Purchase the same ringtone twice

Hi Apple,
I accidentally purchased the same ringtone twice in the App Stor. Is there any chance I could refound one of the two? Thx

You can try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
Or you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
(Tones are a one-time only download from the store, so if you will have to pay to redownload them. You can copy them from a device to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library by connecting the device and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy.)

    I would recommend reporting a problem with the purchase via the steps in the article below.  You can either do this via the email invoice received or by accessing your purchase history.

    Likelyhood is, if they are convinced it was an accident they will refund.   But its not something you can rely on.

    What you can redownload for free will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes, and in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps (and the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app) on your phone. If you redownload via those then you shouldn't be charged again.

    I know you are trying to be helpful, but I DID buy this text tone from itunes! It even states, "text tone" after the name, which is whispering windchimes.  I'm going to try once more, and if it doesn't work, I'll just tell them I want my money back. I don't care if it was only ninety nine cents. When I buy a TEXTTONE from iphone it should automatically download to the right place on the phone!     No, there isn't. You'll need to continue to use that existing account for updates or to redownload purchased content.
    Note that to set up an account in the US iTunes Store for anything other than free apps, you'll need not only a US mailing address but also a US credit card or prepaid iTunes card.

    It depends on how the developer creates it :
    they can either create an iPhone/iPod version that will work on the iPad but will only take up an iPhone sized portion of the screen;
    or they can create an iPad-only version that won't work on an iPhone or iPod;
    or they can create a 'universal' version that will work on both the iPhone/iPod and iPad but will make full use of the iPad's larger screen.
    But if the developer creates two separate apps for the iPod/iPhone and iPad then you will need to buy both if you want to have both.

    Did you download it on two devices - they are currently a one-time only download, so to get them on a second device you need to copy them from the first device to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to other devices that you have.
