Purchase won't download

I purchased a book from iBooks that has videos and pictures on it as well.. It was stated that downloading may take a bit longer. It's been a week.
I've tried restarting my phone, logging out of my apple id, deleting and retrying to download. I have tried with just a regular LTE signal and on two different wifi accounts.
Please help!

Hi Jmassey25,
It sounds as if the download of your book has had an issue and been unable to complete. At this point I would suggest that you delete the purchase from your iPhone and start the download again. Use the steps in this article -

  • Ibook purchase won't download on ipad

I purchased a book on my Mac (Mavericks OS) from the iBooks store. It downloaded on my computer. It also downloaded on my iPhone. But when I tried to download it on my iPad Air (OS 8.0.2) it indicates in small gray letters that it is downloading, which is where it has been stuck for the past 12 hours. So I rebooted the iPad. Same result. When I typed the title into the search box in iBook, the book appeared on the screen with the little blue circle with the square dot inside showing next to the title. I tapped it and it became the "read". Then I tapped it and it became the little cloud symbol with the downward pointing arrow. When I tapped that, the little blue circle returned but nothing happened, again.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I have a similar problem although it is only for one book.  Other purchased books are downloading OK but one I purchased made to be viewed on the ipad will not download.
Tried signing out of itunes account and signing back in.
    Tried deselecting sync collections
    Tried upgrading ipad to ios8.2
Really frustrating.  If it can't be fixed it would be nice if I could get the money back for the purchased book that won't download.  Is there any way to do this?

  • TS1424 App Store purchase won't download

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor from the App store, and when I try to download it, I get "an error occurred" message. It won't download but I've been charged for it. I've contacted Adobe but they said I have to contact iTunes. I'm using Mac OS X 10.7.4. Any suggestions?

  • My purchase won't download to ipod, only iphone?

i purchased a few albums and a song from itunes and i was able to download it to my iphone but now it won't download to my ipod??

Why won't they download to the iPod?  I assume you have double checked to make sure they are configured to sync to your iPod Classic via the iPod's Music configuration in iTunes? To access this tab, plug your iPod in and when it appears in iTunes, select it from under Devices. To the right, locate the Music tab along the top and click on it. Under this tab, you can configure how and what music content is synced to the device.
If you make any changes to this tab, be sure to hit the Apply button in the lower right hand corner to sync the updated changes to your iPod.
Or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

  • In-app purchase won't download.  What do I do other than ask for a refund?

My in-app purchase hasn't downloaded.  Can I do it manually or should I just ask for a refund?

Are you on wifi or cellular? Cellular has download size limits that may be part of the issue.
You can also look on the app's support page and see what they recommend.

  • Purchases won't download, cannot report a problem?

I purchased a music video (actually three) and they're sure as heck showing up in my purchasing history, making me think that I'm going to be charged for them... but they didn't download properly. The downloading symbol just kept spinning and spinning but no progress was being made. After a while of that, I shut down the program, restarted my computer, and it asked for my password (something it never did before).
I went to re-purchase them again and it gave me an error code, but still won't let me download it... but it is again showing even more in my purchase history. I'm out like 10 bucks at this point.
I tried to "report a problem" and it isn't bringing up any pull-down menu.
What are my options? I can't figure out how to get ahold of itunes via phone and their only solutions seem to be via the program.

  • In-app purchases won't download again, "network error"

    Hi,
I have the Rock Band app installed on my iPhone. It worked perfectly fine until now, I made a couple of in-app purchases to get more songs and they downloaded properly.
But a few days ago, EA Games announced that they would discontinue the game on iPhone after July 31st. As a consequence, all players should make sure they restore their purchases so that they can keep playing after this date.
That's what I did, but ended up with a message "network error, check your parameters and try again" (not sure it's the exact wording in English, mine speaks French!). I tried again many times, with the "restore purchases" button or the different song packs. It know I own them already, asks me if I want to download again for free and then gives me the error message.
I shut the app, reopened it: no change. I switched my phone off then on again: no change. I deleted and reinstalled the app: no change + I lost all my previously downloaded tracks that were still in the game.
I checked the internet and a lot a people seem to be having this problem, but I couldn't find any solution.
Can someone please tell me what to do?
I have several packs that are all going to be lost tomorrow when I paid for them!
    Thank

    What happens when you try:
You can try the standard fixes:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

  • Garage band in app purchase won't download on my macbook pro

I wish to buy the £2.99 additional content on the new garage band but as I enter my password for a second time it opens up a black page on the apps store and does not load at all. I have tried all the basics (re logging in and checking for unfinished downloads) but none of this has seemed to help. On the purchases tab there is no evience that i ever try to purchase it. Help please :')

You can download 10.9 from the App Store, providing your MBP meets the requirements.
    Mavericks requirements:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842
If your machine supports 10.9 Mavericks, go to the App Store and type Mavericks in the search bar and it will take to the download.

  • My purchases won't download fully

I bought an EP, and none of the tracks fully downloaded.  I only got partial tracks for them.  It cuts off anywhere from 30 seconds to the last minute of each song when I try to play them in iTunes,
How do I fix this or get my money back?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • Lion Purchase won't download

I purchased Lion via App Store and it isn't downloading or installing. I don't want to click buy again because I will be charged again. Anyway to kick off the download process again?

It doesn't charge you again because is mac app store rules so if you already own the app you can get it again at no extra charge, also try click purchase holding option and see if lion is there and you can install, don't worry you don't pay twice ..

  • Purchases won't download "file is corrupted... try again"

I've asked online apple support what to do and they've told me to download the latest version of iTunes, which I did... but the problem still hasn't been solved. Every time I try to download the music that I've already paid for, an error box pops up that says, "There was a problem downloading such-and-such. The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose 'check for purchases' from the Store menu."
But when I do THAT, the same error box pops up and I'm back to square one. I called Apple support and they gave me the same advice as online support did. Any thoughts?

Here's what worked for me. Stop the current download, delete it from the downloads screen, then delete the .tmp file from the downloads folder in My Documents/My Music/itunes/
Go to Check For Purchases in the store drop down. All should be well after this assuming you do not lose internet connection during the download. If this happens, delete all again and re check for purchases...

  • Shows I purchased won't download

I purchased a show on itunes and they aren't downloading, when I check available downloads, it says nothing to download.

    Hi foze1215,
If a TV show you purchased doesn't appear to have downloaded, you can always download it again as described here:
