hi All,
I am having business requirement for creation of purchase requisition at contract level for third party Products.
    Brief Business requirement
My client is in trading business of telecom product.  They are sourcing product from different-different vendors and some of the product is also supplied by him self. As a business practice the system will automatically create an Installed base as per structured by business owner once delivered the product to end customer and also assigned warranty norms.
Once warranty is over then customer will called for contract since at the time sailing the product warranty will be liability of the company which in terns had some mutual contract with supplier (back to back replacement).
But once the same will come under service agreement/contract on that time they want installed base selection of components should had a functionality to segregate component based on vendor because they want to calculate % margin based on net sale value of the product.(e.g 10% of net sale Value 10,0000)  not only that they also wants based on that system should automatically create Purchase requisition so that logistic department will take care of third party agreement part.
If any body come across with such kind of business scenario. Please share the proposed solution.

  • Auto delete Purchase Requisition!!

    Dear,
I make a Material and attach that material in BOM and run MRP. I got the Purchase Requisition. Again I delete that material from BOM, and Run MRP. But the Purchase Requisition is still there. I want to delete the PR, when the material is deleted from BOM.
    Kandly help me in this.
    Regards
    Biswaranjan

Just assiging a material to a BOM will not effect that MRP plans this material.
It plans this material if you e.g. create a production order in reference to this BoM.
Removing the material from the BoM will not effect the MRP, you would need to change the existing production order  and remove the component there  as well (or delete the entire production order)

  • Archiving Purchase Requisitions - MM_EBAN

    Hello All,
My name is Charlie Azzopardi. I am the SAP/Oracle DBA at Parmalat Canada. I have been
charged with the responsibility of managing our SAP Data Archiving project. I have had
no formal training on the data archiving side of things. I have been researching this
on and off for the last couple of years and we are now ready to start archiving a
couple of objects. These being MM_EBAN and MM_EKKO.
We have purchase requisitions and purchase orders, which we would like to archive.
They date back to the beginning of 2003.
How would we write an auto-close program for these and get around the "date changed"
being changed to the current date ?
Please bear in mind I am not an abap programmer.
    For example:
If I ran an auto-close program today, the "date changed" field would contain today's date.
Today's date does not fall within my residence time criteria for purchase orders or purchase requisitions.
Thus, they would not be selected for archiving.
How do I get around this ?
Would you be able to provide an example of a program which would allow us to get past this ?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
With this message i understand that, there are higher percentage of PR's and PO's that are old and still open so now you want to close and archive those documents. Due to this reason you are looking for Auto-Close program?
    Suggestion:
Even after setting last change date for today still you can archive by changing Residence Time1 and Residence Time 2 = 0.
If this is a one time activity then during System Quite period you can do changes in Residence time1 & 2 =0 and Run the Archiving job and later bring back customizing to the original settings.
If you have not got the right answer then revert back with reason why you are looking for Auto-close program.
I can suggest you some workaround activities.
    -Thanks,
    Ajay

  • PR auto close

    Dear all,
My plant wants the scenario like if PR is open from more than 2 months without any action then system auto. close the PR.
Is it possible if yes then how?
    Neha

    Hi,
The 'closed' indicator on a Purchase Requisition can only be set
manually. This can be done by one of the following methods :
1] In the change Purchase Requisition transaction ME52, set the
       close indicator.
2] If you use transaction ME21 or ME21N to create the PO with reference
to the Purchase Requisition , the 'closed' flag has to be set
manually. In transaction ME21N , the indicator to close the Purchase
Requisition is in the delivery schedule tab of the item details at
the far right end of the window.
The close indicator is never set automatically. This is standard SAP
    system design.

  • Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition

    Hi To All,
my customer while using tcode me2m hase extracted purchase order opened since 2007. now he want to close all this order and settle them to zero. this operation should be done also for the purchase requisition.
there is a standard way to do this? if not any idea?
    thanks
    C.

