Purchased 2TB TC two days ago
I purchased a 2TB TC two days ago. I currently own a vintage 2010 1TB TC. I upgraded my MBP 17" to 1TB hard and plan on backing it up to the 2010 1TB TC. However, when I connected the 2TB to my network it appears as DATA and the 1TB appears as Time Capsule. It appears this way when I open TM Preferences and select disk. In any event I cannot backup any of the 3 MBP that I want to back up to the two
i'm sure there are very few corner cases where this isn't true, but the new 'tower' AC will run circles around the verizon wifi
i disable wifi on the verzion box to reduce in home interference
so the 256air is the only computer you want to backup to the 1tb, right? yes, the first back wirelessly is fine will just take longer, start it when you know you don't need to use the laptop or before you go to sleep
to connect the 1tb back to the network, factory reset it as well (don't worry, backups are not affected, only network settings).
when you open airport utility, you'll should see it in the top left under 'other wifi devices' so go ahead and connect it to your network. i believe the simple setup will force you to 'extend' the network, which is fine, because once it is connected, go to airport utility, click on the 1tb and under the wireless tab, set 'network mode' to off - note, during setup it might give you an option to setup the 1tb as a wireless bridge, if so just choose that and then you won't need to do the last setup about turning network mode to off.

Apps and music are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If you don't want to continue to get that message, delete the apps and purchase them again with your new Apple ID.

I purchased an annual subscription to Acrobat Pro XI and installed on my Mac two days ago. I cannot open PDFs. I keep getting a dialogue box saying my trial has ended and asking if I want to buy the software. Was using Acrobat Pro 9 previously. It appears even that won't open. SOS!

You can click on accept or buy ,which ever option you see on that dialog box.It will prompt you to type in your Adobe Credentials.You can license it by doing the same.
If it still doesn't work ,follow these steps and see how it goes .
Delete all the files from following folders:
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache
And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AdobePCD
Then launch Acrobat and try to activate and check.

The video and sound was working on my computer two days ago (and has ALWAYS worked on my computer since purchasing it in 2010) but now for some reason I can't play video and there is no sound. I updated software today. Still sound & video not working.

1. Install Adobe Flash Player.

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.

I received an Iphone 5 as a gift two days ago. The first thing I did was set up ICloud for photos. Itunes would not allow me to add songs to my new phone without restoring it, yet when I did this, it deleted all 129 photos of my graduation and friends from the past two days. And I cannot find them anywhere, photo stream, ICloud, nothing. Where can I get back my memories?
Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

I can no longer clear my history. I have done this every day for years, and since two days ago The clear history box wont open when I try to clear my history. I tried setting the auto clear option, but that also did not work.
