Purchase to consume

Please is there anything like purchase to consume in sap mm? If there is what is it?

Hi
We have different type of procurement in SAP MM
1) Stock Procurement - Materials are created as masters and procured for stock. You can raise the PO, Goods receipt and Invoice verification. Account determinaton takes place based on the Material Master Accounting view and automatica account determination procuder.
2) Consumable procurement - Similar like Stock we have consumable procurement where you can procure the consumable items for sirect consumption. You need to use some special account assignment categories Objects during PO creation like for example Cost Center , Asset , Project etc.,
You can search in SDN for Consumable procurement you can lot of information or go thru the SAP library for more information.

  • Purchase order - consumable purchasing

    Hi
we are creating purchase order for cosumable items such as papers, pens etc, it is asking us to enter plant, but actually we are not purchasing these items for any plant, is there any way we can avoid entering the plant in consumable purchase orders, can anyone help me with this,
    thanks,
    monica

    Hi Monica,
When you create a PO for purchasing any material (for instance you are procuring consumables such as paper or pen). Without plant, we can't do PO. The main purpose is, from where the PO is issued to certain vendor Or and at Which place (i mean Plant) the goods (i.e., goods ordered in PO) to be delivered by the Vendor physically.
For ordering consumables /Purchasing of Consumables,
    STEPS:
(As you said, the material is not for the Plant, but may be it for the Accounts or Administration department purpose, i am right...)
    then,
Use NLAG (Non stock material) Material type to create Paper /Pen as a Material
hence, the material is not updated by Quantity or by Value.
    Create a PO for Paper
Note: Plant is mandatory and without plant you can not create PO, cos it shows where you will receive the goods or where vendor should send the consumable goods physically, but cost incurred on that item purchase will be posted to Cost Center, which is a relevent one)
take Account Assignment Category : K    (Item Overview of PO doc.)
In Account Assignment Tab  :  (Item Details of PO doc.)
Enter G/L Account No.  :  .............?             you can get this from SAP FI
Enter Cost Center         :  .............?             you can get this from SAP CO
    Then SAVE it.
I think this will help you in solving your query...
    Have a good day,
    Regards,

  • HT4009 In-app purchases (non-consumable) cannot be transferred from Ipad 2 to Ipad Air. I tried this for an app called Calculator for iPad Free.

On my iPad2 I made an in-app purchase to get rid of ads in an app called Calculator for iPad Free.
The ads free version works great on my iPad2. When I bought an iPad Air I restored all aps and music from my iCloud.
The app Calculator for iPad Free has reverted back to the version with ads. Attempts to restore from iCloud, iTunes and backups have all resulted in the version with ads.
It appears that non-consumable in-app purchases cannot be transferred. To make matters worse, the in-app purchase price has doubled since I bought it in 2011.
Good for Apple, not so good for the consumer.

Problem solved. Just made the in-app purchase a second time and received a note indicating that I had already purchased this app and could download again for free.
Unfortunately, no one at Apple Support knew that. Frustrating, but all is well now.

  • Regarding material wise purchase order creation with reference to pr

    Dear sir
I have a scenario depending on the  material wise pos creation
I have two type of material
    1) raw material
    2) consumables
When user will create purchase order for raw material, system should ask purchase requisition. ( i.e with out purchase requisition for raw material , system should not allow to create the purchase order)
Where as for all consumables materials system should allow to create the purchase order
Without purchase requisition also, for user.
    Regards
    Jrp.

You have to create two different document type for purchase order.
    1) Raw Material Purchase
    2) Consumables Purchase
You can create two different document type for purchase order with below mention path: -
SPRO >> Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Purchase Order >> Define Document Types.
After define two different document type, You can change field status for two different document type with below mention path.
SPRO >> Materials Management >> Purchasing >> Purchase Order >> Define Screen Layout at Document Level.
Select document type and change field status of purchase requisition.

  • Query to find customers who have not purchased anything

I have a query to find customers who have purchased what we call consumables (using item property) over a given period:
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.DocDate, T0.DocTotal, T1.ItemCode, T1.Dscription,T1.quantity, T2.ItmsGrpNam
    FROM OINV T0  INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry, OITG T2
    WHERE T0.DocDate BETWEEN '[%0]' AND '[%1]' AND T1.ItemCode like '2ssy%' AND  T2.ItmsGrpNam = 'consumable'
I have another to show customers who have a particular type of equipment:
    SELECT T0.manufSN,T0.itemName,  T3.Name, T2.Address, T2.Street, T2.Block, T2.City, T2.County, T2.ZipCode
    FROM OINS T0 INNER JOIN OCRD T1 ON T0.customer = T1.CardCode INNER JOIN CRD1 T2 ON T1.CardCode = T2.CardCode Inner Join OCPR T3 ON T0.ContactCod = T3.CntctCode
    WHERE T0.manufSN like 'P%' AND T2.AdresType= 'S'
What I would like is to find those customers who have this equipment (query 2) but who have NOT purchased and consumables in say the last year.
I have tried using Excel by finding duplicates and taking those in query 1 from those in query 2 but it's very messy.
Has anyone done anything like this or got any good ideas?
    Thanks