    Hello
    Just by doing
In the PO line item level details, activate DELIVERY COMPLETED check box.
system will not close po from GR
U will have to check what is the gr qty did till date
and update the po with the same qty manually
    eq
if po qty is 50 and total gr done till date is 40
change the PO qty to 40 and save
this is the way u can shot close the po
Which effects has the "delivery completed" indicator?
The purchase order item is considered closed, even though the total quantity may not have been delivered.
Although a further delivery is not expected, it is still possible.
At the time of the next goods receipt, the system suggests the item as unselected.
The purchase order item can be deleted, even if the total quantity was not delivered.
Although the "delivery completed" indicator is not set, a purchase order item is still considered closed if the full quantity has been delivered. In this case, the "delivery completed indicator" is not required.
The system allows to make further goods receipts. Why?

  • Photoshop is unable to Register/ Auto-Closes upon opening

    Alright,
I've seen at least one other user with this problem, and it's nothing that can be resolved by signing in and out of the Adobe CC application, or even the Ctrl+Shift+Alt and opening trick.
So recently I went with the $9.99 a month package for Adobe Creative Cloud containing Photoshop and Lightroom.
No matter what I try, it won't ever prompt me to input a serial to register Photoshop, therefore any attempts at opening it set off it's anti-piracy measures and make it force-close immediately after opening/ after it finishes loading.
When I am able to try and register/ finalize registration, it wants me to "complete registration by updating your account information," yet the page continuously loops and clicking "Update and Continue" brings me back to the same page. Which disallows me to register Photoshop.
This is the reason why I, and possibly others, are unable to use Photoshop, for it auto-closes after fully loading, since it cannot be registered the same way Lightroom is.
(Lightroom is registered immediately via a prompt message upon first startup asking for a serial code, one of which that is alread inserted/ auto-inserted by the Adobe Creative Cloud application.)
Upon further investigation to prove my point, on my account the only product registered is Lightroom.
    Picture: http://screencast.com/t/0PTyKbUVLA
I've tried the customer support chat.
    Multiple times.
Possibly upwards of 16. Each time the representative went down the same list and copy/ pasted the same answers.
It's sad that I was the one to narrow it down and have the problem figured out.
Apparently I have to wait to contact their special support team on Monday to get this resolved.
Although, it appears the package is "Photoshop Photography Program (For CS3+ customers)," which is not the version listed and advertised all over the site.
(This package would indicate that I would not be able to use Photoshop since I have not owned Photoshop prior to purchasing this package.)
Yet the only package that this applies to is this one:
    http://screencast.com/t/pDylveniasI
    This is insanely annoying.
I would much rather do support via email, and I would also much rather have a more clear product description if the one I selected turned out to have been falsly advertised.
Message was slightly edited by: MrNameloc

I was on their Chat Support yesterday for 6 hours. Possibly a bit longer.
Anyways, after waiting 4 hours for the Technician, the technician walked me through uninstalling Adobe CC and re-installing, but before he had me 'trash' the old preferences.
Below is the file path (highlighted in blue, obviously), and the items that were changed.
opm.db was deleted after changing the OOBE folder by adding the '.old' to it. (In the picture you can see the new versus the old...)
Then afterwards they had me to make sure Adobe CC would not run, then had me to un-install it and re-install. Then had me to un-install Photoshop and re-install.
(Well, they had me to un-install Photoshop CC, delete Adobe CC's preferences, un-install Adobe CC, re-install Adobe CC, then re-install Photoshop.)
    http://screencast.com/t/hjaPTVD2wl
Did not work for me. You/ anyone else could try and save yourself 6+ hours in their support chat.
They even assured me that, on their end, Photoshop had been registered on two machines already under my account; Meanwhile everytime I view my Adobe Products and Services, it still only lists Lightroom.
Trying to convince them that it's registration is pretty hard. I've seen people with cracks of Photoshop CC, didn't work because Adobe CC keeps re-installing itself if it isn't allowed to be connected to the internet. (They were having the same problem as us; Opening Photoshop had it auto-close, and since Adobe CC cloned itself the anti-piracy measures kicked in causing Photoshop to do this.) However, since the cracks only install the trial version, it's still functional for 30 days. Therefore if you're able to find a trial version of Photoshop, or maybe even get a pirated copy, you'll be prompted to put in a Serial; Then possibly ask Adobe for your Serial, register and activate Photoshop, and maybe it'll work.
Only reason why I suggest a cracked copy is because you are able to actually download the trial without signing into Adobe CC.
Plus, it will actually give you a prompt to input a serial key. Unlike the Adobe CC installer.