    Hi Ralph,
Well, I enjoy teaching, so let's start at the beginning.  SQL is a fairly full-featured language, and it supports recursion and nesting.  That's why the books online often describe elements of the SQL statements as "expression" - it may be more than a field or a simple function occurring there.  Nesting is the little puppy we used here.
Now, in your first post, you said:  "What I would like is to find those customers who have this equipment (query 2) but who have NOT purchased and consumables (query 1) in say the last year."
So, our common point between the two queries is the customer, the CardCode.  That's what this part does:  F0.CardCode = T0.Customer.  In my internal convention, I used F for Filter.  So we only want the results in the filter where the CardCode matches the CardCode/Customer from the main query tables.  It's the sole contact point between the two queries.
You also said you wanted only the items where they had purchased no consumables, which basically translates into: a count of the records equals 0.  Now, since all we're interested in from the second query, the consumables query is how many records we returned, we get rid of all the columns except for one that we apply a COUNT to.  After that, it's a simple criteria:  the result of the second query has to equal 0.  This is how the criteria looks after you take out all the details and put only the important brackets in:  (SELECT COUNT...FROM...WHERE...) = 0.
This might be confusing at first, because most of the time we return recordsets from queries, but a standard feature of SQL is to return a value of any data type if the query returns a single row and a single column.  This wouldn't work at all if we had more than one column in our nested query (or would require lots of tweaking), and although it returns a number of results in the complete process of the whole SQL statement, it only returns one result for each row.

  • IOS in-app purchase - clarification....

I am a developer of apps for iPhone and iPad.
One of my apps is a companion app to an online personal finance management tool which provides its services and functionality through a website. A section of these features will be made available to the iPhone audience through a native iOS app that I am creating.
The portal allows users to use most of the features for their personal finance management free of charge. It also has a subscription model which provides the user additional features on the website and provides for expansion of some services both on portal and the mobile app.
I am planning to continue using the same subscription model on app, and will redirect users to a payment gateway if they want to subscribe for the personal finance management services through the app.
My question here is do my app falls under in-app purchase (non consumable)? Since my iPhone app is not the only medium where I could subscribe those services. I can open the web portal and subscribe and can login as normal user in my iPhone app.

  • I have a 16 Gb iphone plus can I pay to have more storage?

I got a new Iphone 6 plus from C.C. at sears but all they wereoffering in the 16 GB phone but I like there share plans for my wife and I; and they use AT&T cell towers which works great for us where we live. I would of rather of had a larger Gb like 64 or more so can I go to my nearest apple store and pay to have my cell phone up graded? I have a 30 days to use and If I don't like the phone I can send it back, but I really like the phone just not the storage. I only added 6 new ring tones and have use up already 4 gb of memory I was blown away. this phone will be out of storage in no time even with I-cloud so this is the question I am willing to pay for an up grade is it possible or should I send it back and go to the apple store and get the one I want the go back to sears and Consumer Cellular and still use them for my service? with my phone thanks in advance Zack.

Apple will not accept a return for an iPhone purchased at Consumer Cellular. You cannot
add additional memory to an iPhone. If you wish one with more memory, sell
the one you have and use the funds received towards the purchase of the model
    you desire.
You can return your current iPhone to your wireless provide, purchase one with
more memory at Apple and take that iPhone to Consumer Cellular to have them
activate it on their network. Before doing so, be use that Consumer Cellular will
accept iPhones not purchased directly from them and if they do, which models
    they support.

  • How can I set up a back up hard drive on airport extreme

I have an external harddrive that was plugged into my airport extreme. Apple seemed to eliminate my abilty to back up wirelessly in one of the updates. How can I set this up again? Does anyone know a way around this?
    Thanks,

Ah, I remember those links now.  I was thinking something along the lines of:
Never consider any computer a data storage device, rather a data creation ,sending, and manipulation device. Anyone who thinks data is safe on any computer, even copied upon multiple partitions is making a mistake.
Never backup your data exclusively upon magnetic hard drives or flash storage, nor consider same since magnetic storage degrades over time even under ideal conditions.
Store important data on multiple servers on multiple continents.
Burn important data onto multiple copies of archival DVDs and store same in cool dark fireproof safes, multiple places.
Don’t burn data onto junk DVD’s purchased from consumer level electronics stores. These are not archival long life DVD’s nor reliable, nor trustworthy. Archival DVD blanks such as Taiyo Yuden, rated for 100+ years are what the pros use, these are made by JVC and are professional grade DVD blanks.
Most people have never heard of archival DVDs, however their cost is only 30% more than junk-level DVD blanks which are only rated for 5-10 years. Also the reject rate on the inferior DVD is around 15%, the cost is almost identical between the WORST DVD blanks and the BEST DVD blanks.
Most importantly know that 2 copies of your data is 1, and 1 is none, and 1000 copies stored in one place or building, is also the same as none due to possible fire.
Always consider and expect your computer’s hard drive to completely crash anytime, at all times, and you should keep a cloned and updated hard drive handy at all times to return to immediate productivity and utterly avoid programs and parameter reinstallation.  Nothing is quicker than taking out a dead HD and tossing in a new updated cloned HD for getting back to 100% in under 20 mins!
    Decentralized Omnipresent Data (D.O.D.)
(something I coined an age ago)
    Backing up data to:
    Multiple HD in multiple locations
On multiple servers on multiple continents, private and public websites, anonymous data farms. (very easy actually)
Burned onto archival optical and magnetic storage
Have unclassified data possessed by multiple people in multiples places.
When your data becomes both everywhere and nowhere, accessible to all, destructible by none, cannot be collected together or permanently retrieved under any circumstances, you have Decentralized Omnipresent Data (D.O.D.) protection rivaling that of large governments.