  • Is there any way to create a Purchase Requisition without Purchase Inf Rec?

    Hi,
i am dealing with the Preq creation for services when there is not any previous contract and i have noticed that the vendor and the net price are posible to populate them directly in the Purchase Requisition. if then i try to run the ME59 it is not possible to automatically convert it to a Purchase order because there is no PIR (when i assign the source of supply in the Preq then the PO is correctly created using ME59).
I have been reviewing customizing but there is not any point related to that.
Someone knows if it is possible to create a Preq for services without PIR?
    thanks
    ivan

    Hi,
For Service auto- PO from PR, you need to activate Automatic Purchase order creation for Service requisitions in ML91 t.code.
    Note:
For material :automatic PO creation from PR, follow the steps.
    1) Material Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box
    2) Vendor Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box.
    3) Maintain Source list for Vendor & Material.(ME01)
    4) Maintain Purchase Info Record.(ME11)
    5) Create a Purchase Requisition.(ME51)
    6) Use T.Code: ME59 & execute for PR for vendor, you will be able to create automatic PO.
During creation of PR , select check box of Source Determination in the 1st screen of ME51
Ensure that Purchase Info Record should be there.
If you have more than one vendor then fixes only one vendor in source list.

  • Creation indicator purchase requisition in md02

    Hello SAP Gurus,
This is regarding creation indicator purchase requisition in md02.In this creation indicator purchase requisition if we keep setting as 2 than it will create purchase requisition if the dates of PR are in the opening period and will create planned order  if dates of PR falls out of opening period. And it takes the opening period from schedule margin key.
My question is , as system calculate the opening date by subtracting the number of days which we have given in opening period in schedule margin key from the order start date.suppose if order start date is 10.03.2008 and we have given the opening period of 5 days, than the opening date will be 05.03.2008 if there are no holidays between it.So how it comes that PR date will fall in opening period?I am confused that when system will create planned order and when system will create PR if we keep creation indicator purchase requisition as 2.
Plz help me with this query. If you could explain with one example than it would be great.
Thanking all in advance. And obviously for suitable answer i will definately give good points.

    Hi,
System calculates the opening date  by subtracting the number days given as opening period at SMK from order start date.
    For creation ind =2 ,
MRP run date decides the PR / Planned order creation even if u set procurement F.
If MRP run date falls bettwen the opening date & order start date , it will create PR only,
If run MRP run date falls outside the opening preriod ie earlier than the order opening date, system will create planned order and it has to converted to PR
For  examble,  Order start date is  28.03.2008 and 2 day is defined as opening period SMK for ROH.
If u run MRP on today it will create planned order.
Hope u understand , ifso reward and close.

  • MRP creating additional purchase requisitions for the existing sales order

    Hi,
We have scenario where we switch materials from POD material to ARP material. POD material is just like make to procurement which creates purchase requisition and purchase order upon saving the sales order. ARP (Auto replenishment) material creates purchase requisition based on sales order and re-order point while running MRP.
When the material is POD title, it created purchase requisition and purchase order (example: 4500000110) while saving the sales order (example: 1000000010) for the quantity 10. After some time this material is switched to ARP and it has open sales order (1000000010) and purchase order (4500000110).
We have special MRP run for ARP materials based on MRP type, which creates purchase requisition.. What is happening is when we run MRP; it is creating new purchase requisition for the old sales order (1000000010) for the quantity 10. But old sales order (1000000010) is already having purchase order (4500000110) to fulfill. So we donu2019t want to create new purchase requisition for the old sales orders. It should create purchase requisition only for new sales orders.
    Please advise
    Thanks in advance
    Srinivas

    Mangesh,
If the components are Inhouse production then you can think of using collective orders by assigning special procurement key 52. If raw material exists then your requirement cannot be met..as i think your scenario is of assembly processing. The idea of assembly processing is that component materials will always be available and only assembly will be done based on Sale Order.
